Had a hearing test done. I hed to have some hearing aids. Highly recommend!
I was thoroughly pleased with the Doctors and staff of Hearing & Speech. They were professional, very courteous, helpful in testing and describing results, and then in fitting and selection of hearing aids. I would highly recommend them for hearing assistance. (Connie Hathcock)
This clinic is basically a scam. They advertise that they accept BCBS, but fail to tell you when you make your appointment or even you go for your visit, that they are not BCBS approved. Therefore the charges (which are excessive by comparison to other providers) will not be covered by most insurances. The primary focus of their business is to sell the expensive hearing aids. They provide no literature for you to read, review, and compare. The equipment they use appears to be decades old and in poor shape, showing rust and old technology. Their exam takes only a few minutes and then its the sales pitch. When I received their bill, I noticed that they had not filed both of my insurances. I called and asked them to file my secondary and was told that they would and to ignore the bill until they had heard from secondary. According to BCBS they never filed, but were quick to send another statement marked past due.If you are serious about your hearing, and want an up-to-date, comprehensive exam; there are many providers that will supply one, the hearing and speech clinic will not.Costco provides a 2 hour exam free of charge to their members.
Got me in on time and took care of business.
When there, I was treated with care and consideration.
