Im new to this, and have never had to use oil heat before. This company has not been helpful at all. My first winter in Virginia and dealing with this company has been awful. They have messed up a few times, but this last one was a bit much. I ordered 150 gallons, they took their time getting the oil to my house. Then their delivery guy tore up part of my yard driving in my grass, (plenty of room on the driveway). Then he accidentally pumped 400 gallons into my tank. I have called several times and told them to take back the access, and its been more than a month, and they still have not taken out the access oil. In the mean time they still keep sending me a bill. Ill keep call.
Ive been with the company for twenty two years now and the service has dropped a lot.My wife called them six day ago and no one has come to fill my tank yet. The lady on the phone stated that someone would be there the next day(no show) she called two days later and was told the same thing, all she wanted to know is how much gas is in the tank. we down to about five gal. was thinking serious about changingcompanies.
I have been calling Parker Oil since Saturday during the ice storm. The emergency number kept saying circuits unavailable. When I finally got someone on the phone on Monday they told me they would be here Wednesday to fill my tank. I explain to them that my carbon monoxide had went off and the electrician told me when the tank gets that low it will throw off vapors. The electrician would not start the generator because he said the tank needs to be filled. I have not seen anyone out to check my tank for years even though I am on automatic. I finally saw someone in Novemeber and he said he was going to check. I went outside to say something to him and he was gone. Makes it hard to believe that he even check the tank or just did not want to fill it so he mark my paperwork not needing it. The electrician told me my tank should not have bee down to 20 for running one day. I am very disappointment and unset at this point because we are due to have another ice storm and I have no gas in my tank. Making this known publicly, because the generator will cut on automatically if the lights go out then I well have carbon monoxide, and if someone dies from it, it will be on record.
Wow. Feb 24th and they dont even answer the phone. Ive been with them for over 30 years. So sad. Ill give it a couple more days and try again. Always top notch service in the past. I hope everyone there is doing OK.
Been with this company for 17 yrs and all of a sudden they want to charge a tank rental. I’ve heard of several people say they have not been happy with Parker oil in the last few years and now I’m one that’s not happy with them. Worst customer service I have ever dealt with the lady even hung up the phone on me when I told her I wanted her to come get the tank. I would rate them as no stars but it won’t let me go that low.
Talk about response. I called them on Wednesday and my tank was down to 5 lbs. Guy said he would be out before the end of the week. Came on Thursday and filled my tank. I live out pretty far so I was surprised for the quick response. Thank you Parker Oil for keeping me warm. Sorry about letting it get so low. Really appreciate the guy who makes my delivery. Thanks again.
I’ve been a customer for years. The deliveries have changed, you used to be able to get a delivery the next day now it 3 - 5 days. The lady who used to answer the phones was kind and willing to work with you. I don’t know who’s answering the phones now but I live pay check to pay check, work 40+ hours a week with 3 children, 10 and under. I put in 150 gallons last delivery and we’re currently at 5%, but I can’t afford to put the minimum in until 2 weeks from now when I get paid again. I called to try and set something up and apparently it’s not worth it to them to deliver 60 gallons so that my family and myself won’t freeze until I can afford to do more in 2 weeks.Merry Christmas 🎄🎁
I have been reading the comments regarding Parker Oil Company deliveries and agree the lead time communicated to a Will Call customer is extensive. A customer, either new or long term; will-call or automatic, should not have to wait 3-5 days for an oil delivery especially if there is a weekend within that time frame. I would hope my delivery will be completed by Friday otherwise we will be shivering for sure.
Weve been without hot water for days, and estimated time wait is not until next monday or Tuesday. Its snowing and cold and we have no way of cooking or taking hot showers. Dont bother wasting your time ordering from them, they are incompetent and take absolutely forever to come fill your tank.
Been trying to get propane for 2 weeks..... TWO WEEKS!!! I dont care how backed up your are for all your reasons under the sun..... 2 WEEKS.... dont trust them with your families heat, theyll burn you
As an employer they suck.....they dont look out for theyre employees and the pay for someone in the fuel business for several years is degrading and the manager doesnt stand up for his employees
An easy route, Thanks
