Not my first time to buy a boat. But they treated me like a first time boat buyer. Answering all my questions and working with me on details . Personnel and sales staff were on the top shelf. Going over to pick my boat up and make sure its everything I wanted. After being around the Oklahoma City boat show so many years, and knowing so many boat dealers. These guys know what theyre doing. Highly recommend there for either a first time boat buyers. Or a lifetime both buyer.
Rented a pontoon boat while on our family vacation. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It was not cheap but it was the best rate I found in town. They had everything ready for us and were nice in answering our questions. My daughter said it was the best thing about the whole trip.
We arrived at Lake Hamilton in Hot Springs Arkansas with our boat, looking forward to a week of fun on the lake. Late on Saturday afternoon we went to launch and discovered our trim wasnt working. We drove over to Gregg Orr Marine to look for parts that we thought might fix the issue. This marinas mechanic jumped in the boat 5 minutes before their closing time, diagnosed the issue and fixed it right in the parking lot without missing a beat and saving our entire vacation.Thanks guys!! This is what customer service ought to look like.
Our rental experience was great. The price was lower than other places, the rental included an anchor and side bumpers, and the service was excellent. The boat was clean and everything worked. Jordan was especially helpful. A lot of the negative reviews I saw were related to being charged for damages. Listen to what they say during the check in and you will avoid common problems, especially shallow water, that could cause damage to the boat. Carefully go over the boat condition, especially the prop, and take pictures if necessary before signing off. They are very thorough during the inspection.
We have now bought 2 boats from them. There service is awesome and they definitely go out of their way to help their customers. Ask for Rob when you go!
The boat was nice and the people were friendly!! HOWEVER, they gave us a map of where to go, not to go, etc, ok great, thank you... We did JUST that. Twice we hit low spots/sand bars and it made the boat stall. It cranked right back up, everything was fine. These low spots were smack dab in the middle of the lake and NOT mapped. We went about our day. We went to turn the boat in and were charged for damage to the propeller. We did everything we were suppose to. Very frustrating and almost makes me not want to come back for that! Just scared it may happen again and have to pay again.
The process of getting financing and insurance was fairly painless. Everyone was very nice and pleasant to deal with. Only issue I had was we were told when we came back to get the boat, it would be cleaned up, gased up, and charged up and ready to go. When we got there, none of that had been done. They didn’t have it under cover so it was pretty dirty. Salesman had just started cleaning it when we got there. We had to bring it home and charge it up and fill it up ourselves. We couldn’t have started the break in process if we wanted to. And one of the decals was peeling off and they didn’t even offer to try to fix it. They told us to file a warranty claim. After sales service is not looking good so far.

Max, Jordan and the rest of the staff were fantastic. The experience was perfect. All tge negative reviews sent us in skeptical, but it turns out the negative reviews were from rude people that choose anger. I would suggest Gregg Orr marine to anyone that wants to boat on Lake Hamilton.
Before picking the boat up the guys were very attentive and oh yea we can do this and that. Well the day it’s comes for them to deliver the boat to my house (for 220$ I didn’t think that was a bad price from hot springs to east Texas) I get a phone call saying that it’d be in Texarkana at that dealership that afternoon. So I told them I was not paying for a dealer transfer. Well we got all that figured out and drove to Texarkana to pick the boat up, when I got there and seen the boat package, I realized that they charged me 4 grand for a 1500$ trailer at best. They were supposed to put rooster tail lights on the boat and it didn’t have any on it. They gave me a very used Jack on my trailer, and when we went to pull off my buddy pointed out that I only had one transom strap. Needless to say I was not impressed. I called my salesman and told him about the rooster tail lights and he said ok I can order you one, but there going to need a debit or credit card number. I was shook. I said well I guess you better give them yours. He was all ok I’ll take care of it. That was a month ago and I have still yet to receive anything in the mail and he won’t answer my calls or text.

