I had the misfortune of having my car die on me while at a gas station. I sat there for a while as I tried to jump start it with no luck. Luther Towing pulled up to Kwik Trip in New Prague to fill up. The gentleman driving offered his battery pack to jump start my car. Still no luck. The gentleman suggested giving the vehicle a push and pop the clutch to start it (thank god for manuals). It took 3 attempts between him, his partner, my significant other, and myself but we were able to do it. He was the exact miracle I needed in that moment. I didn’t pay for a tow but the lengths this gentleman and his partner went through to help me out really speaks to their character and reflects well on this business. This is good karma. I hope to pay it forward some day soon. Stay awesome!

Forgot the tow drivers name already but I called my insurance company for roadside assistance to tow my 2009 Chevy Tahoe hybrid. They showed up within about 45 minutes with a rollback and the driver was very fast, polite, and professional. Although he was very quick to load, he still took care not to damage my truck at all. Definitely would recommend them if this is how all their drivers operate on calls. I can’t speak for pricing as it was covered by my insurance, but otherwise, being a tow operator myself for a different company, I was very happy with their service overall. Thanks guys, it was much appreciated!

Called for a tow after breaking an axle on the way home from work. Tyler showed up before the ETA and got the car loaded up in less than 5 minutes. The drive went smooth and he was a good guy to talk to. Far better than some other tow companies I have used

I just recently moved into my townhome community and did not realize that I had to have a permit to park in the guest parking. Unfortunately I found out the hard way and the guest car got towed. I spoke to a couple guys at the towing company including the owner Josh, who were so accommodating. I explained I had Covid and could not pick my car up . I was devastated. Not only did they stop charging me for the days I was unable to pick up the vehicle but then they personally delivered my car to my house. This is a top-notch company with great guys and I would recommend them to anyone!Thank you for the professionalism and the willingness to help someone in an unfortunate circumstance.

Because you replied quickly to my review and explained the situation. Which tells me 2 things 1. You care about your customer and 2. You care about your reputation. I can back a company like that. So Ive changed my star rating to 4 stars. You offered an explanation and not an excuse and I can appreciate that. Good reliable employees is indeed hard to find, I can understand that, but a quality business isnt built upon what a company HOPES to provide. It is built on what a reliable company CAN and will provide. Pls consider changing your website to what you are honestly able to provide. Maybe this issue only happened one time, but if not, you may want to make some changes. ...in my opinion...Original review....My father is stranded on the highway right now with a tire blown out. Its 11pm and hes exhausted. After seeing your website, I was confident that youd be able to help him in a timely manner. My Dad called you and you said that your one and only driver was on his last run for the day and so you couldnt help. If you are not a 24hr service, then for goodness sake dont advertise that you are. My Dad is stranded 90 minutes from home. We really needed your help tonight. Im upset because your website lead me to believe that youd be there when we needed you.24hr emergency assistance should not appear on your website.

Another towing company never showed after almost 3 hours waiting, we called Luther towing, dispatch was helpful and polite. She said it would be a little while as the driver was just dropping a car off in moundsview and we were in Forest Lake on 35W. Really appreciated being informed of where the driver was coming from! The driver who came was very polite, knowledgeable, and helpful. Will definately call them again if necessary!

After I crashed my car Luthor Towing provided me with excellent service. My driver was Tyler. They made me feel well informed and taken care of. They were kind enough to give me a call to let me know that their estimated time was going to be longer than the time my insurance gave me. They asked whether I needed a flatbed or a regular tow truck. Tyler gave me a call to make sure he knew where I was and then another call when he was about ten minutes away. He arrived right on time. He was very friendly and made sure I was ok before anything else. He performed his job quickly and professionally. Geiko has “roadside assistance”. They called Luther - I waited OVER 4 hours for a tow- Luther moved time of arrival TWICE- Geiko called them- Luther claimed 20 more minutes they were on their way- then cancelled!!!!!! NEVER EVER USE LUTHER TOWING - EVER EVER EVER!!!

We got our keys locked in our car, Geico sent Luther and they arrived within the hour. Once he arrived he had the door open in less than 2 minutes with zero damage or signs of entry on the car. Never used a service like this before but i would use them if i ever need it again.

Excellent service! Arrived in nearly half the time stated and the driver even called me 20 minutes prior to let me know where he was. And this was after I waited for 2 and a half hours (no joke, they kept pushing my arrival time back) for a different towing company to come tow my car.

