My car got towed at 1 am, they told me that I to release my car it was cash only (although they have a credit/debit card machine for any other situation), I was informed that since Saturday and Sunday they are closed it was a $75 gate fee to send someone to release the vehicle. As I was on the way to pick up the vehicle they informed me that their driver had gotten a call to do a tow, I asked if since the driver had to be there regardless for towing two vehicles if they could waive the $75 fee since he wasn’t going there just to release by vehicle and they denied that request. My car was on their lot for less than 12 hours and I paid almost $300. Their driver Henry was super nice, however the companies business plan is not customer friendly at all.
Was taken care of quickly and as promptly as possible given how busy AAA sounded. Super reasonable pricing for our tow and Thomas was super friendly and professional.
Called AAA and then sent me those guys and literally told me to get another guy because he simply didn’t want to do it.
Showed up quickly and was very friendly.
I called AAA to get a jump for my car. When a technician from this company arrived he did jump my car, but told me my battery was dead and would not hold a charge. I know from past experience that if you simply drive your car after getting a jump the battery will charge. The technician tried to sell me a battery and when I declined he asked me to turn the car off to see if it would turn back on. Obviously if you turn the car off before you drive it to charge the battery it will not start. I did not do what he asked, so he left. I proceeded to drive the car on the highway to charge the battery and just as I knew it would, the battery is now holding a charge. I feel like this company was trying to take advantage of me by lying about my car needing a new battery. If I didnt know better they would have been successful in taking advantage of me.
The idea of having your car towed looks good but these guys fooled me by lying that I had to let them to bring my car to their place. My car broke down 5 miles before getting home and these guys towed it 20 miles away in a opposite direction just to screw me with their day parking fees.Thats their idea of a fair business.Shame on their services.
I was broken down on 495 at around 11PM on a Saturday night. My van got a flat tire and I was forced to pull over. Thomas helped us (wife and I) over and beyond what was expected. Keep people like Thomas employed please. He got to use in roughly 20 minutes too. Thank You Guys!!!
Nice people and Great service.
Very accommodating, helpful & knowledgeable.
Sean from Country side came out for a battery replacement on one of our cars and called triple A for him to do another car while he was there and was more than willing to help and give us answers and very professional and pleasant to deal with. Thank you Sean for an excellent experience
Very professional in a difficult situation with a towed car. Great customer service.
Called AAA for a simple tire change. They sent these people and the guy could not get the tire off the car. Really the tow truck guy cant change a tire. Thanks for nothing.
Had my pickup loaded with a 20ft car trailer with a 1929 Model A on it. The pickup broke down and Mark from Countryside came right to the rescue! Got to us before the State PD could. After getting on site we were off I-495 within 15 minutes. Very prompt, accommodating service, got us to our destination on time. Professional, clean, and cautious with your cargo.
Arrived very quickly. Mark was great had my car unlocked in a few minutes.Thank you!
1/11/2020 - Car blew a tire on 495 N between Bolton and Clinton exit, roughly 10:30pm. Truck arrived promptly after contacting state police. Driver offered to tow me for free off the highway before going further once he found out I didn’t know where to tow to and didn’t have AAA. Asked about the problem, then offered to look for the spare tire and replace it for me for $75. Found the tire (underneath the car! Didn’t even know it was there!) and took care of it quickly and efficiently. Was kind and courteous the whole time, put me at ease (first time this has happened to me!) . Wonderful experience.
Great service, the driver was very polite, and very knowledgeable. A real professional. Very reasonable rates. Called, they told me when he would be there and he showed up right on time.I hope never to have to call them again, but they are at the top of my list if I need a towI almost wonder if some of the negative comments are from their competitors???
Was in Hudson from out of state, and my car wouldnt start after shutting it off at the gas station. I called my insurance company and they sent Countryside. The driver was very quick and professional. He loaded our car up no problem in a small parking lot, let us ride with him to the first garage, who wouldnt touch our car. He then knew of another garage just down the road and towed it to them no problem. He let it stay on the flat bed until we knew they would be able to fix it. He was amazing. He made a stressful day much less stressful! Thanks!
