I cannot say enough good things about this company. Oswald was my point of contact. He was very helpful and communicated with me thru the whole process. Keeping me up to date with texts and pictures. The craftsmanship exceeded my expectations. My parts where from my boat and required special attention to detail. They came out looking better than new considering the condition they where in when I sent them to him. I would recommend them with out hesitation.

Just finished a 6 hour round trip to Houston to return my 57 T Bird bumpers that Superior Chrome did for me. They offered three choices: daily driver, show quality and museum quality. I chose show quality. I picked them up and they remained wrapped for about 6 weeks. I took them to my restoration shop and they refused to use them on my car in the condition they were in. After setting up an appointment with the owner and sending pictures of the problems and driving three hours to get there, the owner spent two minutes to look and tell me that there was nothing wrong with their work. While the face of the bumpers was about average looking, the edges were rough and the back of the bumpers were pitted with rust and globs of solder in an attempt to reattach the bumper brackets. All in all, very disappointing that they did nothing but turn their back and walk away. I now will have to send to another chrome shop and pay again to get them fixed. I have posted pictures on my face book so you can be the judge. This is a body off restoration and show car.

The prices quoted seemed very reasonable compared to others but the quality was very poor. Part received after 6 weeks are unusable not only for the appearance, but are now distorted and ground down beyond tolerances needed to fit. Some parts were bent from clamps and there are many pits with sections missing plating. The worst of the parts were sent back and re-done with almost no change to the part the second time. I will be purchasing used cores to get them chromed at another shop due to the distortion of all pieces. I am not looking for perfection; just good driver quality pieces which I did not receive from Superior. I will not use this company again nor would I recommend to any hobbyist or professional builder.

This company honors their guarantee in a fashion that is extremely rare these days. I had 8 chrome pieces from a 1941 Pontiac that showed premature flaking and they took them back and redid them beautifully.

I called this morning with a question about plating a hub oil cover. Dont know anything about plating so Im sure I was asking silly questions. He took the time to listen and pointed me in the right direction. Thanks
