Absolutely amazing!! Not only did they save me $550 from being ripped off from another shop who said I needed service that I really didn’t, but they told me what preventative care I can do to make my brakes last longer. Midas has been over the top kind, attentive, and transparent.Only issue I has was the front desk employee smoking a e-cigarette right next to a sign in the shop that said “no smoking including e-cigarettes”.The mechanics are amazing, and I will definitely be making Midas my only place to take care of my car!!

I brought in my car cause it was making an odd noise. It runs fine, AC works, no mechanical issues, etc. First, I called to ensure they check belts and the guy I spoke to said they could. When I got to the store, he mentioned an oil change (which I still had about 600 miles to go, but decided to get it out of the way). I was told to leave my car and come back—so I did. When I got back I was charged $220 for the oil change and filters but they didn’t even look OR find out what was wrong with the belt—which was the initial reason for me even going in. I’m not car savvy or I would’ve done it myself. I’m just really not impressed at all with the service or the work provided. Would not recommend Midas in Hutchinson at all. You’re better saving your money or spending it somewhere else where you’ll be taken care of.

They got me in quickly and were all very nice. While I waited they chatted with me and even showed me some issues with my car that I had no clue about. I really appreciate the assistance.

They were helpful and got me in quickly. A bit pricier than other places, but other places were scheduling 1-2 weeks out. Staff was nice!

I recently got a flat tire and while I was trying to change it myself, Andrew pulled up and helped me with changing it and even looked at the tire to see if it could be patched! He was very professional and helpful and made a bad situation a lot better! I went to Midas naturally because that is where this gentleman worked and they squeezed me in last minute to fix up my tire! Overall great experience and absolutely courteous staff!

A million times better than meineki. They didnt charge me and arm and a leg and also offered to fix my blinker while my car got its brakes inspected. Thank you!

During the current arctic cold snap, I discovered a low driver’s tire on my vehicle. The service station listed as having free air was closed as it was late Saturday afternoon. I tried one of the pay air stations which ended up not working and made my tire worse. I have always taken my vehicle to Midas for repairs and out of desperation, I called to see if they could just air my tire. Turns out they could and in under five minutes, checked/aired ALL of my tires at no charge. Who does this? Only those committed to high customer satisfaction and caring about their community. Huge thank you to Midas as it was bitterly cold and I had no one else to help me. Special thanks to I believe his name was Alex. Wonderful young man and human being!

Midas is a great place to come when you need to repair your vehicle. I suggest you ask for Jordan he has great customer service and the best shop manger I’ve ever seen. I give this place an 1000/10

Wish I could recommend this place. I went in for an alignment after replacing a lot of front end parts (struts, ball joints, tie rod ends, etc because of age more than wear) and getting new tires. The old tires had worn evenly, but were at the end of their life. The people there were very friendly. I had an enjoyable visit! (Based on that Id give them 5 stars!) Everything seemed as good as it could be when I left.Now I went to college for B.A.S in Automotive Technology, graduated with a 3.9 GPA and passed A1-A8 ASE tests. I know what Im talking about with cars. Not trying to brag, just trying to prove that Im not just some armchair automotive hero.A few months and 3000 miles later I went to rotate my tires (the tire guy offered free rotations and my shop was crowded) and the rear tires were almost wore out. Fronts were looking perfectly fine. I went back to try to figure out what in the world was going on as the tire guys said it was a poor alignment (I agreed judging from the tire condition and driving characteristics) I had to get there early to be done before work so I scheduled an appointment as the first person in line. Get me in, figure out what is the problem, get me out, go on about our days. I was hoping for a win for both of us.Got there early, before they opened and waited. As soon as they were open they helped a different customer (ok, she was probably needing help more than me, no issue). When I was helped, the fellow was super rude. Ive been around my fair share of rough folks too. He didnt want to help, all he wanted was to prove I was wrong and he was right (I just wanted to find the issue, not fight about it). He finally put the car on the lift and showed me the rear shocks were leaking oil. They were dry. I wiped it with my finger and there was no oil leaking. He also said the chop on the tires comes and goes. I spun the tire, felt it, and the wear was consistent, not irregular.Finally, after I asked him, he put the car on the alignment rack to check the alignment. After a while, he brought me out and showed me it was in tolerance. He did mention he adjusted it slightly. The printer was low on ink so the printout was very hard to see. He offered to change the rear shocks for me, but I declined and left as I had a work meeting. After being there for two hrs! It should have taken 15-20 mins.I closely studied the printout later and found the rear had been out of spec before the slight adjustment. Now, was the alignment rackout of adjustment? They can be off. Was the wrong car accidently put in so the wrong rear spec was inserted and adjusted to? It could have been an honest mistake by someone who is good at their job. It would have been a totally different story, but rude employees will always scare your customers away. I left with such a bad taste in my mouth, and not knowing if he actually righted the issue, I cant go back. Why should I? There are other shops that would gladly take the extra business. Ill be going to a different shop to get the alignment rechecked before replacing two new (but wore out) tires.Update: I brought my car in to a different shop since the rear tires continued to wear at an accelerated rate. They checked it, informed me the front was good and the rear toe adjustment was off. Fixed it and it is good now. Just took an extra two tires and a second alignment to get it right.