My moms car wouldn’t start nor could we jump it. Called my insurance company. Within an hour her car was towed right back to our home. Tyler did an outstanding job with keeping in touch with us about his ETA. And most of all did his job with absolute pride. #Tyleristhebest!

Disrespectful drivers. I wasnt even using there services. I was pumping gas at a station and the driver of Luther Towing started honking at me while I was still filling up my truck. He came in the the station and knew good and well I was just starting to pump. After a few words he shouted out of the truck he peeled off like a crazy man. I know I will never call them if it comes to needing a Towing service, I can only imagine how they would treat my truck.

Luther towing really impressed me today, I needed a lowered vehicle towed and Luther showed up on time, with the proper equipment to get my car safely loaded without damaging the body. wonderful experience in an unfortunate event. Thanks again!

Had nothing bad to say about these guys. I have locked my keys in my car a number of times. They came and unlocked it for me with no issues. I had a tranny go out in my car. They towed it right way. They were careful with my car and did a great job. I recommend them to every one. They are very nice and courteous. I will be using them in the future with any towing i may need.

The driver who helped me was very nice & professional. 10 minutes after my vehicle was dropped at the auto shop and the driver left. I get a call from a SUPER AGGRESSIVE lady demanding additional payments. No one including the driver or my issuer said anything about additional charges. She was shaking me down for more money after the fact. I said I was not paying an additional dime. She then threatened me. Saying they were going to tow my truck. She then hung up me. I immediately called my issuer and explained what had happened. After trying to shake me down for more money, her aggressive threats and yelling. Everything was resolved by my issuer. I would be very very leery of using this towing service. As they apparently make more money shaking down & thereatening stranded motorists.

Car broke down in Minneapolis on coldest day of the month, so far. Geico sent Von to retrieve my car. I was waiting in a McDonalds to keep warm when the phone roang and Von from Luther Towing informed me that he was waiting for me in the parking lot ready to go. Wow! Von was very pleasant and I thoroughly enjoyed the ride to my mechanic. He even told me he would drive me to my house due to the cold, though I only live half a block away. Thank you so much for great service.

Best Service around! Helped me change my tire in bad weather. They were concerned with my safety and were quick to get to me. Extremely nice! Definitely recommend them!

Took three hours to wench my car out of the ditch. Guy who shows up didnt know what he was doing, didnt have the proper straps, literally had to call his friend to come help who never showed up. Eventually I just had to tell him how to wench the car out. After all this they charge me an extra $130 more than what they orginally quoted me. These guys are a joke.

Editing review after speaking to driver. Tow companies were understandably slammed given the weather from Wednesday and Thursday. Another tow company never showed up. I still feel the estimates were too far off and wish the tardiness would have been communicated.-Responding to owner comment and for future readers reference: It was -30 two days ago, today it a low of positive 30 degrees. Yesterday it was 5 degrees I think? All tow companies had a back log. Ultimately I was told 6 hours ETA at 8am, the tow truck driver showed up 5:20 per my records.

. They went to the wrong address. My car wss the only black one in the lot and my husband stood outside in the cold. When i called both people i spoke with had such an attitude. Requested a tow at 8:54pm. said thed be here at 9:50pm, about an hour, totally exceptable. We call at 10:15 and says it will be about 45 more minutes. The driver is on the way. At 11:15 we call and the dispatch says he will call the driver and have him call us. 15 minutes go by and no call. I call back and he says same thing. drivings leaving coon rapids l, will be there in 20 mins(coon rapids is 45 mins from where we are)and will call us. He calls us at might night and says Im leavi g coon rapids and will be there in 45-50 mins. Dispatch has to stop lying to customer . 8:45pm ordered and they showed up at 12:45pm.

I was met by William and after intros he went to work. This young man knows his job with NO waisted motion.Caught a lift in the cab and he drives that big rig like he owns it. Very satisfied with Luther Towing. Total professionals.

This place towed my AWD SUV with a Hook & Chain/ Sling tow truck which anyone with common sense knows your not suppose to do. They told me they didnt know not to do this. My rear differential was wrecked. They told me they fixed it and replaced the differential even though it was obvious something was wrong when driving it. Took it to the dealer a week later for them to look at it and they told me no one had touched my rear diff and that the bad tow had basically ruined my car. Now in process of taking them to court. Real shady company. I was told (dont know for a fact) employees are required to post fake good reviews for better ratings. What a joke!
