Royal Hawaiian Movers came out to pack our house. Were incredibly professional throughout the pack out day. My wifes Wallet, IDs, Credit Cards were accidently packed with our Household Goods. They went out of the way to help us go through the packed items to recover her wallet prior to moving everything. These guys are awesome, and take customer service to the next level. Thank you for a great experience!

Came without notice after days of attempting to reach out to them via the logistics company. Im not sure if it was the east coast logistics companies fault or theirs. Regardless, we were not properly prepared for the movers. A full tank of propane also went missing. I planned on giving it to my tenants when they moved in.They did manage to salvage some credit by preforming the task quickly.

My husband is military, so we were moving from Oahu to Germany using Royal Hawaiian Movers back in March. We do not have many things, mostly bulky furniture and glass decorations. The workers assigned to us were very professional. They worked very efficiently! I had them pack up a room at my old home, and a storage unit in Waipahu. We started the day at 10am and ended a little after 5pm, which was impressive considering there were only 2 of them and my storage unit had a tiny elevator so there was a lot of going up and back down. They were very careful with my decorations, which was important for me because it wasnt stuff easily purchased or found. Anyways, when we got to Germany even my transportation officer who oversaw my move in process was surprised at what a good job was done packing my things. Most companies, in her 20 years experience in her line of work, she says dont follow protocol about how to pack certain items. She was thoroughly impressed because all of my glass items were packaged separately in lots of packing paper, and if possible even cardboard and then shoved into boxes with extra packing paper. None of my things arrived damaged, everything was in tact! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Royal Hawaiian Movers, cant beat it.

The knowledge of the customer service is less than helpful. They were unable to answer basic questions about process of their own company. After being transferred twice the person was still having to put me on hold to relay questions back to their dispatch. Additionally this company not professional. Before unpacking my items the lead packer pulled aside and told me that if I took care of his team, theyd take care of my stuff. I thought he was joking, so nervously I was like, what does that mean. and he said you know, take care of us with food and drinks and well take care of your stuff. Seriously, but with a jovial response, I said well that should come without bribe. Other than that the movers underestimated the unpack time. Due to being behind, they brought in the B team on the last day to assist with unpacking. The lead packer asked if I still wanted everything unpacked because it was getting close to them having to leave. I stated they were contracted to deliver and unpack and yes I would hold them to the contract. At this point it went from 3 people in my house to 6 and their method of unpacking as to dump out boxes anywhere they could. I caught a guy dumping boxes of bathroom items (towels, decorations, etc) into the bathtub. From the looks of it he had dumped about 4-boes of items. Two others were caught dumping ...not unpacking, but literally dumping clothes on the beds. I pulled the lead packer aside and mentioned the two concerns two which he replied, well do you want us out of here on time or not? Then he and the crew started talking in a pacific islander language, laughing and making obscene gestures. One of the packers opened a box clearly labeled bedroom in the garage, when I corrected him and said that he needed to take that to the upstairs bedroom he cursed and jerked the open box up and proceeded upstairs, that jerking motion made several items fall out and break on the flor. It was at that point I kicked them out of the house and finished the job myself.

Superb service! The crew was professional, efficient, and very friendly! The completed a fantastic job and were very respectful of COVID safety. Highly recommend!!

If you are moving from the mainland- do not use this company. I moved from the mainland and expected good service since this company has a good Better Business Bureau Rating, so we paid more than other companies to not have to worry. When they packed our items - it was smooth but when we landed here - despite multiple conversations with our representative on the mainland side about no additional fees, they tried to charge us an addition 700 dollars to move out items off the boat the day before our scheduled move. When they did move us in - they dropped and broke many of my items (including a couch), ruined some property and refused and got irritated when asked to unpack - which was included in the price of the move. I am still - 3 months later working to get my damages fixed on the items that they broke. It is unfortunate since this move was made much more stressful than it needed to be.

