This company lacks professionalism greatly. I have had a total of three different recruiters Rheta, Samantha and now Elissa. I have been on file with Medix for at least 3 years now and they have NEVER helped me not once. They don’t call they don’t check on me they don’t even attempt seems like to get a position for me. I call Elissa multiple times and she either does not answer or ignores me completely. I have a great resume I have years of front office experience as well as I am a registered medical assistant. I have done my part I keep them updated on my resume I even send them positions I see available and still NOTHING. I have called the number listed on YELP, GOOGLE even the website and left messages for a supervisor and nobody has called me back. Even when she sends out her monthly available jobs and I inquire it takes her two weeks to even get back to me. I don’t understand at all. I want to speak to someone in charge or just remove my resume from your database. I came to you all for help and I NEVER got that it’s not right.

Had been in contact with a recruiter by the name of Madison. Spoke with her several times about the available positions that she thought I’d be a good fit for, did a zoom interview with her and a over the phone with the manager..then silence. No update on whether or not the position was still available, no call back, and she stopped responding to texts. Unprofessional is the only way to describe my experience with Medix

My experience with Medix has been pleasant. Shout out to Kat for being constantly in touch with me, she has a lovely personality, is very responsive and fortunately had a positive outcome. The whole team made the hiring process smooth and easy going.

My agent was very professional and always checked in she found me a job quick with my experience and resume. I notified her about my background which at the time was not a problem . They didn’t know the job was going to hire me and started the hiring process A week after me working there and fired me because my background after 3-4 weeks on the assignment. I’ve been asking to speak with someone now because it was very inconvenient to have me work for almost a month somewhere and now telling me I can’t stay on any assignment with them and I didn’t give any information at all. No compassion at all !

I was contacted by this company at the beginning of September by Erika Daniel for an interview. I was a little skeptical at first being that I’ve never used an agency but since I was looking for work in TX and our conversation went well over the phone I decided to give them a try. On the day of the interview with Erika everything went well she even gave me all this information on how things worked at Medix and she didn’t want to waste my time and she hoped I didn’t waste hers. She also told me how they operated and how she had many positions open for me being that I have so much experience blah blah blah! Everything seemed so promising. She asked for your social, ID and even called me the next day to set up my first interview which I attended, all went GREAT. Shortly after I was contacted for phase 3 in the interview process which also went fabulous! During this entire time Erika would text,call, email constantly which made me feel confident that she was on top of her stuff, but that didn’t last long I never heard back from her all I got was some text message saying “ I don’t have a response yet “ for 2 weeks. I’ve called left messages I’ve even texted her with little to no response back and when I did get a response through text she meant to send it to someone else and still never called to tell me anything about other positions or if the hospital got back to her.This company is a waste of time!!! Not sure how they are running this place and it’s very unfortunate. I wish I would’ve looked at the reviews before I wasted my time with her! It’s seems like they make money off of getting people in for a “Screening” than you make a profile and for as many people the recruiters get in they get paid. Regardless of getting you an interview or a job actually! ***********BEWARE********** they don’t even deserve one star!

I must say one of the best recruiting firms I have ever come across. The Recruiters, specifically Ms. Erica Daniel. I would highly recommend if someone is willing to put in effort Ms. Daniel do not hesitate going an extra mile. She is always very helpful and easy going. plus she doesn’t not take anyone forgot anted, especially if she knows that a person is trying hard to get a job. She would personally reach out whenever an opportunity comes across and she knows someone who can be a good match. This is my personal experience, even though I have not met her in person but after speaking to her over the phone I know I am i am in good hands. I feel motivated and positive. I applied to this agency a month ago had an interview with Erika Daniel she said she would get back with me within a week even suggested that I check in with her to see if the position she recommended me for had opened so after a week I called her no answer I even got notifications that the position opened so I kept calling left several voicemails and emailed her but no response. This company is a waste of time like the other reviewers are stating I wish I would’ve read these reviews before attending the interview. They don’t even have the decency to answer the phone or email to say hey we’re not hiring any longer so unprofessional.

Im sorry, but they only want to hire you quickly so they can get paid. If there is a problem, expect to be dropped for the next person. Oh and if you forget to mention anything, like having applied over a year ago to a position you had to decline with them and you try again, they will hold it against you.

Sad to say that if I could give 0 stars I would! I recently worked for this company and when I tell you for those of you who truly need a job a suggest you do not take the time to even apply here its a waist of time as well as a group of embellishment. just as one person has already stated they are only looking to get paid and will disrespect tarnish and drag your name through mud.They will purposely set you up to fail. You are called up with all this professionalism and do a complete 360. I worked for them for six months when I was told that I would only need 3 months to become permanent which never happened even after six months employment. If you are desperate enough to apply here and get in Beware! After you are sent to your site they are not concerned with checking on you and calling them is pretty much out of the question, e-mails arent any better. if you so happen to reach someone no one has any answers to your questions such as when does my raise come or when does my permanency come into play they never know. They tell you to began treating your onsite boss as if you are already permanent then if any communication laps come into play and believe me they will your Medix recruiter will not come to your aid. The insurance is far too expensive to the point that if you singed up for it you will literally have no paycheck because it come out every week. PTO only come every 300 hours which =1 day with never becoming perm that will be a tad bit difficult to achieve. Youre not allowed to be sick but you have no pto no sick days. They literally tell you to go into work sick as to where you put patients at risk as well as your self. When they get tired of you asking too many question that pertain to your career and its future, you receive a phone call when you get to work letting you know you are terminated. They give you some unorthodox reason as to why you are being let go but they tell unemployment and others something completely different. THEY ARE THE BEST IS YOU WANT YOUR NAME AND PROFESSIONAL CAREER TARNISHED!

