This is how the apartment looks when it rains the slightest. The last 2nd and 3rd photos of adjacent apartments on the same day. Your car may breakdown if it’s old model. They don’t even clear the gutter so that water can get drained out in 5 minutes. Forget about cleaning the gutter for water draining, they don’t even care for regular complaints regarding apartment maintenance.Reply to the owner : Unfortunately, the fact is that the contractors who did the road work are the reasons for the water getting stagnant at one place . Luckily I know the difference between stagnant water and flooding water . Try repairing the roads instead of complaining on rain water flooding . Those pictures clearly shows you the difference between neighboring apartments and your apartments. As per your theory of Houston flooding, even the other apartments should have same kind of flooding. And I guess it just won’t flood in a single apartment. And those pictures are after a day of rainfall. So please repair the roads and show your dynamism instead of complaining on floods.
We’ve been living her for about 8 years. The last management was great but the new one, not so much. It takes a long time for maintenance to come and fix stuff, the water goes out or there’s no hot water almost every Friday. You’ll see cockroaches EVERYWHERE. in the kitchen, cabinets restroom EVERYWHERE. it’s gotten way worse this year. only one pool is clean, the gym doesn’t have many equipment, the apartment overall is dirty. i love the layout and the price but it’s honestly not worth. every time it rains, there’s parts of the apartment that floods and it stays like that for days. i’m glad i’m moving this year.
Living quality in this place is average. Its cheap and convenient for UHCL students as the school is close by. They keep the surroundings very clean but i feel they lack resources to run an apartment complex. They respond very slowly on repairs. Also they send notices to houses without proper investigation.
(If there was to option to give Zero stars or Negative stars I would have given that). This is to International students who are joining University of Houston-Clearlake, Dont even consider living in these apartments. There are many apartments nearby and they provide some good Service and clean rooms. Do not think like ...this is the closest to university, we did that and we made a mistake.
The place is beautiful, no doubt about it. it is very near to the university. But, they are really bad with service. They will never pick the call, if they do, they will note the issue but do not respond. AC goes down during summer and the minimum number of days the technician takes to arrive is about 10 days, after which he says something else needs to be done, which again takes another 10 days. You need a service done, request for it, 2 weeks before inhand!! Been here for 2 years yet its the same. Hope they try to turn things around and make it worthy.
Me, my wife and at the time 11 month old daughter moved in here and it was a nightmare from the start… we were essentially catfished. First night we could hardly sleep despite the whole day of moving before it due to building noises. Sounded as if the upstairs neighbor was going to fall through the ceiling to cuddle. It was loud enough to wake up our daughter on the other side of the apt! There were so many things wrong with my unit safety related that we could not stay there. From paint chipping off the ceiling and falling on the floor in our hungry crawling baby’s room to routing the scalding hot water through the cold side of the sink. The tile in the bathroom was hanging off the wall like a flag on a flag pole, maintenance decided to use a wad of duct tape as a drawer stop in the kitchen which failed and the drawer landed on my wife’s foot. Oh yea and the infestation is still going on… similar to what would happen to an abandoned car that was filled with wendys french fries… we were right across the walkway from a neighbor that called himself “fire” and was constantly high and had other people coming around almost daily. My 5’3” wife had to bend at the knees to rinse the top of her head with the very low shower head… imagine my struggle being 6 ft…. I had to bend over just to rinse my arm pits. The toilet was worse though… as an adult male I didn’t fit on the little toddler sized toilet. And before you go thinkin I’m trying to make myself sound “blessed”, my wife nearly had to do the same thing. You couldn’t just sit in one position and go #1 and #2…. You had to pick one and shift accordingly… management did nothing to fix the incredible noise issue with the building yet when we moved out after only 3 weeks in hell, they stated they tried to work with us by scheduling this and that but manager was dodging most of our calls and emails. They also offered to move us into an upstairs unit but then i guess the manager decided to have a conscience one day and told us she can’t move us in to that unit due to a know issue where smoke from other units adjacent gets into that unit. We paid for movers a second time within 30 days… didn’t care… we could NOT live like that. Especially with nearly no solutions or plans for solutions or barely any communication from management. We moved in during a 6 weeks free special yet they stuck us with a bill of 6,700 on our credit for staying there for i believe 25 days. If anyone knows an attorney that fights leases i need 1. I’ll add photos after i get them off my storage driveUPDATE: my response to clearlake apartment homes. NO! You told us to wait two weeks to get another unit cleaned so we can move there thinking that would remedy our problems but then i guess you remembered there was a smoke issue like i stated in the initial review. Don’t come on here and post some baloney trying to make it seem like you guys were doing something. You guys literally did nothing. Seriously, for how much of an emotional and mentally trying period of our life having anything to do with your property, don’t even TRY to say anything. Just accept the VERY bad review and be better… if you can… anything you say on here that you were “doing” or “trying to do” is just a lie to the public.
