I was looking for some where to get the oil change in my car and found them and they did a great job!! I was in and out in about 30 minutes. Great customer service! I wont go anywhere else. Anthony is friendly and very knowledgeable. I will be back for my state inspection.

The staff is always friendly, they are professional, the place is nice and clean, and you get a great value!They just replaced my outer tie rods, put on new front rotors and new brake pads, did a four wheel alignment, AND changed my oil for LESS than one of the big national chains wanted to charge just fix my tire rods and do a four wheel alignment.I recently moved to the metroplex. I left behind a long time mechanic who did all of my work. It’s hard to find a good garage that you can trust. I can’t tell you how glad I am to have found Hurst Lube and Mechanic!!

I took my car in for an electrical issue diagnostic.I asked that they call me when they figured out the problem so I could decide on my course of action.Instead of calling before repairs as requested, they ran up almost $1000 repair bill, then called me to pick up the car.Update: They called to argue with me about this review. Claiming they had permission to do the work. They did not. Lowered rating by one star.

Very pleased with services and prices. Took time to explain so I understand. Even informed of differences in product and costs.

Tried to get me to buy something not needed during routine state inspection. Went in after 8 a.m. for state inspection, and was told that the inspector doesnt come in til around 9. Returned after 9, inspection started, and the person who helped me{Anthony by name tag} said that I needed all new windshield wipers. This struck me as odd since the back wiper and passenger wiper were a couple of months old and the other was fine when I replaced the other two. I had them replace the {only} one that may have needed replacing, and did mention afterwards that I needed some work done on my vehicle but was concerned about their attempt to sell me more than was needed. He gave about 3 excuses for what was done, each of which was a benefit to the business but not for me, including well, wed have it in our records when they were changed last is an example. I would not take my car here for anything where there was a chance that they could upcharge the work, because it appears that it occurred in this instance, and if it happened over something this small, imagine what could happen on a big repair.*****On FB, he replied and seemed to purposely misunderstand and gave a long diatribe about windshield wipers. Fact is TWO OF THEM WERE FINE AND DID NOT NEED TO BE REPLACED OR THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT HAVE PASSED INSPECTION. One did need to be replaced but they tried to get me to have two other perfectly good wiper blades replaced for no reason. *************

Right from when I drove up I was helped right away the. I needed an oil change this was my first time coming here they were patient with me explained the prices to me and informed me what was the best oil for my car. On top of that they showed me how dirty my air filter was and that was great I really did appreciate that. The prices are amazing the inside is really nice, clean, and spacious. Would definitely recommend coming here.

I was very pleased with the service and the prices. The shop was very clean; it surprised me.The waiting area is very clean, comfortable, and inviting. Nice decor and couches with a pleasant video on in the background.I appreciate the extra effort by the technician to point out some minor things to be done. My a/c was broken and as soon as I walked into the shop I was helped right away. They replaced the a/c with in a matter of a couple of hours which was great because I thought I would have to leave my car over night or something. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Honestly you wont find a better place than here. Its been a couple of months since its been fixed and my a/c is still working great.

I inherited a car that needed a few things done. There are other auto shops in the area but they would give nebulous time frames for even a diagnostic. Hurst Lube & Mechanic was able to see me right away, and for parts they needed to order, they gave me a good ETA. All expectations of timeframe, quality, service, and price were met and in fact exceeded.

Always fast and friendly service. I can send my mom here and not worry about them cheating her or overcharging her. I am so glad to have found a mechanic I can trust!

Great prices but was charged for a filter that I didnt ask for. Went for a oil change only. Glad filter was replaced but would have been nice to have been asked if changing the filter would be okay. Was the only person there and took like 20 minutes to get oil changed. The mechanic broke my key and acted like nothing was wrong and then they tried to fix it but now it want close properly. They left a paper mat in the car instead of disposing it. Clean place but you cant see your car being worked on from the inside. Nice workers friendly and detailed with what the prices include.