Want to work for an agency that doesn’t follow up with you on your assignment? …or an agency where the manager gets upset that you’ve proven him wrong on an issue, so he starts ignoring emails from you out of spite …or an agency that would rather email you a ‘survey’ to complete, as opposed to contacting you directly to ask how things are going? …then Medix Staffing Solutions in Houston is the place for you! This is the most unprofessional agency that I’ve ever used. I could give many more examples. Needless to say, I will never use them again… nor recommend them to any of my colleagues.

Without getting into specifics, i rate this company a 1 because they did not do all their homework which cost me my job. I will say my recruiter did try to buy me time to fix the issue but when i lost my job i immediately asked her to find me another position and she never called me back. On top of that, as i tried to apply for unemployment, hoping they would go after my previous job, they lied saying i had an interview i never went to and that i did not try to look for another job.My paycheck was always on time, it was actually delivered to me, so no problem there. But i will never apply through Medix ever again. I dont like liars!

I got a call from this company that did a over the phone interview. I can’t remember his name, but he told me that he had a bunch of MA jobs available, and that he wanted me to come in today (Monday), and that he was going to send me an email with everything to bring. He never sent the email. It’s hard trying to find a job these days, why would you lie, and get people hopes up knowing you don’t have anything for them. I believe their reviews are true. Company is very unprofessional.

I have been employed by them before, shout out to Randi Saunders for being so nice during my first position. I have communicated with them about current listings and they responded to me in a prompt fashion. I do plan working with them in the future for certain positions.

Medix is a great company to work with. Ive been working with them for over half a year and its been great, no complaints - its been awesome, they even take me out to lunch about once a month. Cant say that for any other staffing agency.People go out of their way to whine and complain online because they feel like the perfect candidate for a given job yet didnt receive it. Id ignore the negative reviews on Google for this company cause theres so few reviews. If there were 100 1star reviews then itd be different, clearly.Overall, great experience with Medix and I am still working with them til this day!

I would not recommend this staffing agency. I read so many horrible reviews online after they contacted me. I thought to give them the benefit of doubt and went ahead and had a virtual interview with them. Well, they did succeed in getting me an interview with UT Physicians- Right after I got a call from the staffing agency stating UT was interested in me and giving me a rate and asking me if I was interested. Of course I was, an hour later I received an email from a partner stating the interviewer was interested but they thought I would be a better fit at a different location and I was offered a second interview. None of this makes sense to me given the fact I have no experience in Ortho- they could not give me a good answer as to what was going on. Medix is just unorganized and not trustworthy. A co-worker at my current job (which I found on my own), her daughter dealt with Medix, had an interview at the same location they wanted to send me to and no one touched based with her after the interview. I personally dealt with a Breanna and Laura- I just think this place is a waste of time.

I must say Breanna Driggers is the best recruiter I have had. At first I interviewed for another position but we got no feedback, but Breanna did not stop there. She pushed for another job and I was hired within 20minutes. I had my over the phone interview with Breanna and the process went smoothly. It took me 4 months to come on permanently at the job I am at now. Thank you so much Breanna!!!🥰I know that you may not be my recruiter while I am gainfully employed but in my book you will always be my recruiter!! You can’t be replaced!!!

I read the reviews online didnt think of thought people were being mean, come to find out that this is no joke. I would not recommend this place at all its a waste of space. The first time around I spoke to Tory he gave me run around and no information about the company that he was trying to get me hired on, he later comes back and tells me that the position is filled. These people are head hunters and only want to get paid. Forward a couple months later.. I just called today and spoke to someone and told me I that I should speak to the recruiter / Tory. I told her that he was no help at all, didnt know anything. I was transferred to someone else and the individual that spoke to told me that information that I saw online was just for show. The hell does that mean excatly ... Yeah this agency is a joke, waste of time.

They dont even try to work with you if they FEEL you arent qualified. They told me I wasnt qualified for several positions because I didnt have the experience. Well, I applied to the medical facility myself and got the job through them directly!! I would never recommend anyone to use this staffing agency. Apply directly to the company and keep your full pay. These people are pathetic.