I have made several attempts to let the manager of our apartments that several of the apartments are being filled with 7-12 people in each apartment! This is not only a SAFETY HAZARD but also illegal!! Nothing is being done about the problem! The management has ignored me! They noise and odd hours is just out of control! I will be reporting them to the housing department and fire department since nothing is being done.
So I must say, and we have to take in consideration of and due to the pandemic that we have lost alot, yet have gained and learned from this. These apts to me are cozy. The staff as well as maintenance try their best to make the residents happy which is what matters the most. I know consistency when I see it, and I know when someone is trying to go above and beyond to finish something they started. Patience is the key here ppl. Keep that in mind. Maintenance are human ppl too, not superheroes lol..I gave it a good rating because Im happy, and as long as they deliver so will i.
Hi everyone, who ever is thinking of moving here. Please DO NOTThe management isn’t responsive at all. They don’t get things done for weeks. They don’t seem to care about picking up calls during office hours. I called them up five times today and it was never answered. I’m never signing a lease with these people again.
Worst apartments, worst management, new problems every other day, no service. Not recommended at all
Horrible management and horrible maintenance. They are of no help. My toilet broke down it’s been a week still they did not fix it . Every time I go to the office they keep delaying and postpone. This new management is frustrating.
They should give negative stars in GoogleWorst place to live inNever respond to anythingI have like tons of maintenance requestsThey wont respond to anythingHow many times we callIt goes to the voicemailWorst managementI recommend people not to rent homes here.
This Apartment management are one of the worst kind.Their office timings is from 9:00pm to 6:00pm. We call them around 12:00pm they wontt pick the call even if they are at office, then visited their office at 3:30pm on Tuesday office was locked . Our Ac is not working since 15 days they never bothered to repair it . If we go and ask for a temporary AC until they get it fixed they want us to deposit 500 dollars. People at front desk in IVY clear lake apartment dont work according to the office timings. Since most of the people staying at their apartments are students they are taking things for granted .
The property managers are changing every few weeks. And the staff always provid new information and blames it on the manager who just left property. Staff and management doesnt have disciplined information and can fool apartment resident as per their convenience.
High Five to The Outstanding Staff of Clear Lake Apartment Homes especially Raquel. Couldnt recommend these ladies any higher. Utmost professionalism and courtesy. They absolutely add the qualities and standards that have been missing from the business world for a long time!!! Thanks for all your help Raquel. You are definitely one of their biggest assets. Your kindness, patience, and hard work are well appreciated. Keep up the good work!!!
Worst apartments ever to live in(If there was an option to give zero stars I will give that)
Worst place to live in. My brothers are literally suffering living in there, please change the staff in the leasing office
Dont even consider living hereWorst experienceYou guys havent refunded the deposit i made for an apartment even after 4 months of vacating it die to the horrible condition of water flodding and roaches in itBut you guys cant even wait a day to clarify the extra charges you put on the tenants
From day one our dishwasher doesn’t work and they never replaced it but they keep on removing the tickets just by doing nothingRoaches in this property are more than the people living hereInternational students for uhcl don’t even consider living here
Worst place I’ve ever stayed in. Not professional at all. Worst 13 month lease I ever signed!!!! Do not move here!!!
