Im here currently at Firestone and I am completely blown away with the degree of customer service as well as customer satisfaction. Nicholas Lyon was super helpful and determining what is pertinent for me to fix right now and what can wait till later which really helps my pockets instead of what other people are like fix all this now and just want your money.The manager Bruce Hart was did exceptionally well with explaining the prices as well as recommending the Firestone credit account.Then the lady at the desk was super helpful with my inexperienced to Auto service

The mechanic William was a great help. We thought that we had to get new brakes but turns out we didnt need new brakes. He was very professional. We live in Kentucky and we will be making long trips to have him work on our car. Thank you so much for all the help!

Took my vehicle there to get a tire fixed. They called and said they weren’t sure if it could be fixed because of the rim. I told them to try it and let me know. They called later and said it was ready. I assumed tire was fixed. Nothing was said. Two days later tire is flat again. I got 4 new rims put on somewhere else and same tire was still flat. The other facility had to fix the tire too. Last trip to that Firestone.

If I could give more stars, I would. William was our mechanic and he went above and beyond what he needed to and helped us with a newly purchased used car. All we went for was a regular oil change and to get our state inspection sticker, and he let us know why our car is pulling, what needs to be done and that he would work with us to fix the issues. GO HERE FOR YOUR CAR!!!

Way too expensive and for jobs that arent very big expect to pay 600 to 1000 dollars for pretty much anything! And apparently have a bad rep for charging people money for jobs not done! Rip off!

Full automotive service. They get you in and taken care of quickly. Awesome and knowledgeable staff. No high pressure sales tactics. Taking social distancing seriously and wearing masks at all times. I take my car here for scheduled maintenance and for any sudden issues Ive had and they have always taken care of me. Firestone also has an app, which makes keeping track of your maintenance super easy. You can also schedule appointments and see their ongoing deals and coupons. A really fine place.

I called for simple work on my vehicle. They quoted me a price of 730 dollars. They also said the part alone would cost 380 dollars. I then called a different mechanic and they quoted me 166 dollars for the same job. The part costs only 130 dollars that I found myself. This place is full of crooks over charging for simple work.I will have people calling periodically to price check these next few month. Then Ill forward the data to Better Business Bureau. Your price gouging; especially during a pandemic, is horrific!

Was told EVERYTHING on my car would be fixed for $840, but when I picked it up only 3 out of the 6 issues listed was fixed! Then the technician who inspection told me John called and quoted me everyrhing before the inspection was even finished! Then told me it would be another $400 to fix what was listed! Then when asked why it still squealed told me it sounds like a belt! Shouldn’t that have been fixed too!!! Very poor experience!

I came in today with absolutely no idea what was going on with the front end of my Envoy. As soon as I walked in Josh greeted me at the door and asked me what was wrong. The man stayed with me to the end and easily explained everything to me. I suggest if you go in please ask for Josh as he makes things tremendously easy and stays with you to the end. I’ll be working with Josh from now on.

Had appointment this past Friday for oil change and 40 minutes into it the guy comes out with papers in his hand and says your tires are wearing and you need an alignment. Well just having new tires and alignment done within less than 45 days ago I was very hesitant and decided to take it back to the tire dealership that I had went to for new tires and alignment. Glad I did....no wear and not out of alignment. This is why females should not go to Firestone! This is not my first time that I have experienced this with Firestone.

Friendly and helpful. Waiting room can be very hot due to large windows. Not much seating, and half of it faces the southern windows, so you get to work on your tan while youre blind. They say someone is coming to tint the windows to deal with this soon.Also, be prepared for Fox News on the waiting area television.

Good. quick service. Only problem being they charge $30 for the battery installation when it was supposed to be free. We called and the guy said he would take it off our card. We will see if he follows through on this.

These guys are always helpful, professional and always on time with their expectations they set. I drive a company vehicle and theyre my one stop shop for all the repairs needed to it.

I was so thankful that Firestone was open on a Sunday! My tie rod broke on a Saturday night, and I NEEDED my car through the week. Firestone was the only place open and they were able to fix my car by the end of the day. Tanner was very helpful. As for the cost, I would say its fair. Its not as cheap as going to get the parts and doing it yourself, but Im happy to have paid for the service here.

Placed on hold 3-4 mins before asking why I called on a Sunday (brakes needed changed).

The guys are always friendly and helpful. They explain what needs to be done and why. Being a 67 year old woman that is very important to me. I have an old car and see them more often than I would like.

They have always delivered great service. Got me squared away with mandatory vehicle inspection and basic oil change. They also found many issues requiring correction, provided sound professional guidance on necessary items to (battery, alignment, steering wheel adjustment) to fix. Handled the work as cheaply and timely as possible. Apologized for delays. Service on 3/31/2018.I have gone back several times since always great service there and plan to keep going back for basic maintenance. 2019 work has been as good as 2018 work.

