Bunch of misleading crooks. I dont even understand what the five dollar an hour clerk gets out of misleading me into spending hundreds of dollars extra.
I had the pleasure of renting from this location numerous times during the last few months and each experience was a great one. The staff was always pleasant and courteous and my rentals were good. I have rented everything from a compact to a SUV. If the car I requested was not available I was given the next best choice without ever being asked to pay additional money. My need for having to rent a vehicle will be lower now that my personal vehicle is being repaired but this office will definitely be my go to should I need one! Thanks for a hassle free few months of renting :)
Great rental company with great rates through our major warehouse store membership. Never have any problems with them, very friendly team working at this location. Will definitely return.
Very disappointed in the customer service. Picked up the car and it was all dinged up. I was told as long as it is not bigger than a dollar. They never showed me where the gas release was. I had to go back and then they looked for it. The tire pressure was not right, put $6.00 of air in the tires and the light was still on. I had to take it to a tire store to have the problem taken care of.
Their great service and flexible business is really wonderful! I rented from them for about 5 weeks and all customer service was delightful.
The first car they gave me needed an alignment or new tires as it shook at highway speeds. But they swapped me out without any hassle and actually gave me an upgrade for my trouble. Great experience.
The customer service was great. I dealt with 2 gentleman, one when I picked up the car and the other at return. Both were very polite, nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend this location
Every rental comes with oh we dont have that car, but we have this one that is $15-20 more per day. I do not want a more expensive car. It is not my fault the website sold me a class of car and then you did not have it.Also, give me an exact price for returning a car to a different location. I should not have to pay $200+ for returning a car to a different location. You have hundreds of locations, part of the reason I use enterprise is that there are so many locations to return the car. On top of that you are not going to tell me up front how much it will cost to return the car to a different location? I am surprised this is ok with the BBB. Will be considering other rental car agencies in the future.
Typically I only give reviews if my experience was outstanding or the worst. I have to say this was not outstanding. I reserved a standard car with promo to get a free upgrade to a full size days in advance. The day I come to pickup the car I was greeted outside due to COVID-19. The guy proudly tells me he had a Toyota Corolla already for me. I explained my reservation and the promo that I shouldve had. He gives me a story on how a nascar race team came in that day and rented 40 vehicles from them and this is all they had left while standing next to two Impalas and a Infinity SUV. I brought to his attention that this happens every time I rent from this location and the last time they tried to give me a Corolla that you could see through the drivers floor board. He admits that this was the same. WTH! I inquired about the Impala but those were premium cars and it would cost me an additional $200 for the week. As Im leaving to go elsewhere he stops me and now has a car just getting its oiled changed and we can go get it. I complied and it turned out to be a intermediate car. I take the car on my trip but it struggled to make the drive. When I get to my destination I get a warning that oil change service is due in a few miles. Seriously! At the end of my trip I call the office to change credit cards to charge but no one answered for over an hour, not even a voicemail. It wasnt until after closing that the voicemail actually worked.I am a long time renter of Enterprise and even a rewards member, but if I could transfer all of my points to someone I would. Because I more than likely will not use their service again but if I did it will not be the Huntersville, NC location.
My rental experience at the Huntersville location was great. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. I have used this location many times and have always received excellent service. The car we rented was very clean and performed well even after putting almost 3000 miles on it. I highly recommend using Enterprise and especially this location.
First car had slow leaking tire that eventually went flat. I exchanged for another one at that time. Service was good and car was mechanically fine. Very smoky smell inside, obviously had been smoked in and they tried to cover the smell up with heavy fragrancing
Nice staff, but they gave me a car that had been smoked in. I didnt receive an opportunity to actually get in the car or inspect it before the agent was pushing the tablet in my face to sign for it. I asked him if the car had been smoked in and he said I dont think so. The air freshener they had just sprayed did a decent job of concealing it for about ten minutes, but after a mile with the windows down, the stench became clear. I had the displeasure of spending 5 days and 1300 miles in that stinky car. Ive never paid so much for a car that makes my clothes and hair stink.I recognize that the staff arent the problem here - although its a bit dishonest to say I dont think so when they know the truth. Enterprise needs to scale up the their fines for smoking in cars to something that actually stops people from doing it. They also need to do more than a spritz of air freshener before renting them out again.
Cars have been dirty the last couple of times I rented. All other service is top notch, but having to clean my windshield before hitting the road is a bit ridiculous. The residue left by the disinfectant is hard to get off.
Its a good little place. But it is little and its in an awkward location. If Uber is picking you up, I recommend walking around to the back near the bus area for easier pickup.The staff is always friendly and helpful. Theyre always busy, so make sure to reserve ahead of time if possible.
Super easy renting experience. In and out less than 5 mins, even with inspecting the car.