Passing through town and had a flat late on a Saturday. They found a way to fit me in and get me back on the road. the staff was outstanding.

Told me what needed fixed and offered me what it would cost for them to fix on each part in a detailed list. Unfortunately, when I went to pick up my car it had been parked under their sign in which my vehicle had gotten pummeled by bird poop so bad I could barely see out of the windshield..

If it wasnt for Mike, I would be going somewhere else. He ALWAYS takes care of things while the car is in there. He looks for other problems that may be underlying, when parts are off, he looks and tell us if he sees something else that could be done. If not, then what to look for in another 1000 miles or whatever. He is THE ONLY REASON we go there with our vehicles, work trucks, etc. Best place to go hands down.

Only 4 stars cause it took them 2 hours. But they fixed my issue of changing my oil after my drain plug stripped. So overall decent experience.

Driving home to Colorado after Christmas, got a screw in the tire. We we re 27 miles away. We called and they said theyd take us in. A short 45 minutes later, were back on the road. Tire repaired, wheels balanced. We bought the tires at a Colorado Midas, and they honored the warranty.And on top, very friendly people!

Nice but overpriced

Went in for an oil change and was told that I needed 1,100 dollars worth of work that needed to be done. Not sure what all was checked since they were only concerned about upselling me on stuff my car didnt need. Said I needed a new cabin filter and the current one was only 8 months old. Went in for a 50 dollar oil change and I could have ended up spending $1,100. Ugh

I was in from out of town and my car was breaking down. They worked on my car until it was finished, even thought it meant staying later. Wow, I felt so blessed and thankful for them. I would definitely recommend them. My car is working great, now!

I went in with a coupon that says 19.99 and I wasnt expecting to pay $90 on an oil change. I was livid afterwards. Was not happy. And I wont go there for an oil change again. I dont even think they applied the coupon either. They were friendly and nice atleast.

What I thought was a major issue was just mud caked in the inside rims of my tires. The employees here treated me with respect and I didnt feel dumb for taking it in to be looked at. They didnt try to sell me anything and were up front about what was wrong. I appreciate being treated with respect!! Great employees!!

Instead they said bring it in and will see .......... they said bring it in and we will look at it and tell you what its going to cost you if they cant tell me whats it going to cost approximately before I take it in I dont trust them.

Amazing service with a smile. Called at 1pm got the car in at 1:15pm. The owner is very helpful and went through what we might need for service but wasnt pushy at all. I will take all my vehicles to this Midas for all my vehicles service needs.

Mike and his boys were very friendly and were very helpful. They were able to find out the exact problem with my van. They are very precise. Been there three times and will come back,in the future. They wont charge you anything if you dont want it.

Went in because I had been told by another brake inspector that my rear drums needed to be replaced. I went to Midas for a second opinion and was informed that while I will need them replaced within the next couple months I didnt require them right now. I appreciate the honesty and even though they didnt get the sale that day...I will be going to them when the time comes to have them replaced! Thank you for looking out for me!

