I was stranded with brake issues and they got me back on my trip in a short time. Friendly and helpful crew!
Vulc-Tech Tire is a first class operation. Every repair and servicing of our vehicles has always been done correctly. Dan has been a pleasure to work with every time. Their prices are excellent and their mechanics are experienced and the quality work shows. I recommend this shop with confidence. You wont be disappointed! Vincent
If I could give no stars, I would. I went to this shop for A STATE INSPECTION ONLY. Everything was going well, the guy even told me to go get breakfast and so I did. While I was having breakfast, I got a call from them saying I needed to come back and talk to them. They told me I had a power steering hose that was leaking and I wouldnt pass inspection until it was replaced. I was shocked because I had just completed an oil change VERY RECENTLY and there was no leak. But I get that things happen to cars and maybe it was a freak thing. I was quoted $800 to change the hose that would take 6 hours to do. They made multiple attempts to het me to keep the car there to have the work done and even appeared mad or upset that I wasnt going to leave the care with them. I kindly told them I wanted to do my research and get other prices which seemed to have made them even more mad. This all raised questions and concerns to me that they were kind of being pushy about having them to the work. I have a dash camera, the only purpose I have for it is in an event of a car accident or if someone damages my car. As I was driving home, my dash camera FELL OFF the mount and landed into my hand. I noticed it was also turned off. This raised more and more alarms for me. So I get home and check the footage and GUESS WHAT !? I have their technician TOUCHING MY PERSONAL PROPERTY WITHOUT MY PERMISSION and turning off my camera. SKETCHY, SKETCHY, SKETCHY. WHY do you care if there is a camera on? You should be doing your job. I got the job done elsewhere who was WAY nicer and FOR LESS THAN HALF THE PRICE !! DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE A FEMALE.
Got my inspection done here. Simple and fast.
Very disappointed. They wouldnt pass my car for inspection due to wiper blades. They werent that bad at all. Wont be going back there again.
Do NOT come here if you’re a female. They are going to tell you your power steering is leaking and charge you a ridiculous insane amount of money! Find a more HONEST and TRUSTWORTHY mechanic!!
I started using Vulc-Tech about 8 years ago. I found them to be honest, very competent, friendly and thorough. I have never had them try to sell me something that wasnt needed. If something is needed, they explain thoroughly and sometimes even show me the issue. I highly recommend them
I MOVED TO NASHUA 2 YEARS AGO AND HAVE HAD MY CARS SERVICEDHERE SINCE AND IVE BEEN VERY SATISFIED AT THE QUALITY OF SERVICE, AND PRICING ON EACH OF MY VISITS AND I TEND TO BE PRETTY FUSSYWHEN IT COMES TO MY VEHICLES.
Vulc-Tech failed an inspection on my vehicle and then insisted I needed rotors/pads both front and rear at $860 (fairly high for pads and rotors for a Mazda). I knew the fronts were recommendable and had already done the rear. Took the car to another shop and they passed the car after I choose to do the fronts even though they said I could pass without it. Needless to say, wont be headed back here.
Very nice people working there, they dont make you feel stupid.
Beware!!! My wife went for an inspection. They failed her for a leaking powersteering rack. When I got home I got under the vehicle. There were no signs of a leak. We drove it, checked again, fine. 1,500 quote. Took it to a different mechanic, it passed inspection! Bad mechanic or dishonest, either way, no good.
Moved to Hudson a few years ago and after trying a handful of different mechanics (and getting swindled more than Id like to admit) I can safely say Im sticking with Vulc-Tech. Theyre always friendly and willing to show me their work if they say I need anything. Theyre quick to inform me and other customers I was waiting with of new developments as they worked, having constant communication about options, prices and whats happening in the vehicles. You can tell by the way they chat with their customers that everyone feels welcome and at ease. Theyve done good work for me and my husbands vehicles and we will be sticking with them.
