We had hail damage from a recent storm. Our Allstate representative helped us assess the value of the damage and they issued a check very quickly. We were then able to engage a contractor who scheduled us in time to complete the work before another storm came through. We still have a few items left to finish with one of the subs, but Allstate came through for us without a lot of delays.

Experience: I have requested renters policy quotes for both my sons apartment. Both policy had same coverage, same location & yet different premium amount. No one can explain why the difference. There should be logical explanation.Also, person who gave us quote was no longer working with your agency but it was not communicated to me. So I was sending all my communication to her email ID but no response. So when I called office, I was told she is not working. Suggestion let customer know when staff changes, cancel his/email address so we dont send personal information to that individual, & last but least assign his/her customer to other agent & let that new agent reach out to customers & introduce her or himself.Thanks for my opinion & continue to provide superior service. All has been good with this provider until I filled two claims this winter. My agent pushed me off to the claims department who did a very poor job navigating me through this process. I am very disappointed at this point.

Claims experience and process is questionable. All roofs on my street replaced because of hail and windstorm. Literally next door. Not Allstate. They said my roof is fine. This is not a miracle of sorts. I will need to pursue further. Rates continue to rise however. Premium has doubled in 4 years even with clean loss history. When I called the agency to address these concerns. No call back. Partner elsewhere. Insurance is a partnership in protecting your family and investments. When insurers fails to advocate on your behalf, lack of trust soon follows which is where I am now.Quick to take a reactive approach of calling to see what could have been done better. The old saying goes, service your customer before your competitor does.Disappointing, I expected more from such a trusted brand.
