I tried to help a friend resolve an issue with Ron Sayer Nissan but was not able to get any real help...Though the situation was 5 years ago and would have been a challenge for them, there was no real care for the customer (even a returning customer). There was a strong feeling that the service paid for was not actually done. So, a second opinion was obtained from a business and two professional mechanics stating it appeared that the part was never replaced. This info was taken to the GM, Service Manager, and Parts Manager. All three of these people just sent me down a level until I received a no on all proposed options due to policy. To a certain extent, I understand the policy and why its in place. But I truly felt that the customers needs were never heard or considered. The fact that the Ron Sayer business lost trust didnt seem to phase them. In an industry where trust is everything, I was surprised. The sad thing is that this customer has been through hell and back and is now struggling to standing on their own with the surprise death of their spouse... This also held no bearing on a better solution for her.I will say that the staff was professional with me and they let me speak on her behalf. I did appreciate that. That is how they earned the one star. But to use a 40% restock fee policy and write off a service that presumably wasnt done or at least done correctly seems pretty bad to me. They lost her business ongoing because it didnt mean much top them. No relationship and no trust.Im also in the market for a new vehicle. But I wont burden them with my needs.
I feel sorry for this dealership, and my salesman Kevin. They somehow have all of the vehicles I looked at priced less than they actually paid for them. It’s an amazing deal for anyone who might not have a few minutes to comparison shop before contacting the dealership. I don’t know how they can afford to stay in business! It is such a messed up world right now!! Thankfully Kevin warned me about equity and value also. He informed me that the Blue Book prices are all messed up. I would use caution; save yourself the embarrassment to ask for anything more than 50% of your actual fair trade in value. Even though my salesman Kevin, who is apparently also the Used Car Manager, did a very thorough trade in evaluation. I mean he found “hard water damage” that I didn’t even know I had! Just crazy! I can’t thank him enough for his incredibly professional help to make sure I don’t spend another dime of my money in that establishment.
Everyone at Ron Sayer Nissan are great to work with. We went in looking for a Murano and they had the color, trim package, and price budget we hoped for. Kevin our sales person listened to what we wanted and how we wanted to trade and he made it happen and more. This is our second time working with them and hopefully not the last.
I am always amazed how quickly they get the service done. Because I need new tires they shared information about their big sale going on until October 31. They also explained that I could pre-buy them if I didn’t need them by my next service.
They were helpful especially when I came to pick up pickup after repair. Most helpful.
My wife mentioned more than once that everyone was so nice.
The entire staff was so amazing especially Mark who helped me look at different models and took me on test drives. He was really awesome and super nice! All my questions were answered and the service was superb! I would highly recommend Ron Sayer Nissan to anyone looking for a new car!
Bought a 2021 Frontier. Straight forward sale and all the employees involved made it seem simple and straightforward.
Ozzie and Ryan are professional and very informative. I felt like they were upfront about everything and had no concerns about my car receiving the best possible maintenance available. Thanks again, guys!Jason
We have purchased many cars from Ron Sayer Nissan. The people there are nice, knowledgeable and have always given us a fair price. We will continue to go back.
Was horrible experience, we are actually here for a trip to Yellowstone, when our Nissan Altima 2020 with a 10,100 miles with a warranty engine light came on. Got at this dealership exactly at 7:45 am, patiently waiting for them to open at 8am, hoping it would get fix fast, but unfortunately they have to order the parts and it will come in 3 days. I wanted to talk to the mechanic just to get an assurance that my car is driveable, the manager or the guy did not even want me to talk to him. He did not offer any rental vehicle no effort of trying to help us continue with our ruined vacation already. They treated us like we were a burden. We ended up having to go to Missoula Montana Nissan dealership and they fixed it within 30 minutes and it was late afternoon too. They treated us better. If I could give this place zero stars I would.
When I went in to Ron Sayer Nissan to trade I. A previously purchased vehicle from them for something a little more to our liking they were awesome to work with! I worked with Penelope and Kevin, I had previously worked with Kevin on another purchase too. They were very polite and answered all our questions and helped us find a vehicle to fit us best. The finance guy Nick went above and beyond to help us get the best interest rate we could. I will definitely be going back!