Office management and maintenance team are amazing and genuinely care about their residents! That has to be one of the best parts about this community, Yes I do love the area but its the staff that made me decide to renew my lease here. Why you asked, Because, they make themselves available to our needs, especially with what been going on today in our country. Raquel and the Property Manager have truly been front and clear. Thanks again for all that you all do!!!!
Karen and Brenda are running office and they will provide wrong information verbally, and then charge you extra and when questioned they will ask for email proof. The key is they never send email after conversation.
They will all of a sudden charge you extra other than rent and blackmail you saying we will file a legal case on you if you ask about the refunds and they wont further answer you.
It’s been less than a month since I moved here . The management is really very unresponsive . It’s really ordeal to deal with managers and staff Who don’t respond to your needs and the service is really poor . Any small request can be expected to be followed up multiple times but still not getting answered .Expect no replies to email as well . Haven’t had such a bad experience staying at any apartment complexes . Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone .
What more can be said? This complex is amazing and it all starts at the top with Raquel and Karen!! They are knowledgeable, helpful and a pleasure to work with. Best office staff ever!!
I dont understand how you could not find me in your system. Cuz yall are really quick about finding my information when rent is due.
I dont think this apartment complex gets managed. 50 year old buildings that need serious renovation. Horrid flooding. Roaches. Smells bad.
I love my new apartment. Raquel was very helpful to help assist me with getting electricity for my home. Very patient and kind. ❤️❤️❤️
Professional, courteous, awesome listeners, fast action, and personable, are some of the qualities I experienced from the home consultants, and management, at The Clear Lake Properties...Raquel, addressed all of my concerns, and needs, while Karen, The Property Manager, personally showed me properties, and recommended one, that turned out to be the home for me...Quiet, clean, beautiful and safe.Highly recommended!!!
This place is really great, Ive been here a week and Im really loving it. The staff and office and community is so wonderful I refer this property to everyone!
Thanks Karen for making this place Liveable again. Hope this good works continues forward. Next best thing is to increase the security to the apartment by making a Secured entry. Looking forward to enjoy my stay from now
Raquel is a superb spokesperson and representative for the Clearlake home property. She answers our questions precisely and promptly. Thanks!
Raquel was very awesome and helpful. Plus with the help of other management made me happy. So far so great. Thanks Clearlake Apartment Homes!
The current management has taken the prices rooftop and no service at all. They will have excuse of every single service. Please, prefer Lakeshore apartment instead.Although, Sales pitch is awesome.
Came to tour. Manager karen took to me tour model so beautiful. Loved the wow fridge got me a snack while touring. Thank you karen for making me feel welcome!!I will be back with my application in march.
The staff here is awesome, they take care of you if there are issues, and they are kind - ESPECIALLY KAREN!! She is awesome!
Amazing property to reside on. Staff is very friendly. Raquel is always so eager to reply to any concerns brought to her attention.
My family live at the apartments and its a health hazard. They reported the mold officially to the apartment management a few times and eventually they came to fix the situation by painting over the mold. They did not treat the mold or clean the vents. Now the mold is back and there are two young children in the apartment. The management is very irresponsible. My family cant afford to break the lease so they are hostages in this mold infested apartment. Shame on you.
Raquel has always went above and beyond to satisfy residents needs! I really appreciate her!
I have been living in this apartment for the past 1 and a half year and its really great. The manager Ms. Evelyn is very cooperative and would thank her hospitality. All my concerns and requests were been quickly taken by her. I would recommend this apartment taking into consideration of the staff and services which Ivy Apartments offer.
Excellent service by the management, @marcy was real sweetheart, making sure to follow up with the service request and fixing the issues. @adrian was great fixing the stoves and the faucets.Thank you guys.
