Can I just say that Austin and the folks at Sunny Services EXCEEDED my expectations! From the initial appointment (very convenient to schedule online and attach photos/videos) to the A/C repair, everything was top notch! Austin kept us in constant contact with what needed to be done and the timeline for completion. They found a hard to find compressor and had it delivered and installed in 2 days. Water was dripping from the indoor unit of my old A/C, so I called Sunny Services. Austin is a real nice guy. He got here even earlier than the appointment time and took care of the condensate drain line issue. I liked that he put plastic covers over his shoes before entering my condo. In addition to making the diagnosis, he also pointed out with a flashlight that my air exchanger coil has a growth on it, years of grime, etc, and needs a good cleaning at the very least. We discussed also the option of replacement of the entire indoor unit and approximate prices, both with and without replacing the outdoor unit (compressor). At my request he made an appointment for me on the spot with a systems design person, who could give me estimates on new parts and labor and tell me different options I could go with(and for that 2nd visit I was not charged). That design specialist guy was Todd, and he was also real nice and helpful.

The company was very responsive and quick. Tim was friendly and transparent with information. The Unit had froze over and Tim was able to fill up the Freon and explain further options. I would recommend Tim and Sunny Service to others

I would highly recommend Sunny Service to anyone! My technician (Mason) did an amazing job!—Mason is very knowledgeable, skilled and compassionate. He explained everything before he did the work as well as after the installation was complete. Now let me explain how this company, and specifically Mason went above and beyond to get the job done. I live in an older home and everyone knows older homes come with some surprises. As Mason was installing the unit there was some difficulty with the inside closet due to some makeshift fixing by the previous owners which required Mason to have to come up with a way to get the new unit to fit correctly. In a sense it was almost like getting a square peg to fit in a round hole, but Mason Amazingly managed to get everything in properly. I would say he is a puzzle master because it definitely took some extra work. Another thing I want to point out is that we have 3 dogs in our home and Mason and his assistant Alfonzo went above and beyond to try and make sure that we were capable of taking the dogs in and out for potty breaks, even if it meant having to ask them to stop briefly. I can say that a lot of technicians would not do this. This company is not a get in and get out type of company. They truly care about their customers. Sunny Service has a customer for life and will definitely be my go-to for all of my future AC/Heating needs! Called late afternoon thinking Id get the answering service. Nope, they answered the phone and scheduled service first thing the following morning. Tim came out as promised, diagnosed the problem, but had issues finding parts during the Covid era. However Tim and Justin keep looking and working. They located the motor the same afternoon. It was the only motor that currently existed in the Great State of Texas that would fit in my unit. Sunny picked the motor up when that warehouse opened, came to my house, fixed the A/C and now me, the wife and dogs will sleep in a cool house tonight thanks to Tim and Justin. I have used Sunny Service a handful of times over the years, most recently to replace our AC unit, redo all of our duct work and add insulation to our home. I cannot say enough good things about our experience - from Tim who came to diagnose our issue, to Todd who quoted our job to the crew they sent to install our AC, everyone was knowledgeable, kind and responsive. I especially appreciate the crew they sent to install the new AC. We’ve had a lot of work done on our house over the past year and this was by far the most hard working crew I’ve seen. Brandon was great! He not only helped me with my thermostat install, he helped me with my HVAC. Super knowledgeable! He was able break it down to where I could understand it.My issue is really with Home Advisor. I specifically asked to be paired with a company who had experience with my particular smart thermostat. Brandon hadn’t really dealt much with my type of smart thermostat. Ultimately, I had to find a YouTube video to help him finish the install. The whole point of hiring a someone is because you don’t want to or can’t do something. Home Advisor is just trying to make money.Having said that, I really liked Brandon. I will be using him for future HVAC service.

Replace a 19-year-old unit with a Lennox AC (4 ton) and furnace. The air temperature inside my home is now amazing . The crew at Sunny Service did an amazing install to get the new system up and running in late July in Texas when the temperature was 102 with a heat index of 108. Cleaned up inside and out along with hauling off the old system and component. The difference in air comfort and the low noise of the new compressor is night and day compared to the old unit that I replace. For now, extremely happy. I explored other HVAC manufactures and installation companies but settle with this company as a result of a program with a local store.

The overall process was excellent. From scheduling the appointment for the estimate to replace the system to actually having the system replaced. I chose Sonny Service, for heating and ac maintenance, because of their stellar customer reviews. Soon after the technician, Jon de la Rosa arrived, I realized that I made the right choice! He was very courteous, professional, and sincere. We have a 21 year old unit, so I knew that there are probably some issues that aren’t obvious and detectable. After a very thorough, and explained diagnostic, Jon explained and showed me a few issues with my ac unit. But, he DID NOT try to pressure me into very costly repairs! He laid out options that ranged from very conservative to more extensive. Since my unit is 21 years old, and will probably have to be replaced in the coming year or years, I chose the conservative route. Jon agreed with my decision, which gave me some confidence and peace of mind! When an eminent unit replacement is needed, hopefully not for a while, I will definitely be calling a trustworthy and respected company, Sunny Service!

Our A/C started having problems during the heat of August. We called Sunny Svcs, and they were able to get a tech to us in about 1 hour. Very please with Sunny Service. My tech’s name was Austin. Very polite, clarified all my questions and gave me good suggestions to consider. No heavy sales pitch. He was on time and got right to work and was very professional and neat. He cleaned up after he worked in several areas of the house. My father in law first used this group a few months ago and Austin keeps the tradition alive with his spirit and professionalism. Very satisfied.

Brandon went above and beyond clearing a clogged AC drain line for me. After getting it cleared, he noticed there was still a minor restriction that may cause me issues shortly down the road. He dug into the issue more and found a plumbing problem. He then went above and beyond to repair the poor plumbing design to ensure we didn’t have problems for a long time.

Crew and sales were informative and friendly. I just ended up going with a more affordable option.

Our A/C went out in the August heat and Sunny Svcs arrived in less than 2 hours after we called them. The needed parts were available at the supply shop, and they had us up and running again in just a few hours. I write this review as a very satisfied customer. We have used Sunny Service for our HVAC needs for about two years now. Their service techs have always been professional, responsive, good quality and value and on time. In the two year period we have never had the same tech twice, but the service has always been quality and professional. This most recent service was to give our AC units their pre-summer check-up. Nick took the time he needed to check each unit and answered unit and thermostat questions in a manner that was easy to understand and apply to our system. Being that we have a service contract with them, a unit that needed repair cost us only a quarter of the cost that we would have paid if we did not have a service contract with them.

All steps outlined by the project manager (Brendon), who always answered his phone to answer my questions, were carried out. The installation crew (Mason and Luis) did a super-clean job. They minimized their interference with the client, completed the job quickly, and answered the many questions I had about warranties and included service. Mason and Luis gave me specific suggestions about filters and ongoing maintenance. All three were outstanding.No problems here. This company seems to be VERY well managed, which makes my job that much easier.