Great experience! Penelope was helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable. All of my needs were met and the car buying experience was made pleasant. The paperwork process was efficient and comfortable. Everyone was wonderful with which to work.
We had issues after trying to get work done at the Idaho Falls Nissan dealership some months back (sway bar links, serpentine belt, etc) and had such a bad experience we never went back. Fast forward some time and we were moving with our lives packed away into the Van and broke down about 100 miles outside of Reno due to the alternator failing. We got towed in and were able to get work done on the van very quickly for a reasonable price, and the staff even allowed us to stay in the van in the lot for the first night while we made plans to continue our move. The friendliness and willingness to help us was fantastic, I could not thank the team enough. 10/10.
We pulled in to ask about getting our windshield replaced, and before we knew it, got so much more help! Ozzie was so smart, and fixed little programs on our 2019 Nissan Rogue that we wanted changed. It was so easy for him, and such a relief to have his help! We love our car, and would come back every time to Ozzie and his repair staff! Thank you!!!!!
Friendly warm and welcoming from the moment we came in.Andrew was very patient with me and communicated with me throughout the whole process.
Matt was awesome to work with, and the process was so simple and easy. I was able to get great value at terrific price. The features of the vehicle were well known, understood, and articulated by the sales team, which made the decision process self-evident.I really enjoyed the experience and the value I received.
Ryan and Andrew in Parts and Service were so helpful when we needed a new battery for our Rogue while we were passing through Idaho Falls! Can’t thank them enough for helping us so much and so quickly.
Excellent service and a great friendly team. Kevin did amazing with all of our questions and concerns. I wont be going anywhere else. Thank you all at Ron Sayer Nissan!
Service was great. Scheduling was very easy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Explained everything that was done very well and kept in contact with me on what more may have been needed to be done. Highly satisfied with them. My only concern and complaint is that no mask were worn when working with customers and being an older high risk individual that was a problem to me.
These guys are really nice and good at what they do! I’ve had far worse experiences at dealerships, so I’m glad there are still dealers out there who treat you as a customer. They really go above and beyond to make you feel at home, and they’re not too busy to stop and chat now and again.
Updated Review: I initially gave this place four stars for doing a good job. I am updating it to five because I really appreciate the mechanics, the free tire rotation, and multi-point inspection. There is an employee there named Ozzy (not sure if I spelled it right) who is very friendly and welcoming and inspires trust right away. I have interacted with him on the majority of my visits there and I would like it to stay that way. Great job guys!
I got to know Ryan in the service department and he was super friendly and knowledgeable.
The Service staff were excellent! By the way... dont think for a moment that when you become more competitive about the prices you charge for parts and services it isnt noticed. It IS.I was just about to shop around for these things and thought Id give your location another try. Im glad I did. Ill be back for an oil change this Friday *because* your prices have come down and the quality is still up.Thank you.
My husband brought our car in for first service. He came home so impressed with the service, the way he was treated, and the time a salesman took to show him the elite new model of Rouge.
After having a recall done on my abs system I had a horrible beeping noise. Nissan told me to bring it in and pay 150 dollars to have them look at why I have a new noise after work was done. I asked the head service manager if it could be a sensor tripping ect, and he said not sure you need to bring it in and pay to have it looked at. After being completely dissatisfied with the customer service I got online, on a maxima forum and read its common in winter with the crash sensor having to much snow or ice around it. Cost me $3 dollars at a car wash to fix. If Nissan had there way, they would of charged me a 150 dollars when they simply could of offered solutions before needing to pay. I will never use Ron Sayer Nissan again for any service. I have purchased 2 cars in 1 year from them and will never shop there again. I am beyond dissatisfied with the employees and company. I would give 0 stars if I could.
