Nu Trends is absolutely amazing! We hired them for my sister’s wedding, and they did such a great job, much beyond what we could have anticipated. She worked with us every step of the way and accommodated our every need, even the last-minute ones. She worked with our vision, and made sure we were informed and aware with everything that was going on, while simultaneously taking stress off our shoulders by offering her expertise and advice according to our needs. I had called vendor after vendor and store after store with no luck since these heaters, and all heaters, were sold out. However, she didn’t back down at the challenge, and she managed a miracle. She also personally came to our home on the morning of the wedding, in 32-degree-weather, and ensured that everything from the wedding garlands, to the dessert table were arranged just right. I was absolutely overwhelmed with gratitude for her presence. Nu Trend did an amazing job for us. Our wedding looked beautiful thanks to the decor. The owner of the business helped us a lot and was extremely patient with us. I was clueless about what decor to use and how the venue should look like. After speaking to the owner, I realized that I have nothing to worry about because she has years of experience and will know what is needed and how everything you should look like. Another huge plus was the price. Nu Trend didnt quote me some absurd amount and the whole process from selecting the decor to the transaction went smoothly.

I hired nutrends for my wedding the beginning of the year and had very high expectations. Coming from how highly they talk about their work and how confident they seem when you have a consultation done, the work provided for the wedding was truly disappointing. Imagine it’s your wedding day, and you walk into something you hadn’t expected at all. That’s exactly what happened with my wife and I. My wife did all the work when it came down to decor, and we both went over what we wanted. We had given the owner some pictures for inspiration and she told her that she had nothing to worry about and that it would turn out better than she had in mind. The exact opposite is what happened on both of our events that they were hired for. The whole hall looked cheap and as if it were done on short notice. We had high hopes based on what they were telling us. There was a huge communication gap and the owner was very bad with letting us know what was going on. We paid thousands for decor that for sure didn’t look like it was worth it. Very disappointed. I never write reviews but had to do it this time.

After contacting multiple vendors for decor we finally came across Nu Trend who turned out to be the most helpful and accommodating. We booked them last minute for my sisters engagement and gave them details of what we wanted for decor and they went above and beyond our expectations. Exceptional service. Great decorating ideas. Assembled our tent one day in advance. The day of event, they delivered all the glasses, plates. Very professional. Their hospitality staff was very professional and did not require much input from us.

My sister hired this company for her wedding, and she was really excited about it too! To be honest the way she described her decor and the pictures that she’d shown us, we had other ideas in mind. When it came time to the wedding events we were honestly so upset at the lack of effort that was put in. I’ve seen the owner reply to their reviews below trying to defend their part. But anyone who was there at the event has seen it for themselves and can write the same type of review for them. Taking thousands from People and not putting it towards the wedding is insane to me. What’s done is done, but I’d hate to see another bride walk into her big day and get so extremely upset. I think they’re probably better with smaller events.

Best place for rentals. Have rented from them before. Once a tablecloth of theirs got misplaced at the banquet hall and the owner was nice enough to not charge me for it. Very friendly owner. From the beginning to the end, Kauser was very helpful when choosing out decorations and coordinating set up. They work around your schedule and accommodate whatever issue may come up. Where do I start?Wedding planning is stressful, but thanks to Nu Trend, it went off without a hitch. Sohni & Tasneem & their team worked effortlessly when it came to decor. I had a tight budget, but they were able to work with it. They have been around for a long time and they have worked with many of the venues before, so they know what they are doing. Believe me when I say my family and myself were not easy to work with. We were stressed beyond belief but Sohni stayed strong for us and worked on our vision. She was available via person, text, email, & phone call. I could bounce ideas off her. I was doubtful but when the day came, Nu Trend BLEW my expectations out of the water. The venue was absolutely beautiful. My vision had come to life. Everything was perfect. I wish I had more pictures, but I was too busy enjoying my big day. The video below doesnt even do the decor justice.We had arches, centerpieces, bouquet (which I absolutely fell in love with. So much that I actually took it back after the bouquet toss), chargers, sweetheart table, stage set up, and many more. They are your one stop shop for wedding decor. Again, thank you so much!

ABSOLUTELY STUNNING is not enough to describe Nu Trend work along with amazingly professional, kind and enthusiastic staff during the planning process!

