Kim Sheffield-Johnson is an amazing therapist. When I started with her in February, I was severely depressed, anxious, on stress leave from work and consistently reliving my past trauma. I started seeing her twice a week. It was through these visits that I was able to come out of my depressive state. She helped me to see things the way they actually are instead of the way I had built them up in my head. We worked through my trauma using different methods. Now, 6 months later I am thriving at work, I’m in a relationship, no longer depressed and an overall much happier person. I can’t thank Kim enough for what she has done in my life. If you’re looking for a therapist, go see Kim. I promise you won’t be disappointed. She is a truly gifted and knowledgeable therapist with a heart for people. Thank you so much Kim. You’ve changed my outlook on life.
I usually never write reviews but this I have to. Overall, good center. I love my therapist, but Rebecca the front office receptionist is a bit rude. First of all, when she answers the phone she sounds miserable like she does not want to be there. 2. She’s not very friendly. She cuts you off before you can even speak. 3. I’ve seen many comments where it says office staff does not greet you when you go in person to the office. So horrible.
Seeing Dr. Lauren Forde here was my first time ever going to therapy and she along with the staff completely exceeded my imagination. Being nervous she MADE SURE to make me feel welcomed, safe and comfortable from the start. Making something that seemed so scary and impossible to me just become natural. Now I look forward to our sessions and couldnt imagine a better therapist. You can tell she loves what she does, takes pride in her work and respects you. Kindest and most genuine heart ever. I wouldnt recommend anyone else, anyone would be lucky to see her.
Ashley was 100% professional and a huge help! Knowledgeable and cared about my problems. Wonderful experience.
My experience has been excellent. I made an appointment, they verified my insurance, emailed me my copay information and informed consent, and on the day of my first appointment, my therapist was on time and we had our first session. Alex Green, LPC has been amazing, helpful, and professional at every encounter. She has never been late, and she is always attentive and has helped me tremendously. I highly recommend Alex for your therapy needs!!! .
I am so thankful for Brittany Allison. After losing our first child 3 days before her scheduled delivery, my husband and I needed help. the only thing I could feel was pain. Brittany helped me understand my feelings, how to gain control of my thoughts and made me feel completely comfortable sharing with her. Brittany shows compassion and is excellent at helping you sort through your thoughts!
Great experience! My counselor was really understanding and helped me get through a rough time.
Front desk doesn’t greet you or get you checked in. Called to cancel because of a wreck totaled my car and got “oh that sucks I’m sorry there’s still a $50 fee” offered to see if we could do a phone session and got told “oh insurance doesn’t cover that”. The two therapists I saw were both young and looks to still be green. Overall a place that is suppose to help with anxiety and stress instead helps to add to it.
I had the best experience with Susan Lawlor! She is experienced, knowledgeable, caring, supportive, motivating! She inspires me!
Its been a great experience with Lonnie Owen so far. Highly recommend him!
I was not greeted when I walked in as a first time client, the front desk staff did not even open the window or look at me so I just sat there with my paperwork waiting for someone to notice me, it was awkward. My counselor was late so our session did not last the full hour. Even after these negative first impressions I decided to give it another chance so I booked 2 more sessions. Twenty (20) hours before my third session I called to cancel because I had a family medical emergency. They charged me $50! I called to ask them if that could be waived since it was an emergency and I canceled as soon as I could, they said no. Then I asked if they could at least use that $50 credit towards my next appointment, nope! I am a LPC in private practice and I would never charge a new client a late fee as a penalty for an emergency especially if they gave me a notice the day before. I dont normally leave reviews but I was extremely disappointed with this clinic.
This place seems so nice until I got there we had spoke on the phone about why I needed to come and make my appointment there with them about getting written permission to have my service dog upon meeting the the therapist everything I was told was a lie I work 6 days a week and sometimes 7 on an un fixed schedule she said I would need to make three appointments before she could do anything I move in on the 20th of January and as it is now it is the third and the only reason why I could make this appointment was because I made it two weeks in advance I have 17 days left before Im living on the street because Im not giving up my dog nor do I have the time and day to sit there for our three different days not because I dont want to do their system but because I literally work all the time I wouldnt recommend anybody to waste there time and or money with themP.s. this place was so hot I was sweating after 2 mins and its 31° Out
This place is a blessing
Helped me out a lot.
