First time I used their services, very knowledgeable and attentive to Eddie my cat. Yes I will continue to use them for all my future visits and refer them to friends and family for all pet care. So glad I found them when my cat was sick.

Great communication and friendly service from staff and doctor. Don’t really ever have a problem with this clinic. Only heads up is it can be pricey but that’s with any private vet outside of banfield and even they have their issues. So overall a great place they always take care of my baby’s needs.

Weve brought our dogs here for about 10 years and have been happy to return for every medical need and for occasional boarding. The doctors and all staff interactions have been consistently good. They put the dogs at ease. COVID-19 times were very hard but they made it work, too. Well be back.

Veterinarian was amazing and very compassionate. He is a total caring and loving human being and took the time out if his busy schedule to let me what was going on with my dog. I am appreciative and grateful. 💝

PAINFULLY AWFUL EXPERIENCE… took my 2 month old puppy for a simple suture removal w/ anesthesia on 06.13.21 … doctor gave me my puppy back at 2PM with a PERFECTLY CLEAN bill of health. My poor puppy never shook off the anesthesia and when I woke up in the morning at around 5am (06.14.21) he was deceased … LESS THAN 24 HOURS AFTER THIS SIMPLE VISIT MY PUPPY WAS GONE … this hospital killed my puppy & showed ZERO REMORSE … HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PLACE WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

I had to take my canecorso in for cherry que surgery. Staff was super friendly and responsive to my requests and needs. The veterinarian took the time to explain everything in detail and really took an interest in my dogs overall health. They are very convenient fir me and the Saturday hours are great for my schedule. My dogs recovery from surgery is 4 weeks and I’m confident they will continue to give good service. If not, I will be back with a review 🤓

I brought my cat there yesterday and she had her very 1st ear cleaning, they gave me to her & said everything was good. I drove off with confidence in them because they always do great! I drove off but then looked at her and her 3rd eyelid was out, half her eye is covered and she can barely open it. Luckily I was one minute away and brought her back. They told me it was normal when cleaning her ears & it’ll go away on its own…. Not cool but I “okay” it. As I look it up it’s called Horners syndrome and happens when damage to the nerves occurs that control the muscles of the eye. So the ear cleaning was probably too rough or not gentle enough… she didn’t eat until 36hrs later and isn’t even talking much anymore like she was…

The doctor and the staff are great! However, Im looking for a change. They only prescribe Simparica flea & tick medicine but it makes my dog sick. Soooooo, they charge $29 PER PILL for anti nausea medicine he must take before taking Simperica. Im done.

Bad place !!! if you love your dog do not bring here, i bring my dog for allergies shot and the order a rabies shot for her and she has it in June the nurse did not want as to talk to the doctor about the mistake instead she said nothing happens because that happen before with a cat! when i call the front desk rude people hang the phone on me . i was about to call the police DoNot bring you love ones here

They helpfully alerted me to a past due rabies shot when I dropped my pet off for nail trim. But AFTER they brought my dog back to me they told me of two other shots that were past due. I then had to wait a second time for her to get more shots. They should have alerted me to all three shots when I first arrived

I Iove this hospital so much the father and son and the staff are truly amazing and helpful. My dog has been coming here for years, even had two surgeries and I’ve never had an issue. Very responsive and they truly care about the animals. My dog wouldn’t take his pills the doctor prescribed to him recently and they didn’t mind me bringing him in for the last couple of days and giving them to him free of charge. I’ll always come back.

My dog Juno used to hate going to the vet, but she has come to trust the vets and staff at Prince George’s animal Hospital. I especially appreciate the care. my dog received when she cut her paw on glass in the park and required stitches. It was a long process but she has healed completely. The vets and staff at Prince George’s animal Hospital helped us through the process with kindness. I recommend them highly.

Appointment was at 1330, finished my paperwork at 1344. Drove off at 1434 after sitting for almost an hour before I called them when someone who arrived 20 minutes after me got their dog brought in and treated before they even collected my paperwork lol. I’m sure they are awesome, if they actually honor your appointment. I should also add that I was 1 of 2 patients.

