Joe took on rebuilding the engine in my ‘78 Chevy. He was great in sticking to the quote and even took my truck to a transmission shop for me to get the rear end re-geared. Now my truck is running great and I recommend Castillo Engines.

I took my 99 honda civic to Castillos after I was recommended from my older brother and Misdiagnosed from another shop they told me that my engine was worn out and after I told Efren what noise it was making he told me that the Catalytic converter need to be replaced thats what was causing the noise and my car runs better than before Thank again Efren 👍👍

DO NOT COME HERE!!!! Dropped cylinder head off to be rebuilt, only to find out a few months later, that the head was only cleaned, and reassembled. Valves were reused, and not adjusted. Head wasnt leveled to sit flush against engine block, causing anitfreez to leak into oil, resulting in another $800 to get the job done correctly elsewhere. NEVER AGAIN WILL I COME HERE FOR ANYTHING

Had a couple of 350 chevy engines rebuilt in the pass. Cars ran great! EXCELLENT customer service. Now im getting my 06 Rav4 engine rebuilt! They kept me informed on the status and will pick up my ride today. Cant wait.... Castillos Engine is defenitely Recommended!

Not recommended!!! Not only is their workmanship questionable at best, but also, they will take their sweet time in honoring any warranty related work. They will treat you like a second class citizen whenever they have to fix the job they could not get right the first time! No paying customer deserves to be mistreated or deal with wishy-washy owners that change their tone as soon as they are paid. In the end, this business was just too incompetent and dishonest to complete the job they committed to. Bottom line, dont let them butter you up with flattery; you will be disappointed. Customer beware!

Took my mazdaspeed head for port and bowl work, they were time efficient, helpful and very knowledgeable. Wouldnt go anywhere else.

If you call again youll get a different price from different people there.If you question why the prices change they say yhat guy doesnt work here anymore. And just like that their attitude flips and you become worthless to them.

I paid for a full engine rebuild on my 240sx at this place and a week after I had the engine rebuilt the oil plug comes off while I was driving in the freeway and all the oil spilled out on the freeway and endend up killing the engine. Towed the car back and they denied that they did a bad job and paid an additional 200 for a crankshaft on top of the 2300 I paid for the rebuild....after a year of driving the car I found out that they reused all my gaskets and seals when I paid to have everything replace... I will never come back to this place after this awful experience...

Jr. and joe are excellent. these guys did a great job on my 70 chevelle putting some high performance power in the 454. will be returning for my 68 charger to do the 440

Quality is a must this place did not give me a quality engine for what I payed them for. The works man ship is bad. it has to be quality before quantity. And worst of all theyll lie and deny there mistakes to take no responsibility for there actions.

What a gem! I was told I had a crack in my head gasket, so I decided to take my car to Castillo engine rebuilding. Turns out I was misdiagnosed and only had a valve issue. Thanks Efren, you really saved me a ton of money!