Always go here for my routine maintanence, very open and honest business. They don’t hesitate to invite me into the shop to show me in person what any problems are, and what they can do for me. Prices are average to slightly above average for an auto repair shop, but the hospitality and the quality of the work performed easily justifies this.I’ll continue to come here as a happy customer.
Friendly, great service
Dishonest ! Was charged $668 for a job covered by warranty. They lied & said it wasnt. Got my money bak wen I told them Betley Chevy sed the job sh be under $300 if Not under warranty! They sell u stuff u dont need! I bet you need struts on your car!!! Notcalling to let them know they lied!!
Been going here for 10 plus years. Always fair, honest and efficient. They really care about their customers and want to ensure you have a safe vehicle. I feel fortunate to have found such a great place. Dan is on top of his game. He’s a great guy to have up front. Never a hassle with him. Yeah, cars aren’t cheap and it sucks to have to get a repair, but they have fair prices and warranty their parts and labor - no questions asked. I went to the dealership for a covered warranty item and they gave me such a hassle before fixing it. Even getting your oil done from a certified mechanic makes a difference. My friends vette blew an engine because a jiffy lube forgot to put the cap on. They don’t gauge you here and just do honest work for a honest price. Keep it simple people!
Very good work. Easy to schedule appointments. Very personable owners and staff
Ive been doing business with Vulc-Tech for 20+ years and Ive always received great and affordable services.
Have been using this mechanic since moving to Hudson, they are honest and friendly. Slight on the pricey side but you get what you pay for. I have never had any issues with their work and they even helped me purchase a new car. I highly recommend them
Very good and smart mechanics, but they tend to over inspect and slightly overcharge. Good if you want a reliable job done, but there are cheaper honest alternatives for a better price nearby. If money is no object, these are your guys.
VulcTech has been wonderful to me. The mechanics and Gino, the owner, are honest, hardworking, and very fair. They go above and beyond to find me the best deal on big mechanical issues. They are also so accommodating when I need something quick, like windshield wipers, that broke in a storm. I am very fortunate to be a customer of this fine company!!!
I definitely would not go back. In the spring of 2016 they indicated I needed an axle seal and the cost seemed a little high. I had gone in for an oil change and inspection. Paid for oil change and asked for a written estimate on the axle seal. Later, in summer of 2016 my neighbor was having a problem starting her car and we jumped it and I followed her down to Vulc Tec knowing they would be able to look at it in a short period of time. They took the car in to check it out wrote down her cell number and. I went to lunch with my neighbor. While at lunch she didnt hear back from the shop. When we got back to shop they said it was the battery and without calling my neighbor with battery options they went ahead changed it out. I was very embarrassed for what they did. My neighbor said she was very unimpressed by their lack of courtesy in assuming she would want them to put in a new without calling her first. The upshot, they lost opportunity to gain a new customer and regain the trust of a former customer. I was wrong to recommend them.
A very great place to bring you car for all its needs and very affordable. They really take good care of your car
Great service center and excellent customer service. Knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommended.
Wow I brought my car in this morning had some problems with the tire within 30 minutes I had a estimate and couple hours later my car was ready .. if this was any other place I would of had to wait a day or two.. gene was so friendly and polite has great customer service .. thank you so much
In August I brought our car in for inspection, they failed it saying it needed a tie rod and it would cost like $350 bucks to fix and they could fix it now. I have a family member who is a certified mechanic, licensed MA inspection agent who checked it out before we brought it there. So I bring the car back to him he said there is nothing wrong with the tie rod, have them show you exactly where they are saying it is loose. My wife brought it back, owner said he would show her, he put it on the lift and there was nothing wrong with the tie rod, said the mechanic was mistaken, apologized, said the guy was new, then he put a sticker on the car. Now I bring my car there to get a sticker at 7:50 in the morning, the counter guy looks at me when I walk in, it has only been a couple months since then, says he is all backed up, did I make an appointment, I said no, your big sign outside says no appointment needed for state inspections. He said you should call and make an appointment and I will try to see when I could fit you in, I said I will have to take it somewhere else I need to get it inspected it is overdue, he says ok have a good day. You shouldnt have a sign that says no appointment needed if you need an appointment and there was only one guy in the lobby at 7:50 am, you couldnt do an inspection, we used this place for stickers and oil changes, but it has gone down hill over the past couple years, time to look for some place new in town.