I had trouble with my car while in SLC and took it to them. They said it was battery, and I had to buy a new one. Two weeks later I was having same trouble. I had to go on an 8 hour trip to a funeral the next day. He fit my car in (he was booked), looked at it and said it was not the battery, but the alternator. While I am quite angry with the SLC Nissan dealer because they cost me extra money, time, and stress, I really appreciate Ryan at Ron Sayer for going the extra mile to make sure I was on the road again. However, I am not happy with my salesman who insisted the extended warranty was a good idea because it would cover everything. Now I have spent another thousand on this car I have only had seven months.
We had a great experience buying a Maxima at Ron Sayer. I typically loathe buying cars, but Taylor was exceptional to work with. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from this dealership again.
My mother went to get new keys for her Rogue. Paid 200 a key. 2 keys. Went to pickup the keys and they told her it would be 51 dollars to program them. 1 why wasnt this discussed at the time she ordered her keys. 2 if you pay 200 for new keys shouldnt the programming be included in the purchase price. She dealt with the service manager. He just dismiss e d her. Als she asked for a refund.he refused. She is turning them into the BBB for bad faith practices. Also she still doesnt have keys.
I scheduled an appt with Mark last week. After the test drive things just went downhill. I was offering my car in trade.. he said he was going to have someone look at it.. what he DIDN’T tell me was that he was driving my car to another car lot to have them look at it. He was gone for 45 minutes and I felt like I was being held hostage at the car dealership. No one checked on me, or updated me, nothing. My time was not valued and I spent almost two hours there. He said he would follow up and never did. I would like to say this is the first bad experience I’ve had there, but I had a poor one in 2014 as well. I’m very disappointed and will take my business elsewhere. Thank you for nothing.
The service department is very knowledgeable and professional.Fast reliable repairs with friendly staff!!!
I said they met my expectations because Ive been going there since I bought the car, to get my service work done. They always do a great job and thats why I keep returning. Thank you so much.
Ozzy in service was so helpful with my questions about my car!
Bait and SwitchI was extremely disappointed with the way my oil change was handled today at Ron Sayer Nissan. I went into the dealership expecting to get an oil change at $39.99, like they were advertising at their store front, only to be left with a bill at a 77% mark-up.The thing that disappointed me most is I had taken my car in, earlier this year, for other repairs. They noticed that I had an oil leak and told me it was due to the previous place having used the wrong parts, they asked me what I had paid for the oil change ($38.00). When I told them, they said I should just bring it to them and they would use the correct parts and the price was the same. Once I was given the bill today of $70.92 and questioned them why it was higher the service manager said it was due to the vehicle requiring synthetic oil and if they used regular oil it would “damage the engine”. This information didn’t seem correct to me, because why would a dealership advertise an oil change at one rate using conventional oil (that would damage the engine of the cars they sale), instead of just listing the price for the “required” oil for their vehicles. I also checked the owner’s manual to see if that information was correct once I got home. I found that the manual lists Nissan oil as preferred, but also says that if conventional oil is used it doesn’t void the warranty, so it’s perfectly fine to use without destroying the engine. (9-2 Technical and consumer information)I called the service center back andquestioned them with that information, and they gave me the run around how they just use the recommended oil (which was more expensive than their advertised price) and don’t question the customer if they want the more expensive product or not. Every other place I have ever dealt with has started at the base package and then asked if I would like to use a more expensive product, instead of advertising one price and then automatically changing the product and leaving the customer stuck with the inflated price. I wasn’t trying to get them to give me a free oil change, but just trying to get them to give it to me at the price they had advertised and previously told me was the rate of their oil changes but they refused to do so.I hate to say this, but when this whole interaction was over, I felt like the stereotypical woman at a mechanic shop scenario. Even when presented with facts from their service manual, they blew me off like I didn’t understand anything about my vehicle and didn’t know what I was talking about. Just be aware before you go in that they will have an inflated bill waiting for you by the end, without discussing anything with you beforehand and you’re stuck with the charges.
Ozzy and the crew are great
Do not shop at Ron Sayer Nissan. I came in to find out more info about a car that’s being serviced, because nobody would call me back, ultimately to be yelled and sweared at IN FRONT OF OTHER CUSTOMERS. When I asked to speak to the manager, he tried to kick me out of the store and didn’t acknowledge anything the employee did. He also threatened to keep the car longer as punishment. Absolutely horrendous customer service, my family and I were shocked.
