If you are registered for any other mediation training, I would suggest you ask for a refund. The mediation course is very relevant and extensive. This is a week packed of lecturing that is on the university level but appropriate for all learning styles and backgrounds. Dr. Manousso brings the best of the best as guest lecturers from the psychological aspects of mediation and behavioral health sciences to well respected attorneys. The course is interactive and interesting. Dr. Manoussos witty personality makes the class fun and yet her knowledge and experience in the industry keep you motivated and proud to be a part of the mediation community. Its obvious that she has a passion for teaching and a love of the field. Since I have taken the course, I find myself to be a better communicator and professional.

I took a basic mediation course from Dr. Manousso and I was extremely impressed with the way it was taught. She is a leader in the industry herself and in additional to her knowledge base she also had fantastic speakers who were top experts in their respective fields and also mediators including judges, lawyers, psychologists and many others speak to add more perspectives on mediation. The class was engaging and many thought provoking conversations were had by the students. The course was online and I look forward to in person ones in the future. I have recommended the course to others. I look forward on adding to my therapy practice with mediation services and am glad I attended the course.

I recently completed the 40- hour Basic Mediation Course with Dr. Barbara Manousso. The course was excellent, and Dr Manousso was incredible. She has unimaginable energy, love of the subject matter, and an incredible knowledge and real life practical experience.While the four- day course and routine are grueling, at the end of the course a person has enough credit hours to begin serving as a mediator. I have taken many of Dr. Manoussos courses. Dr. Manousso is an incredibly well known and knowledge leader of the mediation and arbitration field.I left her course with a considerable amount of knowledge and experience and I enjoyed every moment.

I completed all of my certificates (Basic Mediation, Advanced Family, Arbitration, Elder Mediation and Parent Coordination/Facilitation) through Manousso Mediation and I have been most impressed by Dr. Manoussos strong investment in her students; the seriousness of her mindset toward training; her exacting nature in presentation, course selection, presenters, time management and practical consideration; her commitment to ADR as a service of integrity and increased competency, and forward thinking in promoting the ADR community. She can certainly be candid and direct, even critical in her feedback, and doesnt tend to withhold her strong opinions, but that is completely necessary in a context where competence has yet to be established. I continue to have occasional contact with Dr. Manousso as my work in this area expands and I can say, without hesitation, she is the real deal!