The guys here always take such good care of me!
Sorry to say but disappointed!! The guy at desk is rude! Propably because work wasnt done there.I failed inspection and estimate was 500.00 for bondo on the little rust on both sides of car. 4 hours of labor they quoted. My Fiance did it for 30.00 (parts) and took 1.5 and he is not a professional, came out awesome, also spray painted it. They charged a fee when I returned for my sticker since I fixed myself obviously.I failed last year due to brakes at another auto place and they did not charge fees when I returned. NEVER had to pay a fee expecially when I originally paid for the sticker. Also had to remind them to retorque the tires. Dont they read the paperwork? Look at the 60 miles I already drove car? Not very good. Only went back because I was desperate. Guy I know is in Massachusetts so I cant get sticker. Never again though. All there estimates are 3x more than others. I have brought all their estimates to a friend in the business and he laughs at how they rip people off. Not funny but sad. I get it, they need to make a profit however not 3x the value to return customers. I get oil changes at another place now. 19.99 and very Honest!!Very disappointed!!
Despite being a customer for I believe 10 years, Gene and Vultech showed us complete disloyalty, greed and deceit. Gene told one of my sons that his car was worthless and they would take a loss on it, but then turned around and put it up for sale for over $4K. My other son suffered heat stroke in his long commute during a very hot summer w/o A/C because the Vultech guys shut off his A/C and then later said it should not have been shut off. Alot of people told us not to trust these guys, but thought we could over the years. However, we were wrong.
Con artists, I dont know how they sleep at night. Told me it would cost 1300.00$ to get my car inspected. Go to pick up the car with new tires etc and a failed sticker and they tell me it will be another 1300$ at that point I was screwed, Gene, his wife and partner are all scumbags!
Friendly staff, fast service (State Inspection), and great price!
The mechanic that was in charge of my car repairs was really awesome - understood my goal of making my car safe to drive, but not spending any extra on comforts, as I plan to replace the car soon. I had been to Vulc-Tech once before, but was lured away to Gurneys auto repair by a friend. I found Gurneys to be nice, but expensive, whereas Vulc-tech seems to be both nice and a good value. If you need a ride home/work in town or to a neighboring town theyll be glad to do that.
Took my car here to replace the timing chain, i was given a cheap quote over the phonesoon after i get a call from the mechanic giving me a more higher quote...when i go to pick up my vehicle the total went up to $1200.00 from an earlier quote of $300.00.recently, took my car to TOYOTA of NASHUA for a airbag replacement (recall) and come to find out from the service tech,,, told me i need a new timing chain /gasket replacement!!AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST IF YOU VALUE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR CAR!!!CROOKS !!! DISHONEST MECHANICS!!! THE WORST IVE SEEN!!!
Reliable, fast friendly and done right. Always fair and been a customer for 25 years.
Mechanic with YOUR best interest in mind.
Professional courteous service.
Dishonest and money hungry. Do not recommend.
Should rename their business to vulture tech, because these guys prey on their customers.
Professional and honest service.
Initially I thought they were reasonable, the 2nd time I went there they wanted me to spend nearly 1500 on a truck worth 3000.then after deciding what to have done.Im on disability and very limited income, the service writer said he was giving me special pricing,I find out they overcharged me 100.yea they really took care of me.also in the process of pricing they were going to charge me almost 500 for a tune up.rip off artists
Best mechanic in town
Very professional.
Fast and efficient!
Honest business.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Needed inspection. Check engine light was on. They said it was an injector .and rear brakes.$ 500 for rear brake and rotor should be $300. $500 for injector should be $375. Now my car ticks. They said we changed injector thats all. DONT GO HERD. CHECK OUT PARTS PRICES. They get a dealer discount then mark the parts up double or more. Beware.
