Bought Rooto Drain Opener for $18. Did not clear clog. No web site. Sold by Ace hardware. Company has bad product, customer service and safety practices. And is not rated by BBB. Chinese owned.

My second day on the job I got burned by the powdered acid called caustic. Because the supervisor Rob, failed to give me the proper safety equipment to handle the acid I was working with. I now have permanent scars on my arm from where it got burned.This company has had others try to sue after certain injurys. I was advised not to work there and i did it anyway. So let me me a warning to anyone who plans to work here. If you like your skin the way it is, dont work here.

WARNING: The packaging on Rooto products are unsafe, and have caused serious injuries to many people. Theyve been sued over this multiple times, and have even been sued by their home township for property damages. This company is a cancer in Michigan, cutting corners on consumer safety while the owner (Joon Moon, who has had multiple other companies shut-down due to unsafe business practices) hides in China. Rooto products are NOT SAFE to handle, even when unopened. Stay far away.