The service department took great care of me! My car was just a few miles over the warranty on the transmission. They were able to fix and cover the costs for a problem they found while getting my car serviced! I truly appreciate Ozzie and Jim always going the extra mile to take care of me and my car!
I went there to get my car detailed. They did a beautiful job. Thanks guys
My experience wasn’t the greatest this time. I had called a week before my appointment and scheduled it at 2pm on Monday but got there and was told I didn’t have an appointment scheduled. luckily the guy was willing to get me in anyways. I had talked to a guy the week before about what I needed and since it was “wasn’t scheduled” they had to waste time to go check my battery again because they didn’t know if it was needed. Then he had to come to me and confirm that I needed my battery replaced and a few other things that I had already confirmed and said I wanted done the week before.
I had never been to this dealership, so I wasnt sure what to expect, but I was really happy to see all the maintenance checkups they did on my vehicle. The car wash was also a nice little surprise! I was not expecting that at all. I loved being able to see inside the garage where the technicians were doing all the work on my vehicle as well.
I would say they did a good job of the next morning I wasnt trapped out of the car. For some reason my doors wouldnt unlock.
I went in not knowing alot about my vehicle, The whole staff were super kind and helpful! They were very knowledgeable and they helped me understand what issues were going on with my vehicle. Im very pleased with my experience at Ron Sayers Nissan!
Just had some recall work done. Nice their service was open during the shutdown; wasn’t using my car anyway. Everything seems right, really appreciate them washing it too. Service guys very friendly.
I took my Nissan xterra in to reprogram TCM. Had no lights on when I took it. They came back and told me they couldnt reprogram it and wanted me to buy a new transmission. Paid and left. Xterra now has 4x4 light on and 4x4 indicator is off completely. Drives worse than before I took it.
I always receive the best service here, the people at the service shopSuper nice, friendly, and the service fast, I just madeMy oil change here, as a part of the service they rotate the tires and wash my car as a courtesy, and very 3 oil change the 4th is free, that’s amazing, I live in jackson, Wyoming, and always happy to drive 80 miles there for my car service
Phenomenal service. From beginning to end I was treated the way I’d expect to be treated when checking into a day spa. Top notch and very attentive. I also was at ease being able to view my car being worked on through the window. All the employees had a smile on their faces as well which I have NEVER seen at a dealership or Mechanic shop before. THANK YOU Ron Sayer Dealership!
We bought a Nissan Titan from Ron sayer in Idaho falls and had a wonderful experience with everyone there we would highly recommend checking them out.Jeff E
Great experience! Very friendly.
Great service, reasonably priced. I’ve been taking my vehicles here for years and will continue to do so.
Thank you so much for being able to service our Pathfinder just 30 minutes after calling! We were on the road for our 12 hour ride back home in less than 30 minutes! Quick, friendly and professional service is a real treasure and much appreciated.
Service manager was very courteous and the repair was performed to my satisfaction. I highly recommend the service department at Ron Sayer Nissan to service your vehicle.
If you require vehicle repair parts to maintain your Nissan it wouldnt be found here or Parts Customer Service, they will have to order most of what you require in at higher than expected prices than Nissanoverstockparts.com or other OEM suppliers. I will never use them again. They will treat you nice until the warrantee on your new vehicle has expired...
Excellent communication from staff Ozzy and Jim. Everything I wanted checked was, and explained to me, and nothing was completed without my permission. The digital service record for my files is a real plus, and the car looked almost like new when ready. Im very happy and will be working with them for all my service needs in future.
This dealership didnt offer a great experience, when I went in with a family member it felt as if the salesmen were annoyed with the fact that we wanted to see once of their used vehicles and not to purchase a new vehicle. The salesmen even told us it was month end and they needed to make another new car sale. On the plus side they did allow us to test drive all the cars we wanted and set us up quickly, but the whole visit had a odd feel to it.