Enterprise staff were very professional and ready to help. I did wait outside for a Rep all of 2 minutes. I hadnt made a reservation, getting some car repairs done which will take a few days. Regardless they had cars available, were quick to look up my rates (USAA) and my insurance (USAA), and get me on my way. To a total of 6 minutes. This is my 2nd time renting from this location and have had a positive experience each time. Id prefer not to rent a car, that said Ill be using Enterprise at this location if and when needed. Highly recommend!👍👍
This is my go to Enterprise location. Chris and staff are always accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. The cars are clean and in good condition. It is a pleasure to rent from this location in Huntersville!
The entire staff at the Enterprise in Huntersville NC off of Statesville rd is amazing! They always have great service and clean cars! They have taken care of me many times! Chris is fantastic and deserves some recognition! They all do as a matter of fact! I will never go anywhere else to rent a car! Thank you again!
This Enterprise location have employees that care and are very accommodating. Wyatt, Colton and Chris were are there to help when I had a car issue. Quickly resolved. Would highly recommend.

Well I’m livid. Upon request, I brought bills as my proof of address. However, I was not informed that I ALSO needed a pay stub if I didn’t have full coverage insurance. I’ve rented 1 car every holiday for over a decade and never have I been turned away. Let alone WITH RESERVATION ON CHRISTMAS EVE. Absolutely negligent on part of the phone operator. Merry Christmas.
Customer service at a level I dont see much anymore. I dealt with 3 different workers at this location.I had a minor problem when I showed up with the car they had reserved for me. Long story, but everyone there worked hard to make it right. Very pleased and I will return to this location!

I received a confirmation email for one price and I received an invoice with a different price. I have images available when the vehicle was picked up and returned in the same condition. Unprofessional behavior by poor folks.
The staff at this location is super friendly and eager to please. I have used them twice this summer for weekend trip rentals. They called me before and after to confirm, then checked that everything went well. I cant remember when any other car rental place did that.Cars could be a little cleaner. My main concern is that the windows are clean. The rest of the car I am not so worried about. I would highly recommend this location.

They didnt want to honor the rate special from online, they gave me a car with a loose side mirror that turned to the ground did took an hour to finally give me an upgrade with a lot full of cars. I use to spend about $500 a month in business using this location and they were the best earlier this year. This new team of workers need to be more flexible, responsive, and customer accommodating. The car was wet but not cleaned well and had an odor. Better car washing, wipe down and dry the cars.

Great location, convenient to an NTB so I can drop my car off for service and pick up a rental for the next day or so. Good selection of cars and very accommodating staff. If you dont fancy the car youre about to be given, just ask and sometimes its a very cheap upgrade. Definitely by go-to car rental agency.
I can say I had a very good experience. The customer service rep who assisted me was very nice, polite, and took care of all my rental needs. I was not overcharged and I had to expand my service for some additional days which was not a problem and they took it out of my $100.00 hold which was not a problem for me at all. I love the weekend special they have going on now. I have been using enterprise rental for about 10+ years in New York as well as the Carolinas and California and never had a problem. This is my 4th time renting from this place. Kinda surprised by the reviews Ive read. Just came back from my trip to FL, and Jennifer was a fantastic help. Car was exactly what I reserved, and was charged what was quoted.I like this location because its away from the airport, near my sisters house so I can drop off my regular car, and its simple to get in and out quickly. Will definitely rent from them again.

Great pricing compared to other Enterprise locations and there is a place to leave your car if needed. Friendly employees that will take the time to help you find the spare tire if you ask (this was no small task on the Dodge Caravan!). My vehicle was not as clean as I would have liked, but nothing a few baby wipes couldnt cure. Ive rented here before and I know this was an isolated incident. I already have my next rental booked. This is my new favorite location.
Friendly folks and the car was ready to go except for a full tank so they discounted the rental price. This is my third time renting here and it always goes smoothly. I dont mind topping off the tank and bringing it back empty.
I originally rented a compact car online. The day of pick up there were no compacts available. I got a standard sized car for the price of the compact, and was offered a minivan if I wanted that instead.The staff was super friendly and quick.
My experience with this location was excellent. My initial contact was with Brandon who transferred my original request from Salisbury to Huntersville very efficiently.He was courteous and answered my questions. When I arrived at Huntersville I was treated very well and was given a free upgrade. My rate was very competitive and I continue to be impressed with the service I receive from Enterprise.
Every time I visit the sales people are experienced and friendly. I quit the other rental agencies because of this. Price and availability has never been a problem - even on short notice.
My husband and I wanted to rent a full size SUV to take on our vacation in lieu of driving our older model minivan. We live in Virginia and Enterprise doesnt open until 8a so to save time we chose a pick up location in NC (we would already have over an hour of driving done when we got there at opening time). We arrived at the Mt. Airy location only to be told that in order to rent a full size SUV we had to have a major credit card... which was not mentioned at all on their website when I booked the SUV. All we have is our debit cards so that knocked us out of renting. We got back on the road and I called the nationwide customer service number to ask why the credit card stipulation wasnt mentioned anywhere on the website and the gentleman said that is a rule only at certain locations and that we could reserve and pick up a full size SUV at the Statesville, NC location and they would accept our debit cards. The only thing is that our drivers license address had to match the address on our debit card. So we drove another 45 minutes only to be told that not only did we did have to have a credit card, but we had to have a valid North Carolina drivers license. We are so incredibly frustrated with the lies and the waste of our valuable vacation time. I would not recommend this company at all. Too many hidden hoops to jump through.
Check in was fast and staff were very friendly. The car was clean. We returned the car after hours and they called the next day to confirm the return.
Not sure why I was charged $100 over the agreed rental rate. Tried to call but of course you all are closed. To my knowledge, there was no damage to the vehicle nor did I receive a call if there was damage. Shady company and I wish Enterprise never purchased Triangle Rent a Car because I also rented with them and had no issues.

