This is the first time Ive ever had to file unemployment. But I know that before each individual office had a phone number of their own that a person could call and get through to someone local to them. When this virus hit and people started to be laid off a normal person would think We better add more lines at each office to keep up with the high call volume. But instead of that they do away with the numbers they had and just have one for every person in the state to call and get through on. I wonder who the genius was that thought of that idea. I mean come on people get it together. There is no excuse for ignorance of that level.

Not professional, my family is in need and I have been trying to reach out to them for months, is very sad that they dont even care.

HORRIBLE they hang up on you no help what so ever ive been trying for mine for 6 months ive been approved but just keep getting letters and run arounds they really nees to step there game up

Its a good thing you can refile each week online, so you dont have to speak with the sour people that work here.

I understand the high volume with Covid 19. I have been calling for over a week now after dropping off paperwork & was givin a piece of paper stating to call(so thats what I have been trying to do for over a week now) cant not get any help on website. What is a person to do? How are you going to straight have just a AUTOMATIC SORRY WE ARE BUSY & HANG UP?? IS this going to all be back pay when can file its going on a Month trying to get answers. Poor set up system & its suppose to be helpful?Im just really confused.

During this pandemic unemployment has neglected to take action on caseloads for over 13 weeks. With no other income or job how is one to survive this? Smh Workforce West Viginia needs to do their job. !!!

You cant call them, because the line is always busy, and you cant go in because they are closed to the public during this covid 19 pandemic. Was told to call them or come in. This place is a complete joke.

They will not call you back for anything to let you know what is going on
