I’d rate this dealership as Good. The positive about the dealership and salesman was very respectful and easy going. The negative thing I have to say about it is the website pricing for the car I purchased went up $1K when the paperwork was provided. The dealership took off $500 dollars but the environment felt uneasy at that time and things slowed down tremendously. They didn’t try to honor the actual internet price and I did not want to stay all day for $500 differential knowing they were not going to go down to the original price.Overall a good experience!

I would give no stars if it was a possibility.The fuel door on my car randomly wouldn’t open, causing me to be stranded at gas stations, I work second shift so I often found myself alone at night stranded, having to call someone to help me, I dropped my car off and they informed that it was “fixed”, I came to pick it up, checked it and before even turning my car on discovered that it had not been fixed at all. Nothing had been done. The issue still persisted.So now I’ve been without my vehicle for what will be 5 days and still no results and being lied too.

The car buying experience here was so much nicer than other places in Huntsville. Our sales associate, René Conaway, was so helpful and kind while we looked for a vehicle. He actually helped us find exactly what we needed and didn’t put any pressure on us to rush into a purchase without considering what we really wanted or liked about a vehicle. Super pleasant experience! Would definitely recommend for a vehicle!
The repair was completed, however the estimated time for the repair took longer than provided. Also, the total repair cost was about $80 more than the estimate I was given after the vehicle diagnoses. I will have to bring my vehicle back for additional service because the Service Engine Soon light has been activated again.
Dealer Jesse James (middle-aged guy with a big beard) is an absolute shark. Theres really no way around it. I visited with my partner a second time since the first time around he seemed genuine and honest. However, this time, when we came in to shop, he repeatedly refused to let us see their complete inventory, decided ahead of time what car HE wanted us to get, and kept disappearing to go talk to others instead of us. First thing he did upon us entering his office was for him to take our keys and disappear. Second thing when he returned, was to run our credit. I refused, asking to see our options. HE refused. He seemed impatient, dismissive, and irritable, nothing like the first meeting.We never went out on the lot. We never got to talk about our options. I didnt want a *brand new* car, and he knew that, and I didnt want to pay over a long period of time, and *he knew that.* Nonetheless, he rejected my arguments about what kind of purchase was in my comfort zone, and told me everything else on the lot was junk. It was gray or white. Those were my choices. I told him color was not my priority.He left again with my keys and came back to tell me my car had mechanical issues, and said, Did you know? Did you? Did you know? I said I had suspected it, and he left the room again a moment later.When he returned the final time, I was not given any option for lender (such as my own bank). I was not given any say on my own budget. He told me I made poor life choices because I purchased a temp car to get to and from work (it got me where I needed to, didnt it?) When I calculated the financing option he offered and refused as it was *excessively* over budget (I said $10,000, the total after a 72-month loan was $22k), Jesse raised his voice and began to ask me what he could do to change my mind. I refused and walked out with my partner. Jesse *followed* us out, yelling about what a mistake it was the entire time. I told him I felt uncomfortable, he snapped at me and said, No, YOURE uncomfortable. I was trying to get away from this stranger with an alarmingly violent tone. I dont know this man. I dont know what he is capable of. No one intervened as he bellowed. I just wanted to leave.As we pulled out of the lot, I noticed one of the employees pulled out his phone to film us. I sure would like to know what he thought hed get out of it when I was refusing to engage.Of note, when I brought my car in, it was not making any noise. It ran fine. I did suspect it had a mechanical issue (which I am getting fixed tomorrow), but now it had an unrelated chugging and shuddering. Given how much time he spent with my car and not me, Id rather like to see their camera footage myself. That car has been running excellently for a month and ONLY had any issues after he drove it. Pretty interesting timing.A lot of the folks from here have pretty solid reviews, but I would not recommend Jesse James to anyone, especially anyone who might feel unsafe being yelled at. Ive honestly never seen anything like that in my life. I certainly hope someone pulls the cameras for Friday evening to review his aggressive behavior. It wasnt okay, and I will not be returning.

I will never ever get a car this place. They gave my best friend a car and right before the first car payment was made they came and took it saying they sold it to someone else. They said they were going to send the financing company a check and never did now their credit score dropped. I wish I could give them no stars.
Three cars all arrive at the same time for drop off and three service personal working. Only one guy waited on all three. Took me 25 minutes to drop off my car for a scheduled appointment. The Service Adviser had a bad attitude and thought is was funny that I had to wait. They need cameras in their drop off lanes to see how poor their service advisors perform. Guess I will have to drive a little further to get my daughters car serviced
Severe price gouging. Tried to charge over 3 hours of labor for a 15 minute job to change fuel filters. They wanted to charge over $600 for routine maintenance (oil change, tire rotation, and fuel filter). I was quoted prior to the service of a range between $115-400. Had to get a quote from another Nissan dealership for $327 for the same service. They still did not believe they were price gouging. Managed to talk them down to $420. I will not be returning to have my 2 vehicles serviced nor will I buy another Nissan from this dealership.
Got 45,000 mile check up. Supposed to take 1 1/2 hours, took less than 1 hour. Really appreciate the work and customer service I receive at Landers Mclarty.

Made an appointment a week in advanced, and showed up to find out the didnt have the parts for the job. Have yet to get the job taken care of but have gotten multiple stories about when they can do it and found out they want to charge $300 more than what was originally told to me without legit reasons why. They never even did an evaluation of my car to tell me what exactly is needed. Not happy with my experience so far and I havent even been at the building for more than 15 minutes.
Do not come here to look at vehicles unless you are ready to buy. They will take your keys while they evaluate the value of your trade in, then hold you hostage until you buy something. The salesman was abnoxious. He never stopped talking, he only showed us one vehicle and then would not take no for an answer. The vehicle he showed us was way more expensive than we wanted to pay for something, yet he just tried to make us justify it was worth the extra money to buy that car and not something cheaper. I eventually demanded he give me my keys back and still had to walk in to his managers office to get them. I will never go back here to look for a vehicle.

