Yanni and James demonstrated such professionalism and patience. They treated us as it we were their family. With a family of four our tour was tailored based upon each individuals interests. Our time spent together was valued, not rushed. Definitely will use their services again. Highly recommended.

Yianni with hi5 tours was great at what he does! I was given a recommendation from a family member. It was our first time in Hawaii. He personalized the tour to our likings and we did not feel rushed at all. The day had a flow to it that made it seem there was thought put into it. We had food trucks in the north shore, went paddle boarding, seen & swam underneath a waterfall, seen turtles,and visited some exclusive areas. I even got to pick some of my favorite fruit. Got some beautiful pictures in the process. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable of the entire island and even left us with some recommendations for the remainder of our trip that paid off exponentially! He was very kind and had a great spirit. Im glad to have gotten the chance to meet and share time with such a great human being. Thank you for making our trip that much better. My partner and I spent a little over a week in Oahu exploring, relaxing, and visiting various attractions. I wish we had started with Hi5 Tours because their circle island tour was absolutely the highlight of our trip! Our tour guides were personable, engaging, and so knowledgeable! Of course, everything in Oahu is beautiful and interesting to a mainlander, but Hi5 digs a little deeper to find truly fun and unique places to visit while making even van rides and rest stops a good time. Highly recommend!!!

Fantastic day from start to finish with Imran! The morning started with a box of Leonard’s malasadas and leis for our family! Imran was a fantastic tour guide, open ideas and gave great information about the culture and areas as we drove to the north shore. A few places on the agenda were the Dole plantation, views of turtles at a local beach, lunch at the famous Giovanni’s shrimp truck, and Matsumoto shaved ice. He even made a special stop to two stores that the kids wanted to visit. We visited the Waimalu Falls, in which he walked us up to the falls. While there, he helped the kids on the rocks and took lots of great pictures! Throughout the day, Imran took pictures to capture special moments! These were just a few highlights from a marvelous day! It really was a fantastic day and he was an amazing tour guide, who made us feel very welcome! I highly recommend and ask for Imran, you won’t be sorry!

This business came highly recommended on a Facebook site I belong to so we gave it a try. My daughter and I were visiting Oahu for the first time and we didn’t have a rental, so booked a private tour as a way to see the island. We were NOT disappointed!! We spent a relaxing, enjoyable day seeing the sites that were personalized to our interests. We didn’t have to fight traffic, search for parking or walk long distances to get to our destinations. Instead we were treated like old friends by Yianni and our driver, James. Our belongings were guarded by James, while Yianni showed us sites we probably would have never seen by ourselves. Yianni was so kind and entertaining to myself and my 9 year old daughter. I even went paddle boarding- which I never would have done on my own, but was definitely the highlight of my whole trip! Yianni provided instructions so I felt safe and successfully paddled while sea turtles swam underneath my board. Even though the day was long and jam packed with fun, we never felt rushed or stressed. At the end of the day it felt like we were saying goodbye to dear friends. I would give higher than 5 stars if I could!

Yianni&Eric were the greatest hosts who ensured our tour was tailored to everyone’s needs. The tour was great as we were a group of 13 so we got to know everyone& its not crowded like most tours.From the beautiful beaches,north shore,swimming with the green turtles,yummy garlic prawns & cocktails by Turtle Bay-just to name a few of the activities for the day, it was awesome!Yianni is friendly and knowledgeable. I was in Hawaii for New Year 2020 and was lucky enough to get on a tour with Yianni.It was an amazing tour. Yianni is very passionate and knowledgeable about Hawaii. He loves sharing facts and anecdotes.The tour was culinary, starting with a visit to a local coffee plantation where we had coffee whilst Yianni explained how the coffee beans are processed to end up in our cup.We had ice cream at the Dole pineapple plantation whilst being told about the history of the plantation. We walked around with Yianni highlighting key aspects and then spotting some geckos for us to photograph.We went to numerous beautiful beaches where we saw turtles. We were also fortunate to get to watch a professional surfing competition.This is an amazing tour with an amazing tour guide. Ill definitely go again next time Im in Hawaii.

OMG! Best day out in Oahu. If you are visiting Oahu you absolutely must book a tour with Hi5.

This is a must do, especially if its your first time in Hawaii. They took us to a coffee farm (that had amazing milk shakes) and showed us how they grow and process the beans. They told us the history of the family that own it. Then to the Dole Plantation to have Dole whip. We swam with sea turtles, and were taught how to paddle board. We ate at big wave shrimp that had garlic buttered shrimp so good, I cried. We proceed to tour the island, learning the history of the island and see locations out side of Waikiki. We saw different movie locations, like Turtle Bay Resort (used in Forgetting Sarah Marshall). Strongly recommend it to anyone else about to visit Hawaii. Probably the best part of our vacation.

This was the best way to spend Christmas Eve! My Dad and I had a fantastic day exploring the island. He wasnt so into paddle boarding, so Yianni took him to a great little pub so he could taste some of the local brews while the rest of us got out on the boards. The tour is geared to take in what the customers want to do, it is personal and it is fun. Highly recommended.

