I’ve been going to the Heights location for years, and I’m happy to say that I received the same level of service recently at this location. The manicurist was thorough and they are always so detailed - I never leave with a bubble or a smear or even a sloppy edge on a nail. I know I’m getting safe products that aren’t packed with hazardous chemicals. And the salon itself is so tidy and chic. Love this place and will definitely be back.

Great service. Friendly and professional staff. I appreciate the email they sent before my appointment about the parking lot being under construction and to arrive early. I parked in the shopping center across the street (Tootsies) and paid 2.00 just to make sure I didnt get towed. The front desk employee was super friendly and gave me 5.00 off my service. I usually go to the Heights location but will be back at this one for sure.

Super incompetent! Booked my appointment with a receptionist in person. Came to my appointment and they said I had none scheduled. Very unprofessionally handled when I asked for a solution. The only thing a girl offered was a pity coupon for a next appointment. I asked for a manager, none available on site. If I miss my appointment, they charge you a full service price. But if they screw up the, best they will offer $5 discount. That’s disgraceful and disrespectful to a customer. I asked for a manger to call, no one reached out to me. The only person who tried to help was the technician I was supposed to see but she can’t do anything. She had another customer. Wasted my time. Highly disappointed. They do pretend to be an upscale salon but in the end same poor management at high price. Not worth it.

Fantastic- one of the best manicures and pedicures I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely be back!My only comment would be that the pedicure chairs are great aesthetically, but not the *most* comfortable for shorter people. The poor staff had to prop me up with about four pillows😂

The service was good, the manager was a bit aggressive when requesting to maintain the mask on during the service. Same could have been communicated in a friendlier way.I appreciate Palomas commitment to use non-toxic products, we need more businesses like that.

I have literally fallen in love with going to this location. I have been going for nearly 4 years and I will say that my esthetician Kristian is hands down the main reason that I continue to drive across the city to come to this location. The conversation is always interesting engaging and it makes the experience far more than just a manicure or pedicure. I do look forward to the new location opening and experiencing what it has to offer with my current esthetician.

Today I went in for a mani / pedi and Anna was AMAZING. I was very indecisive about my color and she let me test try at least 5 colors. I love Paloma. When you walk in you aren’t hit with fumes. It’s a calming atmosphere. I have little nails and Anna painted them perfectly. Would highly recommend!

I love coming to Paloma Nails! Paloma Nails did such a great job on my nails. She took her time and made sure to ask me if I liked the shape and how the color turned out. Staff is always polite and caring. I also appreciate all the precautions they take for COVID.

Beautifully designed interior with a relaxing vibe. I sipped hot Ginger Lemon tea to the sound of Duke Ellingtons In a Sentimental Mood. The Staff and Manicurist were very kind and friendly. It was a lovely experience. I would definitely recommend them and will be returning!

The owner was extremely nice and totally accommodating. The place itself was quiet and peaceful and just what I was looking for.

Such a treat to get my nails done at Paloma Nails! They do a fantastic job and I love the current, calm atmosphere. The location is really nice, as well. I LOVE this place. It’s always so clean, staff are all extremely friendly, my mani/pedis stay fresh for a long time, I just got a facial done here yesterday for the first time and my face looks the clearest it’s ever been. Best of all, the music is bomb. Good vibes all of the time.

I scheduled an appointment prior to coming in for my appointment. I brought my kids with me and when I arrived was told that my kids can not be in the salon if they weren’t receiving services . Had I’d known this I wouldn’t have booked the appointment. They did not make me aware or send a confirmation email to let meKnow these things prior to coming. Then I get there and they say I will still get charged with or without services. How inconvenient and inconsiderate of these people to spring this on someone at the last minute. The only thing I was able to do was get a gift card and that’s it. That’s why they insist on booking an appointment so they can charge you. Smh I will not be coming back here ever again. I would suggest you go somewhere else too!

Such a different experience then any other salon. Loved the modern, clean and luxury feel. Never had a better manicure-the shape and color application was done so well. Loved the water bowls they had- just felt like such a clean experience. Which I really value!