Had my car towed for snow removal and even though it was exoensive, the staff was extremely nice and made room for me to get my car out
We all know towing is a frustrating industry to deal with, but this company in particular is horrible. A tow truck came to tow my friend who ran out of gas on 495 on a state trooper’s orders, so we can’t blame him for doing his job. The officer also suggested to bring some gas and he did not. Once at the site, he quickly loaded the car on the truck without listening to what we had to say and took the car by force. My friend didn’t have any money to pay and barely any to get gas. Once off the highway, we figured out what the plan would be and we decided to let him take the car to the lot while we went to go get some money. At this time, the tower was smoking a cigarette and wouldn’t have the decency to step out of the truck. I found this to be extremely unprofessional. After we got the money, we navigated to the towing company’s headquarters to pick up the car. When my friend went to the office he was cursed out by one of the employees simply for entering the room. As I looked over at the truck the employee was driving I noticed it said “support your local hooker” on the sign in big letters. All these things adding up, I find this company completely illegitimate, rude, and unprofessional.
Amazing customer service. The dispatcher is friendly, helpful, and very communicative. Response time was fast. Truck drivers were pleasant and took great care with my car. I highly recommend!
Fantastic tow place. Reliable and fair. If I needed a tow would use these guys again.
I was driving next to a countryside tow truck in hudson last night, where the driver was texting and driving. No surprise that the driver was driving erratically and almost caused an accident while coming to a stop at a red light! His license plate was 5114.
Excellent service
Countryside is the best of the best. Top notch service from every employee ive come in contact with. Fast and reliable service! Keep up the good work
Do not trust your vehicle to this company. Last weekend I saw a Countryside tow truck sailing down route 2 at 60 miles per hour towing a blue car with the driver’s side door open. I submitted a photo of it to go with this review because you really have to see it to believe it. I feel bad for the owner of the car because his/her stuff was blowing out of the car all over the highway. They should be cited for improperly secured load and littering. You have to wonder if that car got where it was going with the door still attached.
From 1 tow company to another i must say you guys are awesome. I broke down today in my ramptruck and you guys saved me. You where on sen in a very timely manner, driver was totally professional and you guys got me and my truck back with no problem. I will definitely recommend you too others. Thank you once again. Fred@ All Ways Towing
Thank you to Justin Goldstein for saving me! He towed my car to a safer area and changed my tire! He was very nice! Great customer service!
AAA needs to end the contract with these guys. My motorcycle broke down country side showed up with out a motorcycle dolly, the driver asked me to use the controls on the flatbed truck while he pushed my motorcycle on the bed I refused. I rode my motorcycle onto the flatbed, asked if he had a dolly he said no, that he was going to strap it while it was on the kickstand, typically something you don’t do. Then he questioned my reg sticker on my bike I explained it was good until December. he said if we were going to have a problem he could take it off the truck and I could wait again. I asked him how many motorcycle tows he have done. His rude response that he has been doing this for ten years. next time I need anything towed from this area I’ll make sure to push my road king back to Worcester before I use countryside towing again !
Transmission quit. Fortunately they called Countryside Motors and Towing. Their flat bed tow truck was there before I could get a coffee and walk back to the truck! I had my vehicle back home in less than 30 minutes (12 miles away). FAST, dependable, prefessional, courteous service.
Two months ago my husband, a few friends, and my dog got an accident. The police called Countryside Motor & Towing. They took my husband and one friend with they. They were dropped off 2 miles down the road at a dunking donuts. They had to walk to Country Motor & Towing where the other friend and they dog was dropped off. My friend with the dog was dropped off at their location after they were refusing to take my dog in the truck. The driver that was with the dog allowed my dog to ride with them. I then had to drive an hour and half to get them. Once every one was at Countryside Motor & Towing finally! We called the owner to get some things out of the truck. The owner wasnt allowing us to get our belongings. After 45 minutes of waiting AAA service got there and let my husband grab his belonging. The owner called AAA guy and was yelling at him for letting my husband more belongings out. I was a horrible experience with them and we will be calling some one else if they show up if there is an accident again. I will not recommend to anyone. They were rude and didnt work with us at all.
Broke down in median of 495. Called AAA. Countryside came to my rescue and drove me to my home garage. 50+ miles away. The driver was fanfrickentastic. He made an unpleasant situation, quite bearable. Thanks sooooo much!
They towed my caprice today, it had no breaks and was sitting in crud for over a year but every thing went smooth and it was quick. driver was very polite, i think his name was justin.
