I dropped off my working laptop for a keyboard replacement. Five days later I was called & told my laptop was stuck in bios & windows wasn’t loading. When I picked it up I was told there was a motherboard issue & charged for diagnostics. Basically I paid them to break my laptop.This Laptop was working with an external keyboard the day I dropped it off & only showing it needed a new battery. I assume they damaged the motherboard while trying to install the keyboard. If you take anything to them VERIFY your computers condition Before you leave it with them. Better yet take it somewhere else if u need a hardware repair.

I have been going to DTM computers for a very long time. A few days ago I went to purchase a few computer parts I needed to build my pc the experience was fine until one of the parts was damaged because it was a used piece and I had to return it. Sam the store owner proceeded to lecture me about computer misuse and accused me of inducing damage to part, when the part was already use with signs of use. He said, he tested the part and assured me it was good. I went home happy and then ran into a problem of not been able to boot the machine and had no other choice but to return it. He was angry, argued with me back and forth and refused to refund me what I payed for the board. I really regret buying from him. I should had purchase from a legitimate store where if a problem rises I will be able to return what I bought. He was very unprofessional and rude because he believes to know everything there is about computers, and that the person buying the product is completely ignorant. He overcharged me for the board like it was new and checked on the price for the board online it was only 94 dollars from the 120$ he charged me. I feel cheated, embarrassed, and insulted by the way he treated me. I will never do business with him again it was totally uncalled for and he should had taken responsibility for the damaged part and gave me what I payed for the board. He would not stop lecturing nor give money back for a defective product.

I have been using DTM Computer for about 15 years . They have built my last two computers and do all of my repairs. You can pick out your case and they will work with you and recommend the parts that you need for what you do to make the fastest most economical computer to fit your needs and expand them later if you need more. They will take the parts you pick and build it for now additional cost. The best part is that you dont have to deal with the big companies for OEM parts as they use standard parts and you always have a place to get repairs. They will back up and save your data and reload it after repairs are done. Sam Wang the owner will stand behind their repairs. The tech support guys are friendly and will do whatever it takes to make sure you are happy. I have sent several friends to DTM and they have been returning for their needs. They have good used and refurbished computers for low prices. I dont go anywhere else and about ready to get my third computer built there.

I highly recommend DTM Computers for any repair or support. We’ve been going to Sam and Nancy Hong for years. Professional, VERY reasonable, and willing to think outside the box. I bought an external hard drive from them a couple years ago. We lost the power cord in our move. I couldn’t find a replacement anywhere online. Anyway, their tech went through all his left over cords drawer and found one that matched. He said it costs too much to buy a universal cord. When I went to check out the low price just blew me away! I’m so thankful to have access to my pictures again! DTM is located off University near UAH. Thank you, DTM!

Highly RECOMMEND DTM!!!!Had a service contract with Best Buy. Took my computer to BB to be fixed. BB sent it OUT to be fixed. A month later got a call stating BB couldnt fix my computer and they were sending it back. I will NEVER get a contract with BB again.The day I got my computer back I took it to DTM. DTM had my computer fixed and back to me within 2 days!!! Employees are friendly and helpful. They even backed up my computer as part of their service. Will DEFINITELY go back, if I ever need their service again!!

Unsatisfactory. I went there trying to get the bios updated on my motherboard and when I walked in I told the guy thats what I needed done. He told me that it would be 49 to 59 dollars. I had to go to work later so I asked my girlfriend to pick the computer up. She picked it up and I asked how much it was and she told me it was 69 dollars. I looked at the receipt and it was. I then proceeded to go look at the computer and it had a giant scratch down the glass panel on it. I was very upset with that because the case was 90 dollars. I went back and had to settle for 35 dollars back out of the 69 dollar bill because the guy there was difficult to work with and I had to get back to work. Not only was my girlfriend taken advantage of but so was I. I also made sure I asked my girlfriend before I left that she didnt put the scratch on there and she said she saw it when they were checking her out at the front counter but she did not know if I had done it or if they did it. This was my first gaming computer so I made sure it was perfect the entire way there and when i dropped it off. I wanted it to be perfect considering I spent so much money and time doing everything leading up to that point. It was not and I am very unhappy.

I dealt with Brian - and he was awesome. Daughter spilled water on her Lenova laptop which we bought at Best Buy 1.5 yr ago. The laptop wouldnt come on afterward (ugh). She took it to Best Buy in her college town who shipped it off to their repair center. After many attempts to get them to respond they finally did and said the repair would be $450...FIVE or SIX weeks after initially taking the laptop to Best Buy they said they couldnt get the parts and shipped it back to me (after a $70 original charge). I took the laptop to DTM and Brian immediately noticed the power chord was UNDERRATED AND THERE WAS ACTUALLY a sticker on the chord that said NOT MEANT FOR LAPTOPS. This was the power chord that BEST BUY SPECIFCALLY sold my daughter a year ago when the original chord stopped working. I bought a properly rated chord (NOT from Best Buy) and went back to DTM/Brian to try it out. Lo and Behold it fired up immediately.

I have been purchasing computers and parts from DTM since the store first opened. Sam is the first person I call when I need local parts. I am a Network Admin, and for many years ran a small MSP company (outside IT support for small companies). When customers wanted a local store that had quality parts to purchase (as well as cheaper stuff) that would not mark up everything to outrageous margins, I would always send them to Sam. He has been in the business for a long time, and knows what he is talking about. If you go in, you are not going to talk to a glorified sales person who does not know what they are talking about, you are going to talk to someone who has years of knowledge and has many, many times taken the time to answer questions or let me poke around a product to make sure it is exactly what I, or my end user wants. Not many businesses / people are willing to do that anymore. For that reason, I always go to DTM if I am buying local. In addition, he has some parts that other local shops dont carry. If I had one complaint, I wish he had more variety in the motherboards and cases and small stuff like that. It is a very small complaint though!

If I didnt own a computer repair shop myself, this is where I would take my computers. The technicians are experienced and know what theyre doing.

Ive worked in IT for 23 years and now own my own consulting firm. I have never had my machine worked on by anyone else, Im extremely protective of my data (and my clients). Because of a time crunch, I had to let a shop replace my failing hard drive on my work laptop. The first shop I called was rude and talked down to me like I was an idiot. I called DTM and they were extremely professional. They got me up and running, moved all my old data, all at a very reasonable price and I am EXTREMELY satisfied. I would not hesitate to use them again. They are a class act and treat customers with respect.

Very kind people, the clerks were nice, my parents recommended it to me and so I went. They fixed the initial problem, but a couple of days afterwards my computer completely blue screened me. Now boot config data is missing. When the problem was literally physical. Nothing to do with the abstract workings of the laptop. Im just a little upset I paid the amount of money I did only to have them create an even bigger problem with my laptop.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Although I had used the technically unsatisfactory, over-priced repair service before, I was stupid enough to give them further business. For simply reloading an operating system (which I could have done myself for free) they charged me $78. BUT -- many of my costly software programs were deleted, and multitudes of files. This was bad enough, but they LIED about NOT deleting programs and files even when I proved them liars to their damn faces. I DID demand (and get) a full refund, but it will cost much more than $78 to replace the proprietary software programs and many of the deleted files were information I needed and CANNOT get back. These people, Sam and Brian and the other dork, are INCOMPETENT LIARS and THIEVES . Go ANYWHERE ELSE for computer repair.