Beware of shady tactics- also got charged for “damage to prop” even though we didn’t hit anything. The depth finder never worked, beware before you rent a boat.
We purchased a new RV with trade in. All those we came in contact with, starting with our salesman, Mike Robins, were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. You’ll always get more with Orr!
Rented a pontoon for 8 hours on Lake Hamilton and had a fantastic time. Customer service was great and unlike one of the other rental outfits in the area, we were actually able to get a hold of them when we needed something. Will definitely use Orr again next time we stay on Lake Hamilton.

Not only did they give us a great deal on a new boat, but they paid premium price for our trade in. Of all the marinas in Hot Springs, Gregg Orr stands out above the crowd. Excellent customer service from the sales and management team down to the dock attendants. When we want our boat, all we have to do us call and let them know we are coming. When we get there the boat is pulled around to the gas dock, filled up and ready to go. Also get a discount on gas with our slip. At the end of the day we just pull up and unload, they clean up the boat, put it up and cover it. Love this place!
We have rented from Gregg Orr several times over the past month. We have had a stellar experience each time. Everyone working there is friendly and knowledgeable. They are polite and they do everything to ensure a fantastic experience for everyone. Their location, buildings, and boats are immaculate!
We couldve went with a cheaper boat rental, but you get what you pay for! Great Time 👍Just stay out of the shallows. Their props are cheap AF and bend easy. Other than that, will do business again!
Second boat we have bought from Gregg Orr Marine, and we were not disappointed. We had more help, all questions answered fully, demo on the lake with two different boats, and the sales team are great.
Nice facility, very helpful and competent staff. Higher ups put in place policies that give the people working with you no authority to mediate issues. Had some issues with a rental boat and the nice people working had no avenue to make it right. The rental boats are new and look nice but are very cheaply made and have numerous issues, despite low hours. If the boats they sell are the same make as those they rent then I would be cautious making a purchase.

I rented a boat for my family on the 5th of July. All of the other rental places were fully booked, but Gregg Orr came through. They got us a great boat for a great price! The service was excellent, especially from Brodie and Colton. They were very kind and answered all our questions with a smile. The rental process was easy and smooth. Rented a boat. Was a little beat up and the radio did not work but they said they had not gotten any new ones since Covid. Still fun and the price was not too bad.

Will not be doing business again with Gregg Orr Marine. Their lack of communication and customer service is the worst Ive seen from any business.Purchased a used boat a couple months ago. Planned on trading in our boat and placed a down payment on purchase. Gregg Orr Marine did not offer any assistance to pick our boat up (which was kept at a dock at a central Arkansas lake). Made me a low ball offer on the trade after only looking at pictures. Had to purchase a trailer to bring it to Gregg Orr Marine. (Was advised they could not re-sale the boat without a trailer.)After speaking in detail with the salesman about the requirements of the trailer and delivery, I went to load my boat and bring it back. Keep in mind the salesman was calling me daily wondering when I was going to bring my trade. Literally 20 mins after leaving the lake with my trade, I get a call from the salesman telling me to make sure the trailer had a title. This was not discussed previously. He tried to argue it was required by law, which is incorrect. He apologized later and told me it was Gregg Orr Marine policy, not the law. However, this did not matter as I had already purchased the trailer. I ended up just selling the privately which was to my benefit because I got significantly more than what Gregg Orr Marine offered.Despite my frustration, I wanted to continue the purchase of the used boat. When I arrived to the dealership, I was rushed immediately to financing without my salesman hardly even speaking to me. So there I was about to sign papers without agreeing to any other terms of the sale. I asked for a sales manager as I was pretty displeased with my interactions with my salesman at this point. I expressed my frustration to which he told me they could easily sell the boat to someone else and didnt need my business. This is where I should have walked out, I admit, but I honestly was tired of shopping for a boat and just wanted be done with it, or so I thought.I spoke to my salesman to arrange for delivery. I told him I needed to get with the marina and made sure they had another slip secured. This took no more than a few days and I called my salesman to arrange delivery. He said it would be approximately one week. This was the response I got week after week for approximately three weeks. Mind you, I was the one who had to call him, not the other way around. When he FINALLY called me to say it was going to be delivered, he informed me the snap on cover that was included with the boat had come off and tore while it was in storage and would need to be replaced. He said he would order a replacement. I told him to deliver the boat without the cover and let me know when the cover came in.I called weekly for the next three weeks getting the runaround on the cover. Eventually, my salesman just quit returning my calls and texts. I asked my wife to intervene hoping she would have better luck reconciling the problem. She called and spoke to a manager who said he would investigate the problem and call her back the next day. To no surprise, he never called back so she called a second time and spoke to another manager. This manager informed her he was aware of the situation and unfortunately we were misinformed as the boat cover is custom fit and would have to be measured and made specifically for the boat. He suggested they would have to take the boat out of the water and arrange to get a cover made. He would let us know within a week.To no surprise, another week has come and gone. More unanswered messages have been left. Its unfortunate the cover was ripped while waiting to be delivered, but I would guess maybe it wasnt secured properly in the first place and had the salesman delivered when I originally requested, then maybe this could have been avoided. Nonetheless, after weeks of attempting to reconcile this through several representatives at Gregg Orr Marine, they appear to have no intention of making this right. Maybe if you purchase a new Supra or Crownline you will get better service.

