About a month a ago my Infiniti G35 started knocking so I called a couple places to inquire about a VQ35DE, luckily for me the guys at German, Korean, and Japanese auto parts were able to help me with that, not only that they also gave me a pretty competitive price compared to other places. They have amazing customer service, especially Gerardo, I will be going with these guys in the future as well as recommend them to all my friends and family! Now my G is back to normal and better than ever!!

I usually don’t do reviews, but I was impressed with the quality and service from this place.Ordered a 2012 Volkswagen Jetta transmission for my wife’s vehicle, the transmission arrived in excellent shape, we did not even have to drain the old fluid, no half way cut wiring, no broken parts. My mechanic installed the transmission without any kind of issues, now my wife’s car runs better than ever. We never noticed how much difference a 30k miles transmission could do on a vehicle with 120k miles. I’d like to express my gratitude towards everyone at German Korean auto. They made the process easy and smooth.

I called about an advertised as low mileage engine from them. They promised 70,000 or less and I bought it (and paid a premium price). Paid another $418 to have it shipped from CA to CO. Engine was damaged in shipment, most likely due to insufficient care when strapping to the pallet. Nevertheless I accepted the engine and started readying it for the install.As a lifelong professional auto technician Im thorough when examining used engines for any problems PRIOR to installation as it is much easier to remedy any issues before the engine goes back in the vehicle. I pulled the timing cover to inspect the timing belt and water pump and the belt is VERY cracked and worn indicating this engine likely has well over 100,000 miles. Probably closer to double the 70,000 miles they ASSURED me it had.Called Nader and got no help and he seemed insulted that I would even question their mileage claims. Now NO ONE can say for sure how many miles this engine has, it could have 270,000 for all I know. But after 40 years in this business I can say with confidence that theres NO WAY this is anywhere close to a 70K mile engine.Timing belts look good at 70K, they still look good at 100K.Also used a bore scope to look inside cylinders and there are high amounts of carbon build-up and evidence of oil on the top of a most of the pistons. This $2000 engine is likely junk.DONT BUY HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!P.S. although a 4.5 start rating seems good, sort these reviews by newest and you will find way too many 1 star reviews. Risky business buying from these guys. You may get lucky, but without a doubt they are dishonest.

This is going to be my third time buying from this business. I usually deal with Mike for any parts that I need. Recently we did a powertrain engine swap in our weekend BMW 325i, we were able to source a fully running 330i engine from german Korean auto. Engine worked just fine, no issues whatsoever. Mike also helped me to troubleshoot the software to support a larger displacement.

My engine on my 2020 q50 blew up at the track. I met jerry over there as well. He told me I could come over to his shop and look at some motors. Finally, we decided on where to take this build and they built me a new 3.0 motor to hold a bit more boost without sacrificing reliability. The motor is now pushing north of 500hp.

I’m very satisfied with the engine and transmisión combo I purchased from German Auto. Originally, I over revved my motor and destroyed the complete drivetrain. I saw the car at their location and I ordered the engine and gear box on Monday and they delivered as promised on Wednesday. After the install was done, the engine had no leaks or any kind of issues. I found them through car-part.com. Parts were clean, customer service was excellent.

About a week ago, my bmw 323 started having issues with the transmission. Ben at German figured out which transmission I needed and sold me a transmission that works 100%. Totally recommend to friends and family

After searching for a transmission for my Kia Optima and only coming up to ridiculously expensive ones elsewhere, I came across this shop and found a good unit here. Had it delivered to my local shop for a small fee and the transmission shop I commissioned to do the repair remarked that the mileage stated by GKA was accurate based off the condition from the pre-inspection. So far so good, havent had any strange issues with my transmission since it was installed.

Be careful! I went in to get a transmission advertised on car-part for $799. The guy Alex with blonde hair printed an invoice for $800, a $100 core charge to recycle the old part since they don’t rebuild, and insisted the tax rate was about 9% or $88(the city hall of HB told me over the phone it was in fact 7.75%. Later they slammed the door on me and said they refuse to sell me anything. As I wrote this report they reopened the door reduced the tax to $62 then said the part was just sold to BMW of Long Beach though the dealer would never buy a used anything from them. All lies from Mike and Alex Watch Out American people.

Reccomend 100% - good parts, very good price compared to other yards. They dont play games. Im for sure coming back again for more parts

I bought a 2ZZ engine for my Celica GTS and couldn’t be happier. I spoke to Jerry and within the next day I had the engine ready to be installed. No surprises whatsoever! Have been running the engine on a daily for over a month now and it runs great. Also passed smog no problem. Overall I’m very satisfied and highly recommend them.

They’re always willing to help me when Im in need. We run a small repair shop next door and the guys at German always let me surf for small bits and pieces!

