My dog thought my movie theater chairs where tasty treat. When i walked in i was shocked. Called around and found southwest Auto Upholstery. I knew it wasnt car related but figured i would give it a try based on the reviews. I talked with Rene (hope i spelled it right) and he gave me a great price to repair my leather couch. Thankfully it was just the leg rest that she tore up. I came back a week later and the leg rest where good as new. I couldnt be happier. I saw some of the cars that these guys have done and can tell you its quality work. If i ever need upholstery done I will definitely come here.

It takes a lot for me to write a review, but Rene and his team at Southwest Auto Upholstery are well deserving.I had Rene do a complete makeover with custom leather interior, headliner, carpet, seatbelts and all four door panels. Their work was impeccable, as was their service.One of the seat belts was a little problematic, but they worked on it until it was corrected and made sure it worked perfectly.Their work is also affordable, and I dont think Id ever take my vehicles to anyone else.Ive already referred Southwest Auto Upholstery to some of my friends and would gladly give them the highest recommendation.Thanks again to Rene and his entire team. I rarely write negative reviews unless it’s really bad. After i read all the positive reviews on this car upholstery place I decided to use him. I wanted to do the drivers seat and door panel for my 1995 bmw at first appointment he didn’t have the same leather shade of the seat so he said he will have to ask and will let me know next day. 2 days passed never heard from him I drive there only to know that he can’t match the seat with the rest of the seats. But assured me he can match the door panel because it’s vinyl not leather and promised it would take 2 to3 days so 3 days passed and panel is not ready I called him he said he needs 2 more days for it to be ready so I passed by again and door panel was not ready and he needed an extra day. Finally after 6 days of waiting went to pick it up and was very disappointed with the work not good quality different texture you could see it wasn’t glued correctly on the edges there were bumps underneath the Vinyl very disappointing Here is the worst part when it was time to pay the guy Rene who is also the owner says he doesn’t accept credit card payment Only checks or Zalle app through the bank app.i asked why didn’t you tell me this from the beginning and he didn’t have an answer. So really bad experience with this guy hope this review will help others making a better decision before working with this place.

I highly recommend this place, i did replaced my rear glass in my convertible beetle this place is the best in town, everyone’s in houston said i have to change the whole top, since the rear glass was broken, They did really good job on it i got my car back, and its looks great and i was really Satisfied.

They are the best

I have just got my 2003 BMW e46 coupes headliner refinished with charcoal colored alcantara. The front door handles, and center console wrapped with carbon fiber cloth at Southwest upholstery by Rene. The jobs were perfectly done, I am 100% satisfied with quality of the works. I will highly recommend this place for any interior work!

All the seats from my Cadillac were change and the carpet also my truck looks brand new everyone that see’s it love the wonderful job that was done Thank you for the beautiful work

Final update: Rene was able to sort out the wiring issues, and was very accommodating throughout the process. There was still some residual damage to my rearview that I have to live with, or address at a later date. Added a star back based off the good service and interactions to get my other issues resolved .Edit: Review pending ... Updating to knock a few stars off my review for now. Found other damage around the car now that Ive had it longer. Most noticable is damage to my rear view mirror; a piece of trim is now missing, presumably knocked off. And wiring for my rear mirror and radar detector are missing, presumably trapped inside the roof liner. Trying to get things resolved. Will update review once finalized.Had Southwest redo my headliner and pillars. They now look great, and Rene was very responsive working through a few questions I had.

I’m from Florida and just moved to Texas and didn’t know any good shops to get my 2011 Chevy Camaro Convertible repaired at. I thank God I found Southwest Auto Upholstery, they made me feel very comfortablewith leaving my car in their hands. My car was damaged during the hurricane Harvey. They did a awesome job at replacing my CONVERTIBLE TOP, replacing my FRONT BUMPER, Repainting my Whole Vehicle back to the Factory color. All the work that was Done was flawless! They always keep you updated with your cars progress during the repair process. I would definitely say this is the best shop I’ve been to and I would highly recommend them to anyone that’s wants any type of repairs done. GO TO SOUTHWEST AUTO UPHOLSTERY!!!!!
