Called to setup recall service on my 2016 F250. Liz Bell took my call and offered me a time that fit my schedule. Liz was probably the most pleasant person I have dealt with in service at Tommie Vaughn Ford. She actually took my vehicle in and gave me an estimate of the time it would take to have the service completed. The service was completed on time and she promptly called me to let me know my vehicle was ready. Vehicle seems to be running fine.I have to be honest though, I still will not take my truck back to Quick Lane for an oil change because the last time I did the Tech cross threaded the oil pan drain bolt and I could hardly remove it when I changed the oil myself since i couldnt get to the dealer. I actually had to buy a new bolt to complete the oil change. I took the bolt to the Quick Lane service desk and showed them and all the did was say, oh sorry about that. we will advise our Techs. I should have kept the bolt and showed it to them before my next service, because the next time they did the same thing. I tried to give them a second chance.Since my truck is approaching 100K miles I will just do my routine Air/Oil/Filter services myself and buy the parts online.

I would give my experience a minus 10 if there was a star. I feel like I was totally ripped off. My vehicle would not start, not even the lights. They spent 2 hours ($325.00) for them to diagnosed the problem was the battery clamp. I even saw the clamp was not in good shape when I looked at the battery. They replace the clamp at 22 dollars. Total cost was $417.00 just to replace the battery clamp. Is this a rip off or what! Never in my life time have I ever been screwed by a dealer ship. Will not go back.

Took my truck in with a slipping transmission. The service writer explained the transmission guy was very busy and they would take care of some recalls and my transmission would be diagnosed that week and the following week repaired. The second week I had not heard anything after leaving 4 messages on his phone and several emails I stop by to discover he was on vacation. His relief person said the transmission was fine. As soon as I pulled out of the parking lot it started slipping. End the end, I took my truck in, paid $700.00 for a rental, and get do repeat because they did not take time to diagnose the issue.
Almost two hours to get an oil change! I got there at 650 am Saturday, which means I was there when they opened and it took til 850 for me to get my car back! Quick lane? Lol

I decided to stop by here instead of my neighborhood Ford dealership due to good reviews I found on google. The first impression which is the front desk was not pleasant, I visited Infiniti and Toyota dealerships last week as Im shopping around for the best deals and they were great in greeting customers. The lady was disrespectful and had no manners. although the sales associate Andy was very helpful and took the time and explained me everything. also the manager was lazy enough not to bother and greet as other dealers do once youre leaving, hoping you will be back. although I was there ready to make a deal it did not happen. its a 50/50 rating for me I guess. wont try them again.
I brought my car in to have the transmission looked at- Jessica in the service department communicated with me every step of the way from diagnostic, to repair to estimated time to complete the work. All repairs were made way ahead of schedule! Super happy with the service!

Just had 2013 Cmax serviced for it 30,000 mile maintenance plus checked out for 2.000 mile trip/ The level of detail of the inspection was great, even down to discovery that the tire sealant canister had expired and needed to be replaced,
My recent service with Tommie Vaughn was excellent, with the exception that my vehicle was in maintenance for 2 full days due to a few recalls that needed to be addressed in addition to the oil change. This dealership needs to have more loaner vehicles available to customers that purchase from them in the event the vehicle is not ready with the same day. It was challenging to manage drop off and pick up from my daughters school without having a loaner vehicle available from Tommie Vaugh.Sincerely,Karyn Kramer

Paid for a multi-point inspection, was provided a report that stated my battery was in good condition. A few days after while getting a subwoofer installed it was discovered my battery had extreme corrosion. Told the dealer, they just stated sorry it must have been missed.

I dont understand why the reviews are so high, are they fake?The customer service is TERRIBLE!!!I called about a repair, and Tina picked up, after asking my question she said Let me find out then hung up the phone on me. I called back 5 times over the next hour (to repair), and she would pick the phone up each time then hang it back up. What a waste of time. Go to another Ford dealership. This service is AWFUL!
Drove 250 miles to get my daughter a newly traded in used car from this dealership. Went great from the online negotiations, the inhouse transaction was fast, and a service department that got the car ready for our return trip home. One of the better car purchases I can remember.

