Mark G. was very respectful by reading the requested services attached to the notes. With decades of experience he provided a profession consultation and we created a plan for a hair style cut (layers) and blow and dry out services. During the process he was very comforting and educational about hygiene, health, and hair. I thank you so much Mark for the extra effort in sharing your professional knowledge and being very professional for the 90mins of service you provided. I had an amazing experience with Megan C! I loved how patient and attentive she was. Hands down the best hair salon I’ve ever been to! I got a money piece and curtain bangs and they turned out great.

She addressed all my concerns & issues from my review below.. 😊😢😢 09/08/21: Appointment for Shampoo & Cut with Mark. He was not interested at all about cutting my hair. Rolled his eyes at one point. Failed to shampoo my hair. Didnt cut my hair at all how I wanted it. Failed to shave my neck. Left scissor lines and long strands of hair in the back. It looks like I cut it myself. I have never had a hair cut in 20 minutes. I am so upset. Then he tells me $15 but charges my card $25. This needs to be fixed.My hair. My neck. My charge.Dont cut hair if you are not interested at all in how your client wants it. Dont attempt to cut a certain way if you have no clue how to cut it that way.

My experience at the Lemon Tree hair salon was hands down the greatest! The salon is very clean. The customer service was great. I would recommend this salon for both childrens cuts and the ladies.Ariel aka the Color Queen did an amazing job on my hair! She is very friendly I was very comfortable through the entire process. I went in for an eyebrow wax and a haircut. The haircut was fine, but the eyebrow waxing left me a little scarred. (Literally...) The young woman who did my eyebrows was very sweet and kind. Unfortunately she didnt give me her name. Everything went smoothly up until the end. She was finishing up and putting the cooling oil on to sooth the redness when my eyebrow began to burn. It hurt so bad. I should have said something then and there but I am not one to complain typically. It was when i got to my car and started backing out that I noticed a red line that looked like a cut just under my eyebrow. I honestly dont know what happened. She didnt cut me because I would like to think that I would notice that. I went home and the pain was gone. Until I went to bed. When I laid on my right side, if my pillow touched the area it hurt all over again. Perhaps it is just a very sensitive area, I dont know but it hurt. I dont believe I will be going back to this salon. It was only my second time there but it left a bad taste in my mouth. Whatever happened, I hope it heals up soon. If the young woman who did my eyebrows that day is reading this, its nothing personal. I just dont understand what happened. Ive never had an issue like this before.

Warning: Please don’t come to this place!!Me and my parents came to the salon and told Megan for my hair to get straightened and have layers. She cut tips of my hair and made them too uneven to what I’ve wanted. Me and Megan walk up to my parents to see if my parents would like the results of how it looks like. She discussed to my parents of how “layering her hair does not work since she has different texture of hair and does not work on her hair”. She began saying to us to “come back and I promise that it will work the next day”. She even told us that we have to pay first and we come back tomorrow. so we had to come back the next day, 50 minutes of driving. We come back, she tries to fix my hair again, and it did not work once again. My parents were frustrated and told Megan to give us our money back right now. After then, she’s only given us $50 back. (Although, $275 is too much for straightening and doing layers for my hair..). But as a reminder, please do not come to this place, Megan has done a very bad job to my hair and my mom says “she did not have any experience!!! 12 years and she is still a bad experience!!”

I wasnt happy with my last salon so I decided to look for a new salon. I searched online and found Lemon Tree Salon and based on the reviews I thought I would give them a try. My daughter was the first one to try it. I walked in on a Saturday afternoon and Megan was the stylist to cut her hair. My daughter was so happy with her shoulder length cut. Her hair is thick and curly. Shes a teenager and is very hard to please. Needless to say Megan will be her stylist from now on. I then decided to give the salon a try. My hair is fine, thin and 100% gray and every salon Ive tried cant get the color right. The stylist I used before always touched up my roots and my hair looked washed out and with my skin color my style looked dull and boring. I consulted with Megan and we agreed to a new root touch-up color which is darker than I normally get. I wasnt sure about how I felt but Megan assured me it would look much better. She was right I love the new color. Megan will be my new stylist and Lemon Tree will be my new salon. Lemon Tree Salon is so vibrant and a happy place I feel comfortable and at home. Plus you cant beat the prices and the quality products used.

I went last year for the first time to get my hair colored in a very very long time. I went in with boxed colored black hair wanting to get it lightened to color it salt and pepper and ended up with a bleach blond very damaged hair. I have been giving them multiple opportunities to fix my hair and I never walked out of there with the style that I want. The manager is awesome and she tries her best but I am never completely satisfied when I leave there so I will not be going back again.

I did Japanese hair straightening. She was in a hurry dealing with others in between the time I was scheduled for. My hair is very rough to touch and the hair is supposed to be smooth and silky with the Japanese straightening. I have already done this straightening thrice at some other salons so it’s not something new to my hair. This time I wanted to try here and that’s my worst decision. I had to deal with tangles in the crown area . Spent 310$. Please stay away and don’t sign the papers before asking them about the refund policy if it’s a bad outcome.

Booked an appointment online - same day which was really convenient. very cute salon everyone was super friendly and made me feel welcome. I had a highlight/lowlight haircut and blow dry from Tara who did an absolutely incredible job. Highly recommend her - my hair looks beautiful and very natural. she was meticulous and professional. I will be a repeat customer and referring everyone I know. I saw several haircuts and colors while mine was being done, all of them top notch.

