Would recommend to anyone. Service and work was excellent. Finished when told it would be and very satisfied with price. Even gave me ride home when I brought it in just good good work and people
I went in for a suede interior and starlight panel and I was given a botched job on the starlight panel. When I raised concern on the finished product they discounted $100 and I was told I could pay extra to get it corrected at a later date. I had my vehicle returned to me with what appeared to be scratches and paint over spray from nearby projects they where working on which I had just gotten a paint correction and ceramic coating done prior to turning my vehicle into their shop. After attempting to contact them to get the botched starlight fixed I was not given a response.. Aside from that they did a good job on the rest of the suede interior wrapping.
I had renter take slingshot and return it with ripped seat. The seat was upgraded one from polaris. These guys reupholstered the seat and was amazing.
We had a new convertible top installed last week. We are extremely pleased with the quality of work and value. We the employees are very professional and extremely helpful. They committed to a price and stood by it not like other shops where the entice you in with a price and once youre there it sky rockets. Highly recommend
Received two quotes to replace my 2008 Pontiac G8 headliner. This crew came in at 50% and knocked it out in 1 day vs Shop B 2 day quote. Looks fantastic and hope it holds up. I’d recommend them on value & speed.
Wow, these guys are a master of their craft! I came to them with an obscurely difficult project that I knew would be a huge challenge. They thought outside the box and made it happen! the results, customer service and pricing exceeded my expectations in every way. It was such a pleasure to meet this team on a professional and personal level! Wonderful people!! Thanks for everything!!! I HIGHLY recommend!!!
Owner was very nice
Dont really have to say much because if you want something done they got what it takes to help make yo decisions
The owner is very unprofessional. I had all my interior that I paid for destroyed and lost at his shop and mr. Coleman wouldnt reimburse me in any type of way. Bad business man....
They are like a shade tree mechanic never put your car back together like that got it. I have been trying to get the metal pieces that cover the metal pieces under my seat. On my Mercedes my niece is a blue chip basketball player that is supposed to be practicing for her freshman year in college at a major University. She stuck her foot under the seat and cut the top of her foot 8 stitches. Im a attorney and I will see you in court for injuries to her foot suffering and pain. Dont use this company its not the same company the older Man owned. New owners bad service dont waste your money are time. See you all in court
These guys do great work. The owner is getting long in the tooth but hes got some great young guns working for him! Hes worked 4 cars and a boat interior for me. Always high quality.
The customer service is great. The quality of work is great. The price is very reasonable. I would recommend this upholstery shop to anyone. Ive had them work on a couple of high end vehicles with absolutely no disappointment. Very friendly environment.
An institution in Houston. Beautiful work, used them for 30 years. The guy who owns it is a crumugon, but colorful.
I have been here a few times and it is always great work at a reasonable price. Good people!
Replaced leather on steering wheel and added padding to the drivers seat of Ram 3500. The workmanship is excellent and the price was fair. Mr. Coleman is very friendly. The steering wheel was $250 and the added seat padding was $65. After having the work done, the seat was very comfortable. Highly recommend.
Total waste of time ! And a scam wants you leave money for work and cant even give a written est !
Great craftsmanship. Some of the staff have been there 20 years +. Although things get lost in translation easily so its good to be as involved as possible with any project. They are especially good with restoring older car seats and interiors. CLIFF is the office person. He is white. He treats his mostly Mexican staff as slaves. CLIFF IS A BOLD FACED LIER. He will look you in the eye and promise you one thing and completely blow it off. I am speaking from three weeks of experience from promises and guarantees. All lies. None of the work was done. The shop does good work but do not go through Cliff. He will lie and manipulate you and always fall short of what he promises. Take my advice. Ask for Oscar. He knows more. Coleman, who is the owner, is the real boss and anything you want done, ask him. I really cant emphasize enough how disappointed I am with Cliffs work ethic.
Beware of this business. Poor workmanship and poor supervision of work done. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Broke just about every plastic molding in our car when replacing the headliner. Lost a piece that holds the hands free microphone.Reupholstered some cushions for which new foam was specified when ordering and when we got them back, the old foam had been put back in, as well as some plastic bags. Yes, plastic shopping bags. This business has been a headache. Not worth it. Never again.
Continuously worse and worse. Started with front seats. Stitching was very good but they did not fix or add any padding, even where the lack of padding caused the original cloth to tear. Seats remained very uncofortable. At 350 each I kind of choked but heard they were good.So I went back and got the rear bench done - -and had them add the padding to the front. The beach came out great, but they did not match the piping from the front. So they said they would repair the front seats to match. Another 350 for the benchThe last time I went, I had them replace the carpet and fix the front seats. The carpet was the worst job I have ever seen. Loose areas, excess carpet, gaps. Honestly it was the worst carpet job I have ever seen. They did fix the piping color, but one piping insert came loose and backed out about half of the length. Still no padding.Seems there is no quality check before they send it out the door, and Im completely fed up. Im paying someone else to fix everything just because Im tired of using them. Wont ever go back.