Very poor boating experience with Gregg Orr. They re-use props on boats, causing you to lose your $200 deposit. Just scamming individuals. The “manager” of rentals even admitted they send damaged props to service to fix them and reuse, making them brittle and easily breakable. It’s insane the scamming that just occurred. I definitely will never return to this marine and advise everyone to steer clear or demand a boat with a prop that is not damaged as our boat prop was damaged when we rented the boat. Costing us $200 for a $100 prop.

I live in Texarkana and bought my boat at the Hot Springs boat show in February. I noticed that the boat I was buying had a Honda outboard on it. After looking at several boats before purchasing this one, I knew Gregg Orr Marine in Texarkana did not carry Honda outboards. I asked the GM of the Hot Springs store, who was at the boat show about service on the motor. She assured me that any Gregg Orr marine will work on it since I was buying it from them.I had a bad breaker in the instrument panel and carried it to Gregg Orr Marine in Texarkana to have it replaced. Also, the oil pressure light came on for the motor, so I was going to have that checked as well.After having to order the breaker I went to pick up my boat. They told me that they were unable to check the motor because they don’t work on Honda outboards. After having a long discussion with them about what I was told, if I have a motor issue I have to drive to Hot Springs to have it checked. If I had known that I would have not bought the boat. The staff needs to be on the same page. Assuring me that another store works on this motor, when the apparently don’t.When I got home and looked at the dash where the breaker was replaced, all of the original breakers are black, they put a white breaker in. I have all black breakers on the dash where everyone can see exact for this one white one. As the technician, I would have noticed that and made everything look professional.This is the second new boat I’ve purchased from Gregg Orr in the past two years. I’m disappointed!!!

Anyone looking for a boat at Gregg Orr Marine could not do any better than to look for Catherine Crigger to be your salesperson. She knows the inventory and is very knowledgeable about the boats. She was able to answer all my questions and show us the boats that fit our requirements. She demoed the boats for us so we could get a hands own feeling for what we were buying prior to the purchase. This greatly helped with our buying experience. We bought a Harris Sunliner and have been very happy with our purchase. First class service. All the employees are always very helpful and willing to do anything i need. The vip program is great. They take my boat off the lift, gas it up and pull it around to the gas dock. When were done, theyll wipe it down and return the boat to the lift. I always tip these guys well because they earn it. The pro shop has everything you could ever need for boating and much more. Ive used them for about 7 years and recently bought a boat from them. They went above and beyond to make this easy.Thank you!