I love this place! Such great friendly and bright atmosphere. I felt like I was hanging out with good friends. Tara did a great color match on my hair. Lemon Tree was amazing! After my friend came down with Covid and cancelled my daughters appointment, Megan got her in same day for a spiral perm. Mark was our stylist and he did an amazing job and was very professional. My daughters hair came out looking exactly like what we asked for and we couldnt be happier with Marks work or the service we received. We drove an hour to this salon and it was worth every penny. Will not recommend for anyone to come do any hair coloring services i went in and they told me they could do what i wanted they guaranteed me a time which I kept on asking I could return another day if job would take longer they insisted I stay. Half off my hair felt out and went I went back to talk to Megan they informed me she wasnt there I would get a call same day no one reached out to me . Made me sign a paper no refunds but still assured me everything would be ok i have pictures and my hair is completely destroyed :( I am very disappointed in how they didnt even seem to care

Got a few inches cut off my hair by Mark. He did great and only took about 10 mins from the time I walked in the door. I didnt want to pay $40+ at a salon for a basic womens haircut so I decided to try this place out and Im glad I did!

Im a little late with my review but I love this place and I love Mark. Mark took me by the hand and made my first experience having highlights ...of any color and I got Blue! He made me feel so relaxed and comfortable and let me say i was there 6 hours! I didnt even care because he did such an awesome job on my hair. I got my hair cut here yesterday, I called beforehand to ask if they do razor layers.. They said yes so I made the appt. Worst haircut of my life. I explained what I wanted and even showed a reference pic. She doesnt even wet my hair before proceeding to twirl my hair and start taking the razor to it. It was so painful I had tears in my eyes. She had no clue what she was doing. I ended up with basically a mullet. All my hair is chopped and gone. Months before I can grow back out to redo. TERRIBLE!

This was by far one of the best salons I have been to. I came looking to change my hair color from a brunette to a blonde balayage. The woman who styled my hair, Ariel, knew exactly what I wanted and helped me come up with final decisions regarding color and cut and I could not be happier. The salon was very clean, the women who worked there were very nice, and the color came out perfect. It’s exactly what I wanted and at a good price.

2 more hairdressers that dont listen to how you want your hair. We showed them pictures and explained in detail and they over cut both our hair. Too short and too thin.

It has been a couple of months since I got a haircut. I did a walk in for my haircut. I got in quick. The place was very clean. Everyone had masks on that made me feel safe. Ariel cut my hair. I look back to normal again, she did a great job. I would be back again.

If you have an expectation for your hair stylist do not come here. I am new to the area and was looking for a new stylist. I read the reviews and booked an appointment with Megan. I am horrified.1. I am uncomfortable with product pushing. Ive had my hair done for decades. I am aware of what product I need, what hair color I want, and how it should be styled. If you offer me a product and I decline that should be the end of the conversation. She kept trying to push product on me and then casually mentioned the additional costs.2. The level of professionalism and skill was amateur. I have reasonable expectations of a veteran stylist and none of these were met. Expectations such as round brushing when you blow dry hair, putting color protector so I dont leave with dye on my face, and being able to cut hair evenly despite the hair texture.3. I was also made uncomfortable with her reprimanding an employee openly in front of me, the customer, and then participating in negative conversation about another employee that was not present. If she is indeed the owner, this is a poor display of her leadership.3. In addition, when it was aparent I was unhappy with the result of her carelessly chopping up my hair. She blamed it on the waviness of my hair and then offered to fix it at additional cost.I will not even go back to have her fix it because I dont want her near my hair. Now I have to find and pay another stylist to fix my hair because it is choppy and uneven. The worst part of it is that I am going to have to cut my long hair to match the short layers that she chopped up.

This is a hidden gem! I’ve been to a lot of other, much more expensive hair stylists that don’t compare to this salon. I really appreciate that they take their time and pay attention to the details. Megan, the owner, is an incredibly friendly person as well as a talented stylist. I’d recommend this place to anyone!

I had really struggled with finding a place that was affordable but also did a great job in the mid-cities area. In the past, I went to high-end salons in uptown Dallas and in Southlake and would spend a small fortune and not get what I wanted. I saw the good reviews for Lemon Tree and thought I would try it.Megan did a great job on my hair. She convinced me to do a Japanese Perm, which I had never heard of prior and honestly thought was a scam, but it worked! Look at my before and after! Its been 6 weeks and my hair is still straight.In the morning, I lightly blow dry my hair and it air dries during my commute. The rest of the day, it looks great! Its not frizzy or poofy. Even on humid days, my hair is tamed. If I want it to be pin straight, I will blow dry it and use a straightener for a few small areas, but overall my morning routine has definitely improved!Megan also did a wonderful job with picking out a hair color for my request of kinda red but kinda brown and not too purple and knowing exactly what I wanted.

I wanted to cut my hair real short and dye it orange for fall. I got it done by Ariel and she did an incredible job. I would definitely see her again.

I came in this morning extremely nervous because I knew with how badly color damaged my hair was I was going to have to get it cut pretty short. My stylist Hiymo was so amazing! She was reassuring and talked to me throughout the whole process! My hair came out better than I could have imagined. I don’t remember her name but I think she’s from India, she didn’t want to blow dry my hair because is curly and takes effort to do it so she used a flat iron causing a tremendous damage to my hair plus she made me sign a document before coloring in case I don’t get the desired color which I didn’t get so I couldn’t complain afterwards.

Megan has colored and cut my hair for approximately a year. She is by far, the best stylist Ive ever had. She takes the time to make sure the color and cut are just right. It is very easy for me to style my hair at home because every strand falls into place beautifully. She also gives me great advice on hair care. Products she has recommended have done wonders for both texture and shine. Prices are also very reasonable!

I visited this salon today and am very pleased with the service I got. I love my hair color and haircut. All staff here are nice and friendly. They suggested a Japanese straightening perm so I don’t have to straighten my hair often..... my hair is wavy.... I am thinking of getting a straightening perm next time.