I can finally feel comfortable going to a mechanic. I was treated respectfully and I got my car serviced in less than 20 minutes for a full service oil change and replacing the air filter. Clean facility with plenty of seating and a clean bathroom. Ill be back for my other mechanical needs. Great job Hurst Lube & Mechanic!

I write this as much for the owner or manager running this location, as I do for future guests. I called ahead and was told the price for standard oil change is 21 95. I arrived and said I wanted the 21.95 oil change and inspection. The owner says okay and immediately tells me the wipers are bad and will have to be replaced and hell replace them for $8. They are fraying slightly but still work but car will fail inspection. He conveniently sells wipers. I go to look at the wipers and he comes up and tells me the prices for each wiper. $8.99 and $10.99. (One is bigger) What happened to $8 I asked? It depends on the size he said. Okay.. Then, he comes and gets me to say I have a canister filter and it will be $12 for the filter. When I start to ask him questions about the filter because I want to understand, he started yelling and telling his employee to stop doing the oil change. I told him to calm down, Im trying to understand. He was rude. Pushy and impatient. Im a very patient man, and I can only imagine someone with a shorter fuse encountering him. We spoke again and I calmly told him its not personal, I only seek to know why the charge and why he said the filter will be no good once removed. He didnt like being questioned or having to explain anything. To his credit he said, I want all customers to return thats why I came and got you to tell you about the filter. The problem is his manner(s) and unwillingness to explain his reasoning, expecting you to not question. The mechanic shows me the filter and I agree to pay for a new one. I told him when most (good) oil places give you a price, thats the price including filter. I get that I have a canister that costs more. Moving on... I get my bill and its over $84. Theres a $3.00 shop supplies fee and $2.00 upcharge for more oil? I ask about the shop supply fee and he said, yes, its for shop supplies everyone is charged that. What a joke! And an extra $2.00 for more oil? Its a Kia sorento. So much for a $21.95 oil change. So overall, for my inspection new wipers and oil change, its not insane price. But clearly he gouges customers with markups. Hes rolling his eyes like this is how business is done. No, its the very reason I ask questions for guys who run businesses like this. Please work on how you speak to your customers. Due it with kindness, politeness, patience, understanding and respect. Also, if you say $21.95 for an oil change, people expect (sparing a special type of filter) to pay that amount, not ripping your customers off at checkout for shop supplies ( give me a break, what shop supplies) and extra charge for more oil! He also waits until you pay before he shows you your receipt. I honestly think the guy is in the wrong business. He shouldnt be interfacing with any customers. The one star is for the mechanic who actually did the inspection and oil change. He was polite, and answered my couple questions easily. Also, Mr owner, stop gouging and cheating customers with hidden fees. Its bad business. I wont be back ever.

They just bought the place and theyve done something with it. They have deals on basically any service you need for your car. And they beat every price in Hurst. Just picked up a used tire for 25 dollars and a full synthetic oil change for 55. Bring my car back next week to have them work on the brakes because its a third of the price compared to anywhere else. Inviting staff and mechanics who are willing to take you the truth and show you what there talking about.

Ive been there twice. First for an inspection and then again for an oil change. First of all, these guys are real quick in what they do! Second, their service is awesome! I am for sure gonna come here for any and all needs my car has. On top of that, theyre close to home for me!

Just dropped in randomly looking for a new mechanic and this place is new near my house. They are busting it here to earn business. Got to know the owner and he fixed this place up himself, very nice. They fixed all 4 tie rod ends and both sway bar links on my Suburban in a few hours, for under $400 out the door. Impressed. I hope you guys keep this up after you get busy, because youll definitely get busy if you keep working like this. Thanks!

Starter died on my van. These guys were great every step of the way and had me up and running the next day with a reasonably priced new starter. They are very pleasant to work with and what I was quoted was the exact cost of parts and labor at check out.

Theyre VERY HELPFULL I went in to get my sparkplugs and wires done and he took the time and showed me what everything did and how it works and even being short handed they got my car in and out in good time, I highly recommend and will be coming back