The staff is extremely friendly and polite. I went on a Saturday morning after making last minute Friday reservations. They were short staffed due to call offs, but they really went above and beyond to get everyone in and out in a timely manner.
If you want to rent a car from this location, I would advise against it. I called, booked my reservation and thought everything was set, only to get a call back a half hour later explaining that they didnt actually have any cars for me to rent. Really??? This is how you run a business? Someone needs to figure something out so people arent booking a car that isnt actually available!

Staff was friendly. Vehicle was adequate. I asked for a small vehicle because I was traveling alone and wanted to save on gas. I was assigned a Jeep Patriot. Small???? Took 3/4 of a tank one way to Myrtle Beach. $100 required security deposit on a $40 rental is ridiculous! Especially for a long time Emerald member!! Then they told me that soon it would be going up to $200 per rental!! Dumb. Hertz does not do that to me. Ill rent from Hertz exclusively in the future.
The people are nice enough but the b.s. they are trained to lay down to the unsuspecting public is horrid. Reservations are NOT guaranteed at any time with rental car companies, so be aware.Yes they will try and up sell you with expensive protections, but unlike other companies they will do so outside by the car at the last minute.If you use a debit card they will ask you for, no kidding, two references, how long you have been in your home, rent or own and then call to verify your insurance. Its worse than a mortgage! And you will need to supply this information each and every time you plan to steal, oh, I mean rent a vehicle, because you know - it would be too easy to SAVE your information and issue a loyalty number and let you be on your way.Sorry Enterprise, your policies are inane, insulting and at times, downright underhanded. I only rent here if I absolutely, positively have to. At Avis, I pick up my key, show my drivers license and I am gone. 2 minutes versus twenty and not one bit of B.S.!

Customer service was excellent. However when it came time for me to return the car and for someone to pick me up they said it was to far out. That was my only issue. I will rent from enterprise again.
The vehicle was available upon our arrival. The vehicle was clean on the inside but the outside was not. The representative offered to have it cleaned but we declined. The front passenger tire was bald in spots. I did not check all the tires but they definitely need to be replaced as the ride was not as smooth as it should have been in a Suburban. We appreciate the rental and we made it to and from our destination safely! Thank you Enterprise.

Update: The manager from this Enterprise location gave me a call to follow up, either as routine procedure or due to this review. After letting her know of my dissatisfaction, she agreed to refund half of the charged amount. Its not a perfect solution, but at least something was done to help make it right.---Friendly enough, but watch out for sneaky and misleading upcharges. Was given an Enterprise replacement rental while my vehicle was at the shop. As we looked over the car, the salesman cleverly gave me the only choices of Basic or Enhanced coverage. Assuming Basic meant that I would be simply using my own insurance (ie. no extra charges), I opted for that. Next thing I know, Im on the hook for an additional $20...PER DAY (man, I hate to see what the Enhanced Coverage would have cost).Well, you got me, Enterprise. Hope that extra $ was worth it. As the saying goes, let the buyer beware. Now I am, and hopefully everyone else is too.
I have been renting cars from these guys for more than 10 years and their customer service has always been great great. The only reason I give them four stars is that their smaller cars dont have cruise control and they continue to give me Dodge/Jeep SUVs as rentals. They need to get rid of Dodge/Jepp cars period. They make me feel like Im ride in my kids power wheels. They are cheap plastic cars that have gerbils in the engines. I have found the same thing with most of the smaller Chevy SUV also.
I was over charged and had to call twice to get the refund that was promised. One the second call, now over ten days later, the desk attendant, Landon was very nice and professional. He sent the refund back immediately.
I rent a car for work almost every week. The staff here are always ready to help. Once, my car was not ready and I was in a hurry so they upgraded me into a nicer car !

