Very good service - friendly / thorough. Not the cheapest but you pay the convenience

I came in for an oil change and an inspection. The female employee told me that they are not doing inspections for the day and if I come tomorrow they can do it plus I will get 15% off on my oil change. I came back the other day and another employee told me that the information given to me was not correct and the wait for an inspection was over an hour. I always go to Valvoline and this was my first bad experience with them. I will not be returning to this location. Not easy or convenient

This place was absolutely amazing. ALL the employees were friendly and courteous. I will definitely be going back there in the future.I have never met a better bunch of people in one company.Very pleased.

I showed up at 430 for an inspection. When I arrived there were no other customers and the employees were out back hanging out talking/smoking. When I pulled to the inspection bay one of them came over to tell me that they weren’t doing any more inspections for the day because they had too much cleaning to do and said an inspection would take too long. The store closes at 6. Here’s a tip valvoline: if you can’t do the work because you have other priorities then probably adjust your hours. I’ve gotten an inspection there for several years and it never takes longer than 20 minutes. I understand if you have an actual cut-off time like 5 but come on, an 1.5 hours before close and your guys are just standing around? It was very apparent that they just didn’t want to work.I called the valvoline number to ask about other stores in the area and they told me if I could get across town by 5 I could still be inspected for a 6:00 closing time by another store. Unfortunately there was no way I could have made it. I’m glad the Hooksett guys had more time to hang out though and vape out back. Really bad look valvoline and you lost my future business.

These guys work fast. That means a short wait to get in and get out. But still with personal service.

The technician didnt put oil in my car, and almost sent me off, then I said Im not going anywhere till you add oil back in my car.The technician did give me a discount for issue.

Great bunch of folks here. Got a sticker last minute was in and out in 20 minutes.

My last time visiting any Valvoline. They always try to upsell you, which is okay, you would think that you could say no and that would be fine. This time I had an inspection and the tech, wanted to rotate my tires. I told him no, just the inspection. He forgot I said no and did it anyway. Now I need a high speed wheel balance, which would be $200. Do you think they will pay for that no. At a different store, they put in a more expensive oil even though for the past 10 years I used a different brand. Again they forgot. Im convinced the problem is with the whole company, not just bad franchises.

Absolutely amazing service in a quick time frame. Got my oil changed and tires rotated in under 30 minutes. Reasonably priced in my opinion and will be returning for future service

The guy helping me was very sweet. He spoke with me while the technician was changing the oil.

I went to the Hooksett location to use a Groupon offer. Someone greeted me at my car. All technicians were wearing masks, informed me of all aspects of the 15 min oil change, showed me on computer screen.All in all I was extremely satisfied, and will return.

The employees are very nice and social, and know what theyre doing! Arent over expensive at all and they all wear masks, and some gloves, at all times. They also get the job done as fast as they can.

Went there to get a oil change at 4pm says online they are open until 5 but nope sorry Sir but we are all closed up ! Also had my transmission oil change and the young gentleman who struggled for 45mins to get plug out never tighten it so therefore I had a very slow drip therefore I had to have a new clutch installed now I understand that it is two different entitys but it was a major coincidence! Didnt even get a oil change for my inconvenience. Thanks valvoline

Helped run a local car dealer . And have not had a car serviced anywhere accept the dealership in the last 15 years. The people at this service facility especially molly where energetic polite and very professional.

Went for a state inspection. I was in and out of there in about 40 minutes. Waited in the waiting room. Everyone there was very friendly and polite.

There may have been a misunderstanding on my part about what the lube and oil check service entailed, but boy does my car sure run alot better now.

Pretty disappointed stopped by today at about 4PM looking to get a inspection. Waited in my car for a while before anyone came out and when they did despite a big sign saying no appointment needed was told they wouldn’t be able to do it today. Granted if I rolled in 30 minutes before close I understand but at 4 in the afternoon not being able to do a simple inspection because there’s not enough staff is pretty disappointing and a really bad way to do business.