I refill my cat’s medicine often and it’s always available for pickup quickly. The staff is so friendly especially Miss Aminta who usually is the one I speak to when I call.

This place is money hungry. I was taking my yorkie for check up here for about 2 years with no problem. After our last check up the doctor recommended teeth cleaning for over$800. I said no thank you and left. After a month later my dog becomes sick. I take him here he has to stay over night another $1000. The doctor said he has bladder cancer and has to be put down. I dont understand how they can recommend teeth cleaning, but miss bladder cancer within a month. I think their taking advantage of COVID because owners arent allowed to be in the room with them. Completely disappointing

My little dog was near death when I took him there. They immediately started treatment. Kept me fully updated. They even sent me videos. He spent 8 days there. I knew he was in great hands. With prayer & expert care, he is now home recovering. I will always be grateful. Oso & I love PG Animal Hospital!!!

Dr. Narendar Khianey, DVM has been the “only” veterinarian that I have entrusted my cats (3 fur sons,1fur daughter) to over the last 25+ years. My fur daughter lived for 16 yrs.I have two remaining fur sons that I have had for 18yrs and 9 yrs. When my cats have had health problems and acute problems, I have been able to get them in to be seen the same day.I find Dr. Khianey to be up to date on his veterinary knowledge. He explains health problems in a way one can understand. He follows up with you through direct conversations until the problem is resolved.During this pandemic, my senior fur son had a recurrent problem that needed surgery and drainage. I called when the office opened and was able to get him in that morning and home that evening. He was better within 24hrs.Thank-you Dr. Khianey for all the years of dedicated veterinary care.

The several visits were great always showing awesome customer service. My only issue is pricey. I decided to compare price after my visit on 07/01/2020 to other animal hospital it shows some of their services are way over.But hey to each is own. The location is convenient so maybe thats what you paying for. CONVENIENT FEES

I have been looking for a place that can surgically remove a mass on my dogs nipple. After numerous google searches, I stumbled across Prince Georges Animal Hospital. Prices are very reasonable and they are super efficient. I will follow up with a post surgery review but everything has been great so far. Thanks!UPDATE: I am 100% satisfied with the service I received from Dr. Naren and Dr. Rahul. I dropped my dog off around 8am and received a call around noon that all went well with her surgery. Dr. Rahul also went over the different medications that my baby would need to take. I asked that my dog be groomed prior to her discharge and they did an amazing job with that (she can be a bit of work when it comes to being groomed). The process was easy from start to finish and I am extremely grateful! Id also like to give special recognition to Carmen. My dog had an accident in the car (due to nerves) and Carmen provided materials to clean up my car. She is extremely caring. Thanks so much! Im glad to know that I have a new reliable vet and will no longer be taking my baby to Petsmart Banfield hospital!

I am leaving this review on behalf of my friend. She took her dog Toto two days ago here. Toto wasnt doing well. He didnt eat for 2 days and was vomiting. Upon arrival, they dont let you go inside so I handed Toto to one of the assistants. Within 20 minutes they came back out stating that he probably ate some trash or something to upset his stomach. They offered a vaccine for the nausea. We declined because we had some at home for him. No labs were done. Nothing. We trusted their professional advice. Today, as I type this we took Toto to the Dogs and Cats Veterinary Referral & Emergency in Bowie, MD. They informed us that Toto Kidney was failing. Long story short, we had to put Toto to sleep. It has been one of the hardest things weve ever done given that Toto was our first pet. I am not here to blame anyone on the death of our dog however, I feel that there should be more entailed when there is a visit at this facility. Please make sure if you go here you ask questions and are satisfied with service. My heart aches for the loss of Toto.

Treatment plan was efficient and the vet made sure to answer all of my questions and concerns. I highly recommend this place for your pets daily check up to your pet emergencies.