Considering I bought my car from there I thought I would have better service. All I wanted was a simple oil change I got in at 9 o’clockonly person there I didn’t even get out until 10:20I thought that was very poor time management, responsibility to the client, and how can a simple oil change takes so long yes a car wash was done but please give me a break. Very little was done to even communicate what was going on I had to go several times and ask eventually I told him I don’t want car washed just give me the car. I have other things I need done on the car but I will not take it to the place that I actually bought the car from it’s a sad business proposition regards Trish Davis
I traded my Versa Note for a Rogue SV. This is 3rd new car from Ron Sayer Nissan. I always feel like I received a good deal and the service and help with questions is exceptional. The Rogue is a great vehicle.
Had a recall on my Nissan NV passenger van and they got the part in very quickly. Also had a trim piece that they fixed at no charge because it was covered under warranty. They even washed our vehicle which I didn’t know they would do.
The check engine light went on and stayed on. They tried to find the reason. Couldnt. They did give us a loaner car while they searched which was nice and didnt charge for looking. The Nissan Versa has had no other problems since I bought it. I would recommend the car
Fantastic experience all around. Called in and easily scheduled the repair and got the car back quickly. I bought the car there so they gave me a great loaner car. Ozzie the service writer and Matt the head manger are awesome. Thanks guys.
Kevin was so Great! He was patient and answered all of our questions. So when it was time to close the deal the choice was clear “Ron Sayer Nissan” was the place for us!
It was fast and professional
Just went in for a service, got tires rotated and out the door in 20 minutes. Great customer service. Oxygen does a great job!
This review is for the service department, specifically Ossie (hope I got his name spelled right). I love doing my service at Nissan because they are quick and professional, and Ossie makes customers feel like VIP. It initially felt like paying a bit extra over other service shops but its really not as they inspect my vehicle, wash it, and give me a free service every 4 services.
I must say I have had bad experiences with car dealership in Idaho falls but ozz the service manager was great and took care of business and had great customer service and was on top of his game even with this pandemic thank you to all the service members at Ron Sayer Nissan!!!
We had been researching and test-driving cars before arriving at RSNissan. But RSN actually had the car we wanted. We didnt have to settle for a gray one, which most dealerships had in abundance. We wanted a red one with a light interior, and RSN had one. MATCH! And the sale price matched what wed found in SLC. PERFECT. Wed much prefer to buy locally. Thank you. The salesman and manager made the paper-signing step painless. SWEET!
I wish I could give them more stars! If you want a good deal for your next car, this is the place you need to go to. Kevin was very nice, helpful, and informative. They treated us with respect and where honest from the very beginning. The whole team worked with us until we got the price we were looking for and even stayed late to finish the deal so we could take our new car home that night! I really can’t express how amazing this experience was! Thank you guys!
At first I was not happy with this dealership. I was very upset... it took close to a month to get my truck back but they were trying to work with The warranty company I had. DO NOT BUY A WARRANTY FROM DELTA AUTO WARRANTY...But Ozzy called me when I was at my last straw, my husband had to go to California because his brother was dying. He worried about leaving me without a vehicle...In came Ozzy with a loner car for me! It made all the difference. My husband could leave worry free because I would not be stuck without a car. He drove to ca. saw his brother on Tuesday morning and he passed away Tuesday afternoon...so thank you Ron Sayer Nissan for having employees that do care...
I needed breaks and rotors replaced, making other things, their price was $200 less than my estimate from another place. Their customer service is also way above average. defiantely recommend.
The service writer was great got me scheduled promptly. And call me shortly after it was completed. Car was clean and ready to go
Great sales team, not pushy, didn’t hold a pen to my head. They came up with good solutions and answers to my questions. Bought the last XD Cummins on the lot and Betty, Matt, And Nick were awesome to deal with.
I love this dealership I’ve had nothing but great experiences here! I have both of my cars serviced here regularly, and they have been nothing but helpful every single time! Not once have I had to bring something in to have re-done. I love the way they check with me first before they do things! Great job!
They were extremely helpful.
Great! My advisor was very friendly and nice. I moved recently and I used to take my truck into a very trusted auto shop in hyrum Utah. So I was hesitant to take my truck to any old place here in Idaho Falls at first, but after my recent visit to your service department there is no hesitation anymore :). I will bring my truck to you for service as long as I have it.
