Nice haircut, great attention, the only thing they should change their brushes...

Took my kids to this place because my sister told me that I always take them to a cheap place so they never do a good job but didnt expect to have this experience cut my kids skin one of them cut his eyebrows he said because my son was moving and didnt apologize or felt bad about it. My other son got a completely different hair cut than what we asked for, I dont think this people work with their 5 sense some of them look like they are high never going back.

This is a safe environment for all kids. The new management has changed the shop for the better. It is more organized and less arguments. There is now more babers than before. This is a wonderful barbershop.

I AM SO GLAD THAT I DECIDED TO GIVE THIS BARBERSHOP ANOTHER TRY!!!!!!So I booked through google on August 22, 2021, for two kids cuts, it was busy and packed, obviously due to the fact that school in this area started the next day. I waited maybe like 30 mins, wasn’t greeted or anything and I was like you know what, I’m going to just leave! Fast forward to today, I said let me go to their actual website and not through google, I want to give this establishment another try bc they seem like they do amazing work.(Reviews and all) I called Gene the Barber, he said he was booked, but gave me a time to come through and ensured that my babies would be serviced and he apologized for my first experience, bc I did tell him, lol. I came in, I was greeted, as was everyone that came in. So the guy in the last chair on the left, cut my boys hair. He did and awesome job and he was patient with my boys(who don’t like to get their hair cut by the way🤦🏾). As a mom it’s always important to have someone patient, efficient, quick and professional when it comes to kids hair cuts! Thank you guys so much I look forward to bringing my boys in, now that I have finally found a professional kid friend establishment! Y’all be blessed❤️🥰

This is a great barbershop all the barbers are professional and good at cutting hair. Most of all very respectful. They know how to interact will small children.

Greg did a great job. He heard me when I said I couldnt have a razor used on my head. He did everything with clippers. Great work!

Went in because the wait time at my usual place was 2 hours. Saw it on the way home and stopped in. While it cost a little more than I usually pay this place was fantastic. Carlos did a great job on my haircut as well as cleaning up my beard. I will def be back for all my future haircuts. I should say my wife was also amazed by my new haircut.

4/16/21 would make my 4th visit here. I have had a mostly great experience. I recently had an issue with the timeliness of one of the barbers who had been cutting my son’s hair for the first 3 visits. This presented a big problem for me, as this was the case each time I visited, even though I had been given an appointment time and was on time each time. I called and asked if I could speak with someone about the matter. Andre was EXTREMELY accommodating to my son, and he was understanding of my frustrations. He offered for us to return(as I had left the shop after waiting almost an hour after my scheduled appointment) and to take care of my son’s haircut at no charge. I was fully willing to pay for services rendered, so I greatly appreciate his professionalism and great attitude about the situation. I would return to this shop because I like the environment, it is clean, and the owner is extremely nice and accommodating, and also is sincere about being a professional and keeping safe practices, which is what keeps any customer coming back. I highly recommend you visit this shop for your barber needs!

Visited this shop as a walk-in over the weekend. Never made it to the chair. Barbers smell like weed and the atmosphere isn’t one that I would bring my sons or myself to. No thanks.

Dre the barber as well as being the owner is very professional. He gave my son a fresh cut and he did it in good time and I will be returning back. We were in and out within 30 min 😊

Im very picky with my hair, but needed a barber that was affordable and high quality, boy Shawn is all that and some! Killed my low bald fade, braid game on point! Man the shop is beautiful! Deff recommend for sure! I have straight long thick hair, he was able to cut it just the way I wanted it, it is very difficult for me to find a barber to manage my hair, but Shawn at HD Tonsorium barber shop never lets me down, I have a few friends who go to him as well and they wont let anyone else touch there hair. First time bring my fifteen year old son to this location. Mr. Jesse unfortunately missed the mark on what my son asked for. He showed him the image on the left before he started and he got what you see on the right side. After he was done my son told him thats not what he wanted and showed him the image again. Mr. Jesse then told him he was sorry but that it still looked good. My son was growing out his hair and was upset in the end result. All he wanted was a little taken off the bottom but instead he went all the way up taking all of the hair off from the sides and giving him a high fade.

First time coming to this shop and definitely wont be the last. The atmosphere is really nice and the barbers are really nice. Highly recommend.

Booked online. However, they didnt show that the appointment existed, even though we had a confirmation number. Since we were in a bind, and they were the only shop open on a Sunday, we waited for more than an hour for a barber to become available.The shop was clean, the front desk guy was professional, and all of barbers seemed to all do great work. My daughter was happy with her cut. However, we will definitely stick to our regular Master barber, who has her in and out in less than 30 minutes.