For years I have only used Enterprise, mostly due to the staff and service. 1st time with the Huntersville NC location and am delighted to say the service from Nick was beyond excellent.

THIEF EMPLOYEES AND DISGUSTING CAR. Yes, that is what you will get when you visit this Huntersville Enterprise -- EMPLOYEES WHO STEAL. My husband went to pick up the rental car, when he arrived the car was absolutely disgusting, dog hair everywhere, stains all over the seats, and sticky liquid all over the center console. He asked the associate, Ryan, if there were any other cars because this one was not clean, only to have him reply, “This is all we have”. My husband took the car (Unfortunately, I was not there to voice my opinion on how that was unacceptable.) We returned the car, and a few hours later received a phone call that my husband had left his wallet in the car. I was so relieved that they found it and immediately went to pick it up. When my husband returned home from work I told him about his wallet and as he was going through it noticed that several high end store gift cards were missing with over $200 on them. I immediately called Enterprise and spoke with the store Manager, Nathan, who said he would talk to his employees and call me right back. Well, as anticipated no one owned up to taking the items. It’s funny though, you would think the person who found the wallet would know something…well nobody even owned up to finding the wallet even though it was sitting in their garage on a counter (found by the manager). This tells me something about the employees…OBVIOUSLY SOMEONE IS LYING, IF NO ONE WILL EVEN ADMIT TO FINDING THE WALLET. I called corporate and filed a complaint, I then received a phone call from the Regional Manager, Mark Frazier, who assured me he would pay a visit to that store the next Monday and do his own investigation. Well, that was over a week and half ago and still no phone call from Mark. Ive called corporate 2 additional times to let them know that no one has contacted me to resolve this. This is just awful customer service and overall disrespect for the customer, especially when stealing was involved. I’m in awe of Enterprise for not following up with me and resolving this issue. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.

After using Enterprise back in January and having a bad experience…crappy car, flat tire, which apparently is my headache if I don’t take the road side assistance, which wasn’t offered. Spoke to someone when I got the flat and they didn’t care. I wish I got his name but did not. While getting the tire fixed at the tire store, they mentioned that the other 3 tires had 52 lbs of pressure in them, that’s why I got a flat. The car should have around 40-42lbs only. I had an unfortunate accident with my car 2 weeks ago and the local body shop sent me back to this location for a rental. Wasn’t happy but had no choice because of my insurance company. After being picked up by Kyle and voicing my concerns, Kyle went over and beyond to help my family and I. My car has All Wheel drive and I was heading to the mountains for vacation, so Kyle called my insurance company and moved mountains to get me a 4 wheel drive truck for my trip, thank god he did because the 4 wheel drive was needed. If you need someone who cares and tries to help you then Kyle is your man… Kyle gets 5 stars but overall I give enterprise 3 stars

I was in the process of confirming a reservation online — actually pressing the confirmation button — when the website said it couldnt complete the process and to call the location to complete the reservation. When I called, the rate quoted was $20/day higher than what I was supposed to pay online. I have screenshots showing the rate quoted, but apparently the rates jacked up enormously around the same time I was trying to confirm my reservation. No one at Enterprise would honor the rate I was given online just minutes before calling. This is very poor customer service, especially when I offered to send them time-stamped screenshots of the lower rate.
Always accommodating and pleasant is the staff. Will to work with my desired vehicle and time frames. Displaying some real customer care.

I rent from this location every other week for business and customer service is top notch.
I reserved an suv thinking that I was going to be able to be selective on it and they only had one vehicle besides a truck that was available. I was going on vacation and the cost of the rental I expected more. I received a Dodge which is my least favorite but thats all that was offered.
Made a reservation. Called to get a pick up. Their response we do not have any cars. You can call back in the afternoon to see if we have any. Then called 800Number. They said they could move my reservation, but could not pick me up. I then said. So you dont rent cars and you cant pick me up? What a waste.

Unimpressed. I rent from Enterprise 5-10 times a year. My wife had picked a car up at another location that smelled badly of smoke, was dirty among other issues. I told her to swing by the closest location and swap it out. I.e. this store. The employees gave her the complete runaround, wouldnt help her and said to take it up with the location that rented the car to her. She went back to that location and they gladly helped her. They looked up the Huntersville location inventory and said they could have helped her at the Huntersville location without giving her the runaround.
By far the worst rental car company to deal with, hands down! Doesnt matter if you use the Huntersville or Cornelius location they are awful!!! Never again.
