I have had 6 homes inspected. In the past, the inspector reviewed the home and then sent a written report. I never saw the inspector. Charles, of Diamond Head, was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. After the inspection he spent over an hour with us, at the site, meticulously going over every detail, interior, exterior, attic, foundation, roof, and pool. He checked all electrical outlets and appliances, filled bathtubs and sinks to check for leaks, used a moisture sensor to investigate any suspicious stains. In a nutshell I was able to see everything, first hand, for myself, which made me feel very confident in the purchase of our new home. All my questions were answered professionally, on the spot. I needed a licensed inspector to inspect the home prior to closing, as per the purchase contract. Diamond Head Home notified me with multiple reminders prior to the inspection day. On the day of inspection, they not only did a very thorough inspection, but also coordinated a virtual walkthrough for me, as I was in a remote location. Daniel, the inspector, explained to me, in a great detail, each essential area that he had inspected. He was very knowledgeable and easy to follow. Within 24 hours of the inspection, he drafted an official inspection report and send it to me. The inspection report had very detailed description of what had been observed with pictures. Although it was a little pricy, but it was worth every penny. I still get follow-up emails from Diamond Head Home even a few days after the inspection.

Very polite and friendly inspector (his assistant was not very personable and seemed disinterested in the process). Our inspector took us through the process in a very professional process. We were impressed with his patience with all of our questionsThe only issue we had was that we found 8-10 windows that were compromised which we felt he or his assistant should have seen; we found a couple of smaller issues but none of it made it into our report until we contacted the main office. If you take an approach that it is a team effort I believe you will be more happy with the overall process