Very average experience during my car buying process, and even some frustrating times as well. I bought a 2021 Mach E, and admittedly the car is their first year of making it, but I found that most of the employees did not know their product very well and in many instances, I had to do the majority of the research on their site and then tell them how things are and were. For example, the color of the Mach E, Infinite Blue was only available as a first edition, but no one could tell me why I was unable to pick it, so I spent alot of time researching this to finally find out the reason myself.In another instance, I wanted to buy the Ford Connection Charger early, so I could get it installed and ready to go for when my car arrived. The initial response from the person at Ford was that it will get lumped in with the car purchase. I again had to show them on their own site that you could buy it at any time, before, during or after car purchase.Finally, I gave a heads up I would be arriving to pick up my car, but upon arrival the car was still in storage, it was 2 hours prior to closing time, but the storage guy had gone home early, and NOONE else was capable of opening the storage, so much for back ups.Everyone was pleasant, I didnt feel like they pressured me into anything, but it was frustrating that the majority of the sale was MY effort and the knowledge mostly came from what I could find on their site and the internet, I should share in the commission.

Brought 2003 F150 pickup truck to replace stolen catalytic converters :( and while there new plugs and plug wires. Tommie Vaughn ordered after market replacements (ones for this older model no longer FoMoCo stock). Allowing for shipment of converters, reasonable turn-around time.
Best place to be. After me and my husband loss hope this place was the only place to bring back our hope. I really really appreciate Andrea Watson omg I dont know what we would have done without her. She is real . She so lovely nice patient. She made it happen for us after different place told us we will never get the car with the credit we have. I dont know what she did but she made it happen. I have had both positive and negative experiences with Tommie Vaughn, but the one constant throughout each experience is that the staff at Tommie Vaughn believes in taking care of their customers. Having purchased four vehicles in total from Tommie Vaughn Ford, my most recent experience could have been a disaster, but the team quickly swept in and fixed what could have been a very negative outcome. I brought my car in to replace a faulty tail light and for 60,000 mile service with no issues and left with issues. It took the dealership, 3 attempts and 4 weeks to figure out what was wrong with my car. They did eventually find the problem and fixed the power train issue. They also scratched my rear bumper when replacing the tail light and that still needs to be fixed. Just a pain to keep taking my car back in for issues the dealership caused.

Sometimes they do what they say sometimes they don’t. I would not go here again for any performance mustang work. What a headache, when I went back because the car was not working properly. They didn’t even look at the car. Its Friday park the car, didn’t write down what was happening. Oh do you need a ride somewhere? My husband had to speak to the manager to get a rental car for me. I guess it really is a mans world.
Never any issues or problems at the service department at Tommie Vaughn Ford. They are very good with communication and are thorough with the service on the vehicle. It is my opinion that the facility is one of the nicer and larger dealerships anywhere in the Houston area. My only mention is the lack of Saturday hours for service. Makes for a bit of an inconvenience, but it isnt intolerable.
Took my Expedition in to service engine light and Cruise not working. They fixed the vacuum then told me my servo motor on the cruise was bad and would be an extra $1000.00 for the it to be sent in from another dealer. I said no, took it home replaced the 2 switches on the steering wheel and shazam it worked and took me 30 minutes. Now I wonder if I even had a vacuum leak to begin with. Go somewhere else if its not warranty. I even canceled my recall they had on my Edge!!