Lazy movers. I had to be at work while the movers delivered our stuff, so my 8 months pregnant wife was at home dealing with it. The delivered some stuff inside, but left half our stuff outside our doorstep. Also, they broke my doorbell in doing so. Avoid this company at all cost. Im in the process of filing a formal complaint within USAF channels to make sure no one else on base has to deal with this. If you are military and get these guys, request someone else, or watch them very closely taking pictures and documenting everything.Update: They are also liars. Claim they were instructed to deliver boxes outside, but were absolutely not. I also found out later the stuff that I thought was delivered inside, was actually brought inside from my wife. They did apologize and try to send the guys back, but much later in the day after we had completed the job ourself. Also my doorbell is still broke. Again, avoid this company at all cost.

The workers very professional and nice,a bit hard to understand and talk because everyone wearing masks.

From the first phone call for an estimate to the last handshake, our moving experience from Oahu to Big Island was a positive experience. We dont own a lot of expensive stuff, but the movers treated everything like it was fragile treasure. Layers of communication, efficiency, punctuality, kindness, respect, and professionalism were greatly appreciated. Our move was virtually stress-less!

We had an amazing pack out today. Guys we’re clean, on time, efficient, friendly and very very intentional in listening and taking good care of our belongings. I am honestly shocked at how efficient and good these guys were. I’ve had several military moves but this was by far the best!

Movers are horrible at assembling furniture! With some of the items it seemed like it was assembled but when taking a closer look, some of the screws were stripped and others were missing and left on the floor. Extremely frustrating. When calling the company, they kept transferring me from phone to phone without truly helping. If they are assembling, ensure you supervise them... if not, the same thing may happen.

Wish I could give zero stars. The military had us use them to move back home after getting out and they lost over 26 of our boxes, our mattress, part of our couch, vacuum, surfboard, our child’s freaking crib, keepsakes that will never get back and so much more. Our TV stand was also broken. Worst moving experience we’ve ever had. How do you lose that much stuff?! I am so hurt and frustrated that half of our stuff is just gone. Please don’t use this company if you care about your house hold goods.

First off with the stop order movement somehow the military assigned 2 different carriers and 2 different shipment1) was royal Hawaiian, the second was aloha international. Aloha international contacted us immediately came out and did our Packing survey...almost a week later royal hawaii called to do the same, which made us stop and try to figure out why we were getting contacted by someone else. We told them we did a survey already and needed to call our travel office to figure out who was the true company to use. They called again a few days later over and over and over again not stopping till I answered, he demanded we let them come out, I said no we are waiting on figuring out this mess and no need to waste their time if it turned out they did not have the contract....he proceeded to let out a string of expletives and hung up...I promptly let our travel office know that we would request that this company not be our carrier, because if their moving quality is anything like their customer service then I might as well sell everything because it would be the worst move ever! Luckily I don’t have to use this company.

Just packed us out in half the time scheduled. Everyone was super respectful and hard charging. Special thanks to Tawni, Dylan, Jon, Ben, Kawai and Rod. If you get any one of these awesome folks you’re in good hands! Royal Hawaiian moved us in and out, they’re all we recommend to our fellow military members and beyond. The Royal Hawaiian Moving crew who packed and loaded our household goods for shipping were outstanding. They were courteous, fast, and responsive to any concerns we had. We would definitely use them again. Customer service called every day to make sure our experience was a good one.

They did an amazing job packing up my house! Gilbert was extremely professional and fast! The rest of the crew treated my house well and didnt waste anytime packing up. They finished my place in a day. Highly recommend!

Awesome. Just awesome.The guy who packed was really good. He really did a good (awesome) job. I hope he will have a promotion or a raise because he deserve it for sure.The guys who loaded the boxes in the freight did a really good job too.Great company. I truly suggest it.Only one thing that they need to improve. Its how they packed the bed mattress. My stuff is in long term storage and I have no way to repack them. They are just in cartoon box without plastic to cover them.They should have been put in plastic bag, air removed and sealed.I guess I will need to replace them in 7 months especially that there was not climate controlled storage in the area where I moved and the temperature will go down to 5°C in 3 months.Nobody is perfect ;)One of the mattress was due to be changed so only one will make me mad to have to change because it was new but since everything else went so smooth I can forgive that one.I should have told them to pack it better. They would have done it I am sure.

Despite being assigned them by default, I had a really great experience with them! I had to wait a while until they could deliver my things, but I think this was mostly due to it being PCS season and less their fault. On the day of the move-in, they very quickly unloaded the things from the truck and brought them upstairs into my condo building. They were efficient and friendly the whole time, and they were great at helping me assemble my furniture and even helped me arrange it in my apartment. On top of that, they gave me a welcome to Hawaii pineapple at the end!