The staff were very, very helpful and the process was as painless as this kind of thing can be. Even financing was a relative breeze. Well done!
Hooked the Fleetwood Mac singing cranberry drinking homie up with a truck!!!
Service was quick and convenient! My wife and I were from out of town and were on vacation. We managed to put so many miles on our car we had to get the oil changed. We were charged a very reasonable price and were met as soon as we drove up to the service department. They answered all our questions and were very polite. Overall,, my wife and I were very pleased with the fast and efficient service.
It was fast and they were so friendly and not pushy. We loved it
Fast service! Good price! Nice people!Thank you Ron Sayer Nissan!
I always have a really pleasurable experience when I bring our car in for service. The only thing I wish you had/ I would really consider looking into is a changing table in the womens room for babies. It would make waiting for a vehicle to be service that much better.
The service that I received was wonderful. John the service manager is very helpful and friendly. Everyone that you talk with is very friendly and helpful. I will take my car to them for all my service needs.
Very professional quick and polite.Great team that works here I would recommend for oil and repairs anytime. I take my 2018 kia for oil changes and they did better than I expected.
Friendly and patient staff; may have overbooked themselves for number and type of services being done at the time my car was being serviced.Quickly corrected error on invoice. One of the cleanest oil change and auto repair shops I’ve visited.Jim- your friendly demeanor will keep me coming back.
I love my new Nissan kicks. Mostly everyone seemed helpful. Was kinda sad they don’t do the calendar thing. I was helped in a timely manner and was walked through the features of my new car.
Takes to long for a simple oil change
Excellent service! Took me right in and completed the recall in a timely matter. First time having service here and extremely pleased.
I was quick to get an appointment for an oil change and service. When I arrived they asked the necessary questions and took my car back immediately. In the waiting room I was very impressed that I could sit in front of a window, that allowed me to watch them work on my car. Thanks for a great experience!
Kevin at Nissan Sayer was great to work with. We have leased our last four vehicles with them and they have never disappointed us! We love our new vehicle!
Always appreciate the service we receive at Ron Sayer Nissan. Ozzie was very helpful, friendly and informative! (Give that guy a raise!) Thanks so much for always taking such good care of us.- Kevin and Lynn
I had a warranty replacement item with the extended warranty I purchased from the Nissan dealer I bought my van at and was disappointed when a simple reimbursement by either American Express or a check were not acceptable methods of payment from a large scale dealership such as Ron Sayer. I should never have to pay out of my own pocket for a warranty item and then work out the reimbursement myself with the warranty company from a OEM Dealer.
By far the best Nissan Ive ever been too. Very fast, very efficient, very welcoming and very accommodating.
Wow, traveling through from out of state and these guys treat me better than my hometown dealer. They were awesome. Exceeded my expectations.
Ron’s Service had my Rogue fixed and in the and on the road on in less than an hour.
Took my 2014 Pathfinder in for an oil change. They were able to fix a tire that had a nail in it and replace a broken visor on the drivers side all with 2 hours. They did a great job.
Honest, friendly and thinking of getting my next Nissan here.
Fantastic service! They were quick, gave me a loaner vehicle for a one hour job as I had an errand to run, gave me a text when my car was ready, finished in less time than expected and washed the car to boot. I don’t review a lot and give the “fifth star” even less, unless it’s really spectacular service. I guess they could have given me a cookie but I felt guilty not giving a full 5 for a cookie. That should tell you everything.
Fast courteous service. My service review came by email allowing me to see all the services performed. The staff was excellent. That is why I will only go to Ron Sayer Nissan for all my car needs. THE BEST!!!
We had a great experience buying our 2013 Nissan Pathfinder at Ron Sayer Nissan. Shane made the experience very easy. My car looked amazing after it was detailed. I love my new Nissan! They even put a new battery in my key fob! My husband and I bought our Jeep with Ron Sayer Dodge. We will always buy from Ron Sayer.
It was good to get a qoute on tires for comparison.
