I have been coming to Ms Aretha for a few months now and I have struggled with PCOS which causes me to have a lot of unwanted neck and chin hair.. I have been very insecure about it but Ms Aretha has been awesome through this process.. She was honest about the timeline and process and I am slowly gaining my confidence back.. I’m so anxious to be cleared and smooth completely.. It’s costly but worth it trust me.. She is so sweet and makes me comfortable.

After spending thousands of dollars on laser treatments that didn’t work, I looked up Aretha and decided to give electrolysis a try. She has made the whole process so pleasant and comfortable, and I feel like I could cry when I think about the progress I’ve made. I first started coming 4 months ago with a full beard, and it took over an hour to clear all the hairs every two weeks. Now I just need a touch up once a month and I am almost completely hair free for life! If you’re on the fence about this, DO IT. It will change your quality of life dramatically.

Aretha is a very talented and thorough electrologist. She is enthusiastic about her work and it shows. Aretha brings a lot of personality to the appointment which makes the session enjoyable. Ive been going to her for over a year and she has cleared out areas that laser hair removal doesnt work on. I highly recommend Aretha.

My first treatment I paid 35 dollars, the next visit was 50 dollars for the same time. I texted Aretha as to explain the price difference, she called me back talking all over me. I just wanted an explanation for the price difference. She did text me her prices afterward but when you initially explain 80 dollars an hour I assumed that 30 minutes would be 40. She would talk about other clients, which which is a no for me. After 1 treatment I had bumps from ingrown hair. She is not nice.

I needed to have permanent hair removal for a medical procedure. Aretha was able to help me get in as many sessions as possible prior to my surgery. The office is very welcoming and inviting, and she did a wonderful job. It was apparent she knows a ton about electrolysis and keeps up with the latest techniques. Most importantly, she truly cares about her clients and their goals. I always felt like a priority and that she was invested in my results. She is very welcoming of people from all kinds of backgrounds with different needs, and I truly enjoyed getting to know her throughout this process. I highly recommend her!

If I tell you I was experiencing the worst hair growth known to a woman, predominantly in my face. I dreaded looking in the mirror when I hadn’t shaved or naired. Ive been going to Aretha for about 7 months now but have been getting electrolysis done for about 2 years total. She is absolutely amazing! She is a welcoming and friendly professional who is really dedicated to her craft. She stays up-to-date on new technologies and information and is always happy to share her knowledge. Results have been great because hair is MUCH thinner and completely gone in some areas quicker than I had seen with other electrologists. I have also never had any side effects with Aretha that have occurred with other electrologists such as acne or hyperpigmentation. The work space is immaculate and Aretha is diligent in maintaining hygienic practice. Also hands down the best rates I have come across in Houston and the quality of work is top-notch to boot. Cannot recommend Aretha enough!

I came here for treatment several times and didn’t notice any difference so I stopped my treatments. Aretha is very sweet but unfortunately this did not work for me.