Kawai, Rod, and Shane were amazing! They were kind and considerate. They packed my entire three bedroom house in one afternoon, and never complained if I was in the way! They did amazing work!

The pre-move service rep provided excellent service. He had an excellent understanding of the packing process and his estimate was very accurate. The movers were adequate. Their packing and loading efforts were adequate. They were moderately communicative when ask questions and/or provided comments with the furniture and goods packing.

The team that showed up was very friendly and swift. When we moved here they unpacked us and we excellent to the point both my wife and I really wanted then on the way out. When we got them, we were very happy indeed. They move very fast, which is both good and bad. Due to speed, they packed up some high value items without us watching or proper recording. They also did not go through with us what was high value, though on day two, before any work started, I walked through with everyone to ensure they knew. In speed, a few things were packed that were not meant to be, including car seats, but thankfully they were for the second car so not vital.Speed is great, and they are very friendly and professional. Just be careful that because of the speed, it is hard to keep an eye on everything going on at one time. Still, I highly recommend them to anyone moving on or off island.

I am in the military for 23 years and completed 15 moves. This crew wad by far the best we have ever had. Truly outstanding job by a professional crew. Rey, Robert, Bobo, and Tyson were the best. Robert was always focused on customer support and ensured our pack out wad the way we wanted it. Rey did a great job as the team lead. Always on time and finished on time. Anyone who gets this crew for their move will be lucky.

Royal Hawaiian Movers and DeWitt did such an outstanding job with our move that I cannot think of using anyone else going to or from the Hawaiian islands. First, during the initial meeting, David Little did an outstanding job of helping us decide what to take and what to leave. He came so close to the actual cost from his initial estimate that there were no additional costs. That is a relief within itself.During the move, we were able to get updates on where our goods were and the estimated delivery time. It turns out that it took a little less than expected. Also when our goods arrived, nothing was damaged out of 25+ different containers. All items were packed with care by the staff at Hawaiian Movers and not one item was chipped or damaged.The best surprise was there was not a surprise. There were no additional incidental charges that have happened with other companies.In conclusion, you cannot go wrong with this company. From start to finish, they are professional and excellent at what they do!

I was beyond impressed with Royal Hawaiian Movers and the exceptional job they did with our delivery/unpack. Communication prior to the delivery day was wonderful and the crew was on time, courteous, and efficient. They were careful with our things and asked where I would like items placed. Before they left, they made sure there wasnt anything else I needed and made sure nothing was damaged. During a time of PCS stress, Royal Hawaiian Movers was a beautiful breath of fresh air! I would highly recommend them to anyone.

The three gentleman that came were very professional, and courteous. Good to know the correct people were sent for the job. Royal Hawaiian called to check on them during packing and two people came by to check also. No need to check on the crew I had, I nearly begged them to take a break to talk story!!! GREAT GROUP OF GUYS.... Royal Hawaiian is a must to move with so far.

We had an in home estimate for our move from Oregon to Oahu but still got overcharged about $2000. We ended up spending $14,000 instead of $12,000 written quote!The worst part is six missing boxes with valuable items which were supposedly inventoried with their Mickey Mouse system; what a joke. On top of that the movers broke other items and stripped all the bolts from our beds.Ronyl at claims made a lot of empty promises and passed us on to the manager Jeff who was rude, unprofessional and simply not empathic.We ended up receiving a measly $100 check and extremely rude responses from Jeff.They only pay pennies for every pound regardless of how valuable your items are.Beware!

They 3 gentlemen did an excellent job. They took pride in their work, and made sure that all items were placed and/or unpacked correctly. Certainly more professional than their sister company on the mainland who put tape on wood - ouch in a warm climate - and also did not protect/wrap a couple of pieces of furniture correctly for shipping in a container. This crew pointed out those errors as well as making sure that any box that had a dent was opened and inspected. Very impressive. I would highly recommend this group of movers.

