Aloha Ms. Foster:Thank you for having the First Aid/CPR class this past Saturday. Ms Herrington did an outstanding job in teaching us the latest techniques in CPR and using an AED safely. Many things have changed over the years as I watched the progression in performing CPR. When I first learned CPR, we had the victim lying on his stomach, you would place your hands on his back, lean forward, lean back, lift the arms, and rest. Then it changed to doing compressions, stopping to give two breaths and feeling the carotid for a pulse. Later it changed to doing compressions only. Now weve progressed to doing compressions and a AED to assist. I like the changes that have been made. Ms Herrington made it very easy to learn the new process and to use the new skills with confidence. The First Aid portion of the class that Ms Herrington did was also excellent. The instruction on the use of the epi pen, controlling bleeding with direct pressure or tourniquet, and other basic First Aid skills was a good refresher on skills that I havent used very often. Ms Herrington kept our attention at peak by keeping the information simple and easy to remember.Thank you for allowing Ms Herrington to give us this class and for the use use of your training equipment. I hope I never have to use the skills but if I do, I feel confident that I would be able to do it and without hesitation. Ron Carreira
They provide excellent training and overview of their defibrillators and the customers needs come first. The wall of survivors, show how AED increase the rate of surviving a heart condition.
AED Institute provided one of my CPR/AED trainings which helped when a man experienced cardiac arrest at my former school. The training I received from them helped saved that mans life and I know he was not the only one to benefit from their service. Highly recommended!