We’ve lived here for about six months. luckily our lease ends in two months... a major complaint is that we pay for pest control and yet still have a pest problem in our unit. another complaint is that maintenance has come in my unit when i wasn’t home and left muddy foot prints all throughout the house. in addition to that the walls and windows are extremely thin so you can hear your neighbors as well as you can hear people walking around outside. also the apartment is insulated poorly and our electric bill is $250+ a month.... and to top everything off, i’ve seen previous complaints about neighboring units being repainted and you being able to smell the paint fumes in your own unit. you would think that management would warn you of when a unit next to yours would be repainted because my apartment reeks of paint and i can’t even stay in my own apartment due to the smell and me being pregnant. when i called and told the front office the woman was extremely rude and hung up on me. 0/10 would recommend this apartment complex. definitely want out asap.
This apartment complex isnt new by any means, however, in my own experience I dont feel like the reviews left for this complex are fair. You get what you pay for. Stephanie in the front office has always been very helpful and kind. The maintenance men on the property are out picking up residents trash/dog poop daily.. Maybe if the Ivy community would work together to keep THEIR complex clean, you wouldnt be dealing with the trash and poop issues. Maintenance has been timely with any issue we have had and we have never seen bugs in our unit. All in all, I love our home and Im glad we chose the Ivy.
Overall, the experience had been pleasant. You get what you pay for. Every time I’ve had any issue come up, the staff has been very accommodating and ensure that things get fixed quick. Staff is very approachable and are always ensuring that people are having their needs met.
We love living here. for the past 6 months. Everyone has been very helpful and nice. I had a couple of small things to be fixed and they were taken care of quickly. The just added new carports, nice to see new things going on.
I lived in Houston for 2 years and I am glad that I chose Ivy Apartments as my place of residence. The location is prime as it is at a walk-able distance to University of Houston - Clear Lake and to big companies. If you looking for a place where you want safety and cleanliness and friendly staff its definitely a place to consider. And yes they provide free coffee too which is the best part!!
I can’t complain, from the minute I walked in the leasing office, I felt welcomed and at home! Thanks to Raquel, we love our home!
Apartment is good, but there is students are doing partys mostly in night times, laud talking, laghing making so much noise.peoples can not sleep well and taking rest peace fully.when complained againts those students at office, Managment also not taking action againts them.worst managment also
I moved here new to Houston and was very skeptical after reading the reviews. I had an emergency and was very nervous about my new move and didn’t know much about the area, at all. The office staff worked with me and Evelyn was the assistant manager at the time. She eased me through the process and even stayed late to ensure that any questions or concerns that I had were answered. She’s the office manager now with a great team and things have improved even more over time. Since moving in I feel I couldn’t have picked a better complex in this area. I looked at almost all of them going to 15 in one day! The residents are nice and I feel safe in this complex. Any complaint that I have is always taken care of on time and I feel comfortable with expressing my concerns with the office staff when they arise. It concerns me that that people only write reviews when they’re angry or after their lease is up. Why not write a review when things are going well during your stay? I guess everyone’s experience is different. I love it here. *shrugs*
The prices are outrageous. Management forgets who you are. Place smells bad outside and sometimes inside as well. But mostly overpaying for a dump. Luckily not tight on money or id be through the roof. Look elsewhere.
My experience while at the The Ivy complex was pleasant. The staff was always friendly and responsive to deal with and the grounds were well maintained providing a relaxing and inviting vibe to call home. Definitely a great value and I will continue to refer my friends and family moving forward.
I have lived here for about month. So far the living here been great. No problems. The poeple in the office are very awesome.
Excellent staff and maintenance. New stove was delivered as promised. Thank you Karen.
Worst management ever seen......... They dont know anything about leasing and any information. Everyday you will see new employees. Managers dont know anything.. They should trained the employee before give them job.
I’ve been living here for the past four years. At one point, the management was excellent but, unfortunately, I can’t say that anymore. I’m planning on moving out as soon as possible. The manager is terrible. Daughter comes to visit for two weeks twice a year and brings her emotional support dog. They told me to pay five hundred dollars or the they both need to leave tonight. She had only been here for a week at this point. I couldn’t believe it. The audacity of telling me my own daughter with her INCREDIBLY BELL BEHAVED DOG can not even visit me for a week?In response, the manager (and all the staff) were incredibly rude, ignorant, and belittling. I’ve never stayed in a place where the staff was this rude before. This isn’t even mentioning the bed bugs, AC constantly not working, and jacked up prices. I do not recommend anyone live here.Stephanie, the assistant manager, told me that my “daughter needs to leave today.” At this point, I’m thinking of getting a lawyer involved. I’ve also noticed that many people here are out of the country and are terrified of my daughter’s emotional support dog, but he is incredibly well trained and she hasn’t had an issue with him anywhere she goes. Only here.Whatever you do, do not live here. Any other nearby apartment complex would be better.
