We only had one weekend to look at houses, so he gave up all of his Saturday to drive me around looking at the houses I wanted to see and the houses he thought fit our criteria. He never tried to sway us one way or another, but did offer his knowledgeable advice about the houses and the area. Once we decided on a house he was great at getting us a really good deal. Most realtors would have said because it was a brand new house we should just pay the asking price, but he did his research and decided it was slightly overpriced. In addition to getting the asking price lowered, he was also able to convince the builder to add on about $6,000 worth of upgrades. Mike kept our interests above his and was always willing to help us. He kept in touch with us throughout the whole project and has still touched base with us to make sure everything is still going alright. He is incredibly professional and great to work with. My husband and I highly recommend him if you are looking for a realtor.

My wife and I were looking to put our home in Harvest on the market because we needed a little more square footage and we desperately needed to find a home (or build) in Southeast Huntsville. We entertained the idea of listing our home without a realtor, but then a couple of our friends told us about Mike. Have used RE/Max with agent Mike Manosky twice. First when I bought a lovely home in Hunstville in 2001. Took Mike 1.5 days to show us approx. 30 homes, all were a match to our interest. (And we enjoyed the BMW Sport Ute he squired us around in...) Ended up with two beauties... One had a view out back of a dozen other back porches... but from a lovely, Redwood under/over/sides porch. Other had a view of a 1/2-mile-long pond and two 20 acre horse pastures. Guess which one we bought! Lived in that home, in Brownsboro, for 11 years, after a smooth, seamless purchase. I have known Mike for over 10 years. I was in the military and stationed in Japan in 2008 when I received orders to go to Alabama. I searched online for a home to buy and found one that was about to be built in a new subdivision. I then searched for a realtor in Alabama, and I chose Mike over a field of over 100 realtors that I reviewed. We are a military family and just purchased the home remotely and it would not have happened without Mikes skill and attention to detail. For 2 days I viewed dozens of homes and after about the 5th Mike knew what we were looking for and helped us locate the candidates. I had a whole list from Mike and other sources like Trulia/Zillow but without his input and counsel we would not have found good candidates inside my time window.Once I identified the home Mike was great in helping place an offer. He knew all the local aspects and the neighborhoods very well and made sure my impatience didnt kill the deal too early. It was tough negotiations and Mike helped the deal along in every way possible. I dont think I would have secured such a good value without him (which is important since we move every 3-4 years.)Even with all he did up to that point, Mike really shined in the period leading up to the closing. He provided great checklists and to-dos with options for all the contacts that are needed to make the deal final. He attended the inspections for me since we are still in Boston and only planned to fly down for the closing. In order to get a really good rate I unfortunately needed to let the lender pick the title company and that was a huge mistake. They were not that responsive nor familiar with the local requirements so Mike stepped in to make sure everything when well; you would have thought he was the selling agent, the buying agent and the closing attorney in one. He did more than his share of the extra work (like correcting HUD mistakes) since he knew that anything that went wrong that day would damage the experience for all irrespective of who was at fault.Moving so much we have experienced several real estate agents and Mike is head and shoulders above the others; Im a tough guy to please but I could not be happier with his service and recommend him to anyone local or remote like ourselves.