I recently bought a boat from Orr Marina. The staff were excellent but my saleswoman, Catherine Crigger, was incredible. Not only did she make sure that I got top dollar for my trade in, she made sure that I stayed within my payment range. She even answered questions I had about the boat several weeks after I purchased it. I highly recommend Orr and to use Catherine as your saleswoman.
July 11, 2016 Our family rented a Pontoon boat (ski barge) and tube from Gregg Orr and had an amazing time on the lake. The people were super friendly and ready to help, we really enjoyed them! Anytime we pulled up to the docks they always cane out and helped us park the boat. The boat was really nice and super clean and the tube was in great condition. It was well worth the money! The fuel was a bit overpriced at $4/gallon but we only used 1/4 tank in 5 hours of tubing so it wasnt too bad. If we ever come back to Hot Springs we will do this again without regret!!

The boat rental DOES NOT PROVIDE AN ANCHOR with boat rental. They DO NOT tell you this when renting because they do not encourage it. Which for us was more dangerous due to the winds today and having to depend on our ability to keep the boat away from sand bars. When asked why they dont I got a few nonexplainational answers (over a phone call and then back at the dock). Other than that it was great. But not adding an anchor and not informing the customer is not cool.
We had a great experience in our search for a toon. Hamilton answered our questions and worked very hard to meet our expectations. We felt a friendship was built and a trust. Will recommend to others.

This is Johnny Vandegrift again with boat problems we’ll the door got here early just wrong color so back to square one so I’m sure it’ll be longer now plus I’m was getting a section of fence because of a crease in it and 8 screws stripped in a cushion above battery getting looser every time you open it had this supposedly new boat what 6 or so weeks 1 1/2 trip 23 days at yalls place and still don’t have a new boat like I paid 37 grand for - I need a door fence and cushion and all would be well but guy at smokers acts like he’s not on a timetable he’d rather try to get dent out with some singles debt puller and that’s not going to fix the lose hinges and the scratches from rubbing other side .from what I was told if it’s under warranty there’s a reasonable time frame to have this fixed if under warranty but I just would like those 3 parts in here and I’ll be out of the way not the way I wanted to get a boat but m just ready to get this nightmare over 3 parts - fence section, new door, and a cushion that’s over battery - the bank gave you the money I just want my part a undamaged boat - fair enough right?

Rented 12 person pontoon for full day & was very impressed with the boat quality, condition, power, & maneuverabilty as needed to enjoy the beauty of Lake Hamilton! The sales personnel were very responsive & helpful, especially when explaining tricky places to take boat on lake.The only negative experience is we had to ask for tow & tie lines (which, once received, were too small & too short) & the young man who actually walked us to the boat, who must have been new, did not know much about the location of some important items on the boat, said he assumed there were 12 life jackets & gave little operation instruction. Suggestion to the excellent sales staff... make sure person showing boat to customers is trained to go through the list of safety items onboard & gives detailed info on operation of equipment.That being said... would rent a boat here again no doubt!!

Gregg Orr Marine has cared for our boat for years. Service and sales are excellent. Big shout out to Lori and Chris for always exceeding our expectations.
First I do not recommend Gregg Orr and here is why. If i could give no stars I would... I dropped the boat off with specific instruction on how to recreate the issue. And what I had already done to attempt to fix the issue. The call 2 weeks later saying it’s ready and all they did was replace the impeller which I told them I had already done. Upon arrival they told me to go uncover the boat to water test it. The cover is now ripped clear across the back and on the ground. Yes this cover is 7 years old and has a few small holes but it’s used all summer and in the weather daily as the boat lives on a lift.... the boat issue was recreated and nobody tagged along to see the issue... they then proceed to say the cover looks like it’s 25 years old and to look on the internet to see what I can find on the issue with the boat.... this is coming from their service manager Charles... They assured me the cover would be fixed . Walk outside to turn the power off to the boat and notice the front is scratched.. walk back inside and speak with them over this and leave assured it would be fixed... my gut feeling is to go back get the boat and take to to Buxton The largest Nautique dealer. I contacted their GM at Orr thinking this person would be who to talk to... They ended up taking care of a bill of $899 for the 200 hit service. That’s fair but I’m still here with a ripped cover and scratched boat that occurred under their care... They assured me both would be taken care of. I leave and 2 weeks later still no word of my cover being repaired after several left messages with a return number. Also they have my info on a service ticket. Call corporate same song and dance nobody will return a call. Finally get ahold of Hot springs GM and she said we are not replacing the cover and it couldn’t be fixed. She offered a gift card due to the issue but at this point I’m done with Orr why would I go back? The cover was $1800 to replace and not a dime from Orr. Places like this have insurance for this very thing “ Garage Keeper Liability”. They said the wind ripped it. Long story short don’t let these crooks fool you and they don’t listen to you. When corporate won’t step up that should tell you they do not care about customer service. Same post on their Facebook account with photos.