Most of the complaints arent very true since Ive lived there more than 4 years. First of, about the pest control, its not entirely their fault that they cant terminate the roaches completely if the tenants dont keep things clean; too much pest control chemical is also a hazard for tenants health. My apt did have roaches initially but after scheduled routines pest control and keeping things neat in the apt, roaches were reduced in number very significantly. Secondly, maintenance team did response to ALL of our order requested in a very timely manner. There was a time that I had to call them 3 times consecutively for 3 different matters and they showed up right away. Theyve changed management a few times as well as maintenance staffs; but none showed up to my apt looking heartless/slow/lack of courtesy; most of them were old, but they did their job and left. Next is the tenant community complaints; its not the offices fault that there are many Indian tenants; its the markets demand - the school is right around the corner, of course they picked the closest options to rent out (I dont support the fact that these students just stopped in the middle of the parking lot talking to each other, however). Security concerns: though there is no gate for this apt, they do have police patrolling at night, a few times per week. Flooding issue, its not just this apt, MANY places in Clear Lake City are flood-easy. Its not their fault you chose to live here; everybody got the option to choose where to park and to pick a 2nd floor instead. If you are on the 1st floor, you have the right to transfer to another room up-stair when it is available, just talk to the manager and pay the transferring fee.If you complained so much, pick yourself up and do some research to see where would be the next best location to move to that doesnt cost much more. Ive done my research and I couldnt find anything around the same price range; other ones also have pretty bad reviews about office not responding to work-order, flood, raising rent, roaches, dog poops...etc. Yet, they had 2 to 3 stars for the same complaints I see here. So I do not believe that this rating score reflecting correctly of what Ive seen all these years that Id lived here. Id say it should be at a 3. Since too many people with negative things to say put time on reviews while the satisfied ones didnt write anything, this rating is just skewed. To offset that, Id put down a 5 stars, just so it can bump the rating up closer to a 3 stars which is what I think it should be worth. I dont think its too much because my family members bothered the manager lady, Nicole, most of the time; yet she was still very patient and polite all the way till my last day there. My room was M2086.
Just moved here...office staff was welcoming and helpful..thank you Raquel Mayo for all your attentiveness..and making my move less hectic....love the upkeep of grounds..glad I chose this place to call home....
Decided to overlook the bad reviews, and give these apartments a chance. Its barely our second month here, and we already regret it. Our AC stopped working in one of the guest bedrooms halfway through our first month, last month. Here we are now, 3 weeks later, and after going to report the problem to the office SEVEN times, and on the 4th visit from a very rude, disrespectful maintenance guy, we get told there is nothing he can do because thats how the building is built and one part of the apartment will always cool more than the other. Its the beginning of summer and there is literally no air flowing in that bedroom. And I doubt all apartments are like that. The office staff could not care less, even the manager. Do not move here.
Worst management ever seen.