Service is hit or mis, They also tried to tell me there are things wrong with my car that arent. There is also one machinic there that was mad that I had to come back because they didnt fix the problem correctly. Hope other have a better experience.

Dont listen to Matts Auto if they tell you not to come to this place. Got a quick repair from Matts Auto and the car broke down 2 hours later...they were closed and I was unable to contact them. Back to Midass. Mike was willing to stay late to help us out-of-staters get home. They had fair prices and great service. This place is unique because they do allow you to buy and bring your own parts or oil and just charge labor if necessary. Great place!

Took my vehicle in for muffler replacement. Received call to return to shop to inspect faulty front struts. Vehicle was up on lift, with fresh oil running down both front struts at exactly same spot at the rear of both struts. My vehicle was two years old. We were using that oil can trick when I was in high school, squirting oil on shock absorbers to simulate leaking shock absorbers. These clowns need a new play book, not one that dates back to the 50s. Stay away from this place, these people are crooks.

Scheduled an oil change on Wednesday for Friday. When I got there they had no record of me calling even though they confirmed it to be a 9am Friday. I have been going here for a couple of years now for oil changes and mechanical issues with my car. So once they got that figured out it was on to the oil change. They quoted me $85 for an oil change. My car is an 07 Charger. They said it needed special 10W30 oil. Special 10w30 oil? I figured it was they same they have always put in my car. Now Im not stupid but 10w30 is pretty common. Needless to say that they have a internet add about 24.99 oil change that includes oil and filter. I didnt want to believe some of the posts on here about them, but they seem true. First $85 for an oil change is ridiculous. Second Special 10w30 oil for my car is a flat out lie. Will never go back to one of these stores again. They lost me as a customer.

Josh did a great job of giving me info about what was going on with my front end and helped me get it serviced and repaired!!! However, Mike seemed to want more of my hard earned dollars. He called and told me that a stud had broken while taking off my wheel and told me it would cost an additional $71.00 to repair and replace. I gave the phone to my husband and he became a bit stuttered. Husband told Mike he would take care of the stud and lug nut situation. But. When we picked up my car, He told us the stud did not break?????? Seemed extremely suspicious to us both. Otherwise the job was well done as far as we can tell.

My service time went well, no problems and the time spent was a positive experience.

I took my car to this here and they did Not even change the oil or power steering fluid. The reason I knew they didn’t. Because I took a sample before I took it here and then I took a sample after they were done. And both of the samples were DIRTY. They never even changed the fluids and they charged me over $100 dollars for work that was never done. Oh.I took it back and they denied it, but did it over. Oh and it gets better when I pulled the sample again it was clean. So please do a fluid sample check if you go here. Check your fluid before and after.

Asked for a high mileage oil change, charged me for synthetic oil. No explanation

Great people need another bay to work on cars and trucks

Serpentine drive belt broke on my sons 2000 Ford Crown Victoria -- hes stuck. Its a Saturday morning - called Midas and they had time to get him in. Pleasant, no problem, we can take care of it.The problem? OReilly charges $23 for a belt - Midas - $90!! bad idler pulley? no problem - OReilly - $17.50 - Midas - $70. 400% markup on the RETAIL price of the parts - surely they get them for less than retail?Total bill was $250 for a 30 minute installation of $50 worth of parts!Clearly, the Midas folks took advantage of the situation and marked up the repair significantly.If you have a choice - there are far better places in Hutch to get your car fixed. We were in a bind - they took advantage.

Great, awesome, super friendly. I was traveling through and had an issue with one of my tires. I went in 10 minutes before they closed... they greated me like it was midmorning and they were happy for another customer to arrive. Then they helped me out and got me on my way. They knew I was traveling through when I gave them my home address for the ticket and would likely not be back, but they treated me like I lived down the street and would see them every week. Great bunch of guys, totally recomend them. You may see this same review for this location elsewhere, because I am so pleased I am going to post it on other sites as well.