Well I’m 60 with a 16 year old daughter and she wanted a dependable NEW boat so we stop her I buy one and what should have been a fun time in our life getting a boat together turned into probably the worst experience of my life the 3 out of 4 weeks in the shop had a dent in door and hinges loose causing it to lean enough to rub other rail- fixed hinges brought it to me and said it would be Memorial Day when door comes in then my son comes to look at it try to go out door and it’s back over so going back to shop and I’ve made a payment .as soon as it’s yours 1-2 days you have to get in line to have fixed so save yourself the trouble stay away sales manager is a jerk don’t be fooled and sale staff to they’ll sell it to you but won’t stabd behind it - pitiful - I went to get a new boat that’s all I wanted not one that’s been in shop almost a moth and had issues it got to the point I just said this ain’t right asked about another boat a new one and sales manager told me that boat is used and depreciated he’d need a lot of money down - well if its used anything you’ve test drove is used it didn’t go out long and there’s more issues driver side another dent not big but this was a new boat I was told - hinges on back where battery goes is loose - stripped screw in places - no door stop back door - I mean it’s a new boat half the time it’s been in shop -and I like the boat just expected a new boat for 37,000 I’ve got a 87 Bayliner if I feel like working on something it’s just not right if I was a company I’d make it right somehow .exceding expectations would be giving the customer something he pays for a new boat that hasn’t had issues from day one- and the kicker is when I get it back I have to take out the seats and clean pollen that was on it mixed with rain after having to drive it up another time if everybody is like me cleaning a barge and driving 45 min is a day wasted that shouldn’t have been.should have been on a boat driving around the lake happy with a new boat it comes back to New is New I would expect a summer at least before any warranty work would be needed on a new boat .to exceed my expectations would be to sell a boat with no problems or if they aren’t happy because of problems sell them what they paid for again a NEW boat .i would think it’s covered by warranty it was what 2 days old gosh I guess I’m old fashioned I expect to get what you pay for I didn’t try to get the bank to pay you most of your money you got it all I’ve laid tile for 30 years hard job I’m not rich I can’t afford to do this again that’s why I wanted to go new but I was wrong I just don’t want this to happen to anyone it’s been bad for me my daughter because all she wanted was the last 2 years of high school to spend summers together at the lake now she’s coming to me telling me she’s sorry for getting me into this mess but like I told her you can’t trust that all people will make things right good example she learned .all covered by warranty you make that sound good after supposedly a new boat in the water 2 hrs 2 days old I would hope warranty would cover it geezWell owner I got in the door and yes it was early but I guess your sales team and others didn’t stress the color enough because it was the wrong color so now I’m waiting several more weeks you think you could help with that because I’m kinda running low on patience because y’all got the money Cathrine got her commission and I got nothing I just gave out money I stillY’all got my 37,000.00 I only want a new boat no dings -stripped screws back and forth to the shop - bout early so I’d have it broke in and use to it before summer looks like that’s out the windowwant the new boat I paid for long ago

Probably the highest hourly service but excellent service. They can put your boat in the water and run diagnostics on your motor this is why I take my boat there.

WINNER for the WORST EXPERIENCE ever!!! I could go on and on with the details; however, my advise would be a unanimous caution of, GO ELSEWHERE! I challenge the Customer Review and Customer Satisfactiom Department to investigate this one!!