The first year we lived here was not bad- staff was friendly and we enjoyed the convenience of being close to the UHCL campus and other places. Right after we signed the lease for another year things started going down hill. We started experiencing water leaks in our bathroom ceiling that were NEVER fixed and so all types of fungi started growing, to the point that we had MUSHROOMS POP OUT OF THE CEILING in our bathroom and out from the wall behind our refrigerator. We had to show management pictures for them to finally take us seriously and even then, when maintenance came, all they did was pluck out the mushrooms from the ceiling, patch the hole, and paint over it. They did nothing about the mushrooms behind our fridge, letting spores disperse in the air near our food. We were too easy-going and just decided to carry out the lease and not renew, even though we probably should have asked to break the lease. Before we moved out, we found out that our neighbor next to us was also experiencing water leaks in their bathroom, but much worse, and the tenants above him had spots in the floor that sunk in if you happened to step there. Together we approached the manager to air our grievances and were NOT treated as a priority. We were told it was no big deal and that she had seen much worse. This was not how the situation should have been handled AT ALL. We went in on a Saturday morning and were told maintenance could not come out until Monday, even though later that day, we saw one of the maintenance men go into another apartment... When Monday finally came, our apartment was not worked on at all and whoever came in TOOK one of the mushrooms I had saved in a Ziploc bag and left on my counter, which to me, seemed like they were trying to hide the evidence (HA! NICE TRY, I have more). On the work order, the priority level was labeled Medium. When you have so many mushrooms growing in the wall, to the point where they start popping through paint, means theres more than a medium problem. And you know what? There was. My neighbor had THE WORST BLACK MOLD INFESTATION I have ever seen, even compared to pictures you find on Google. The tenant above him is a pregnant woman whos due in two weeks. Considering all of these things you would think management would be doing all they can to ensure the health and safety of its paying tenants, but everyone was told they could stay in the apartments, even with the ceiling cut open, then patchily taped up. Our neighbor came in to our apartment to check our bathroom and identified mold on our AIR VENT in the bathroom. I could not be happier that we moved out the very next day and since weve been sleeping at our new place, I have slept better and wake up with none of the symptoms I thought were due to allergies. All in all, this place has not seemed to care about our safety and I wouldnt advise anyone who wants to remain healthy to move here.
Horrible service. The manager just sits in her office with her husband and the staff is incompetent! Plus theyre always switching the front desk person so no one even knows what theyre doing. They are so rude its a joke. Dont even waste your time.
Numbering system is totally nonsensical, and if you ask the office for help theyre not only unwilling to give directions but theyre rude about it. Would give zero stars if possible.
Not the worst, but usually late at night there are some indian/middle eastern stoner folks who roam around giggling and laughing/ attempting to troll and what not.I find them hilarious. anyways could bother some other folks around here though. All in all not too bad, They could be a bit more considerate to those trying to sleep or relax after work.i sure hope theyre just stoners. and sometimes some pretty shady/suspicious activity in parking lots. as to be expected though.
I cant wait to move. Ive been here almost 3yrs and nothing is consistent the whole parking area around the apartments flood Ive had bed bugs when I first moved in and they made it seem like it was my fault, my neighbor upstairs just got them to, I can go on but no room
I would not suggest moving to these apartments. We have had vehicles damaged by our neighbor’s kids and the parents refused to take responsibility. They are also constantly playing in the parking lot and refuse to move when we are trying to get in and out of our parking space. Their kids are constantly throwing trash on the ground and destroying property.I would also like to add that today my husband was walking down the stairs and the 2nd step from the top collapsed causing him to hurt his knee. We immediately called the office and yet there was no concern that my husband actually got hurt or the fact the he is now sitting in the Er!
There is already parking problem for those who coming late from work... And now they started putting the reserved signs on all good parking under shed. some of them are actually reserved but most of the parking spots no one reserved it but they still put sign over it. this is all to make some extra money & giving inconvenience to existing residents.
Bunch of rude Indians that keep talking loudly on their phone in the middle of the night walking around the apartment, doesnt respect anyone else that is trying to sleep. The parking lot doesnt have enough parking spaces and the stupid apartment want to charge extra just for a reserve spot. I live here 4 years and at first everything was for free anywhere you want to park. The apartment started getting greedy and they created the problem for not enough parking spots by painting reserved spots. Now they want to charge each car at least $10 a month for parking. Cant seem to stop being greedy. Its terrible stay away from this place, so glad Im moving out.
Only lived there for a short time,(thankfully it wasn’t longer). My whole Experiance wasn’t great, thus why I don’t do apparments usually. Always had bugs in the unit and had to usually do my own pest control.(even though they charge you for pest control I’m pretty sure they don’t have any form of that). Water always came out brown for the 1st few minuets. Office manager wasn’t very good at communicating. I got more help from the lady at the front desk who was also much nicer.. 5 months after I moved out I receive a move out notice, which I had questions About some of the charges which I never got a response from anyone on. Unless you’re a student at U of H down the street.. I’d look elsewhere.