Great Prompt Service from the time I received the estimates all the way to when they packed and picked up my household goods. Packing crew were courteous, cordial and thorough. I even forgot some items and they helped me make sure that I got everything and accommodated my last minute packing before closing the container. All the staff I met or talked to was very helpful. I am a military member doing a PCS move. The crew of 5, led by Walter were polite, hardworking and fun. Walter arrived around 0820 and quickly started after getting an overview of what needs to be done. The rest of the crew followed in the afternoon and ensured things were taken care of on time. Also, I had to ask Royal Hawaiian through JPPSO to make several adjustments on my dates and they were very accommodating. Ms Faye made sure new dates were confirmed each time.

Day 1 of 3, was very impressive, particularly with the one packer, Jason, for nearly 6 hours. Jason worked expeditiously, yet careful, with the packing of the first floor of my apartment, at my request. When the additional help arrived, 2 more people, the productivity continued and the teamwork was superb. Again, my concerns and preferences were addressed and adhered to. I specifically requested Royal Hawaiian Movers because I was impressed with the cooperation of the packers when my household goods were delivered to my home 4+ years ago when I arrived to the island. Stay tuned, 2 more days of packing to go, with the heaviest pieces remaining to be packed and crated.

This is the 3rd time that I have used Royal Hawaiian movers. Each time that I have interacted with the company. It has been very good. This time a crew of 3 with a 4th crew member switching in and out met me within the allotted time of the 30 minutes that I was told and packed me out of a storage unit in less then 4 hours. Filling three wooden crates for my house hold good storage. I have moved more than 10 times and the way that this crew moved efficiently and timely with a great attitude and spirit was very refreshing to behold.

Our move on January 10th went spectacularly and the team arrived in time and welcomed us into our new home with Aloha.The crew was quick courteous and professional, introduced themselves when they arrived, and placed our boxes and furniture as requested. Terrible!Driver and movers doesnt have manners. They were very rude and wont stop pointing finger at me. They just parked whenever they liked and doesnt follow our building rules. They should send a more experienced and more professional employees on the road. Not the arrogant and Mr. know it all kind. I wouldnt recommend them. Customer service is not good at all. Dont get them. Youll regret it.

Team was absolutely Awesome. They first introduced themselves, put runners done on my white carpet and ensured I was satisfied with the placement of Ll my belongings in less than 2hrs. Some of my belongings were damaged but they informed me of how the claim process works. Thank you so much this was my first military move.

We had a good experience with Royal Hawaiian Movers when we got on island. Now, we picked them to move us out. Our packer name Romeo was OUTSTANDING! He is a one man Army, he basically packed everything in our house. He is very professional, polite and fast! Dude is like Superman with packing and lifting heavy things around the house. We are a military family that has moved 13 times in 20 years so we’ve had a lot of experiences with moving companies all over the world. We have to say that Royal Hawaiian Movers is one of our favorites. Everyone, from administrative staff to the actual crew, are very friendly, professional, courteous, and efficient. We are often told that turn over in crew members is quite high in this industry so it was a pleasant surprise to see many of the same crew members that moved us into our home several years ago. They were the ones that remembered us and recalled conversations they had with us which shows they truly care about their customer. Also, employee retention is probably high because they hire quality people and take care of their employees. We highly recommend this company to anyone... and not just because they gift you with a delicious pineapple when moving into your new home. Great group of guys! Wouldnt hesitate to let them move me again! They were polite and courteous. My things were delivered the next day they were taken off the boat. Being in the military, Ive had my share of interaction with moving companies. Without a doubt, Royal Hawaiian Movers are at the top of their profession. I received a phone call a few days prior to the move day and it was clearly identified when the movers would be at my residence. Crew arrived on time, were courteous, and worked quickly. I also received a call from Royal Hawaiian Movers (while the movers were still there) asking about how things were going. Nice to see a company be so proactive, and professional, in their approach to customer service. I would definitely recommend Royal Hawaiian Movers.

