I was in a bind as my son needed his shoes shined the morning before his high school homecoming dance. Called Houston Shoe Hospital and they said “no way, you should’ve brought them in yesterday. Um, thanks fir the advice! Started searching the internet and saw Shines’, made a call and was told to come on in. Amazing job on the shoes; my son was super happy and impressed. We even had a few minutes to tour the museum. I’m not going anywhere else in the future. Great place!

Mr. Shines greeted me with a smile and welcomed me to his establishment. I dropped off my kids boots. These boots were dry and did not look good at all. I read reviews and decided to try Mr. Shines. I picked up the next day as promised and I was amazed!! I could not believe how they looked. I wish I would of taken a before and after for this post. But here is the after. He also does shoe and handbag repairs. I really enjoyed his small tour of his establishment that he gave me. To be honest I felt my money was well worth it since it goes to the little guy in a big business world. Give him a try and you wont be disappointed.

After reading through reviews online, I stopped by Mister Shines’ to get a pair of black Oxfords polished. The owner shines the shoes personally, does a great job, and is a lot of fun to talk to while he works. I’ll definitely be back. Be sure to get a tour of the establishment while you’re there!

I came in today to get my motorcycle boots shined and such. Also my other pair of boots were shined and they both look so nice! I have been here a couple of times and it has not disappointed me at allBest in the whole city!

I started going here in Houston to get my Dads shoes polished. Once I saw the quality of work as well as the great prices, this is the only place I go to have my boots and shoes polished and rubber souls placed on the bottoms of my heels and boots. Excellent quality, great prices and great customer service. I cant recommend this place enough!

Excellent experience! This place has a 5 star rating for a reason! My boots were in bad condition so I brought them to Mr. Nash (who has been in business for over 30 years) hoping that he could shine them up and make them look wearable again. I was considering tossing them out but to my surprise, I picked them up a couple hours late (on a busy Friday afternoon to say the least) and they seriously look brand new! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to make their boots look great.

These great guys can save anything, Im convinced! They work wonders at reasonable prices. Just be sure to check online for hours - they are not open 5 days a week.

After calling several shoe repair shops and getting a short answer, I called Shines regarding a new pair of boots my daughter purchased. The boots are too snug on one foot and I wondered about having them stretched or returning them. The gentlemen spent a good amount of time on the phone with me suggesting options and what his experienced recommendations would be. Very kind, very informative and very appreciated. It was not about getting me info the store, it was about sincerely helping a customer make the best choice. I really stumbled onto a jewel of a businessman. I will not hesitate to do business here in the future.

Don’t be turned away by the outside appearance or the alarm that sounds when you walk in. This place has some of the best service and a great shine. I paid $11 for a shine on some worn dress shoes, which I thought was reasonable.
