Bought an old truck from the owner,George.Had some issues with transmission,called him and talked about the issues.Dropped the truck off and met with the secretary who was apologetic understanding and very helpful.Shop employee was helpful with getting truck where it needed to be.As far as any negative reviews, all I can say would be,Communication!.Everyone Ive dealt with at Georges had been very helpful and attentive because of communication.Thank You,George!

I do not recommend this place to anyone they are unprofessional towards their customers it’s just a bad shop to take your car or truck they will lie to you and steal your money and you will have to provide all the parts because that’s what they had me do they said they’ll sell me a turbo for 1,700 much cheaper then the one I had then comes to find out that it was the same price as the other one which was $2080 then I ask why was it 2080 he said ohh because it wasn’t on sell I looked it up and it was 1650 so this doesn’t make sense then I ask him again another day and he said because of shipping where do they charge 300 for shipping many services offer free shipping so there is where they stole money, when I bought it I paid with my card and they charged me $80 dollars to use it, they said they will return the 80 when I pay cash at the end and they never returned anything also I went to see what other parts I needed for my truck and when I was about to leave the lady in the front desk told me to pay my remaining balance because they can’t work on the truck unless I pay also she said you need to pay because the guy needs his paycheck that isn’t something you tell a customer then later that day I get home and she calls me saying hey are you going to pay or not I told her I’ll pay the rest of the balance when my truck is ready that’s the agreement me and the guy in the front desk had and she just hung upSo I recommend this place to know one at all unless your trying to go through all this trouble a place I do recommend is Dealer Solutions Automotive visit them Highly recommended.

This was the worst experience every, I went in with my truck over heating. They stated it was: thermostat water heater and 3500 worth of work. I got it done and three days later after they test drove it and stated everything was perfect I got 35 minutes down the road and it over heated and exploded. I had it towed to a dealer and now getting it checked over by real mechanics. I am not one to shame businesss unless it is absolutely crucial. Please be very aware and if can take to another place do so. I do not wish that experience upon no one.

Quality of work is well below average. This shop will give you a price and when you come to pick up your car/truck the price will be higher. I spent $6,000 for motor work on my truck at Georges Garage and had to bring the truck back several times to have their mess fixed. I finally took the truck to other shop to get it fixed.

Exceeded my expectations! The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful and the price is very fair! Their customer service skills are phenomenal. Just scheduled for a little more work. I highly recommend their services!

My name is Malia and my co-worker Limon had just sold a Mustang to a customer that lives in Huntsville TX and our dealer is in Euless TX near Dallas. The customer drove the vehicle home that night and the next morning we got a call from the customer stating that the car would not start to our surprise. Because of the long drive and not having the mobility to drive the car here or tow it, Limon looked up a reputable mechanic super local(down the street) to our customer. Morgan at Georges Garage was willing and able to give us a tow truck company to pick up our customers Mustang and do a diagnostic. Come to find out the battery just needed to be charged. Their quick response and honesty went a long way for Limon and I and also for our customer and their experience. We are so thankful for people like this who understands what it means for the Customer, and us as a dealer from far away in meeting our needs and expectations as well. Its hard to find a good place that works on diesels and after going to many different locations on what you would call diesel mechanics is when a friend of mine brought up Georges garage in Huntsville Texas. Once I found them they went above and beyond what I expected them to do and pretty much every detail on anything that could possibly be wrong with my vehicle my truck they would call explain it in detail on why was doing what it was doing and then give me my options on replacing it leaving it whatever the case whats going to be. By far my diesel is running like new or actually better than new. As soon as I got my truck back I sent my suburban to them to do a complete motor rebuild so to Georges garage and family thank you for fixing my vehicles thank you for your honesty and integrity and I will not go anywhere else for any kind of automotive need.

ONLY bright side about this place is they work on older cars. HAD MY CAR FOR 3 WEEKS!!! Claiming they were waiting on the parts literally didnt start working till the LAST day and STILL might not get it back till tomorrow

My friend brought her car in to have a wheel bearing replaced about a month ago. She is replacing it again right now. Its expensive but it seems they either put the bearing in backwards or didnt replace it at all. Watch yourselves and follow through in demanding that youre replaced parts are returned to you after youre repairs are finished. 0 stars if they charge you but dont fix your car and dont do what they say when they say and the lady in the office is demanding and obnoxious in the process of basically stealing your money by charging you for repairs that werent actually done or were done incorrectly. Shame on you.

I cant say enough about how awesome Georges Garage is!!!!! Of all times for my A/C to not work properly....it had to be on these hot Texas days. Of course Georges Garage was swamped with customers vehicles to be worked on (because this is the best place around), but George understood I needed the A/C....especially because I would be driving to Michigan in a few days. He worked my car in the following day and in no time...it was fixed. Of course I thought the worst....its going to be major, its going to cost all my vacation money, I wont be going up home....etc. But that wasnt the case at all. For less than $100...my car was fixed! No BS, no over pricing, no treating me like Im a dumb female, no selling me anything I didnt need....nothing. Pure, honest, knowledgeable, top of the line excellent customer service! If anyone has a negative experience with Georges Garage....they might need to take a good look at themselves n reevaluate their situation!!! Very knowledgeable and won’t try to sell you what you don’t need. He rebuilt my 09 6.7 cummins and did me right. Very fast turn around too. I now have a new 2018 that’s under warranty but when that warranty is gone, George will once again be my mechanic.

George ripped me off bad. I bought a truck from his brother in law who obviously recommended him highly. George is a liar and cant remember anything you say to him . Do not take ANYTHING he says to you seriously. His word is garbage.Do not expect anything you say to him to be done. He lies while smiling to your face. I spent over 10K and my truck didnt even make it home before my transmission was stuck in both forward and reverse, my brakes went out due to lack of vacuum and my gas tank was full of water. Only two bolts holding the alternator on. Engine resting on oil pan because of bad mounts etc etc etc. Run like hell from this place. I wouldnt let this clown work on my lawn mower

For the last seven months, my 2011 VW GTI has been through the ringer. The oil system suffered failure after some road damage to the pan and pump. The timing chain, crank, and cam needed work. And the rear hatch had some electrical issues. Georges Garage has taken everything weve thrown at them and handled it in an open and honest way. Theyve got reasonable rates, they dont inflate the estimates with unnecessary repair work, and they communicate regularly about what their time table is for repair. George is a great guy with a great team. Best garage in Huntsville.
