I went to this staffing to apply for a job like a month and a half or so because I had seen at zip recruiter that they was hiring for a “Forklift” position. I walked in all happy because Linzee from the front desk had called me for the position that they was hiring. I walked in,filled in some paper work and did my test. The girl recruiter interview me and she said they was going to call me if there was anything available.... really?!???!! I couldn’t believe it! She asked me for my desire pay and I said $15. After calling to check in plenty of times,the recruiter had a position available for me. I replied yes to the text any she send me the job information but she wanted to pay me $13.50 and I didn’t know until I received the job information and she said she was going to take me off their system and this and that. First of all when I applied I said what was my desire pay rate and second of all they ain’t dealing with a man without experience. I have more than 13 years of experience in different areas. Forklift driver more than 10 years. They try sending you to $12-$13 jobs and the recruiter just looks at you like I guess if she likes you or something she places you in a better pay position cause all the positive reviews I’m pretty sure it’s cause of that or maybe I’m wrong who knows. I asked the recruiter for at least $14.50 and she said she couldn’t do that. It’s unbelievable! It’s the second bad experience I had with Express employment. The false advertising about having positions available is not Cool! You guys should be more clear and get organize. People don’t have time to go waste time sitting down on a office for 2hrs or more. Bad experience!! Don’t apply here!

Made me wait 3 hours for an interview where they told me they had a job for inventory and but “they didn’t “ and then to tell me we’ll call you back to finish your application, because we only have forklift available. So unfair, it should be first come first serve but no. Only who ever they want to hire they hire. And then this dramatic lady came in and was talking about problems in her work; when it was my turn for an interview but they passed her in first like wow another hour to wait ! If you people want to play games here is where you have to go.

Ive also worked with other employment agencies but the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER was at this specific location. mind you Im a very chill person and have experienced many cultures.hopefully this reaches the owner1. I called and asked if they had jobs with multiple opening and if so could i bring my brother to my job interview. there FOH responded sure she took his NAME and INFORMATION. (like most educated blacks i changed my voice over the phone)2. we showed up immediately (with in the hour) i had no transportation and my brother had no job so this was perfect we eagerly sat and filled out paperwork3. we were then told we could not be hired because we we related i further explained that this was a frat brother and then responded even friends can not work at the same location. i explained i spoke with some one over the phone and she responded that is was her who i spoke to.4. this is where tings get weird i was brought into an office with a very aggressive recruiter who obliviously thought i was some hood person due to the location of their office she aggressively and sarcastically interviewed me. and was very supercilious with her tone and demeaning with her word choice i couldnt understand how two degree having professionals couldnt just talk with respect. i left with no job.5. i recently called back and was told i could not work with them because i wanted to work with my brother. not because i was not qualified not because i was irate or disrespectful not even you dont have reliable transportation i was not even asked if i currently have a car (i now have my own transportation that why i called) its not the why that bothers me its the how. i have never been so disrespected and talked in a way for someone not to even know my place such judgement on my character. when i asked to speak to the owner i was told ill never talk to him and if i come to the office i wont be seen. Im new to California so what ever race wars you guys have going on Im not apart of so please dont treat black men or any person man or women of any race with such HOOD RAT behavior i truly believe if i were to talk to the owner who is a black man he would see the buffoonery going on.6. IF YOU ARE BLACK JUST DONT GO THERE YOU WILL BE GIVEN LOW WAGES AN NOT CONSIDERED FOR ANY MANAGEMENT POSITIONS BECAUSE YOU MUST SPEAK SPANISH IF YOU ARE BILINGUAL GOOD LUCK.

I went in for a interview did a test once i started and finished interview they had no work. i hope in the future Express would advertise True openings of what they truly have other then that it was a waist of time so dont waist your time. lying to the public about what they have is truly false advertisement also the lady i spoke with had a ghetto attitude and lacked professional skills .