Cliff will take great care of you and treat you like family. Good work on my seat. Thanks guys!
Great customer service and done in s timely manner
First, I went to this place because they had a reputation for doing good work on older cars. I needed the headliner replaced on my 2008 VW and for a reasonable price they said they could do it in 1 day.Took 1 day to put the head liner in. Here is where the problems began. When replacing my headliner they failed to properly connect my dome light. This means they had to remove the whole headliner to correct the issue. Said I could bring it back in the next week and leave it for another day. Left the car, NO REPAIR. said I had to come back. Came and dropped the car of a week later for 2 day NO REPAIR. Claimed they had been too busy. Over 4 weeks I wasted 5 days screwing around with this. Unacceptable. Finally, after a third set of 2 days my light has been repaired. HOWEVER MY CAR RECEIVED AN UNACCEPTABLE LEVER OF INTERIOR DAMAGE DURING THIS PROCESS. When I picked the car up it had a nick in the leather armrest, my dome light has signs of damage to the plastic, and they left several rusty razor blades and tools in my car.All in all, I will not be taking in any car or recommending this place to anyone. The guys running it seem like they are great but the weekly cash help they hire is crap.
When good enough is all you need. I had my headliner and sunroof cassette wrapped. They were done in a darker color than original, so it doesnt match my pillars. There are folds, creases and bubbles in it. Then, they used a thick foam on the sunroof cassette so that it is really difficult to open/close. Yet, refused to discount price or offer anything else.Again, if you want it to look like original in any form or fashion, keep looking. If you dont really care what your car looks like and just want it done, sure: come on in. The people were pretty nice, despite doing no better job than I could have done with my eyes closed.
Brought my landcruiser seats in to be recovered. I expressed I wanted the highest of quality vinyl or leather. Not at all what I got. After the high quality vinyl started ripping and cracking i brought the seats back. They admitted to using cheap vinyl but refused to do anything about it. That was just one issue with the seats. After a few weeks the headrest started coming apart then all the clips under my seats started coming loose. Do yourself a favor and go to westside upholstery. Their work cost more but at least you wont have to pay to have the work redone by someone else.
Had my head liner re-done. They did a great job for a great price. Super nice guys.
Auto upholstery by Coleman is the only place I go, Ive known them for years great work excellent every time.
Good experience with Coleman. Good people and did a great job on my 1969 Mercedes 280SL with a combination of re-upholstery, seat belt install and installing seat cover kit. Good experience. Good pricing and service
Great. Place. Reupholster. Your. Car. Mr. Cole. And. His. Workers. Very. Nice vget. The. Job. Done right
Did a great job upholstering my RV furniture finished in under 2 weeks.
ABSOLUTELY CARES ABOUT CASH ONLY AND NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Ive taken in a steering wheel that I wanted to get leatherwrapped and they did a passable job where it looks good enough and I told the old fart owner that I am not satisfied with the work done. His arrogant self told me he cant do anything about the poor work. I believe its not that it is out of his ability it is that he REFUSED to honor the customers request. There is an old saying goes the customer is ALWAYS right. Apparently, this DOES NOT apply to him. I walked out of there upset and said he just lost a customer. Please dont take your cars interior parts to him for any upholstery work. He is a selfish old pig who needs to go to nursing home and let someone else run the show.
I tried to make an inquiry about restoring my head liner. The person who I spoke with on the phone was unprofessional and did not seem interested in helping me at all. I told him that this seemed obvious and he said that he didnt care and he hung up on me. No wonder why this place is going out of business.
Had seats reupholstered several years back. Refoamed and reupholstered in vinyl. Seats came out terrific and made the car look like new just with the seats alone.
Very professional people, good service,Ask for Adrian
Got my headliner replaced on old accord. Exactly what they said. They even let me wait in office during 3hr job.
The one guy Cliff told me my sun visors would be done in two days. I call 4 days later, they havent started any work. They dont have the material. Etc, etc excuses. The guy Coleman tells me he doesnt care if i take my business elsewhere. He is rude and has no manners on the phone. I know shops get busy. People need to be honest with their customers and never set a hard deadline on work completion unless they have 0 doubts about it being done. I had an expectation. Im still riding in my car days later with no sun visors. My wife is picking them up today. Dont bother trying to do business with these guys. The management isnt serious about doing business. They will disappoint you.
The people are very friendly and knowledgeable.
I have been doing business with Colmans for years they have exceeded the expectations on every occation. Though the building may look rough the service is grewat and the quailty of work is Excellent. If you need any upholstery work from Auto, Motorcycle, or boat. they can handle it. Thanks guys keep up the good work.
Patacy recovered and they did a great job
Good service and quality
Awesome place been there forever!!!!
They are the best, beautiful job!
Bad customer service
Terrible work and bad customer service.
Larry was very thorough and informative. He and his team selected the perfect material to replace the front seat of my 1971 Cutlass. He was also honest, patient, and very pleasant. He obviously knows his stuff, given the amount of classic cars getting work in his shop. I’ll definitely be a repeat customer should I need any auto upholstery work done on future cars.