This place will waste your time and gas. I met with someone in regards to getting put on an assignment and when I got there she then decide to say “oh I just filled that position” which was perfectly fine it happens, she perceeded to ask me what exactly was I looking for in a position and I gave her all my wants and needs and she PROMISED me that we could definitely work together and that she had a lot of positions that matched my wants and my resume and that she felt as though I would be perfect for those positions and would call me back that next week for positions. I waited weeks to hear back from her after continuously calling to let her know I was applying to all the jobs that were popping up on their website that I felt were a right fit and she would never return my calls, I emailed her February 12th and she still didn’t return my email, I called twice today only to get a busy line. This company isn’t a company you want to deal with if you are a great candidate and available immediately, they don’t care about your time or you as a person they take who they want and waste everyone else’s time. If someone isn’t the right fit for your staffing agency let them know instead of ignoring them.UPDATE: spoke with someone from the team and settled it as miscommunication and hoping that we could arrange something soon.

Medix seems like a gimmick agency. I was called to go here because Z. wanted to meet with me face to face. So, in all the hective traffic in Houston, I went with mo problem and even called to say I was going to be late because of traffic coming from one side to the other. I get there and this lady makes them out to be the best company in Houston right, mustve been one of their favorites that they felt had more experience. She bragged about all the jobs she had worked. Ok, so why you back here? Anyway, so me amd Z. had a great interview and she told me about a great paying job, in a great location that was convenient for me. I was all 😊s right and looking forward to the position.She asked me for references that I had already emailed to her a week before I came in. So, she said she would call me. I waited a week and called her. She never called. She said the references wanted paper work instead of a phone verification. I think this was a lie because if youre a professional company, you can easily fax over a verification form. So, Z. asked me for two more references she could speak with. I gave her two more. She never called back and I had been calling her almost two weeks before she finally answered.When I got in touch with her, she says oh I havent forgotten about you and I was in the process of moving and the place never gotten back to her. I like a dummy believed these lies.So, unprofessionally, she texts me and says in so many words this company has closed the position I was interested in and they ran out of money to fund the position and she would call me when something came available ?!?!What the? I said ok no problem and left it at that, while thinking this is pure dishonesty and their a favortistic company. They pick and choose who they want to. I kept asking her, did my old manager say something bad about me and is this why she never called me back. She said no thats not it, we just havent heard from the company.These people are unprofessional and their legitimacy makes me wonder. How is it a supposingly legit company runs out of money? The real deal is theyre bias and I will ponder on applying with them. I found them online and you never know, companys like this could be the reason you get scammers calling you everyday. Their not trustworthy as far as Im concerned.👎👎

I will like to rate and leave a fair review. I actually at first reviewed this company with 5 stars, at first, but after having worked just a couple of days, I then realized I made a mistake.I know that each and everyone has their own different experience. Medix is a staffing agency that, to my knowledge and I have dealt with staffing agencies since the mid-late 90s, survives and is able to leave their doors open by way of hiring contract workers.I was given an assignment, in which, someone obviously did not put enough thinking into. I was not informed of A LOT of information that I should have. The position was unfair and not right for anybody to work. According to the past, I have learned that contractors can be even easily used by actual employers who Medix contracts one out to-so sad.It is very easy for a manager, of an employer who Medix contracted you out to, to lie about simple and easy things. I quickly discovered that this manager was very immature and unprofessional when she told me what another manager stated of me in our interview together- who does this?This world filled with the work-class people is filled with hatred, liars, and people who just are not right to manage a facility fairly; therefore, there are a lot of people who experience a lot of hell because of it.One a manager does not care for you because of his/her own reason, even if you very professionally and nicely asked if this manager could work something better out to better fit your needs and costs, the first thing the manager wants to lie about is that the contract worker is rude or has an attitude. Very strange, especially if you have not even seen the manager since beginning the assignment and YOU KNOW GOOD AND WELL that you had NO complaints!His/her employees begged ME to come back the next day and TOLD the manager that I am a VERY good worker- where did attitude and rude come in?I guess because you dont fulfill their request that better fits THEM after you work a day, in which, you were not informed of the position 100%. It is easy to say that an employee is rude or has an attitude because they cannot find a wrong to complain about your work so just saying rude and attitude is much easier so that an assignment can be stopped.Medix is good at hearing one story, or the managers side and I guess because they wouldnt be able to operate if they did not listen to them.I turned down a job to work this one- HUGE mistake, but I will move on. I have an interview already tomorrow and another interview next week. God is good.The manager has no morals nor conscience to place a lie and feel no shame upon it. This place had me all sparked up at first because my recruiter really had me feeling like he was determined to find a job ASAP. out his on mouth he said call me back in 3days which was last Friday and yet have I heard anything from him. I called numerous of times and its always in excuse like hes not in the office or he is at lunch. I left a VM stating my contact info and name and YET AGAIN I HAVE NOT HEARD FROM HIM.so today I called and now hes in a meeting and the lady wanted me to leave a VMI polietly told her no mam I keep leaving VMS and never get a call back . all that wanch said was oh okay !! THEY REALLY DONT HAVE any attention on getting you a job is the moral of my story. Poor excuse of a staffing company.. !!👎👎👎👎👎👎👎❌🚫

I worked here when I first got to Houston, not very many interviews, I got them on my own. I thought they were supposed to help get you clients and keep you working? If I waited on them, Ill be outside. First time for everything!
