A huge shout out to Drew! He delivered our snorkel sets to our resort. Fantastic communication! All sets were in fantastic shape- I was surprised by the quality of gear we received for such a reasonable price. We enjoyed snorkeling at Shark’s Cove. Because we couldn’t get reservations to Hanauma Bay until the morning of our departure, Drew graciously accommodated us. Drew had an enormous amount of patience for me and for our situation. I can’t say enough good things about Drew and about this company. I will recommend them to anyone I know visiting Oahu, and I look forward to renting gear from them in the future. True Aloha spirit!

We were in Waikiki for a week and rented beach chairs and umbrellas from Hawaii Beach Time for the entire time. It is a much better deal than renting from the hotel. Moreover we could take the chairs and umbrellas to other beaches any time we wanted. Love chairs and umbrellas, made by Tommy Bahamas, high quality, light weight, very functional with large pockets for personal stuff and insulated liner pockets for foods and cold drinks, also having straps for back carrying. We put beach towels and other stuff in the folded chairs and carried everything on our back, super convenient. The umbrellas have cork screws which bite into the sand much easier, but have plastic spikes which could break when the high wind flips them, a design weakness by manufacturer, but Hawaii Beach Time replaced them same day. They are on time, responsive and most communications are over text. Overall a positive experience and I would rent from them again.

Tried over a few days to place an order with them. No storefront, they have a self storage listed as their address. They dont answer the phone. Their message when you call is to text them. If you get a response, they will take hours to follow up on messages. After 2 days of trying I just gave up. Try another company, I am pretty sure they are just a scam.

HORRIBLE communication. Ive rented from them 2-3 times before and had a great experience so I understand the good reviews here but Im incredibly offended by their lack of communication this time. I wanted so badly to support a small business during COVID but wow this was a level of unprofessionalism I have never experienced.My boyfriend and I have been trying to rent one board since Sunday and today it is Friday and we have STILL been unable to confirm our rental. I called Sunday and received a text in response to my call. They told me to text at this number for questions and reservations. I have been trying to set up my reservation ever since via text but the responses have been little to none. On Wednesday my boyfriend even e-mailed them, but its been two days and still no response. Their main phone number just goes to voicemail, so then we tried to call the phone number we had been texting but someone answered saying you have the wrong person, even though hours later they would respond to my text with the same number.We were really excited to stand up paddle board this week but now we wont be doing it anymore. Im very disappointed. The communication was seriously the most unprofessional Ive ever experienced. All I wanted was to rent one board. I dont know why theyre not interested in doing so, or its fine if they are not able to but they should have communicated that to me instead of leaving me on read on and off for the last 5 days.

Worked with Drew and was absolutely fantastic. I called a day before (not recommended) and was able to call/text back and forth (due to flights) to get what I needed. I rented 2 beach folding chairs and a umbrella. The chairs folded back and were easy to carry on you back (backpack straps). Delivery and pickup were on time as promised. I will definitely use Hawaii Beach Time again on my next trip.

We rented a double kayak for a week, delivered it and took the extra time to show us how to properly strap it down to the car and very friendly. Extremely flexible on the pick up location and easy to work with and the price was unbeatable. If I ever have the chance to go to Oahu again I would absolutely rent from them again. Mahalo!

So thankful I stumbled across Hawai’i Beach Time. My family decided they wanted to paddle board last minute and I googled Hawaii Beach Time. I called from Ala Moana Beach Park and they delivered the paddle board 30 minutes later. Delivery and pick up was quick and easy, wish there were more places like this on the island.

Called to inquire about renting a beach umbrella and some lounge chairs. Called twice to get a voicemail that was full, left an email and a Facebook message, finally got through on the phone and the guy said he didn’t have any lounge chairs, and that he should take them off the website as they didn’t have any to rent, and that he wasn’t in a spot where he could look at his schedule but that he would call me back in 30 minutes when he could and I never got a call back. 12 hours later, no call and no umbrella...

Awesome company. New owners made it really nice. No more shady business. Delivery and pickup, plus the best deals on the island. Doesnt get any better.

Couldnt have been easier! My husband and I always stay up on the north shore of Oahu, and they have had no trouble delivering to our location (even though were not at a big hotel, or beach they list in their advertised packages). Delivery and pick-up is super easy, the price is AMAZING! We rent equipment weekly because the cost is just crazy good. After finding Hawaii Beach Time, I cant imagine a vacation without them. Rented two sets of snorkeling gear. Delivery was promised for 430 that afternoon. received series of messages delaying livery to 630. Left for dinner at 650 and agreed to drop off with bellman at hotel. Gear was there when we returned at 930. Went snorkeling next morning to find that wifes fins were mismatched, one fin too small. Ruined her day and mine. Also noticed on credit card that I was double billed. Called to resolve double billing and get refund on wifes fins.

Delivered standup paddle boards, chairs, an umbrella, and a cooler to the beach of my choice! Delivery and pickup was prompt and the guys were very friendly! Great price too!!! I would highly recommend getting gear through this place!!!

Our first time kayaking at Kualoa was amazing thanks to Hawaii Beach Time Rentals. Not only did the owner deliver our tandem kayak right to the beach, but he also picked it up at our convenience! Very polite, very flexible. And the price is by far the least expensive! We almost used another company and wouldve had to transport or drag a cart with the extremely heavy kayak down the street to the beach. Weve dont that before and even though were young we didnt want to waste our energy doing that. So Beach Time is definitely the company to go with! We will definitely be using them the next time we travel to Oahu!

Rented kayaks to go to Chinamans hat. They deliverd the kayaks to the beach on time and picked them up when we requestes. Great service very recomended. AAA+ RATING.

We asked for a delivery of four tandem kayaks to Kailua Beach and everything seemed normal. Then I find out that you have to have permits to kayak to the islands in Kailua, but they dont have any! So what am I supposed do, paddle around in circles? No thanks. It also turns out that delivering the kayak to the beach is illegal. So thats a lot of reasons not to go with this shady company. Keep searching the web and find somewhere with permits and a shop if you really want to enjoy your time and not end up in trouble with the law.