The review from Awesome Squad from 2 years ago is spot on, especially in the case of the rent. I was here for 4 years and by the time I left, I was paying about $350 more a month than I was originally. If the rent had stayed close to what I had been paying originally, it wouldnt have been so bad.Everyones complaints about the roaches is also spot on, but my main gripe comes from putting in maintenance requests. Its like no preventative maintenance is done at all. My first couple weeks living there, I was using the bathtub to soak and I got a call the next day asking if I had used the tub. Weird question, but when I said yes they informed me that the drain leaks into the floor below me and to not use the tub until they fix it. Shouldnt that have been done before I moved in?The apartment is not insulated well at all. If its 96 degrees out, its about the same in your apartment. That means think about getting a fan for the summer and a space heater for the winter. My AC has gone out several times, but the worst was when my heater was out this past winter. My thermometer read 36 degrees. Space heaters were sold out everywhere and I had to sleep on my couch with a fire going to avoid freezing. It took weeks to get it fixed. At one point, a hole was busted open behind my toilet so they could work on the pipes again in the unit below me. The hole was covered with cardboard and stapled to my wall. After weeks of requesting the hole be properly patched, it was...while I was gone for the weekend and the person who did it left caulk all over my bathroom counters, sink and in the drain of my bathtub. That wasnt the first time someone came in to work on things without notice and whenever it happened, there was always a mess left behind.Water shuts off pretty often for some reason or another. Usually its off for a few hours. And during real bad storms, water will seep into your walls and ceilings. Theyve since gotten the roofs redone to rectify this.Overall, my experience was meh (3 stars), but marked with some real lows (-1 star). I would recommend renting here only if youre getting a good deal. Paying $900+ a month for a one bedroom, you should get a lot more amenities and better service and less headaches.
This is the WORST Apt complex i have ever experience in my LIFE they have a roach infestation, dog poop ALWAYS on the grass, rats/mice, flooding on walk ways and parking lot when rain, and a serious raccoon infestation. The front desk workers change all the time and never knows anything but where you can put your rent money. The maintenance will paint over your tub and mold and not to mention love only coming when your not home!!??.Your water bill will be whatever the whole building uses, not just you so get luck trying to balance bills..Evelyn the manger is just showing up to work just to get a paycheck, she has no concern on helping the tenants with there problems in the units. I lived here for a year n half and seen about 3 different apt managers. The Tipton Management Group are crooks. BEWARE I GAVE U FAIR WARNING!!!!!!!!!
We had reported an issue with garbage disposal last week which is expected to be on top priority to be resolved. Been 7 days and still unresolved.
New management is quite ok when Linda was working but now this new Manager Evelyn is worst. She is mannerless and dont know how to talk, very rude. All she know is how to rip off residents. No timely maintenance. Its always muddy & trash everywhere until heavy rain cleans it out. No working lights....PLANNING TO MOVE? MUST VISIT IN NIGHT TIME & RAINY DAYS... gurantee you will never think of this apartment again.
Before we moved here we were very excited about the office staff they seemed so friendly and helpful. The first day we moved in we found roaches in our cupboards before we even brought our stuff in. We talked to the staff and they provided someone to do an extensive spray. The bug people said for this to be totally taken care of we would have to do this extensice spray weekly for awhile. We talked with the staff and they told us that the bug people never told them that and they do not recommend that whatsoever. We were put on a list to have them come do a small treatment weekly and then we were some how taken off that list. When we brought it back up to them they said that it is not recommended to do it weekly anymore. The roach problem is soooo bad!!! We have talked to other residents and they said they have the same issues and I know I have a large family so it is not always clean but their houses are immaculate all the time and they have a horrible problem as well. Since we moved in we have found that the office staff loves to say whatever you want to hear to get you in here and will always talk to you with a smile but they hardly ever keep their word. We are about to go above their heads and try to figure out this bug problem. I do not like living in a roach infested house it is so gross. I am happy to say that the maintenance staff is amazing though. Very friendly even when we are walking outside they stop and say hi and chat. Those guys are great.