I recently took my 12 year old Chihuahua, Coco, in for dental work and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results and the level of care that she received there. I was able to take her in to be seen two days after scheduling so there wasn’t a long wait. The receptionists were warm and welcoming and explained everything about the procedure and all costs clearly. Dr. Khianey was very informative, caring, and was open to all questions after all the work was done.They also followed up the next day to make sure that everything was alright with her and I really appreciate that.Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I definitely recommend them.It was my first time going there and I’d gladly have them care for my baby again in the future!Great job guys!

I am a new owner of a Shih Tzu puppy (Snickers) that I purchased for my 5 year old granddaughter. I chose PG Animal Hospital to care for our Shih Tzu because they came highly recommended by one of my co workers.We went for Snickers first visit 3 days after we got her. The staff is informative, professional, and very friendly. They answered all my questions and explained everything clearly. I like the care they showed with our puppy. IT WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE!! I Pray it will remain that way...

The whole process was pleasant from initial phone call to when the tech came outside to receive my 14yo chihuahua. Given the pandemic humans aren’t allowed in the clinic, but everyone was profesional, respectful, and organized. The Dr. was thorough with the diagnosis and I received emails with more information. Although I was worried about this process they gave me a piece of mind knowing they took good care of my little Maui.

Prince Georges Animal Hospital is the best! I boarded my Reecie while I attended my sons out-of-town graduation. Reecie suffers from separation anxiety, but I was able to enjoy the commencement ceremonies because I knew she was in good hands.

Ive been going to Prince Georges Animal Hospital for the past 5 years and have had consistently good experiences. The staff are very caring towards the animals there, and you can tell they really care about the four-legged patients! The vets (Drs Khianey Sr and Jr) are thorough and take the time to listen. I dont feel like Im being up-sold when Im there.During the pandemic I had to take my cat for an unexpected visit and I was very nervous about how it would go. They picked up and dropped off my cat curb side and I discussed the issues over the phone with the vet. It went great, big relief to me that they are taking safety seriously during COIVD!

Everything went smoothly as usual, however, when we were all coming out of the exam room, there were several very large dogs in the waiting area and it was very tight and I was hesitant to bring all three of my little ones through. The tech saw the same situation and before I could say anything he sprang into action and asked me to wait in a third room while he got the larger dogs to move to the other side of the room. I really appreciated his proactive reaction to the situation. Thank you for another great experience!

Dr K has ALWAYS been gracious, good with our animals, knowledge, and affordable. Now, Dr K.Jr . Is here! We saw him for the first time 2 days ago! Wow! Super thorough . Shared a lot of educational info, and both dogs loved him. Carmen, their assistant.....I cannot say enough about. She’s quiet yet loving. Since Cole was a baby, she’s held him for the doctors, whispering soft Spanish (and English ) in his big ears. He LOVES her!!! Now, Gracie has fallen in love. The place is ALWAYS super clean and now it’s gotten a new modern look! I wouldn’t advise anyone going anywhere else for pet care!

I had a appointment for 9:15 for my dog second round of shots and she wasn’t seen until 9:45. During our 1st visit I paid for both rounds of her shots and was still asked to pay $63. I don’t recommend this vet.

We were referred to PG Animal Hospital by a friend for my 8 week old Yorkie and its been over a year. They have take care of Gizmo like hes their own, ask if you have any concerns, as well as provide quality care, even the front office is great. I wouldnt trust any other place with my dog given the personable way they treat him and all their patients.

I felt welcome and my dog had the best care in this place although brief. They are close to my home and that is a big plus. They are a bit pricey, but in my opinion worth it. The vet is gentle and loving with the pet and offered us compassion in grieving times. Highly recommend them. On top of that the place is always very clean and the rest of the staff is friendly.

Both Dr Khianey are exceptional professionals, since day one they’ve treated Tamalito so good!My little fur ball pal whenever needed a shot he would get treats, even while doing his nails/claws.Moving to a new area it’s always challenging to find doctors, we were lucky enough to find this vet and now that we are moving out again, we don’t care driving 2 hours, as long as our cat is in their hands it will be worth it.I truly recommend them since they know how to treat their pacientes, employees, and clients.