This the second time in for oil change on my NISSAN. Brandon scanned my VIN and had all my information. Thanked me for coming back and noticed I had a coupon on my phone for a $24.99 oil change. That is exactly what I was charged. Kevin also checked my fluids and filled my tires (they were low), so that’s something I really appreciated. Brandon took the time to converse with me about the company and his goals working there. Such a nice young man who is an asset to the company. Such a pleasure to witness well trained employees who make you feel like you’re driving a Bentley! Thanks for making a chore for me a pleasant experience. A++

I usually don’t write reviews for places but I will make an exception. I’ve been here for an oil change 3 times now and I am always impressed by the staff and managers. They always answer any questions I have open and honestly and give me the best price. I don’t plan on taking my car anywhere else. Plus, I love the fact that I can sit in my car while everything is being done. Super convenient as well. Would recommend 10/10.

I actually called ahead before swinging by to get and oil change and tire rotation. I get there 10 minutes later and one of the techs comes out and says “oil change” I told him that I just called and needed and oil change and a tire rotation. He says that there is an hour wait. I again said I wasn’t told that when I called. I was told that there was already a truck ahead of me and that another truck pulled in ahead of me. No thanks I’ll go somewhere else!

A little pricey for an oil change. However, the service is fantastic and they check a lot more than just your vehicles oil and other fluid levels. The experience was pleasant and very convenient.

This was my second trip to this location. The first time I found oily palm prints and oil had run down the grill. This time I looked before I pulled out of the bay. Oil on the grill again. I pointed it out and they wiped it. I have a full size pick up so reaching can be a challenge for the average individual. When I used to do my own work, I would drape something over the area I was working.Another thing I noticed while I was sitting in my truck waiting. I over heard the asst manager tell the techs that were standing around laughing, that he didn’t find something, at all funny.Between the oil on the outside of the truck (for the second time) and the “children” acting as techs, this was my final trip. Lube places are a dime a dozen.

They have treated me well each time I have gone in there. Each time, they have been very clear and communicate each step as they work on my vehicle. No real upselling which is also great in my book.

My vehicle is only a few years old and I was hesitant to try someone outside of a Ford service dealer. I was blown away with my visit. The level of professionalism, service, knowledge and efficiency was incredible. Highly recommend!!

This is not the cheapest oil change around, but for the modest price (for someone on a median income) you get a friendly, knowledgeable staff, and speedy service. The costs are tallied up in front of you on a monitor and each time the technician explained what I was getting and what options I had. I find the service very convenient and would recommend it to anyone willing to pay perhaps a little more for great service.

Ive been bringing my cars to them for a while. Great guys, manager recognize the regular returning customers. Been changing oil from them with a car that had 112,000 miles to 180,000 miles and car has no issue.

Went for an oil change and was there for not even 20 minutes and that included the wait!! Was so happy I went home, changed out trucks and went back and had them do an another oil change. The guys are fast and friendly and Ill definitely continue going here

Staff was rude, unprofessional, and made me feel like my business was inconveniencing them. They also failed my inspection for a loose bumper - I brought it to a body shop and a tech fixed it at NO COST with a single screw and bumper clip - they also informed me that the bumper shouldnt have resulted in a failed inspection. I decided to pay the new tech to re-inspect my car because paying an extra $40 was well worth not going back to Valvoline.

This place is a joke!! My son went in for a oil change and they tried to tell him that they could only put full synthetic oil in his car and it would be $90!!! I told him to leave! Went home to discover that we were right and the manual calls for 5-W30 or 10-W30. I called to tell them that they were crooks and that they were trying to take advantage of a 16 year old kid!! The manager still tried to make excuses about the kind of oil and even said that maybe their computers werent fully updated! (The car is 14 years old!! How long ago did they update their computers?) Wont be going back and will not recommend them to anyone I know!!!!

