Always been excellent

The employees are kind and organized but I just bought the second of two guitars from them both with MAJOR damage that was absent from the photography. One of them had a very large hole in the back and the other a very large chip out of the corner. The photography was shot from every angle except any that would reveal the most glaring shortcoming of the product. Its hard to believe that this was an accident.I would preview in person anything you plan to buy from this company because they are not forthcoming about major flaws in their products.

I shop the local auctions almost every week. I’ve been shopping them for nearly 5 years. I’m not picky, but I despise poor customer service. A few trivial things can eventually turn into a big enough reason to shop somewhere else & that is where I think I might be headed soon.Several weeks ago, my husband went to pick up some items, one of them being an 8’ couch. When he was loading it, he told me that they were scoffing at him, saying “You’re never going to be able to get that in there.” He had planned to put it on top of our BMW X5 & strap it down. We don’t own a truck, nor do we know anyone who does, so it’s what you have to do sometimes. Anyways, he’s a strong guy, but they literally stood there while he lifted the couch up on top of our car by himself. I was kind of dumbfounded when he came home & told me that. I mean, who does that? I get that they’re not a moving company, but you are a business & it’s simply a common courtesy, in my opinion.Today, he went to go pick up a few random items that I recently won. One of the items was a commercial paper towel holder. Except, I didn’t bid on that. At least, I didn’t mean to bid on that. I was looking through the items I had won & there it was! I don’t own a business, or a shop & I have zero use for such a monstrosity. I don’t know how it happened, all I can think of is that I was doing the auction in real time, which I’ve never done, and my phone was in my hand. I’ve got 3 young children & a lot going on & I must have pressed some buttons. Because the auction was in real time, I had no way to call them & tell them it was a mistake. So, when my husband went in to pick up the items, he told them it was a mistake & they laughed. It wasn’t expensive, that wasn’t the point. The point was, I don’t need it, I have no room for it & I absolutely didn’t mean to do it! I guess they didn’t get it. More importantly, I am a repeat customer & one would hope that in good faith & in the name of customer service, they would take it back. Never mind the fact that it needs a key to open it & it has none. It’s TRASH. They basically auctioned off TRASH.What if it was an expensive item that I had accidentally bid on? I wouldn’t have paid for it & they would have been forced to re-auction the item. I wasn’t going to squabble over $6, but I think it’s bad business to forego customer service in the name of volume sales. They used to be alright, but they’ve gone downhill. From now on, I think I’ll just shop with the other auction company. They’re friendlier, cheaper & have the same types of inventory. They remember my name every time I go in & will carry things out to my car without me even asking.👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Great auction house when I moved here 15 years ago I enjoyed their live auctions now everything is online but they still have the same great people and enjoyable to work with.

Great auction, great staff

We talked to Randy at Bighorn. He begun by asking probing questions about the vehicle we were looking to sell. The odd part with Randy was he wanted the location of the vehicle without any supervision. We mentioned we needed to schedule a time for him to view the vehicle but out of the blue he was not interested. Lack of professionalism if you ask me.