Will not buy from them again. Their customer service reps are very nice, but they tell you its one price then find out its actually more than what they quoted. Let me explain. I called for an engine and the initial pricing sounds good until they start hitting you with core fees and they quote shipping and its not anywhere close to what the shippers quote. I was quoted 300 max by the sales rep for shipping to VA and the shippers said it would be over 400.00 and if I needed a lift gate it would be even more. We are in VA and I am not shipping a core back to Cali. What was really upsetting was the shipping fees after the fact and being told that if we used the lift gate when it gets here wed be charged extra. There is also a million things that have to be signed electronically and cant even get one of the items to open right now in email. The sales reps need to get with their shipping department when making quotes to give accurate pricing in the future.

Paid a premium price for a supposedly low mileage motor. Came to find out that it was indeed not a low mileage motor and that it burns oil at a rapid rate.For me personally this was a financial travesty with zero recourse.How do these people live with themselves?

My car broke down a couple days ago, it was difficult to find a certain engine part since my engine is European made. German got it for me under 48 hours.

Dishonest and unprofessional - avoid doing business with them.I contacted them about a engine with “low miles” (30k). When I asked for the VIN number of the donor car, they were unable to provide it - I should have hung up at that moment. Nader gave a glowing review of the engine, even saying “this would be the engine I would put it my daughter’s car if it needed it - it is the cleanest engine we have had in a long time…you aren’t going to have any problems with this one - trust me“. So I bought it.I purchased the engine and arranged shipping across the country. Unfortunately, the pallet that the engine and turbo were packaged on broke and the shipment was delayed significantly as a result and the turbo was damaged by the weight of the engine. I informed German Korean Auto of this in writing as it would delay the installation and received no response.I had the engine shipped to a reputable independent BMW shop - upon removing the oil pan, they discovered pieces of the serpentine belt inside of the engine (this is a very common catastrophic failure for these engines). In addition, the timing chain guard was broken and there was evidence of metal flakes in residual oil in the oil pan (indicating that oil starvation occurred, damaging the inside of the engine).The independent shop did not recommend installing the engine as is and I requested a replacement from the company. There is absolutely no way that this damage could have happened without the engine running (damage did not occur during shipping).This is where Nader and team turned incredibly ugly. I provided them with pictures and written statement from the shop I was using about the condition of the engine. They accused me of “playing games” with them and refused to help me. I asked to speak with the owner of their business and Nader indicated that “he would talk to him and let him decide if he wants to talk to me” - needless to say, I never received any contact from the owner.This parts provider is dishonest, unprofessional, and has terrible customer service.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. This company has lied to us on many occasion about product price and delivery. Ownership really needs to look into these guys working the counters very unprofessional very rude over promise and under deliver.

I bought an engine for my 06 BMW and it was in excellent condition. This is a great place to buy good parts at a fair price. Overall, this place has really good customer service and i would definitely recommend it.

These guys listed 5 engines for my car at $999. i called them 3 days in a row ready to buy it, and was told each time, well call you back. never called back. when i finally got someone who would actually do theyre job, the price jumped up $1000, and they would not honor their previous advertised price. do not do business with them, they are liars and cheats. i even took a picture of the previous price, which was just from 2 days ago. terrible customer service, do yourself a favor and stay away.

Called in on a part from car-part.com for $249. They told me those are all sold before even giving them a stock number. But they have another of what Im looking for that is at 300$. I asked him what the difference was and just said different stock number. Even though none was given.These people are dishonest and try to add on to pricing instead of honoring what they have advertised.

Liar liar liar, these guy advertise for parts they don’t even carry, give you a price over the phone and tells you to come to pay and pick up ( they don’t take online payment ) when you arrive there, not only they don’t have the part in stock but the price has changed from $990 to $1200.Than they tell you to pay the parts and to come back a few day later to come and pick it up ( 1.30 hours drive one way ).Mileage advertise is not the same when you get there (+30000 miles )These guys are not trustfull at all.Keep your distance from this place.Oh i forgot they try to add also core fees ( $150) extra.Of course i did not pay anything and left

My experience with German and korean parts was excellent. I was able to get an engine with only 25000 miles for my GENESIS COUPE. Engine ran super good, also the engine arrived spotless clean which made it super easy to install. Looks brand new, runs like never before.

This team sold me an awesome BMW 535i Twin Turbo engine at a great price. The quality and condition of the engine was excellent. The price was significantly better than anyone in the USA. I checked many places and no one could have given me a better engine or a better deal. I installed engine and it ran great on first try. Instantly passed smog with great readings. Literally the best experience I have ever had. Gerardo was super friendly and helpful. Got me the part I need super fast and the price was the most competitive that I found. All of there parts are quality and are in great condition.I also need a part for my moms car, and the didnt have it. Best experience within the auto industry. Its hard to find a place with great customer service. When my car breaks down Im already dreading the expense, Im expecting to pay a high price for the most basic parts with an extensive amount of mileage, however this wasnt the case. A lot of people recommended German Auto for their cars so I wanted to check it out for myself. My Hyundai sadly broke down on me and Jerry helped me get the right part with low mileage.