I called the dealership about a letter that I received in the mail about a recall on my 2018 Ford Explorer. I made an appointment and went in, the service was exceptional and quick. It was such a pleasure from the time I arrived to the time I left. The wait was not long at all. I sure hate that I forgot the lady who assisted me, but I do know that if you ever need any service, please go and see the lady who’s office is decorated in Hello Kitty. It is a very warm and inviting experience there. I will be returning for all my maintenance on my vehicle.
A bit unorganized. Took my car in for recalls and came back with messed-up brakes? Not saying they caused it but I was also supposed to get a free check-up and it is obvious they didnt do that or else they would have definitely heard the noise and brought it up. When I called he said I could bring it in but to check them would be 145. Reasonable but not what was expected when I read what they should have checked originally.

Great experience taking my Lincoln MKX here for a diagnostic service. The service advisor Paula took the time to fully answer all of my questions and concerns, and went above and beyond to give me more information than I asked for. All this on a day they were very busy, but clearly they take customer service seriously. Everyone was friendly and took good care of my vehicle.
We just purchased a vehicle from Marvin at Tommie Vaughn. Marvin worked hard to make sure we were happy with the vehicle and the price we were paying. Due to COVID, I also appreciated being able to do most of the discussions and negotiating through text and phone calls. They have competitive pricing and everyone we dealt with was very nice and honest.
My Transmission was down and Randy Marek was my Service Advisor. He was very patient and kind and explained what needed to be done. Even though it took a long time to get my car back, Randy had set that expectation from the start and was great at communicating what was happening during this time. He was very responsive to both phone calls and emails and got back with me within 2 hours of reaching out. Overall a great experience and they made it easy.. :)
Terrible customer service from not only the sales person but also the financing person. Everyone was helpful until 1-I used outside financing and 2-once I signed the paperwork. Financing person was upset when I told her I wanted to check the rates at other financial institutions. She kept telling me it was a great rate at 4.45%. 😳. Went directly to my bank and was able to secure 2.5%. 😁. She further berated me and said I was only saving $20/month. I don’t know about you but that’s money I would rather not have to pay, if I don’t have to.Sam the salesperson stated my vehicle needed necessary recall repairs prior to them releasing the vehicle. Ok-cool. Only it will be two weeks. 😫. Don’t worry-I did receive a loaner car definitely a plus. Because I live about an hour away-he stated when the vehicle was ready he would meant me halfway. Except he failed to call and state the vehicle was ready. After several phone calls to Ford corp, I was able to confirm it was ready several days prior-Sam stated he would meet me at the dealership to review my new truck. But, when I showed for our confirmed appointment-he was out to lunch -great he left the keys at the front desk-never once reviewing the vehicles options. Upon further inspection-the truck was missing the floor mats 😡. Todd Brown was the only silver lining in this gloomy picture. He helped us verify the vehicles location and that the mats were missing. He stated he would have them shipped to my home.I would expect greater customer service from a company that has been around for over 100 years. Do better!!
Excellent service and very professional. I do recommend Paula Restivo as the go-to person; she is so friendly, very professional and will definitely take care of you. I had 2 recalls and a normal service check and it took them a couple of hours to fix everything. They also offered additional checks for a potential oil leakage they noticed while doing the service which turned out to be a small fix that they took care of at no cost. They also have a shuttle service that can pick you up and drop you off of your location, if its near by. All in all, it is a great service and I will definitely come back.
Took my wifes vehicle to Tommie Vaughns service department for a couple safety recalls and some routine maintenance. Worked with Liz who was extremely helpful and had great communication throughout. There was one very minor issue after the servicing and they quickly addressed it. Very positive experience overall.
We were in the market for a preowned F-350 dually to pull our 5th wheel. We had good credit and enough money for a down payment which obviously makes it easier when you are ready to buy. I had shopped within 500 miles of my zip code, compiled a list of 17 vehicles that were in my price range with low miles. Tommie Vaughn Ford had only one dually, but the price was good (really good) and the mileage was low, so we went with them. Sales, finance and service were excellent. These people went the extra mile for me and my wife. When I get ready to replace my wifes SUV, we will be going back to them. My personal opinion is that since they do not sit directly off of the freeway, they compensate by having good deals and excellent customer service.

