The Huntington County Council on Aging provides a number of opportunities for seniors in the area. In addition to organizing the HAT (Huntington Area Transportation) vans, each year the organization hosts a stellar Senior Expo. They also provide information and plan special events for seniors living in Huntington County. Im sure there are more resources than I have mentioned, so I highly encourage folks to contact these folks directly.
