Scott was great! I had been sick when he arrived and was wearing a mask because my cough has been freaking people out. As soon as he was walking out my front steps he asked if I would like him to put on a mask. I understand most of you may not see the important, But his attention to detail could greatly affected The comfort level of his clients. Next he started to build rapport I’m going over the important information that was needed to give an accurate appraisal of my home, the things he wasn’t necessarily going to see. Upon completion we had a final interaction that left me with the feeling Of gratitude. From the beginning, the initial phone call, and throughout the entire process the customer service and professionalism were top notch. I will add an update once the appraisal has been completed. The update will strictly be based on the timeline, not whether or not I received the amount that I was hoping for in the appraisal.

Nice guy and very professional however not who you want if your trying to get a HELOC. They came in 180k under market value. Our neighbors house sold for 300k more than our appraisal. We got it done but had to use someone a little more on top of the current market.

The guy showed up early in the time frame, and quickly and thoroughly completed the appraisal.

Professional and respectful of my home and my time. They were delayed but it was communicated promptly and efficiently so I wasnt left waiting. Id gladly use them again.

To his credit, following the appraisal process, the appraiser helped me to understand the difference between two types of appraisals, one when you’re refinancing, and the other when you’re selling/buying a home. He took his time to educate me. For that I give him credit, but because the document submitted to the lender omitted (by mistake) at least one feature of the home/lot, I cannot give him five stars. Four will have to do. Educate yourself on the differences in appraisals. It will save you a lot of heartache.

TLDR: Appraised my house for $15,000 below what I sold it for.Did a private appraisal to see what my house was worth to list it for sale by owner. I knew it was low so I listed for higher. I sold in a week for $15,000 more than they appraised it for. Glad I paid $300 for nothing. Only gave 2 stars because they did do the job, just not well.