Purchased a 2020 MDX from Tommie Vaughn Ford and the experience was great. The description of the vehicle was as described. The sale price was excellent! Tommie Vaugn gave me very reasonable trade in value for my old vehicle. Jose was our salesman and he was wonderful! His communication with us throughout the entire process was very much appreciated and valued. He made great efforts to accommodate our requests. There were a few cosmetic things that needed to be fixed in the vehicle we purchased and Jose made sure it got done not only in a timely manner, but the quality of the repairs were more than expected. I took my truck in for service. It took a day longer than estimated, which is not a big deal. When it was done, I checked the website to see how long the service department was open - it said 7. Got there at 6:01. Three guys inside wouldn’t open the door or even pay me the courtesy of telling me the website was wrong; they close at 6. Horrible customer service. I’ll never use this place again.
I have been to this location twice for service and I have been thoroughly impressed with both the work, the service reps and the quality of customer service here both times. Liz was our service rep for our Explorer and she was communicative, very knowledgeable and extremely friendly! Would highly recommend bringing your Ford for here for service!

Purchased a 2014 Ford Focus in April, 2020. from a used car place. Drove the vehicle for 8k miles assessing maintenance needs. Replaced a battery, 2 tires, and the front O2 sensor connected to exhaust. For two months I went to 3 Ford dealers about service, just asking and checking.......But THEN, I stumbled into Tommie Vaughn Ford. That was the last search and they performed all maintenance, including Warranty and Customer Satisfaction. I am so pleased with the entire dealership, I asked them about a job, which was not currently needed, by them or me.Look, I have gone for service quite a bit over 40 years.I am now recommending to everyone I know and meet; to take all makes and models of vehicles to TOMMIE VAUGHN FORD. This is NO joke. If you want to be satisfied and happy with vehicle maintenance needs, go to THEM alone!!! Sorry to put more workload on the dealership, but, they can handle it. This place NEVER answers the phone. I call the direct line to get through to the parts department. I am a local body shop owner and occasionally need parts so I try to call them to see if they have the part available but they NEVER answer.
Great experience with this dealership! Most of the process was handled via phone and text, and finance was the quickest I have experienced! They took the time to answer questions and werent pushy, but were also respectful of my time and didnt drag things out.