This is my go-to nail spot! Super clean, friendly staff that seem to really enjoy working there (owner, front desk and nail techs), and amazing selection of colors. I cant imagine a better place to get your nails done. And, no chemical smells!

Overall, I enjoyed the environment more than the result of manicure. Custom service is nice. The store design was done perfectly, so modern, minimal and chic. This is a great place for girls time rather than getting a good manicure....The all-in manicure I did is not detail focused if you take a look closely. Hoping they could improve the skills to match their environment.

Love this salon!! Everyone is friendly, the chairs are comfortable, and I love the nontoxic products. It means the salon doesnt actually smell like a chemical-laden nail salon. A standard, non-gel polish lasts me 2 weeks or more! I wont go anywhere else.

Mary at Post Oak did my pedicure and fit me in for a manicure after and did an amazing job. She is a queen.

I am sick to my stomach writing this review but it has to be done. People need to know about this business’ childish behaviour and lack of professionalism. I am a single parent with several health problems and since my son was born (he’s now 20 months) I had not been able to go get a mani/pedi. Besides not being able to afford it, I was also waiting to find a non-toxic salon that would suit the natural lifestyle I am trying to achieve. I was SO excited to come across Paloma as it is the only nail salon of its type in Houston. I booked my first appointment for May 23rd, my 30th birthday (which I was so excited for even though I normally don’t celebrate birthdays). Everything went fine aside from being nicked during the manicure. When it was time to pay I asked to use the card they had on file but it didn’t go through because I forgot I needed to transfer cash. I transferred the cash and told the receptionist to try again. The money was taken out on my end but was not showing up on theirs so they still needed payment. I didn’t have any more money for them to attempt payment again so my friend used her card for me and I would pay her back later. We left. Shortly after, I booked an appointment on their online portal for a shellac manicure for the coming Tuesday at their Post Oak location partly because I just wanted to try a different location and partly because I changed my mind the day of and wanted shellac instead of The Pronto but the manicurist did not have time to fit it into the schedule. Ten minutes later I received an email saying that my appointment was cancelled so I called immediately to see what was going on. The girl that picked up the phone put me on hold to find out and when she came back I was SHOCKED to hear what she had to say. She said that I am no longer allowed back for services at any explanation. Completely befuddled, I asked why and she said “I have no further information”. I told her that I wanted to know what I had done and she said she would pass along my request for someone to call me back. I asked to speak to a manager and she said there was not one available. Another 10 minutes later, whoever runs their social media reposted my story of me getting my pedicure. I replied, “I was just banned from receiving services for God knows what and you still repost my story? I’m so confused.” A few minutes later they deleted their repost and blocked me! I have never come across a more childish, unprofessional business in my life. For “a businesswoman who believes in leading by example”, Maryam Naderi, I don’t think this is a very good one. I am heartbroken that a beauty service really did bring harm to my health and wellness. Maybe not in a physical way with toxic chemicals but definitely in a mental way...

Great hospitality, employees and products! Only downside is availability. They say walk-ins welcome but the last 3 times ive gone (1-3 pm) they only had late appointments. So book an appointment if you want to go. My favorite nail place in Houston hands down!

It was WONDERFUL! Everyone was friendly, hospitable, patient, courteous, and lots of other adjectives for Fantastic ! It was nice to enter a nail salon without all of the chemicals overwhelming your senses. No loud televisions or music. The salon itself is nice, large enough to be roomy but does not isolate you from other guests with whom you may be speaking with. The BEST thing is I have discovered a salon that I feel is not detrimental to my daughters health. I wish I had discovered there were options like Paloma when my daughters were five instead of now when they are 15. This is definitely a case of better late than never!

Paloma is worth every penny. The experience is sublime -- the nail techs take pride in their work and dont rush, the salon itself is beautiful and peaceful and the lack of chemicals makes a huge difference in my experience and overall well-being. I also love that they offer high quality teas and wine (none of the cheap stuff!) with your service.

I have Alex each time I go and she gives the BEST manicure!!! I love how clean the salon is. Not to mention luxurious and incredibly beautiful! It really is a relaxing place. Im so glad there is finally a non toxic nail bar!