Hooksett and Derry locations are better staffed in my opinion than Manchester.None of them are that great. Price just too high.

First and LAST time I will ever go to a valvoline. A blind monkey would have done a better job working on my car. I explicitly told these clowns to be careful and they still fd up my oil plug. I wrote an email to their corporate office expressing my dissatisfaction with the work done and the stooge that called me basically told me I have an older car and that I should expect these sort of things. No one stands by their work any longer so do yourself a favor and skip this chop shop better to just go to a real mechanic.

It took less then 15 minutes, to get a oil change. Also, in there website they currently have discount coupons on oil!

Ok service . Coolant flush, turned out to be a coolant drain and refill.. over priced . Coolant flush is just that flushing of the coolant system . Over priced and their definitions of listed services are not the same as others .

They charged me $90 dollars for a regular oil change..... Probably cause Im a college student and didnt know better. (But I paid for it)!Someone down there is definitely running the scam business of a life time, good for them I guess but not good for the customer. DONT GO THERE

I like the fast and friendly service. Too bad the prices are high. If you go to a dealership youll end up paying the same thing. If an appointment is not easily obtained at a dealership Valvoline is an alternative.

Asked for a conventional oil change which cost 19.95 for my fiances car. She went there and they scammed her $61. Its funny that when you specifically asked for something people can barely even comprehend what youre asking for and give you something completely different just to charge more. Turn and drive away as fast as you can unless you like being ripped off

People are quick to write negative reviews, but after many great visits to this Valvoline location I wanted to write something positive. As a woman I always dread doing stuff for my car, because I feel like most place tend to think women are naive and will buy into anything that is recommended. Valvoline has always been honest and has never pressure me into spending all this extra money for services or products that are not needed. (I know when my air filter needs to be changed, I dont like to be told I need a new one every time I go in for service... Thank you Valvoline for not doing this). The staff are always friendly, answers questions appropriately and get me in and out in a timely manner, and I go for oil changes and inspections at this location. This is my go to (and the dealership I bought the car from is not far down the road). I highly recommend Valvoline, and signing up for their e-mails so you can get coupons $$

Wish to could give it 0 stars. First off I got my first car no too long ago so Ive never gotten an oil change by myself nor did I know what it usually ranges from. When I went there they seemed like ok people, not too nice but also not excessively rude. Anyway they checked my lights and afterwards told me I needed a Max synthetic oil change for my specific car, making it seem like that was the only option. Then gave me my oil change, but afterwards they tried getting me to buy all these different things for my car, things I didnt need. Then charged me 61 dollars for my oil change. I didnt think anything of it considering I didnt know how much oil changes were supposed to be. And as soon as I got home my mom knew I had been scammed. She said Ive never bought an oil change for more than 30 dollars, that is absolutely ridiculous and asked where the receipt was, and realized they never gave me a receipt. Just told me itll send to your email which its been 3 hours & I still havent gotten it. If you ask me, this is the worst investment Ive ever made. Do yourself a favor and go to D&D in concord, or VIP in Manchester. They wont scam you and youll get your moneys worth.

Had my girlfriend go in for a basic oil change since I did not have time to do it this week. As usual since its a girl they tried to tell her she needed a bunch of different fluids changed when I recently had them changed. Beyond that the (main tech?) maybe manager felt the need to talk about how he makes 100k a year working here and how college would have been a waste of time (buddy you take home 28k a year if your lucky get back to pumping oil and working on your 01 F150). Anyway after the staff being rude/ weird they sent her on the way without the hood fully latched and she had to pull over on the highway and close it correctly, great work guys, maybe one more semester at UTI huh?... Staff= 1 star. Quality= 1 star. Professionalism= 1 star.

This place sucks. They over charge for everything and don’t even preform any services you pay for. The manager Orion is a heroin addict and he only cares about money for his addiction. Don’t buy anything here