I had a significant electrical problem with my 2008 Altima Hybrid and did not know the source of the issues. This happened just a week and a half before my daughter needed to take the car to start college as a freshman. Fortunately the technician was able to find that the issue was caused by rodent damage to the main wiring harness forward of the firewall. This required insurance to get involved, but we were still able to get everything taken care of (plus a 120k mile service) in time for her to get the car back and move in to school on time. All of this was done while the dealership was experiencing a shortage of advisors and technicians due to COVID. Many, many thanks to Devon Richardson and the rest of the team for getting this taken care of quickly and professionally!
The service tech that I worked with went out of his way to help me. My car was towed in by AAA and nobody could find it on the lot. Turned out it was delivered to Landers McClarty Dodge Chrysler. They put a lot of effort into helping me locate my vehicle. They also performed work for 2 safety recalls while the car was there. It was a great overall experience.,

I had an appointment and I arrived 10 mins early. Went to wait in lounge, a young man was sent to tell me to stand by my vehicle to wait. I wait and wait, no one acknowledged me. Finally the guy from my prior visit recognized me and came to assist since no one acknowledged me.Car was not washed after service as it was less than a month ago.I will try and find another dealer to service my car.

I had lost my car key for my Nissan Altima for the last two weeks. The key was lost inside my vehicle because my vehicles engine would start. I searched and searched no key to be found. It was so frustrating to know the key was inside the car unfortunately I couldnt see it.I went to Landers McLarty Nissan in Huntsville off HWY 72(University Drive) to ask the service department if they could help me find the key. Four men looked though my vehicle and would not give up till they found it! Brandon moved my tissue box and thought to himself this tissue box was not supposed to make a rattling noise? He was very patient with me, I had a few hiccups along the way the signing process, but not once was I rushed. Nissan also helped with out with taking a friend across the street to another dealership to grab his car before the service department closes. They definitely went above and beyond with customer service!

Extremely rude, unprofessional, and dishonest. I had to put my car in for warranty work, and they held it for 3 weeks: when I picked it up they claimed that I had been denied. Upset at this, I called my warranty provider, NWAN, and they informed me no warranty claim had ever been made. I took my car to another dealership, they held my car for 5 hours, made the warranty claim, approved it and returned my car to me. I called earlier to schedule a service appointment and could clearly hear them pick up the phone and hang up before speaking to me. If I could do it over again, I would have never purchased a car from this location.

It was a Sunday afternoon, my wife and I came into he dealership to look for a Maxima. I had spied one online and wanted to see it. When we got to the lot we were met by Jesse James. Jesse is great. We took the golf cart to look for the Maxima. Only to realize it was on the showroom floor. At that point I asked if I could drive it. Not a problem! Someone came and helped move the car from the showroom. I took it for a test drive. And ended up purchasing the vehicle. The purchase was finalized 1 1/2 hours after normal hours. Not one and I repeat not 1 person at the dealership complained.. true customer service!!!
We were looking to buy a car for our 16 yr old daughter, not really expecting to buy one on the first day of shopping around. We arrived at Nissan and were greeted by Jesse James. My came back to me dirty and they did not fill my tank. But I had to fill the tank up in the rental car that I would not have needed but for the car having the problem when I got it. The customer service was horrible. But the problem was fixed. But could have been handled better!
I stand corrected. I had some small problems at first but I will say that Earl and his management team completely redeemed themselves. They upheld the promises to fix my problems and made my buying experience at Landers Mclarty 100% worth my while, and I drove over 6 hours from SC just to do business there. The wait time for an technician to service my vehicle and the cost was surprising because it appears the the cause of my vehicle being disabled had nothing to do with anything I did. I think it was a defect in the vehicle and I should not be responsible for footing the bill.

A great experience from start to finish. They were able to help my family and I get into a new vehicle after our other one had broken down. Lance was our sales representative and he was honest and straightforward throughout the entire process. He went above and beyond my expectations. Edit: Finally was able to speak with a manager and Eddie Williams, the sales GM, handled the situation very well. He apologized regarding the miscommunication with the sales rep and about the situation in general, and he made sure I received the payment as agreed. Very happy with the resolution he was able to provide.Horrible experience selling a car to the dealership. They agreed to buy the car on Saturday May 15th and left me sitting in the office thinking I had more paperwork to complete. When I went looking for the salesman after waiting for around 30 minutes, he was hanging out in the secured documents area chatting and tells me that Ill need to come back to get the bill of sale. I come back on Monday May 17th to complete the paperwork and get the bill of sale, and I ask when Ill receive the proceeds from the car. He tells me that I can come pick up the check by either Wednesday May 19th, or Thursday May 20th. I email him and the sales manager twice between the 20th and 23rd and never got a response. I then call the accounting department and they tell me to speak with a specific person, but she doesnt actually take the call. Neither I nor the bank have received any payments, and theyve already listed the car for sale on their website without having the title. Ill never have any dealings with this company ever again.

Really appreciate his attention to detail and patience. We received a great deal on a 2020 Murano and about two thousand more dollars on our trade than I expected. We have been in many times to service our 2014 model but first time to purchase. Highly recommend this dealership to anyone in the market for a new car.
Too predatory.We went on a Sunday so we could look at cars in person without being accosted. Before we even got out, salesmen were materializing between the cars like cargo-panted specters, vape smoke wreathing their faces. Sales pitches pouring forth like digital message repeaters that took on human form.I understand their purpose. I understand they need to make a living. But making me neck-crick uncomfortable before I even get my bearings....we really need to rethink the car buying experience. Great selection though.