I recently retired from the Army while stationed in Hawaii, and decided to move back to the mainland. The Transportation Office contracted the Royal Hawaiian Movers to pack our household goods for shipment. The movers were very courteous and fast. Unfortunately in their haste, they did not pack our property with care. Our high value items were not damaged (probably because my wife and I packed them in their original packaging prior to the arrival of the movers), but some of our furniture had bent frames, missing screws, missing parts, scratches, and etc. Furthermore, when the delivery movers arrived at our final destination, they did not have the original checklist from the Royal Hawaiian Movers. So I had to take a picture of my copy and hand it over. I became very concern while they were packing when one of the crew members asked where the original packaging was for the 70” TV. I had all the material set aside for them in advance, but somehow they lost it in the small living room. Fortunately, they packed it well with the material they brought. It was very hard to supervise them and to avoid getting in their way at the same time. While they had to make a couple of trips to transport our goods, I noticed some our high value items were left alone in the parking lot. To avoid having them stolen, I had to stand guard until they returned to pick it up. Later, I learned they left a man behind to guard the items; but he was hiding in the shade behind some bushes and did not notice me standing by my property. Very nice guys, but a bit careless.

Royal Hawaiian Movers were outstanding in every facet of getting our household goods moved from Tampa, Florida to Honolulu, HI! The crew was hard working, courteous, and responsive to our requirements. They unpacked and reassembled our furniture efficiently and there was no damage to any of our property. Great job!

Great experience. We were quoted that it would take 3 days to pack everything up but they finished in about 5 hours. The team greeted us upon arrival and provided a very quick move out. My only improvement would be the pre-move inspection. That person said it would take 3 days. Upon learning they could complete in 1 day, I kinda had to jump through hoops to find accommodations at a nearby hotel. Other than that it was awesome, stress free, and I highly recommend this company.

Recently moved from Honolulu to Texas and was very happy with this service. The estimate was very, very close to the actual price. Everything was carefully packed and I wasn’t surprised to find absolutely nothing broken or damaged. The company who actually delivered everything there-I think Lonestar Movers, was very good too. They even came back a few weeks later to pick up cardboard boxes!

Staff was professional and friendly. Did an excellent job with packing our entire house. 3 stories FULL was packed and shipped out within a day and a half (less time than quoted for). Arrived on time and let us know before arrival. Overall great. Mahalo for making our move back to the mainland a lot easier.

The performance of Royal Hawaiian Movers was truly impressive. They arrived 2 hours early so I didnt have to wait around, and were patient enough to wait while I finish organizing the rest of my luggage. Our packing crew with Royal Hawaiian Movers was the absolute best packing crew we have ever had. We have moved five times in the past five years, and this was by far the most professional and efficient crew we have ever experienced. Royal Hawaiian Movers is a very thorough moving company with respectful and hard-working employees! I usually dread moving day, but this was a great experience!

Quick disclaimer, Im in the Military and I did not get a choice as to who my movers would be, but I was pleasantly surprised! They arrived on time, if not early. Although they started the day with only 1 mover, he was incredibly efficient. By noon, the rest of the crew arrived and they made so much progress that they reduced the anticipated 4 day pack-up to a 2 day pack-up, which gave me more time to get done what I needed to get done. The customer support folks called me each day to make sure that I was satisfied and they also sent out a supervisor to make sure things were going smoothly. I got to hand it to them, they had an especially hard job with our master bedroom furniture which had to be moved from the 3rd floor! Ive had many movers tell me that its the heaviest furniture theyve ever moved, but they didnt complain and they got it done. -Ryan R.

Our move on February 6th went very well. Nine men showed up on time. They unloaded the container and setup some of the furniture in about 2 1/2 hours.The men were all very courteous. I appreciated their hard work.

When the moving crew first arrived to our home for a drop off delivery they greeted us with a welcome pineapple. They were fast and the guys provided useful tips about the island. From good local places to eat and the best shore fishing spots on our side of the island. The HHG notifications were sent in conjunction to where they were. Our PCS Move went very well thanks to these guys. Thank you!

These guys were great. They told us arrive between 0800 and 1000, so of course we were prepared for 1000 like norm and these guys were at the door at 0800 on the dot. Put everything where we wanted and made sure not to jack the walls up like usual. If I was moving again I would ask for these guys.

They picked my items up from my storage unit on the 16th today, friendliest and most professional team Ive met. They did a amazing job and worked very quickly and diligently and packed all my things up. Amazing job by them and to the company with their great customer service

All Movers were very respectful, and courteous. One mover did a lot more than the other two, so i didn’t enjoy watching one person do majority of the work. I did for some items to be put together, ho, so I helped the guy that was doing everything. The bolts weren’t all the way screwed in, so I took care of it myself. It was ok service not good/great, but not horrible either.

