Roys has always been good to us. They have great service and fair prices.

I knew, taking my vehicle to Roys, that they were going to produce high quality work. Even so, they far exceeded my expectations. They are professional, timely, caring and kind. They even have a free ride service that drove me all the way back to my home in Lansing when I didnt have a ride back. This place is more than just an engine shop. It is a family business that cares about its customers far beyond what is expected. Much thanks.

The shop is clean, professional, and beyond helpful. I went in to get my new wheels and tires mounted and balanced a couple days ago and I am extremely happy with the results, not a scratch on my wheels! I wasted a weeks worth of time trying to find a shop that would do this for me but everyone, besides Roy’s, denied my business due to my tires being slightly too narrow for my wheels but Roy’s did it with no problem for a great price! I will be back for an alignment and for any other work I need done, I won’t go anywhere else and you shouldn’t either!

Loved how they do a courtesy inspection! Made me feel a lot safer leaving and knowing what needs to be touched up on my car.

I brought my Chrysler 300S here this past week along with some new struts/shocks and springs I purchased online that Roy’s Autoworks installed for me. I had a great experience here. Ryan was very helpful with any questions I had, additional parts I needed, as well as keeping me updated on the progress of my car. They were very fast yet professional with their work. Weak starter was diagnosed and replaced along with broken rear exhaust pipe. Vehicle was repaired in a timely fashion. All communications were both cordial and professional. Business office and waiting areas are clean. I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others.

Having moved recently to Howell, I wanted an established reputable auto servicing entity available for my two vehicles. That said, this was my first time using Roy’s based on some friends’ recommendations. I was extremely happy with this group. Ryan was very professional & easy to work with as was Josh! I also felt their pricing was very good & they completed the repairs on my car sooner then I expected. I will definitely use Roy’s going forward for all my vehicle servicing needs!

I was quoted one price, they decided I needed another 1,100.in repairs, they wouldnt fix what I brought it in for.so, tried to tell me I needed the other repairs or they wouldnt do it.my truck is a 2005,so of course the parts are wearing, its old! I dont want a new truck, just wanted the repair done I bought it in for. Josh, whome I was dealing with,said, after they had my truck all day,well well try to put together some coupons and try to get you a discount... He hasnt contacted me yet! Update, I did speak with Josh, he had some medical issues and could not get back to me we have agreed on a price, they did their best to get back with me and try to make it right. Work hasnt been done yet Ill do a follow up after that next week.

I have an old truck that needed some unconventional methods of repair. These guys didnt give up. They got creative & found a way to finish the job when others wouldnt. Highly recommended. Be patient, theres a reason theyre so busy.

I will definitely go to Roys Autoworks for any service I need done. I have a 2008 Cobalt. They do a great diagnostic workup and are not pushy at all of the work that needs to get done. I got my brakes, front wheel bearings, a new battery, oil change, wheel alignment at price I thought was low for all the work done. Thanks Roys. Ill always refer them.

Roy’s has taken care of my family and I’s vehicles for years now. Always professional service at a reasonable price. Won’t go anywhere else for vehicle maintenance and repairs after this last visit because they actually took pictures of what was wrong and emailed them to me with an inspection report. I mean who else does that?!?! There was no pressure to replace anything either as it was left completely up to me, they just gave me the recommendations. Thank you Roy’s for continuing to offer phenomenal customer service and really upping the game in vehicle repairs!

I needed a flat repaired and it was 20 minutes before closing. I am not from Howell and needed to get home. They took the car, made the repair and balanced the wheel. I cant say enough positive about this business. :-) I would recommend them to anyone in the Howell MI area or need emergency repairs if in that area.

Great place to have your vehicle fixed

Roy’s Auto does wonderful work and they know Volkswagens. Staff is always helpful, accommodating, and friendly. My Passat is a 2003 and they keep it running great.

They were able to quickly and accurately figure out what was causing my abs system to needlessly activate when braking.

I cannot recommend this place enough. Glenn and Josh are both very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They were very informative about the problems with my Jeep and kept me thoroughly updated throughout the entire duration of time that it was at their shop. I have had my Jeep back now for awhile and have had no issues whatsoever. I will definitely be going back to Roy’s and will refer people there moving forward!

After several quotes from a few local shops, it was recommended that I call Roys. They were very professional but unfortunately had a 10 day wait to perform an a/c compressor install. I didnt want to wait the 10 days so I installed the compressor myself. I did ask if they could evacuate my refrigerant before I performed the job which they were able to do in about a half hour and for a reasonable price. I also had them install a new accumulator/drier and recharge the system when I finished the compressor install. Again, I felt the price was fair and the work was excellent. It was very apparent that they were busy for a good reason. This is the best shop Ive been to and will be my new shop going forward. Its difficult to find a good auto mechanic but I think weve found that in Roys. Thanks for the good work gentleman!