Three weeks ago, I saw a truck online that looked too good to be true, and the next day I bought it! Great time at Tommie Vaughn Ford and Id go back.Last year I almost replaced my reliable but 20-year old F-150 with a newer truck, but it just never happened.Too often other dealers said that ones sold, but come on in and look around. No thanks. Gave up for half a year and then started cruising the online postings again. I knew what I wanted: used, low mileage, V8 for towing, any color but white!I enjoyed buying a truck at Tommie Vaughn. The whole day I was waiting for something to go wrong and nothing did: it was a great day and I drove away in my new-to-me truck.They had the truck as advertised. A well-maintained 2016 red F-150 was shown to me, and after a test drive around the freeways, we started the paperwork. A few signatures and no handshakes (social distancing), then I asked before we completed the deal, could I take it to my mechanic in Clear Lake -thirty miles away- and let him look at it? They said they believed everything was OK and gave me the keys. My mechanic looked over it for almost an hour, then gave it two thumbs up, and said buy it. Started at 10 that morning, home by 4 with the new purchase.Great used truck, great price, great service, no pressure. My husband & I walked into Tommie Vaughn not knowing what to expect since our car search had been exhausting from other dealerships. The customer service starting with the receptionist was great, unlike others in the downtown/inner loop area. We then were greeted by Sam, our car salesman. He was so straight forward & truly passionate about the vehicles. We really appreciated his bluntness since we just wanted to get straight to the point as well! We returned the following day to meet with with the Finance Manager, David. He was also very straight forward & very helpful. We managed to get an amazing deal that we could not pass up. We drove away that day with the car of our dreams - very happy that we will no longer be sharing 1 vehicle in the 4th largest city in the United States. The 2017 Ford Explorer we chose was in incredible shape & had all the bells & whistles we could ever ask for. I had an excellent experience getting some service done recently. Randy was friendly, professional and helpful. He was responsive, pushed through some service for me when they were backed up, and made sure to stay in touch with me throughout. Everybody else was friendly and professional and I was satisfied with the quality and attentive service everbody provided.
A 4 hour visit to the Tommie Vaughn quick lane resulted in significant damage ($2,000+ estimated repair; more than the car was even worth) to the backside of my Ford Focus. The Tommie Vaughn reps made no mention of this damage upon picking up my car, which cannot be missed as shown in the attached pictures. Will not be returning to either the Tommie Vaughn Ford dealer, Body Shop or Quick Lane after my recent experience. It is impossible that a camera nor a human saw the accident occur, given the small footprint of this facility and size of the damage. I met with the service rep, service manager, and even the owner who all refused to take any responsibility for the incident. The service manager tried to push the entire event off by not returning my calls, leaving me to initiate all conversation. I asked if they would simply meet me in the middle for a mere rebate on my (overpriced) service, and the service manager said We will not do anything. This is all after they tried to claim there was no obstruction in the facility with the same color as the scrape and dent on my car (red i.e. the same color as the red poles on the premise). The color scrape was the same diameter as the entire dent on the car, undoubtedly proving that the incident occurred on their property and from a single incident. The most stressful facet of this experience was that I was trying to sell this car at the time to trade in for a vehicle for our expanding family as I am pregnant. When (a month+ later) I was able to sit down with the owner, I was offered a gift card to their Quicklane for future service. Laughable considering I would NEVER take my car here again and because I had already purchased a new vehicle by this time.The negligence of this facility regarding care of my car while in their possession and attempts to push off my incident or sweep it under the rug was incomprehensible. The dent on my car came on the heels of my standard oil change and repairs to my car running up a $500 bill, because they did not share an estimate of these repairs while in possession of my car before completing them. I should be able to trust my dealership to provide obvious upfront information regarding repairs to my car; no upstanding dealership or maintenance center performs repairs at that amount without providing details of the repairs with estimates. Just another example of poor customer service.If you want your car to be cared for and provide honest, transparent service, I would strongly recommend going anywhere else.I will be transparent in that this incident occurred months ago. At the time I thought I would let my emotions simmer before posting the review. Also being pregnant during all of this was an added stressor. I still would hate for someone to go through the months long saga and run around that I did.
Great Experience! Staff at the Service Center were great! Ms. Elizabeth and Ms. Paula were excellent in assisting with the process of the recall for my Ford Explorer.
Great customer service and experience purchasing a new 2019 Ford Ranger over the last weekend! Test drove the vehicle on Friday and walked out with the new truck Saturday before noon. The value for my trade in was reasonable and the staff was very helpful and accommodating.
We walked in and was immediately greeted by a competent sales person.
I bought my car (2011 Taurus Ltd) from TVF and have taken it there for service almost exclusively for 10 years. It still runs great! Always friendly and professional service.
Drop the car off wedesnday. No call back at 5 : 00 pm Thursday so I called at 5 : 10 pm and I was told I would be called back in the morning. Nothing.
Growing up my Dad always warned me of not trusting a car dealership. He would say they are shady critters and will lie to your face. Well this establishment confirmed all the bad things my old man warned me of all those years ago! Once they get your money they don’t care about any written agreements that both you and the dealership signed, such as fix/replacing items on a used car. Getting this all worked out has been like a chronic hemorrhoid ... painful.
While the work they did on my car was satisfactory, their communication and customer service were strongly lacking. When I scheduled my appointment online I chose the Night Owl Drop off option. However, when I got there after they closed, all of the entrances were blocked too. I had to wait for security to get there so I could drop it off. I dropped it off on a Thursday night and received no communication regarding my cars status, although I called multiple times. No one was able to tell me the status of my car until I had called at least 4 times. It was finally ready on Monday afternoon.
