Thank you to each of you and the help you provided ... from picking up our loved ones when they died to the final service. What a tough job...and you do it with loving kindness and compassion.You all are so good at what you do.We cannot say enough good things about Cheryce. She was WONDERFUL. She took care of us for all 3 of the funerals we had for loved ones in Feb, March and April. So appreciate her professionalism, efficiency and personal on hands care. She was there to make the arrangements, guide us and then hold our hands through out the services. Am so grateful she is the one who took my Mom to San Antonio for her inurnment. I needed her wonderful support one more time to make it through that service. Thank you for hiring people like her. Attended celebration of life today at Lucas Funeral Home Hurst Tx. The facility is beautiful. The director, Matthew is one of the kindest, personable, professional people I have ever met. His calm demeanor and gracious manner was welcome in our time of immense grief. Highly recommend this or Keller funeral home where Matthew is director.

Crystal was amazing and had a great professionalism to her. She really showed she cared for our loss and not just a business deal.She went up and beyond our contract and it goes without recognition and we really appreciate for all she did.

The staff is incredibly kind and compassionate. I didnt have to worry about a thing while grieving. They worked with my schedule and took great care of my loved one. Everyone was helpful and respectful. When I called, a real person was there to answer the phone, and my emails where answered quickly and efficiently. Even the man at the gravesite was very professional and patient. I am so grateful for this funeral home and highly recommend them.

This is my first google review ever. We started hospice service for my father in early Jan 2021 and hospice was asking me if I have funeral arrangement for my father, which got me start the planning. I thought I had lots of time. I did my research and called different funeral homes. But none of them was good enough for me to pull the trigger. I called Lucas Funeral Home one time but the person I talked to was slow in response. Someone mentioned Crystal Bovaird to me. So I called Lucas funeral home again and asked for Crystal on a Tuesday. Crystal was very transparent and customer oriented. She was thinking out of the box and created something that suit my needs and price expectation rather than trying to sell the package which I dont need most of the items. Crystal also offered corporate discount before I even asked. I am not a quick decision maker but I pulled the trigger right away on the phone and made an appointment with her to sign the document the next day. I was so glad I did that. The next morning my father passed away which was not expected. I did not know what to do and called Crystal. She calmed me down and told me what to do. She honored the deal. I met her in the afternoon to get the paperwork done. We had viewing the following week. Everything was arranged very well. What I want to say is that there are many funeral home. The services and prices are probably similar. It is Crystal that makes the difference in this case. If it werent for Crystal, I probably was still taking my time shopping around. Her transparency and honesty got me to seal the deal with her. Lucas service is good. Everything went well afterwards.

Lofty was easy to work with and did a great job of listening and then making recommendations. He made a difficult moment in my life easier.

Crystal and the folks at Lucas are wonderful. They took care of both of my parents in the last 3 years and our experience both times was excellent. We were treated like family. These are so difficult no matter what but when you have a Funeral Home doing whatever it takes to get you to the finish line it means everything. Covid19 caused so much stress with and unusual number deaths knocking down the doors of the Funeral Home it has to be exhausting. I could see in Crystal Bovairds exhaustion on her face on the day of. I only knew this because Id had the pleasure of meeting her months before. She was my rock since everyone in the family had Covid19 except me. We had to postpone the funeral for two weeks and she held me up and we marched on. I couldnt have landed in a better place and in the lap of of a better person. She was what I needed and she will be what you need too.

My grandfather passed away and from the moment I called him until the moment we drove away from the cemetery I felt like I didnt have to worry about anything. I worked with a funeral director whos name I cannot spell (Kitsie?) But she was fantastic. Caring, respectful, she did everything she could in our time of need, including letting us be a bit emotional.Big families are hard to deal with, but the funeral director and the staff were excellent.Thank you for taking care of Tom Large for us.

When my husband passed in February it was a little unexpected. After we called a few places we choose Lucas because of their friendly staff and the cost. I will never regret that decision. Jenna was awesome. She answered all my questions. She didn’t pressure me into buying expensive flowers or casket. When we made changes she jump right on it. The day of visitation she was there to make sure my husband looked good and everything in the room was presentable. Above all the thing that sticks with me the most is when we got to the cemetery Jenna gently took my hand and guided me to where I needed to sit and she made sure I was ok.I highly recommend Alyssa Funeral Home.

When my mother passed a few weeks ago, Lucas Funeral Homes and Jenna Vanloon were extremely respectful and patient and kind. Im the only surviving member of my family, so I had to make all of the arrangements on my own. For the past several decades, all of my family members, as each one passed away, has been buried by this wonderful group of professionals. Jenna Vanloon was a wonderful person to work with. She was sensitive to my needs and went out of her way to make the process as easy as possible. I had lost my husband of almost 44 years. She gently guided me through all of the details with Lucas.

My Son in Law passed away suddenly in April and Lucas Funeral home was there and provided excellent service.All the staff and special kudos to Jenna who was there for the family providing excellence service with a caring attitude. Services are adequate. I wish that they knew enough to dim the lights more, for slide shows. One set of perimeter lights dimmed, would be sufficient for anyone who needs to walk in or out,during the last presentation of a person’s life. I have attended at least three services here in the last few years.

Jenna assisted us with the funeral arrangements for my mom. I cannot say enough wonderful things about her. Her compassion and gentle direction helped us make decisions during a very difficult time. Her presence at the different parts of the process brought me great comfort. In an unexpected way, she became a family member, as she held our hand through a very painful process. I recently lost the love of my life and could not have asked for a more kind, professional group to care for my beloved. Mr. Lucas picked up my husband from the local hospital. He treated us with the utmost respect and compassion. He allowed us as much time as we needed to say our goodbyes . He had tears in his eyes as the family gathered around my darling husband. I later learned he himself experienced a great loss just before my husband had passed and understood that our brokenness. He and Jenna handled our loved one and all of us as if we were their own family. I could never say or do enough to show my gratitude. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all you have done. Jenna and the staff at Lucas are so amazing! They made an unbearable situation bearable when my mom passed away. Jenna was an absolute dream! She paid attention to every detail and was incredibly genuine and caring!

A good place to say goodbye to a love one. We were late getting out after service, due to all the break downs. They didnt heard us out they let us stay and console each other, they were very patient with us.

Jenna helped us make arrangements when my brother in law passed away recently. She was wonderful to work with and I cant thank her enough for her guidance and compassion.

Lucas is very nice a great place for such a somber occasion but staff is very curtious and professional to the core my grandaddy passed away in 99 and jim helped make my grandfathers funeral spectacular if i could give higher than 5 stars i would my family has used them several times never nothing but the best thx lucas

My dad passed away Jan 16 and from the beginning to finish Lucas was nothing but professional in every step of the way .Even during visitation staff came by and checked on us to see if we needed anything and even played with our grand kids .When I came by to pick up my dads ashes they y hugged me and talked to me like they have known me all my life .