Countryside towed my cousins vehicle (shame on us for parking in a lot where we shouldnt have). When contacting the police, they were unaware of the vehicle being towed and had to track down who had towed the vehicle (failure to notify?). Upon finding out that Countryside had the vehicle, we called them and were told to bring $130 in CASH (creepy, right?) to the service yard and then call back and wait for someone to come meet us. Mind you this was at 9pm at night so a little weird. So not having hundreds of dollars in cash, we found an ATM, drove to the location and called. About 15 minutes later, someone drove past us and started unlocking the gate further down. We approached the young, heavily tattood man and asked if he was there to provide us with our vehicle. The simple response was Yeah... as he walked away from us. We followed him to the office where he said $130. My cousin, having visited the ATM only had $20 bills and offered $140. He stated he did not have change. I had a $5 and asked if $125 would be sufficient. The young man said, Ill have to call my uncle. After calling his uncle, he stated, He said to come back when you have $130. Incredulously, I replied, Or he can come down and give us change $5 in change!15 more minutes past, during which time another casually dressed man showed up to the dark lot. I walked over and asked if either of them had change for a $20 so we could simple be on our way and get this over with. The taller, recently arrived man stared me down without response. I repeated my question and he replied in an intimidating fashion, Someone is on the way with change and continued to stare me down. I walked away. Another man showed up shortly after and finished the cash transaction and we did get our vehicle back, but this rated as one of my worst ever customer service and extortion transactions. After all, towing in the city of Boston is $90, but somehow in the woods of central Mass its $130??
Justin couldn’t have been nicer, easy and quick tow.
The best service ever and they was very fast getting to me
Impounds suck. Pretty standard business practices for an impound. Cost a lot and they want their money. Arguing storage fees is pointless. I assume they do normal work too but my experience with them was as an impound lot. They are what they are.
I have used them for my trucking company 3 times. I have never had a problem with them. I would recommend them and would use them again.
They are very helpful but way too overpriced for an alternator. Towing not bad since I was close it only took them 10 min to arrive.
My car broke down yesterday morning and the tow truck arrived 15 minutes after me calling. Never had such fast service from a tow company before. Would definitely recommend.
We broke down due to a bad alternator on a Sunday night. They came out and got us off the highway and home safetly. Very thankful for them!
Never use this towing company. They stole wireless speaker and money from the car while in their possession. Called them and they said too busy to talk to me about it and hung up. Reported them. Thieves! Plenty other honest towing companies out there.
Great Service
I would HIGHLY recommend this company to everyone. Ive never had automatic start before and didnt realize that after running for a period of, when it shuts off it also locks all the doors. Well I loaded my moms car up with five trips followed by loading it with my 2 year old. Just as I shut his door the car the engine shut off. When I couldnt open the drivers door I panicked knowing the keys were locked in with him. Brian from Countryside Towing came and was AWESOME. He had the door opened, my son safe and all under 5 minutes of me calling AAA... LITERALLY under 5 mins. I am so grateful for theyre speedy professional help, so thank u Brian!!! I cant tell you how much I appreciated your help tonite :)
Got a flat tire on Rt.2. AAA contacted Countryside and they were prompt, professional, and friendly. I would use them again in a heartbeat.
Got a flat tire on I290 130 this morning (March 10) called AAA because the bolts on the tire were stuck and couldnt get it out. Driver shows up first words out of his mouth are dont you think youd be smart enough to move the car before I got here? From there I was told his life was more important than mine so I should be the one to stand on the side of the highway, mind you I dont wanna see anyone hurt but really thats what you tell a customer?, was called stupid yet again for not pulling over Closer to the guard rail. Never been treated like that by anyone before. I get it was early in the morning but I didnt purposely pop a tire. I didnt wanna be on the side of that highway as much as he did. But nope 130 AM and Im getting my balls busted and called stupid by a stranger sent to help me. Youre guys at countryside have great customer service skills. Hope I never need help out that way again!
Not the best experience but far from the worst. The guy was a bit rude at first but then in the truck started to be pretty nice.
Terrible service. Damaged vehicle, and denied it. Very over priced. Worst tow company Ive ever had involvement with.
A real rat hole towe service, way over priced....
This company drives loud trucks up and down my street to go to Hudson Center. Kicker is they never actually tow anyone!!!!
Probably the biggest scum bags/ scammers in central MA but what do you really expect from a tow company.
The WORST!!!!!! THIVES!!!!!! Do yourself a favor and do not use this towing co.
Bad service