This is not only a great place to live but we really do take pride in taking care of all of our residents. My staff & I strive to provide superior customer service each day.
One of the best apartments in clearlake
I am a current resident of building e and have been here for couple years now. yes, apartments might not be brand new but I am happy with the office- especially maintenance for always being so helpful.
I am living here from one and half year I would be really happy they work far better than other apartmentsI dont understand why ppl gonna say that they have roaches problem. If u ppl keep the apartment clean why would the roaches show up u ppl left things unclean and blame them...I would surely recommended them its near by to college and lot better than other apartments..
We was out 4 days without electricity bcoz appartment wiring got issue they fix problem afer 4 days. ac broke down all the time. for bad bug we have to pack four time and leave app for hours and hours. my son got breathing problems but they dont care when we was without electricity. dont move that appartment at all.
Rats nest village is filled with roaches, bed bugs, and overwhelming amount of Indians who stop there cars in the middle of the parking lot, throw on their hazard lights and wait for a gang of them to come pile in. There must be 10 to an apartment at minimum here. Dont believe me, take a drive through and tell me you dont see at least 2 cars through out the apartments blocking half the road. Believe me it gets annoying fast. And the foreigners are the worst drivers on the face of the planet. Almost every apartment has bed bugs (which im pretty sure the foreigners are soley responsible for this) and every single apartment has roaches(probably because were close to the woods) . And Im talking about those small ones you cant get rid of(they come in waves). This is the absolute worst apartments Ive ever seen for roaches. all at an over priced rate(also rent will continue to go up every single time you sign a new lease around 100$). Maintenance and office staff are actually great though but its like brushing your teeth while eat oreos for them Im sure. And center of parking lots on sides flood badly and 2 big parking lots will get about a foot and a half deep. People let animals run wild and children. Its a good place for someone who doesnt mind alarming amounts of roaches, gambling with bed bugs, bad foreign drivers and for a upscale price. Set rent about 400$ dollars cheaper and this place would be golden. Good luck and pray for vigilance if you move here.
This is the worst management Ive ever seen. Fraud
Apartments are good and not far from university but More cockroaches...
This is the worse apts I have ever seen. Very inefficient management.
Very rude management. You guys need to change the manager .
Reasonable price.
This apartment gets flooded every time even if its not a heavy rain stay away.
Horrible management and very dirty environment..i hope there’s a zero star.
Tried getting information about apartments, but they have an automated phone system like a telemarketer would have. Kept trying to talk to someone, but the option to talk about leasing an apartment never worked. When called the resident line, I was told they dont have information and I would have to leave a message for a leasing agent. Also, they have 2 different 855 numbers which is confusing.
I moved out of this place last June and uh...give me back my deposit damnit -.-
Ivy apartments are such worst apartments that even during the time of hurricanes where the roads are flooded with water, They force the customers who are ended up with their lease to vacate their houses . The staff at leasing office dont care about the situation of their residents . the only thing they want is new residents to come in for the sake of money .
If you want to live with roaches especially in the kitchen, you can choose the Ivy...It is terrible, they tried to solve this problem but I wish we didint need these treatments..Now Ive got two problems..Roaches and bad odor because of treatments...
Arrogant staff!
Absolutely the worst apartment complex around, unprofessional staff, unreliable, never answers the phones, flooded CONSTANTLY I was left for 3 weeks without a working kitchen sink because they kept telling me maintenance was going to come and they never did. I was supposed to have both a washer and dryer when I moved in and was completely missing a washing machine, their solution was to drop off a washing machine while I was at work, IT WAS LEFT UNINSTALLED IN MY LIVING ROOM IN THE BOX!!!! they knew I was a 21 year old woman living alone and they couldn’t even properly fix their own mistakes, this place was a nightmare right up until the day I moved out. (not to mention the roach infestation) so yourself a favor and find anything else. you couldn’t pay me enough to live here again