They arrived on time and were very efficient in setting and packing all my stuff. Kudos to Romeo, Reno, James, Stephen and Daniel. I highly recommend their services if you ever need to move your stuff somewhere.

Romeo damn near packed my whole house by himself. Very professional and gentle with our household goods. It’s only the first day of packing, but it’s going great so far!

Unaccompanied baggage move went very smoothly. I was told the crew would arrive between 0800-1000. Crew called to inform me they were in the loading dock at about 0815. The crew wasted no time in preparing the boxes and hand-trucks for my stuff. The crew promptly and efficiently packed and loaded my goods and departed by about 0900. Very quick and painless!

My shipment from mainland was delivered by Royal Hawaiian Movers. Although we initially had a slight challenge in scheduling the delivery time because we couldnt sync up my condo elevator availability and their delivery crew availability, everything worked out in the end. The delivery crew was very pleasant, courteous and efficient. They unpacked every box and put things away as requested. Very satisfied with the service.

Royal Hawaiian Movers were on-time, quick and efficient. Trucks showed up promptly at 8 am and were completely done with the unloading, unpacking, and re-assembling of our shipment by noon, 11:59 to be exact. They even had a nice pineapple as a welcome gift.

The satff was awesome in handling our household good. I wish the company that packed us out on the mainland was and meticulous and caring as these guys.

Beware. When hired to move equipment, you are responsible end to end. When damaged beyond repair, you dont have the liberty to state it may have been Young Brothers. A mock internal review was held and ...Oh surprise! RHMovers is not at fault. Well, just who was then? I am left with damaged goods. Extremely dissatisfied. whats done is done. Will never use them again or allow a contractor to use them again.

Best movers I have had. They protected my home and stuff. They took the time to help set up bed frames and other furniture. A+

The movers were on time, courteous, and everything was done quickly. I only take away one star because they stacked my couch against the wall sideways and it fell on my TV. I pointed it out to one of the movers and he picked up the couch right away. I would use this moving company again in the future and rexommrec to friends.

The last time I used a moving company was approximately 30 years ago. You hear the horror stories about the staff stealing merchandise, etc. In receiving an estimate we were informed that it would take two days to pack and one day to load the container. Today, three movers arrived and they worked hard. The two days of packing will now be completed in one day and the container will be here tomorrow to load. Great job. Thanks.

The crew was awesome and very polite. They moved everything into our condo and helped us set the TV. I recommend them and would use them again for future moves.

As they promptly arrived at eight in the morning I had an emergency and had to change the pickup time for later.I appreciate the company’s level of flexibility during my case, and when the movers arrived at noon, They worked hard, diligently, and respectfully in a timely manner. I recommend this moving company to anyone who wants to get it done right the first time!

We scheduled a move in April, and it was estimated at 3 days (2 for packing and 1 loading). The movers were supposed to show up between 8 and 10, they showed up at 815 with a crew of 6. I walked them through the house letting them know what was going to be packed, what stayed, and the high value items. They took notes, called me ‘sir’ and had everything packed and in the truck by 1215 (the same day).Very professional, and highly recommended.

I was given Royal Hawaiian Movers by the Military as my destination choice. The guys did a great job. It was a simple delivery and they had everything completed in under an hour from arriving to driving away.

Rated 4 which would have been an easy 5 if not for the spike on my blood pressure when I got a call telling me that my scheduled appointment today was for a survey instead of a pack/pick up. After receiving the call from the surveyor, I immediately called their office to clear up the misunderstanding. To make a story short, the company was able to arrange a pick-up and less than an hour later, Joseph was at my house packing my belongings. Mr. Gilbert showed up a few minutes later to help. Im told another person, Mark, should be showing up soon to help with the pack-up. Thank you Joseph and Mr. Gilbert for showing up on time despite all the misunderstandings!

My pack out that was dome last year was not enjoyable. But Royal Hawaiian Movers redeemed themselves today! Smooth and quick delivery. No issues with the personnel. Had a broken item but was claimed. Overall I am very satisfied.