I came here just based on a quick web search. My usual veterinarian was out of town and I needed to have something time-sensitive checked on a stray kitten Ive been taking care of. I adored both the staff and the doctor that saw me. They were very sweet, accommodating and just all around wonderful to work with. Ill definitely consider using them again.

We have 17 year old dachshund that was only seen by one vet his entire life. I have since moved from AA County to PG County and needed to find Rupert a new vet. How wonderful it was to come across Dr. Khianey. What a warm and caring doctor. I highly recommend this practice. Everyone we came in contact with at this office was fantastic.

I adopted two kittens and had a voucher for a free physical for my new pets. They were so nice and friendly at this location. One of the kittens needed to get another shot and they offered to do it or let me bring him back to the shelters clinic with no pressure. The vet was very nice and knowledgeable. Mine was the first appointment of the day at 8am and I was in and out in about 40 minutes. Not bad at all.

I recently moved to the area and didnt have a vet here yet. My dog was having urinary issues that started getting worse over the weekend. They were able to get me in same day for an appointment Monday morning. They had fast, friendly, and affordable service, and called me the next morning to provide results and get the medication my dog needed.

Absolute Amazing!!!!! There aren’t enough words to describe how well they treat my 7 year old chihuahua Mimi. She gets very anxious during her vet visitas but they are always able to calm her down. I highly recommend PGAH to anyone!!!

Alway take care of my cats always make it better for us

I had a concern with this hospital, in that they tend to push unnecessary procedures. They required some vaccinations and a stool sample, just to clean my cats teeth. I got them to change their mind on that occasion, but they told me that in the future, they would require the vaccinations. I filed a complaint with the state of Maryland. You can see the states response below. I firmly believe discretionary vaccinations and procedures should be decided by the customer.

I had my first experience with the PG Animal Hospital yesterday and it couldnt have gone better. We have an old-man cat (16+ years old!) who has a bit of an eye infection. He REALLY hates going to the vet and I didnt want to have to wait a long time for an appointment.I called these folks and they got me an appointment just two hours after I called and were also very friendly and understanding on the phone. The location is also amazingly convient with ample free parking. And coming from DC is super easy -- less than fifteen minutes and just off the BW Parkway. For DC folks It is so much easier to get to than the animal hospitals in DC and VA.The front desk staff were also friendly and understanding and the wait was brief even on a Saturday afternoon. It was also clear that the staff there get along and enjoy who they work with and what they do -- great atmosphere!Check them out!Check them out! Prince Georges Animal Hospital is a wonderful vet to take your pet to for routine examines and emergencies. I can tell that everyone there truly love animals. They are the first vets I have used who called me the day after my dogs appointment to see how he was feeling. I highly recommend them.

LOVE THIS PLACE! Awesome doctors, awesome staff, awesome service. Knowledgeable, caring, organized. 5 stars all the way! This hospital has taken care of my dog since I got him seven years ago. I think my dog is more active and healthy now than he was when I got him. One thing I love about Dr. K and his staff is that they emphasize the importance of accountability. They know they are great at what they do, but you as a pet owner have to do the little things right in between visits. Its not just about emergency care, but its also about preventive care. If you have a pet, bring your pet here for care. You will NOT regret it.

I took my dog to the doctor as an emergency because my doctor was not available until Tuesday. Things happens for a reason. I loved the welcoming environment, and the options given to me to treat my dogs ear infection. My current vet is far from my house but also very good, and when I was getting ready to leave, I noticed the office had patients and everyone was being greeted with courtesy. The staff had connections with each dog, which for me, was a great indication of people that care for the well-being of the animals. I am definitely recommending them and switching to them in Hyattsville!

Yesterday was my first time coming to this clinic. The staff is wonderful and the doctor that took care of my puppy was wonderful. I do recommend this place to everyone that really love their pets and that want a doctor to listen when you are worry about your pets. I’m really happy I will stay with them and I will not return to the other place I used to go too.

Everyone is very friendly! The vets and techs are awesome! Reasonable prices and they dont try to up-sell products and services.