I love this Firestone and the manager there Bruce Hart is wonderful!! The staff John, Tanner, Tim, and all the others so respectful and kind they do great work!!! I would recommend this Firestone to anyone. Thank you to them for all they do.

Just tried to have an alignment done here and they are the worst ever!! They told me the rear shims that needed replaced we’re going to be $94.99 a piece plus labor which was $104. On top of that they were going to add the charge of the alignment, which made my total out to be over $400! I called around to see how much shims were at other stores and they’re only $10 a piece at advance! They still charged me for the whole alignment even though they only done half of it! Do not go here they try to get you out of any money they can. I will not be back and will not recommend this place to anyone.

Terrible place!!!! they lie about how much it’ll be, then fix your car. When they’re done the total price is $100 more than they said. When i asked why he said they must’ve told me the wrong price! But thankfully they said they’d give me a discount! I am so grateful for my THREE DOLLARS off!

Usually love this place but today not so much. Mechanic ruined my upholstery on the driver side with dirt and oil. Bald guy with glasses cleaned and scrubbed. While I appreciate him for trying, this is not what it looked like when I bought it in for an oil change. Will have to get it professionally cleaned now. Wish Bruce was here. Never any problems when he is around. I will be giving corporate a call. I shouldnt have to pay for that. Customer for 7 years.

I was there for a long time, but they were busy. The guys were really polite and be helpful. Over all I was satisfied.

Was told a certain a/t tire would fit if I got a small lift, and instead of going with the one that fits already, spent $700 getting a lift and the tire didn’t even fit, they’re a bunch of monkeys, also installed the wrong break pads and had to spend an hour redoing it NEVER GOING BACK!!!!

Was on a cross-country road tip when my AC went out. I took my car to this Firestone and Bruce was very nice. He was very transparent and helpful through the whole process. Answered all my questions and had me on my way. When it comes to car repairs, I value transparency, and knowing that they are keeping my best interests (i.e., keeping costs low as much as possible) at the heart of what they do. From my experience, this Firestone does that.

Firestone on 5th Avenue in Huntington WV, is the greatest, and friendliest place to take your vehicle to, I give it 10 stars

The people there were extremely kind to me. We left the car with them overnight and they gave us an estimate in the morning. We explained that it was too much for us to handle. The parts to buy off amazon were 150 and we have a mechanic in the family. Itd be cheaper to tow it to Pikeville. We had the break pads changed and drove it there. My brother in law fixed it. He said not to go back there. That all he needed to know about them was that they didnt tighten the lug nuts on the tires. That this couldve gotten us killed.

The Staff was excellent and took care of everything our car needed I would recommend this store to anyone that needs their car serviced Great and friendly staff They are great!

These places say they are tire centers. Ask them to do a tire with a tube in it! Anything that would take just a little more attention and patience to work with they wont touch it. And when asked for this reasoning the only answer was its policy. 👎🏼

My experience was horrible. I dropped my car off at 11:43am at the 2630 5th Ave, Huntington location to get a simple oil change... They didnt seem to be very busy. I spoke to Shannon Ross (Service Manager) who told me my car would be ready in 2.5 hours. I thought that was longer than average. But I left my car there & came back at 5:30 to find my car in the same spot I left it, and it STILL WAS NOT READY. A simple phone call explaining that is would be longer than promised, would have prevented my frustration... but I was without my car the whole day & didnt even get my oil changed. I then asked Shannon Ross (THE SERVICE MANAGER) to simply give me my keys back. Shannon Ross never apologized or gave an explanation. He said that I was next in line.... I asked for my keys again & he gave me my keys and told me to have a good day, then turned around and walked off...... Absolutely terrible business and I wouldnt want a guy with morals like that running my business.

Bruce was very helpful and honest. Would recommend this place.

Reading some reviews on here, I am thinking people are forgetting this is not a dealership--a tire and lube place like Firestone is not someplace to go for major repairs. If you need major repairs done and cannot afford the dealership, go to a reputable mechanic who specializes in your kind of vehicle.Now, on to my review: they are more expensive than Wal-Mart, but better quality service, better warranty and the people are wonderful. Mark use to work at a dealership, so I know he knows about my kind of vehicle, anyway. They gave me a number of discounts and did not suggest any services I didnt need. Went in for inspection, told me at bare minimum would need two new back tires, which I expected. He gave me suggestions on other things as extra, not necessary to pass inspection or anything, but had wanted to get all the things he suggested done long before he suggested them.Will come back here again for tires, brakes, and future inspections for sure. Will still go to dealership for everything else.