Before I get into this review, I’d like to start of by mentioning that the owners were genuinely nice and good hearted despite how our wedding turned out. We used nutrends for three of our wedding events this month. I had a clear picture of what I wanted for each event, and discussed this with the owner who promised that it would turn out exactly as I expected it to. Even days before the events, we went back and forth through text and I made sure to send her pictures of the decor we picked, but she would rarely reply.For the mehndi day, everything turned out as I expected. So no complaints there. For the wedding day, the only thing that made the cut was the stage decor. NOTHING else had been picked out by me. The tables were pretty much empty and were decorated with cheap looking center pieces. My head tables did not look like head tables. I had told her not to use sequined table cloths, yet there were sequined table cloths everywhere. The runner for the entrance was so badly placed it would slip every time someone stepped on it. On top of that, she had told me to bring my own lighters to light up all the candle decor. When confronted, she said that the hotel wouldn’t provide her with what was needed but upon further conversation with the hotel manager, she had never even bothered to ask for anything additional. They also mentioned she had finished setting the place up in less than two hours (most of the time time event planners take 4-5 hours). The work was sloppy and honestly such a disappointment. My wedding wasn’t even close to what I’d expected and I’m just writing this review for to save everyone the emotions on their wedding day.For the valima- yet again they got the stage but missed everything else. I mean they didn’t get ANYTHING that we wanted. She took full payment in advance and it was definitely not our moneys worth. The decor on this day was so cheap we had guests asking what happened. Before my husband and I even made our entrance, we noticed that the runner for the aisle was torn up COMPLETELY. They didn’t have the decency to put down something sturdy. The decor was specifically sent to her and absolutely nothing turned out the way we wanted to. Weddings are no joke and to rip us off for thousands of dollars and not even fullfill what we had asked for is insane to me. If you claim you’ve been in the business for years, make an effort to deliver those kind of results. We had guests tell us that it looked like they just threw everything on the tables/aisle and called it a day. Maybe they had two weddings in a day? I legitimately am so upset and I can go on and on.For both days, the decor was honestly ridiculous. If she was supposedly having issues with the coordinator at the halls, she should’ve contacted me immediately but she failed to even let me know what was going on. This review is simply just for those who are looking to make their big day the best. Do yalls research before jumping to any conclusions.

We used Nu Trend for my wedding reception. All the decorations were what we wanted and looked great. The owner is very responsive to emails. Out of all the vendors I worked with for the wedding Nu Trend was the one I trusted the most to be on top of everything and on time. The costs were also reasonable (the other decorators we spoke with had ridiculous prices). Just make sure all the small details are written in the contract and you will be happy.

Sohni and her team were amazing! We picked a unique venue (the springs) that gave us a blank canvas. Sohni took the ideas in my head and made them a reality. Everything from my Nikkah furniture to sequin tablecloth for the sweetheart table to the flower wall backdrop was perfect. I gave her a drawing of the stage we wanted and she perfectly replicated it. I’m so happy we went with them despite my initial skepticism based on some online reviews. Excellent work at a decent price. Thank you NuTrend for making my wedding exactly what I dreamt of!!

This company ruined our wedding and then tried to charge us for it. We used Nu Trend to provide plates and glasses for our wedding in July of 2015. They failed to bring enough of both plates. Just decided not to bring over half of what we needed. On top of that the charger plates we chose arent the ones they brought so those did not match and the same with the glasses!!! This is an absolutely unprofessional and wildly irresponsible company. I say that because after all of those screw ups on our wedding day they fought tooth and nail to keep all of our money. Keep in mind we paid for MUCH more product (and different more expensive product) then what was delivered. As if that wasnt enough their drivers picked fights with the wedding venue staff! The wedding was stressful for no reason other than Nu Trend and I am telling everyone who asks me who we used about this. I do not recommend this company. There are so many better places to go, please... just dont risk it. Go to Aztek or some other well known, not shady company. Shame on you Nu Trend, I will continue to let the city of Houston know how bad you screwed us over on our wedding day.

I really satisfied with the work and result they brought. I do not have an EO for my wedding, they helped me a lot in during the day and deal with the unexpected. I still remember, after everyone left and I looked back the décor they did, I could tell that I was super happy and fully satisfied vendor. I like simple and elegant, they make it exactly per my vision.They are also generous in my view.. many things they try to do their best without additional costs, like they add additional tables with complete décor which I do not ask for it in the beginning.Last but the best one... They also try their best to deal with all my last minutes requests including the most beautiful wedding bouquet that I ever see... my friends love it... the bouquet is not a common and usual one, last minutes changing design and they made it flawlessly.. this is a vendor that you should hire!

I used nu trend for my dholki decor @noahs. I met Sohni (assistant decorator) just a week before the event and described my vision, colors and exactly what I was looking to get out of that events decor. She assured me that everything will be in my color scheme and it REALLY was. They made my event decor super gorgeous, the backdrop, (the swing with the orange fabric), the props on the side. They decorated it exactly how I envisioned my dholki night and that’s HUGE! Thank you Sohni 💜It was super fun picking out the table cloths because I wanted certain colors and Sohni made sure to find those in her warehouse and they were PERFECT!!!Can’t thank you and your team enough for accommodating me last minute and for accomplishing my vision.

I have rented tables/chairs and linens from them many times. Always very helpful and professional.

My wife had ordered flowers for an event a month in advance. The were very promising at first and took our payment in advance. They were supposed to have them ready at 9 in the morning, since my wife and I both work and would not be able to pick them up in the afternoon. The evening before she was supposed to pick them up, my wife gets a call and they want her to pick up the flowers in the afternoon. She explains to the receptionist that we wont be able to because her work schedule wont let her. The lady told her that she would drop off the flowers at the nearby restaurant and that my wife can pick them up after she gets off work. Needless to say when she got to the restaurant the flowers were not there because they forgot to drop them off and that my wife would have to wait 1/2 an hour so they can deliver the flowers. If this is how they do business, I dont know how they are surviving. Never going back to this unprofessional establishment
