They told me a $90 part was going to cost me $200 and then $240 extra to install it. I youtubed the issue, order the $90 part and installed it myself in 20 mins. Plus, this location is not in Huntington Beach, even though they use it in their name on Google. FYI

I called to schedule an appointment and let them know what the problem was with our dryer. I asked if they could please talk with a technician first to confirm that it could still be repaired given we had already replaced two parts ourselves. I didnt want to pay $69 for someone to come out and say it couldnt be repaired. Thats a waste of their time and my money. They said that was not their policy and I could call another repair company and hung up on me.

DO NOT USE! Review from a REAL customer...Contacted this company for a fridge/freezer repair because they were local, right down the street from me in Huntington Beach. Expecting to reach a local, maybe family-owned company, I was instead directed to a dispatch center that outsourced my need to one of their 5 or so plus repair companies (although I did not know this at the time).The technician from LA? arrived on time, so I was initially pleased. That quickly went downhill. He abruptly looked at my fridge/freezer, diagnosed the problem, would not entertain any of my questions, and explained the issues very fast, muddled, and in a way I would not be able to understand. He seemed frustrated off the bat that I even had questions.He quoted me an outrageously high price. I told him that was much more than I was willing to spend and I could find a used fridge online for that price or cheaper. He got frustrated again and told me that was a bad idea and that I wouldn’t be able to find a good quality used fridge for that price. He told me if I fix this one, it will last for another 5-8 years (he of course, was not willing to give me a guarantee). I told him I needed some time to think it over and weigh my options, so I’d pay the $70 for the visit and call back if I wanted to make an appointment to repair.He then said he could give me a “special” 10% discount if I scheduled the repair appointment with him right now, which came out to $315 instead of $350. I decided to go ahead and move forward. He said, “ehhhh okay, why don’t you pay, uh let’s say $100 or so now, as deposit to keep the appointment.” I said fine.The next day I had yet to hear from the technician, named Victor by the way, about when he planned to come fix the fridge. I was already feeling so uneasy about the situation and felt I was being overcharged and based on the technician’s attitude, I did not trust he was sincerely interested in fixing the problem with care and detail, but yet, prioritized getting paid.So, I called another company that I found on yelp. Family-owned and 5 star reviews. I explained my situation and he genuinely felt bad. I told him what the technician said was the matter, gave my fridge model number, and based on what he found, I was being way overcharged. He was actually familiar with the company too and said he has heard a lot of complaints recently. This man was kind enough to work with me on his price so I would still be paying less, including the $100 I paid to the other company, than I would the discounted $315 I was quoted.I called the first company back to cancel my appointment and to try to get a refund of the additional $30 I paid. The customer service rep said no problem and that he would refund right away. 5 minutes later I get a call directly from the technician. He is angry and demands to know why I canceled the appointment. He then proceeds to tell me the $100 is non refundable. I told him the other person I spoke with, who I really did think was an office manager or something, already approved the return. He repeated himself over and over. I told him he’d have to take that up with the other guy. He then hung up.The next day the return still wasn’t processed so I called back. The “office manager” answered, said he processed the return, then put me on hold for 15 minutes. I eventually hung up and called back. He said he had me on hold for someone else and they’d call back when the manager was free. I then get a call back later form someone named Stephanie. She explains Nick is just a call center representative and has no authority to issue refunds. She said the $100 is non refundable because it goes to the supplier for parts. I told her that Victor never mentioned it was non refundable or that it went to the supplier for parts; in fact, he said he already had the parts so it would be a quick fix. She apologized and said there was nothing she could do.All in all, horrible experience, and I would not recommend to even my worst enemy.

He brought all of his tools and when he was about to do his job, he saw an unusual thing on my oven. He suspected that it was the cause of the problem, and he was right!
