I ve been reaching out to these guys for the past 6 months to pick up one measly container with their name on it, and I havent gotten anywhere. I just keep getting the runaround. I talk to a different person every time I call, and they all promise that it will get taken care of. It appears that they dont have an organized way of getting these things done. I will NEVER use them for any other service.

Did not show up on time. Was told they would be there at 8am sharp. Didn’t show. Called and was told they would be there at 9:50 sharp. Did not show. Called again, and then was told they would be there at 11-11:30. Showed up at 11:50. They wasted my time and ruined a lot of plans my company had today. Will not go to them for future business ever again.

I have no problems with the drivers or containers. It’s the office and billing department I have a problem with. I had 2 containers, went down to one but continued to get billed for two. Despite several phone calls, emails and letters the charges remained on my bill for years. I thought it was finally resolved, I got a credit and had a zero balance. After one pick up (at $45) my bill jumped to $185. I’m getting billed for two pick ups that never happened, and I’m not even getting billed at my rate but at a $70 rate! I’m so tired of fighting them constantly on billing. I’m done when our contract is up.

WARNING DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE MISLEADING COMPANY AND LACK ANY CUSTOMER CARE AND CARE ABOUT STEALING YOUR MONEY. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!Shred-it needs 0 starts. I attempted to cancel my subscription to their services to find out that I had been given a 5 year commitment that was placed in FINE PRINT. Never once was this asked or explained to us when talking about services at the point of sales only to lead you to think cancelling is just as easy as starting services. Our sales rep at the time of discussing services (whom of course is no longer at the company) Im sure got a nice commission check with this Sale!!!!!!!This is cheating and lying to the customer when they are not clear ON THE FRONT OF A CONTRACT what you are signing especially one that is committing to a 5 year lease. I WOULD HAVE NEVER signed this. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY MISLEADING as a company to talk to you and never go through the terms of agreement and leave it all in fine print. I called them out on this and they told me what their font size was and said it was a 14 which is COMPLETELY false. As with any service company like a water company, you would NEVER require someone to sign a 5 year commitment with a 50% collection on early termination for the ENTIRE LEASE.I spoke to my new customer service repDino who was extremely unprofessional on the phone and never acknowledging my main concern of lack of transparency of the company sales training when a new customer calls in with terms of agreement. I asked to speak to the manager who was equally unprofessional and unhelpful named Gabriella (whom of course NONE would give out their last names). THE ONLY NEGOTIATION THEY WOULD PROVIDE IS IF I DIED OR IF MY BUSINESS WENT UNDER AND THEN THEY COULD TALK ABOUT HOW TO HANDLE A MISLEADING REPRESENTATIVE OF THE COMPANY AND CONTRACT.

I use to work here as a Driver. The Customers were very easy to work with. The Trucks, Shredding and Procedure were cool. However it was the narcissistic Managers that made things hard. Typical office Hating! Did my job, stacked my chips and dipped on them. #CLOWNS #GOOFY

DO NOT USE SHRED IT. They are terrible. Do not communicate, very misleading! And definitely try to steal your money!! They said I signed a 5 year contract, which I did not sign! Now they want almost a 1k dollars in penalty for cancelling early! Please be careful with them

Great customer service, easy to set up an account, flexible options. Our company heavily relys on Shred-It’s services We have many sensitive documents that we do not want to get into our competitors hands. Yes, they’re pricing is a little bit more per month than some, however the peace of mind delivered with that price is invaluable.I highly recommend using this service.

We were moving and needed to have about 15 boxes of documents shredded. The initial contact with Ron was good and he was very helpful and expedient in getting the forms over to me and completed. Ron emailed me of the date of service and we agreed on the date. One day before our agreed upon date Ron called and said Operations had us scheduled for that day so we waited for the truck and it never showed up. The following day I called Ron and asked if they were coming out to pick up the boxes and asked for a window of time so we would be at the house and he transferred me to Operations and no one answered or called to let me know when they would arrive. I ended up taking the boxes to Office Depot and paying twice as much but had the peace of mind knowing that the documents were shredded. I would not recommend Shred-It simply because of poor customer service with regard to their Operations department.

I had Shred-It come to my house and shred 40 boxes of old records. The truck arrived on time, the driver was very professional, and the shredding job was done flawlessly. I thought the fee was reasonable and I would hire them again anytime. In fact, we are going to set up service for them to come to my office on a regular basis and shred obsolete documents there.

This has to be one of the worst companies as far as customer service. The only time they want to contact you is if they want to sell you something more than what you are already using them for. If you have a problem, forget about it. You will not hear a peep from them. They just want to slink into your office, empty your bins, try to entice employees to empty the bins at their desk then charge you extra for it, even when you shred bin is only 1/4 full. I have tried to talk to someone now for over 6 months about these erroneous charges and not one person has bothered to call me back. Simply the worst customer service!

I wish I could give Shred-It zero stars. Maybe even negative ones. Ive never spoken on the phone with anyone the least bit helpful, at least the guys they send to pick up the boxes are always nice. Side-note, anytime the guy that comes in to pick up boxes is unable to give us a receipt of pick up and shredding NOBODY ever emails them to me. When I call to get it Im usually met by a lady that clearly doesnt want to be bothered to do her job. Please note, premium pricing doesnt mean premium services. Also my service cost went up 11% this year. So now Im literally paying more for the absolute WORST service with the absolute worst company Ive ever dealt with. Save your small business its hard earned money these guys are NOT worth it.

CALLED AGAIN TO GET LASHONDAS GHETTO ASS AND WAS HUNG UP ON AGAIN. APPARENTLY THEY ARE SEENG MY REVIEWS IMMEDIATELY. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!! HORRIBLE, PITIFUL SERVICE. REPS ARE INCOMPETENT, RUDE AND SERVICE IS INCONSISTENT. MANAGEMENT IF THATS WHAT YOU CAN ACTUALLY CALL THEM, ARE JUST AS DISPECABLE AS THERE REPS. NO ONE RESPONDS TO EMAILS OR PHONE CALLS.