Went in with an oil leak, left with a bent tie arm. They fixed the oil leak but now my car will pull me into the next lane if I dont hold the steering wheel at 10:00, not to mention the last time I brought it in for an oil change they told me the copper in my break line was over 100ppm, but yesterday looking at my new receipt its magically 60ppm. Dont trust these guys with anything, especially a small budget.

Went to get an exspection sticker and they failed the car for leaking shocks and wanted over $300, over $220 just for the parts, to fix both rear shocks. I paid $96 for the parts and had another mechanic replace them, the mechanic said the shocks werent even bad and were definitely not leaking, but I had him go ahead and put new ones on. They were probably just trying to make some extra money. While we were waiting, there was maybe 6 or 7 people also coming in for an oil change and they chose to leave their cars. We heard them call 4 to 5 other people saying they couldnt give them an inspection sticker until they fixed various things wrong with their cars. They are scammers.

It took all day to get my brakes done...and most of that time was spent just waiting on someone to go get rotors. And every hour I had to wait Im paying more money....i will not be back

I brought my car in for a diagnosis, they kept it overnight. Came back the next day and they didnt find the problem, and then charged me 100$ for looking at a dozen things that i didnt give a crap about. I took it to a local mechanic near the V, and they diagnosed it correctly only by listening to me talk about the symptoms, said it was a simple dirt problem, and fixed it in 15 minutes for just 40$. Never go to these guys for anything, they are worthless scam artists.

They were fine up to the point where they were looking at my AC, working with the compressor to figure out the issue. When I left, some dash controls and speedometer were not working. Came back and over the course of 3 days talked to multiple employees and the manager (Bruce). All of them made it a point to tell me they didnt really want to look at anything and that it was a pre-existing electrical issue, that would be on me. Took it to another mechanic- they had pulled fuses looking for issues with the compressor- and not put them back. Way to go guys. Not all that bad- but dropping the cocky attitude and upping the customer service would probably help you out in the long run.

Wanted to say that Goodyear on 4th Ave told me I was SOL when I pulled in with a flat tire and gave me no other suggestions other than driving on rim up to Firestone..So glad I did because customer service was fabulous, they saved the day for me cause my nerves were shot driving 10 miles per hour on a flat from GOODYEAR ON 4TH AVE!!!

Very friendly at the counter....BUT took my car in for a sticker. Told me I needed 600 dollars worth of work to get it. When I left, my alignment was messed up. Car pulling to the right. Went elsewhere I got the sticker and spent $40. These guys are nice but they are con artists. BEWERE!!!

I have their lifetime alignment so every 6 months I can get an alignment for my car (180 was the price). Yes it works but every time you go they will find something wrong with your car and push you and make you feel like you need it done, even if it doesnt need it

Took my car in for an inspection and oil change. Failed my car with bogus objections. Then failed to put oil filter on correctly and oil .leaked all over the car, NEVER go there...

Yes Im with a and S fire protection out of Worley Kentucky and we carried our torney 11 Honda accent down or to have it repaired well after them keeping it away we got it back it lasted 3 days picked it up yesterday and the boy got in at last night and it would start again apparently they got a bunch of monkeys in bays and a few other CF people down there that dont know what theyre doing on the world there SA certified or not but they are Id hate to claim that I was a technician that really blows what you like to

I would give Firestone no stars if it were an option. Took my vehicle to have it fixed, couple hundred dollars later they called and said it was fixed. I go to pick it up and didnt even get a couple blocks away before I realized they didnt fix the problem. I went back and told them is ran the same as when I brought it in. They checked it again and I was in formed of another problem that was causing the issue, but they couldnt locate the part to fix the vehicle. I went in and asked for my money back due to them not fixing it reguardless and was told that they needed to fix the first part to find the second part that was causing the issue. Long story short I only received the money back that I paid for diagnosis, and they kept the couple hundred in which I paid to have it fixed. So I left with a vehicle that wasnt fixed while they kept my money. Do not waste your time or money at Firestone and most definitely not at the 5th Ave Huntington wv store.

This place is fine if you just need some work done quickly, or if its something pretty basic. But their customer service is absolutely abysmal and insulting and patronizing if something goes wrong and you need some additional help. I called asking for guidance about what to do about my radio after the work they did triggered the security system, and I was treated so rudely and with such disrespect. Instead of actually addressing my questions and concerns, the manager (hi Bruce) just kept repeating himself over and over again and interrupting me, and when I pointed out that he kept interrupting me he threatened to hang up the phone because I was treating him rudely. Ive worked in customer service for over six years and I would never treat someone the way that I was treated over the phone with the store manager. He was unprofessional, hostile, and did not attempt to actually help me resolve my problem. I had to assert myself in order to get anything accomplished. When something goes wrong, the customer has a right to be frustrated and express that as long as they are doing so without aggression or hostility.