Met with DJ a couple weeks ago and I must say I’m very impressed. He was very professional and courteous and hooked me up with a shave a beard trim. I will definitely be back to see DJ in the near future.Thanks High Definition!

So as man that gets his hair cut every 3 to 6 months (Somtimes longer). Wow! What a difference of cut you get from going to this barber shop and your average haircut place. I was actually introduced to this shop on unlikely circumstances but glad I did. Definitely found a new barber shop that has won my business from here on out.(Going to get my hair cut more often for sure now)....Yeah it was K.P. but I seen three other guys walk out with just as good of a cut from other barbers as well

Last minute cut and the gentleman came back so very nice. The whole staff was extremely nice. My son as well as myself were greeted with a warm reception which I dont often receive. Greatest Barber ever, son been going there since he was 5, hes fifteen, never got a bad cut. We now life 21 miles away and he do not want to change barbers.

MOST of the employees here excluding Mr. Scott are very disrespectful, and dont comply with the way you want your haircut. I wouldnt recommend this shop to anyone that values professionalism.

Went into this establishment as a walk-in and was greeted in the most friendly manner any one could expect. The young lady at the front counter was very courteous and professional. She not only informed me that I was going to be seated but even pointed the barber who was going to take care of me. After about a 15 minutes wait, my barber greeted me and introduced himself as BJ. He attentively listened to how I wanted my beard styled and even repeated my instructions. As you all can tell by my lengthy post, my experience was a very gratifying one and I am already planning to go back again. Thanks BJ and High Definition.

High definition is my families go to place now. They have plenty of available barbers for walk-ins, lots of space, its clean, and kid friendly. I have had two different barbers there and they were both A+! Whether youre getting a fade or have straight hair like I do they will hook you up!

Worst place ever! Never heard of a barber shop where I had to make an appointment and when I get there on time I still had to wait for 2 hours. I guess appointments doesn’t matter. Also, when my boys got their hair cut it wasn’t even that crisp like other barbers do. It didn’t even look like they got a haircut. They didn’t even like it. I wont be bring my boys here or coming back ever again.

I’ve been going to this barbershop going on three weeks now. As I must say this is one of the barbershops I’ve been to in a long time. BJ knows how to get the taper fade 💯 and takes pride of his work. All of the barbers has skills and I also enjoy those old fashioned barbershop talks everytime I walk into that shop. So let me start by saying that the place is clean, plays great music, and has a great atmosphere. Thats why I gave it two stars and not one. But I got the worst haircut I have ever received in my LIFE and paid $25 for the pleasure. I am also a licensed cosmetologist with 15 years experience and explained exactly what I wanted while giving Troy, the barber, room to do his thing artistically. My only requirements were please dont cut in too deep at the nape, please so some designs and parts, and please do not make me look like Steve Harvey in the 90s. Please do not make me look like Moeshas daddy. I would like something jazzy and feminine. Guess who looked like they sell used Saturns? Me. I told him that I wear my hair curly so I get that it will look different once I wet it up... it was lopsided. Not split level. Not a gumby. He literally cut a chunk out of my head. I look a mess. I wont say never ever come to this barber shop because they will ruin your hair and youll have to wear head wraps in the heat until it grows back also it is 2019 and they only take cash. I WILL say do NOT go to Troy. He does not listen. Also, he doesnt think parts look intelligent for some reason. They have great hours, though. I had high hopes. Now I just have... 25 less dollars and an awful haircut.********************UPDATE*******************So I called one of the co-owners as he requested in the response, below. He was so apologetic and kind about the situation and generously offered to have one of his other 8 barbers fix my haircut for me. I agreed, because how much worse could it be? If all else fails Ill just shave all down and start over. I arrived at the shop (which i still really love, btw.) at the agreed upon time and learned that the other co-owner would be cutting my hair. We consulted about what I wanted and how he could fix it for me and then he got to work. Yall. Y A L L . When I tell you this man has a GIFT. This was seriously the best haircut I have ever gotten. Ever. I feel so cute and it looks SO good. Exactly what I wanted! Not only that but I want to reiterate how nice this establishment is. Good music, clean, friendly service. And attentive owners. These gentleman are really on to something. Ladies: you know how sometimes it can get uncomfortable in the barber shop? Not here. This is a really safe, friendly and comfortable place to get your hair cut. I will charge that first haircut up to nobodys perfect and everyone has an off-day. I took my 10 year old son yesterday for the first time at the new location on fry rd and I had a terrible experience, Sean was his barber and I dont think he had experience with straight hair, he did a terrible job, and cut my sons neck so badly, I just had to take my child and go without finishing because he was chopping his hair off and I was ready to cry, I have left my sons hair grow for 2 years and was waiting for the right time so he can get a nice style, what a regret taking him to this guy