Gorgeous space and excellent customer service. Non-toxic polish that lasts at least 7 days and all organic products. Choice of espresso, wine (white and red), bourbon, or water upon arrival. The massage for both hands and feet is incredible - very systematic and not unorganized skin rubbing like many other salons. Definitely my new go-to salon.

I went back and forth about writing this,while the place is extraordinary clean the facial room is super little and I could hear the girls expressing loudly amongst each other about how unhappy they are being treated a quarter of the way thru my service. Not a relaxing facial due to the noise but facial was great loved the products a little pricey giving the set up.

This salon is worth every penny. It is always pristine, the staff is so warm and hospitable, and they do a great job. Every technician makes you feel like they actually care about taking care of you! I love that their is no awful odors or chemicals used!

My wife loved it and plans on going back after the holidays.

Horrible service. I developed fungus on my nails after I visited. The shop looks clean but they dont sanitize their tools. Not only was my experience unpleasant but I heard some of the techs talking about the owner and how she rarely even allows them to take lunch and the cheap wages she pays. No wonder I got a fungus. If you dont pay your employees what theyre worth they wont put out the work that they are capable of.

I made it in an hour before closing and the receptionist told me and my sister there was no one available to help us. I was disappointed as I was trying to treat my sister to a girls day out before she had her baby any day. I drove all the way from Katy so we decided to get our nails done across the street and the woman attended us right away without hesitation. I will definitely be going back to that nail salon across the street.

Paloma Post Oak is my go-to for mani pedis in Houston. It’s a beautiful space and I’m always happy with my nails when I leave. It’s also immaculate and they seem to have really top notch sanitation practices. For pedicures, they use a big stand-alone basin, which is so much more sanitary than a built-in one with pipes or drains that can collect bacteria. Now that I’ve been to Paloma, I’m grossed out by all nail places that don’t do this. The Heights location is nice, too, but I prefer Post Oak because it’s way easier to park there.

Leaving this review for potential techs:I refuse to work for someone that treats their employees like they do. I was there for a 1 year and 5 months. Couldnt take it anymore. Owner is inconsiderate and greedy. Be ready for those price changes again! She has the techs where she wants them bcuz the money but once you take the money away its not worth the energy to work there.

I always have such a great experience at Paloma - Post Oak. Im greeted by name when I arrive and always get right in for my appointment. Always feel taken care of, and like I got my moneys worth.

I am super picky about using safe products and I know that at Paloma I am not sacrificing my health for the sake of having beautiful nails! All of the nail techs are top notch and the services are outstanding.

I had such great expectations upon arriving, but sadly I was disappointed, they had a sign outside that saidwalk ins welcome and we even called to see if we needed an appointment and we were told No walk ins welcome but the young lady told me they work by appointments only. So this was a total bummer.

Had a refill paid $100,3 days later they lift . Poor quality waste of money most importantly my time.

The decor is beautiful. The staff is excellent. You can even valet.

I had a wonderful experience today at Paloma with my girlfriends. All 3 of us got the all in pedicures. The staff was friendly, courteous and social! We thoroughly enjoyed chatting with our very knowledgeable and skilled technicians. Complementary wine, tea and water were available. Both red and white, my white was delicious.The salon was very clean, and has Absolutly no gross nail shop smell! Also, no annoying drill noises. They use tubs without jets for soaking, so you dont have to worry about getting fungus or infection from dirty jets that hold bacteria!They dont have a huge color selection BUT I feel like the colors available were trendy enough! Im very pleased with the color I choose, and both of my friends loved theirs as well!My technician was very sweet and did a wonderful job! She did an excellent job of asking what I wanted and what I liked about my feet. She shaped my toenails beautifully and my massage was great!Yes, its a little pricy, but not outrageous by any means. This is a privately owned shop and I can only imagine how high rent is in the area! The owner was on premises and came over to introduce herself and chat with us. She was very Nice!This was just an overall great experience and I highly recommend this place!

Over priced and understaffed for the levelof service that you receive. The salon is very clean and looks upscale, but the chairs are extremely uncomfortable. There are many other options in Houston available.

They were not able to get me in they told me to come back and gave me a coupon . When I came back I still waited after my appointment time. Tech was not very personable and did not talk much. Heard so much about this place. Well at least i tried it.