Last week was the first time I needed car service since moving to the area. Roys came highly recommended by a neighbor and friend that is a longtime community member and customer. Roys was awesome, they got my car in and fixed, communicated well through the process and had an excellent price. The office was clean and neat and the employees were great on the phone and in person. Roys has earned a dedicated customer!

After thinking the Cadillac dealer was my only option, Josh felt very confident that my issue could be addressed. I am very pleased to say the electrical issue was identified and repaired. Josh even called me at the end of the day with a progress report. Roys runs like a business that really cares, very uncommon these days. Highly recommend.

Roy’s was great to deal with. They were expecting my truck to get towed there. They started looking at it right away. Diagnosed it, fixed it and was on my way that same day. Less than half the cost of what the dealer quoted for rear brakes! Plus only took an hour. Everyone who walks in the door is treated like friends or family here. Many have a connection to the owner or other staff. They are always busy but very efficient. I highly recommend!!

I was hesitant to let anyone local work on my Viper, but Rich at Roy’s was excellent. Work was quick and they were able to resolve the issue same day. I had brought my truck in (252,000 miles) to have a used front differential installed. Being as I opted to buy a used one from a junk yard it carried no warranty. A month later my truck started making noise and I thought the parts I had brought them were bad, turns out they were fine and the noises I was hearing was something else we determined after two trips back to Roy’s. Roy and his mechanics spent nearly two hours of their time (nearly a 200$ value) at no charge to me. The mechanic was very thorough and made sure to explain to me what he thought was causing the sound and why and went above and beyond explaining some other issues with my truck. That could be causing my problem. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to bring any of my families vehicles back to Roys the service was beyond what I expected and the original turn around time was quick

They charged me $233.00 for a oil change and they did a compression test on cylinders stay away total rip off there expensive, never again,after I left this place I went to another mechanic he said I had a bad pcv valve and that fixed oil consumption problem, this place Roys autoworks rip me off 😢my review of this place is not a lie

Took my sons car in because it had no heat. The did an overall assessment and recommended the necessary service plus other items that needed attention. Very friendly staff and fast service. Selected this repair facility based on the positive Google reviews. I was looking for a complete vehicle safety/ maintenance inspection on a vehicle I was looking to purchase. While everyone was friendly on the phone and I received a thorough inspection summary (very convenient!), the $60 SAFETY inspection failed to catch that all of my wheel lug nuts were LOOSE. I drove away thinking I was in a safe vehicle, only to have my wheel nearly fall off a few hundred miles later! Additionally, when the battery was being tested the vehicle lost power and it caused issues with the vehicle’s navigation system.I was initially very pleased with the inspection and service I received from Roy’s, but I was later disappointed when I found some major items were missed.

Excellent is how I would describe Roy’s auto shop. I was out in Howell looking at a 2006 F-150 and just needed a general inspection. They were very through, they’re notes were detailed and easy to comprehend and they also took pictures of certain things that needed to be addressed. Without them I could have made a 9,000 dollar mistake and purchased that truck, it only cost 65$ for the inspection. Any service you need Roy’s is the place!!

Now more than ever, you need a garage you can trust, and you can definitely trust this place. I recently took my daughters 07 suv in to diagnose and repair whatever was causing her check engine light to stay on. Long story mercifully shorter, it was a sensor on a ring on an axle. Being an over-engineered German suv, you cant replace just the ring. Instead of merely defaulting to the factory part which was $900, they took it upon themselves to find an after-market part which was only $200. Who does that? These guys ... these guys do that!

Roys did a great job on my recent auto repair. Very pleased with service attuides and price. Only down fall was the turn around time fir the repair. But in their defence great honest service sometimes you have to have a little patience. Most definitely make an appointment and theyll have my business from here on out

Found this place after reading reviews. Excellent service from front desk to the mechanics who fix the problems. Straight forward and honest, which is rare nowadays. Believing in Customer Service again after my experience here !Communication was great as well, they call or text with updates regularly. My alternator died on Saturday. I had my car towed there on Saturday. They were extremely busy but realized it was urgent I get my car repaired ASAP it was ready Monday eve. VERY professional and customer service oriented.

Customer care lives again! This is my second visit to Roys and Josh working the front knocked it out of the park again for me. Day before the 4th of July and ready to hit the road with the family when disaster struck us :-(. Called two local dealerships prior who were booked up when I should have known better and called Roys first. They not only had me come in so they could diagnose it to even see what the issue was but was able to get the parts and make the repairs in time to save my families vacation.