What a perfect first day of our vacation! Sian was a fabulous tour guide - lots of pep, energy, and good humor the entire day. This was honestly one of the best days ever! We got to swim with turtles 🐢 and hold lizards! The tour was tailored to everyone and the scenery was breathtaking. We spent two days with the guys of Hi 5 Tours and it was the most amazing days of our holiday. Yianni fitted in with our family group as though he was one of us. We did the island circle tour and it was great! Paddle boarding, snorkeling, food trucks, beach stops, fresh fruit. Sian and Kelly are great tour guides and made the day really fun.

If you are planning a trip to Hawaii, I would highly recommend Hi5 Tours. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour in April 2019, Yianni and Captain Eric were wonderful hosts and so knowledgeable about the island. We saw turtles and went swimming with them at a stunning beach. We visited a coffee farm and bought coffee, and Yianni had the most amazing treats from a local bakery for us. We visited the Dole Plantation where my daughter loved seeing all the tiny green gecko’s, and the pineapple whip and juice was amazing! My daughter also really wanted to learn about sugar cane, so Yianni took us all to what was once a sugar cane mill that now produces chocolate and coffee. It was awesome to learn how chocolate is created, from tasting the flesh around the raw cocoa nibs, seeing them all laid out to dry, then on to taste the amazing chocolate. We visited some awesome food trucks for lunch, then went paddle-boarding and watched the turtles swim along with us 😀 We will definitely book another tour when we go back! Thanks Hi5!

We had a wonderful day. Perfect for our group of 3 adults and 4 children. Our children are aged 10, 8 and two 4 year olds. We were taken to beautiful family friendly places to try paddleboarding and snorkeling. Delicious places to eat and so many small touches throughout the day that made it just perfect. Highly recommend for a personalised tour that suits a family.

What a great tour. Yianni the guide met us at our hotel and was warm and welcoming from the get-go. The day was actually quite wet which we feared would ruin the trip but Yianni wasnt about to let that happen.After picking up the rest of our small group, he asked each of us what we were most interested in seeing. He was honest and transparent with us that the wet conditions would make some of the usual activities (like snorkelling) less than ideal but was eager to offer many alternatives and customize our tour to our preferences.Starting the cool wet day with hot Hawaiian coffee and warm malasadas in a coffee plantation, we proceeded to eat our way through pineapple plantations, chocolate producers, food trucks and roadside stands. Whenever there was a break in the weather he would whisk us down to a hidden beach to spot turtles, swim and take photos or to paddle board up a tropical stream.He explained local culture, gave recommendations on other places to visit, kept us laughing with his jokes and rocking to his tour playlist. Frankly he took what could have otherwise been a lemon of a day and served us all lemonade instead. Thanks Yianni and thank you James our driver for a great day....Oh, and I didnt even mention the fact he is one of the most affordable tours on the island! Best of both worlds, quality and affordable. Just amazing.

Our day wth Yanni was one of the highlights of our trip to the islands. Having just spent a week on the big island doing all the water activities, we were looking for something different. Fortunately, the other couple in our small group felt the same way too .Yanni took us on a tour that was oriented to food and sites. We attended the coffee farm, the Dole exhibit, the old sugar mill (now a coffee mill and soap factor). We had lunch at the food trucks and drank raw coconut milk out of the shell. And yes we did make it to Yanni’s secret beach to spot some turtles. What made the trip special was Yanni. - he tailored the tour to what our group wanted to see and explained everything as we went along. He engaged each of us so that we all felt comfortable and enjoyed each other’s company. We were sad that such a fun day had to end. We wholeheartedly recommend Yanni to all who want to experience a tour that has that personal touch and is a little bit off the beaten path.

This was a fantastic full day tour with Yianni as our tour leader, and James as our driver. We got to do a little bit of everything including sampling great coffee, chocolate, sorbet and macadamia nuts. We went snorkling and Stand Up Paddle boarding. We were taken to some fantastic food trucks for lunch and to end the day had a lovely cocktail by waters edge. The scenery through out the day was beautiful. Yianni made the whole day enjoyable with his stories and his knowledge of the island. He provided us with a number of ideas for the rest of our stay in Oahu. James was a safe driver so we felt comfortable the whole day. Thankyou, I highly recommend this tour to fellow travellers.

We recently did the circle island tour. Sian and Kelley were excellent tour guides. Even though we did have certain stops, they were very flexible. In the beginning of the tour Sian asked what were our interests and what we wanted to see. We weren’t rushed and the experience was very personalized. Yianni and Eric took my family on a private tour around the island. With only five people in our group we still had a wide range of ages 25-58. Yianni made sure we were all comfortable the entire time. The younger people had a chance to swim with sea turtles and our less active ones still had the chance to enjoy from a distance without getting dirty. We went from the highest point on the island to ending the day with cocktails and we got history lessons and absolutely gorgeous photos on the way. As a matter of fact Yianni is not only a fantastic tour guide hes also a photographer and did a lot of the photo taking for/of us so we could really be present in the moment. Eric was absolutely a delight as he is not only the best driver on the island for sure hes also very funny and engaging as well. We were delighted with our tour and it felt more like hanging with old friends than anything else.Highly recommended!
